A sailor uniform or sailor suit is an outfit traditionally worn by enlisted seamen in a navy; it typically consists of a cap, a shirt with a sailor collar (often in white, blue or black), trousers or shorts, and a neckerchief. This design is largely obsolete, and if used by a modern Navy, is only worn for formal or ceremonial events.
Donald Duck is the most well known character to wear a sailor uniform in popular culture.
