Description
The Shadow Mantle is an item in Deltarune that is the central focus of Chapter 3's "Sword Route". It is a cloak that gives the wearer additional defense equal to the current Chapter number, as well as resistance to the Dark/Star bullet type (making Chapter 3's fight much easier).

Roaring KnightThe Mantle itself, also referred to as the Shadow Mantle Holder, Eram, and Nightmare by fans, is presumably the boss fought at the very end of the Sword Route. Frequently blurring the line between challenge and mockery, the Mantle delights in taunting Kris about their motives, desires, and potential enjoyment of the darker aspects of their journey.
