A Virtual Reality Headset or V.R. Headset is a form of digital headwear that uses 3D Near-Eye Displays, Near-Head Loud Speakers, and/or Pose Tracking to temporarily substitute the senses of sight, hearing, and sometimes even touch with a Virtual Simulation/Interactive Media.
Currently, they are most commonly used for recreational purposes such as VR Exclusive Video Games and Software or the escape from Reality into a Virtual World.
