Description
A vivarium is any area or structure in which animals or plants are raised for the purpose of observation, research, and/or conservation. Vivariums often recreate certain ecosystems for the benefit of their residents.
Vivariums can range drastically in size, from those small enough to be placed on desks or tables to large buildings and outdoor exhibits.
