Description
Yoshi (Japanese: ヨッシー, Yosshī) is an anthropomorphic dinosaur character from the Mario Bros video game series. He was created by Japanese artist Shigefumi Hino. In most Mario Bros games, he is used as a mount, and allows Mario or Luigi to propel himself through the air.
He first appeared in 1990 in the game Super Mario World. After that, he will appear in several other Super Mario games including several spin-off series. He also has his video game series called Yoshi Island.
Yoshis come in many different colors and are known for their love of fruit, using their long tongues to consume almost anything, and weaponizing whatever they swallow into an egg for throwing.
