Description

Planes is a Disney series of CGI films spun-off from Pixar's Cars franchise produced by DisneyToon Studios. It takes place in the same universe as Cars, being set in a world of living machines, but focuses more on living aircraft instead. This series' protagonist is a crop duster airplane named Dusty Crophopper, who wishes to race against other planes in air races despite not being a racing plane and, ironically, having acrophobia (fear of heights). Two films have been made so far, Planes in 2013 and Planes: Fire & Rescue in 2014.
