Mickey Mouse looks for some spooky vinyl records for Halloween.

Disney isn't making Mickey cartoons we want to see, so I'm seriously considering making our own, albeit with our limited skills. My brother and I drew it, my brother did the voice acting, and I recorded the music. I've had the rough idea for this gag since about 2008, when I was starting to learn a lot more about Disney. Originally it was meant to be a series of Mickey and his friends going on a road trip in the real world, not just some cartoon version of it, and encountering various real life things they wouldn't see in their Disney bubble. It was gonna be called "Realityland". I wrote some rough scripts back then, but they're not very good. I never wrote down this specific gag until this year, which originally was gonna have Goofy instead of Horace. Jumping ahead about 18 years later (geez), Disney is in a much, much stranger place than it was when I came up with the idea. Mickey cartoon series in particular have been a really mixed bag. I've kept hoping that Disney would finally wise up and make Mickey cool again, but they've never quite managed it, despite the potential Epic Mickey promised. (That said, I quite like Roadster Racers and all adjacent series.) As you most likely know by now, Mickey Mouse went public domain a few years ago. So far no one's really done anything significant with the character. For a few years now I've hoped Disney would adapt the classic 1930s Floyd Gottfredson comics and show everyone Mickey's true potential, but it's clear that ain't happening.I want to do it myself, and I have many ideas, but I can't really animate, or even draw particularly fast, so short animatics will have to do for now.

Mickey in "Spooky Crate Digging" (animatic)

This animation was drawn on paper and then digitize.

In this short film, the characters were hand-animated and digitized using Adobe Animate and Toon Boom. The goal was to simulate a 1930s animation studio production, but using digital resources.

She told me that tomorrow we are going to take a trip to the fields with my grandparents. "OK," I said. Well, we'll see. Every month we travel to the fields in the countryside just to have a nice day with our grandparents. I really like the fields; it is a silent place to put your thoughts aside and maybe stretch or meditate. When I heard about this, I was excited to go, especially with my grandad. I loved staying with him; he always teaches me cool stuff. Like last year, where he taught me how to make a wooden tent and also taught me how to catch fish. Life here was simple and we were happy. That was until tomorrow, when my mom told me something really tragic. "So, we are going to the fields, but your grandad isn't joining us." "WHY?" I said. "Because… Because… your grandad got a heart attack and passed away," she said while she was sobbing. "WHAT? That can't be…" I said. "It's impossible." I couldn't go to the fields without my grandad. I felt my heart broken from the inside. Then we took the road to the fields. I felt depressed. Now, who would teach me how to make cool things and tell me old trivia? And now he's dead. What's the point of going anyway, you might ask? So, they're hosting my grandad's funeral in the fields. I needed to go; it will be the most important day of my life. That way, I can tell him my final goodbyes. The trip felt long, way too long than it should be. Every mile we crossed, I felt sadder, more depressed. As he was my only best friend in this whole universe, I never had any friends. Everyone likes bullying me for some reason. He was the only one who understood me; he was ME. So, finding out that he's dead just didn't feel right, but I had nothing to do. That's life — people live and die. That's why we need to live the best of it, spend every little second with your family, because you won't be seeing them again. The road went on and on, like it was stretching. It felt like eternity. "Honey, wake up," mom said. I thought we had arrived at the fields, but no — we just stopped at the gas station for a quick rest. I felt devastated. My family went inside to order a quick snack. I didn't have the appetite to eat anything; I just waited in the car. I really wanted to see my grandad one last time in my life. I felt like they took forever to finish ordering. I couldn't wait to go. I saw them exiting the gas station. "FINALLY!" I said. They came back with snacks. "Take some," my sister said while trying to give me a bag of chips. "No thanks," I said. I wasn't that hungry anyway. We took the road, driving our way to the fields — slowly but surely — crossing beautiful landscapes, giant farmlands, and stunning mountains. For a second, I forgot about everything. I was mesmerized by the magnificent views of the wilderness: giant trees, long stretching lakes, and fascinating wildlife. And before I knew it, we finally arrived at the fields. "Oh, here they are!" our grandma shouted while waving her hands. I saw her from far away. When we parked our car, we were greeted by our grandma, but something felt off, like a missing puzzle piece — my grandad was that missing puzzle piece. The trauma hit me again. I instantly remembered everything. I really missed him. I didn't have the chance to see him again. "SNAP OUT OF IT!" my mom said. My grandma led us to the house, where I saw a lot of familiar faces — my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin. "Wanna play something?" he said. "What the hell? Are you SERIOUS? It's a funeral! A FUCKING FUNERAL!" Everyone started staring at me. "Sorry!" I said, but he dragged me away anyway. We went outside in the beautiful sunset, playing soccer and passing the ball. "So, what are you into right now?" my cousin said. "Yeah, nothing, what about you?" I said. "The same," my cousin said. We were kinda just awkwardly passing the ball over and over again with basically no purpose. After passing the ball for about 20 minutes, my mom called me. "Get in here, son," she said. I went to her. "What's the matter, mom?" I said. "Your grandma wants to give you something." She said. I was curious. "What is it?" I said. "Follow me and you'll see." I followed my mom, then I saw my grandmother holding a big can of some sort. "What is this?" I asked. "It's your grandad's time capsule," she said. I was shocked — my grandad's time capsule, that's so COOL! I really wanted to open it. My grandma gave it to me and I started to open it in no time. I found a lot of vintage stuff, like old Star Wars action figures, his old yo-yo that looked SO OLD, old newspapers from the 1970s, and a letter? I picked up the piece of paper. It read: June 23rd, 1982 "Hi there, it's me. I am 15 years old now. I fell in love with this year. I met a lot of new friends and learned a lot of cool new stuff. When I grow up, I will become an engineer, establish a new family, and maybe even meet my grandchildren in the future." I was touched by it. I felt better with this letter. It felt like my grandad was still alive with us. This letter was the cure to my depression and my sadness. I challenged myself to also meet new friends, learn new cool stuff, establish a family, and someday meet my grandchildren in the future. But for now, I just sat down to observe the nature around me. "I wish I could meet you again." THE END

Old commercial from the 1960s (or is it?)

"The other day, I was cleaning out my attic. However, in there, I've soon stumbled across an old, dusty VHS tape. I have no idea where it came from. Maybe it was something the previous owners of the house left behind. So I put the tape into my VHS player, and what was played was interesting... It was an old commercial for a cereal brand called "Generic Cereal", and starred what appeared to be super early versions of Johnnie, Janie, and Wolfin The Wolf from TrouserToons. Was this perhaps one of the earliest appearances of these characters? Did I just discover some lost media? Does the history of these characters really go this far back? Regardless, I've decided to rip the footage from the VHS and upload it online for all to see." Nah, I'm just messing with you XD. However, there's still a story behind this one. A big inspiration for the characters of Johnnie and Janie (and by extension, TrouserToons as a whole) was actually those short animations that would play on TV back in the 50s-70s. Such as those short cartoons that used to be shown on Sesame Street, and even old animated commercials from that time! The old "Trix Rabbit" commercials especially! In fact, I noticed that the earliest Trix Rabbit commercials had the rabbit go up against what appeared the exact same pair of kids, one boy and one girl. Sure, they'd sometimes look slightly different depending on the commercial, they still looked like variations of the same boy and girl designs. I assume by the late 60s, the creators of the commercials figured that it would've been more interesting to have different and unique designs for the kids in every commercial rather than it just be the same boy and girl every time lol. Those original boy and girl characters as well as the boy and girl characters from that old "Egg Chant" sketch from Sesame Street were actually THE inspirations for Johnnie and Janie by the way. No kidding, I designed them after I started imagining what a full series starring a pair of twins who looked like those older characters would be like (I have a weird imagination XD). So, I decided to attempt to make an animation in a "1960s style", parodying the oldest Trix Cereal commercials, complete with redesigns of my characters. Since they were a big inspiration for TrouserToons as a whole, I wanted to see how the series would look like if I tried to fully "commit" to that style. Of course, this probably doesn't look super authentic, but it was still an interesting experiment! I decided to include Wolfin The Wolf as the "Rabbit" stand-in (except here, it isn't just the cereal that he wants to eat!). And I'm actually pretty proud of Wolfin's redesign in particular. So much so that I almost want to make it his permanent design now! Almost. Now that I've done all my rambling, enjoy! XD

HEY! Do you know what day it is today? Funny cartoon animation by Erica Crooks A wild 4-second short cartoon animation by Erica Crooks that’s not only a character asking “HEY! Do you know what day it is today?” but animated in a wild, crazy, trippy, slightly creepy and funny way inspired by 1990s animation styles like Ren &amp; Stimpy and Rocko’s Modern Life.

HEY! Do you know what day it is today?

In December 1980 a series of alleged UFO sightings over Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk sent the British Public into a state of UFO Fever. Frank completely missed all of this until five months later when he gets a visit from a man claiming that an old friend of his has been murdered by her husband who is using a fake alien abduction close to Rendlesham Forest to cover his tracks. This episode contains a montage. I know, I know… but this did happen in the 1980s. Thank you for watching. Frank

Time to give that gray abductor a taste of hard‑tasting justice!

I made this animation as a test to see if it’s possible for a single person to create something with a quality level similar to 1960s Hanna-Barbera action shows, like Space Ghost or Jonny Quest, but with a tone close to a 90s cartoon like Twisted Tales of Felix. It took me six days of full-time work to complete everything except the music, which I recorded the month before. I used Clip Studio Paint for both the animation and compositing, exporting the scenes as 1080p MP4s and assembling them with the soundtrack in Kdenlive. I made the music using a electron model cycles.I'm trying to develop a technique of limited animation capable of appeasing the modern youtube algorithm.X:<a href="https://x.com/inimaginaveis" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://x.com/inimaginaveis</a>Youtube:<a href="https://www.youtube.com/@UnimaginableConsequences" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/@UnimaginableConsequences</a>

This is my part for NGTV Haloween! (<a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1004347">https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1004347</a>) I got the idea for this animation inspired by an old rage comic about a necrophiliac who digs up his dead wife and is driven mad by the sight of her crumbling before his eyes. I was captivated by that comic as a kid, and recently decided to adapt it in my own style, like a lost and cursed PSA. Consider it a kind of sequel of my horror movie about Nene. And yeah... Happy Halloween! Music: Daisy Bell (from 1800s) Art and editing by me.

One gothic hedgehog crushing on Edgy The Hedgie in spanish.

I was planning to create this animatic months ago, but I was either busy or not motivated to do so. The audio is from the Latin American Spanish dub of the 1970s anime Candy Candy. I may be bilingual, but English is my first language, and I'm bad at doing translations for subtitles, so I had a Spanish-speaking friend help me with the subtitles.

The design draws inspiration from 1970s sci-fi aesthetics, blending warm lighting, heavy materials, and dated tech: CRT monitors, reel-to-reel decks, modular panels, and soft cornered architecture. While some assets were taken from libraries, the composition, lighting, and modular kitbash were crafted in Blender, with Substance Painter for texturing and Unreal Engine 5 for real-time rendering.Core environment and layout based on a concept by Fabien Daubet - <a href="https://www.artstation.com/artwork/042xDw" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.artstation.com/artwork/042xDw</a>

Cyanish Ball Pencil Test

A newly discovered lost Skitzo cartoon "Moon Mania" was released in 1922 when the very ideas of rocket fuel began to appear, but the already long-established fantasy of moon travel had taken hold by the late 1800s. Old newspaper records indicate that copies of this cartoon played in various small-town theaters in Florida. Moviegoers of the time died within hours of viewing the film. Notable claims were of feeling their blood literally boiling under the skin, hot flashes, fever, and sunburns all over their bodies when they had not been exposed to outdoor elements of any kind. Mummified remains or piles of ash were all that were recovered from beds and homes...and there is no true head count on how many died in this bizarre event. All copies of Moon Mania were gathered and burned. Animation historians were very lucky to discover this scrap of the film as the reel was discovered in an aluminum box submerged in a container of liquid nitrogen under floorboards in an abandoned planetarium. A hastily scribbled note was inside that stated "Keep it COLD!! Do not expose it for any reason as its heat resonates from no Sun or natural means...but from Hell itself!".---------------------- Skitzo has his own plush toy! :D Check out my web store for more Skitzo goodies like t-shirts, comics and stickers too.<a href="https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&amp;redir_token=QUFFLUhqbFdKVzJ6UzlyU1ItTDl0YWlLbW55TEMtU2VDZ3xBQ3Jtc0tseEF6T0phcS1pRkd6SEhVVGNsYWpUWGtZaFdld19uck5aSWU4Z0NxLUZxTGx6Ymprd2wyQ2ZyWm1KS1F4cWFkZGMyX19JT1BvdHYtNGVPYllWbm9QSVk2ckdqSUFlbTJERVAzYkY0cnNHZmhQbkI5SQ&amp;q=http%3A%2F%2Finthedark.bigcartel.com%2F&amp;v=2VBQZjzFrgU" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://inthedark.bigcartel.com</a> If you enjoy my Skitzo cartoons and would like more, please consider donating to my Patreon:<a href="https://www.patreon.com/c/Comick" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.patreon.com/c/Comick</a> ------------------------- Skitzo the 1920s Killer Bear (c) 2008-2025 Crystal GonzalezAnimated in FlashMusic credits: "Kaiser Friedrich"- United States Marine Band cc: Youtube Audio Library (free to use)

Watch the video to find out! Whatever happened to robot Jones? - The show follows a teenage robot named Robot Jones who attends the fictional suburban Polyneux Middle School in a retrofuturistic 1980s world. In each episode, Robot Jones researches an aspect of human life, which include music, facial hair, gym class, etc. He is guided by his three friends, who go by the nicknames Socks, Mitch, and Cubey. Robot Jones is often smitten with his crush, Shannon Westerburg, a tall, young girl with orthodontic headgear and a prosthesis. An YT Teaser Trailer Version of an experiment project.

INFO: This "TinasheJK Enterprises" Version is only MEANT to be the definitive version of the project for (Exclusively) YouTube release. I have been working on an experimental project call "TinasheJK's Animated Shorts (Remake)" or most appropriately in this YT version call "TinasheJK's Remake Animated Shorts" for the rest of November and December 2024. Those shorts will featured my old (Or before November 2024) animations being remaking from scratch with some twist on them and including new animations which is NOT remake like something 3D's Esque look like shape things.....weird things. I also attempt to get the timing right by studying on the Timing &amp; Spacing Session by Richard Williams (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqqJ0OHjcws&amp;t=964s&amp;pp=ygUpdGltaW5nIHNwYWNpbmcgYW5pbWF0aW9uIHJpY2hhcmQgd2lsbGlhbXM%3D)" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqqJ0OHjcws&amp;t=964s&amp;pp=ygUpdGltaW5nIHNwYWNpbmcgYW5pbWF0aW9uIHJpY2hhcmQgd2lsbGlhbXM%3D)</a>. PLUS, I'm strongly recommended The Animation Survival Kit if you want to improve your craftsmanship on the medium. Google Drive Link:<a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/17m2KjsBWDjkpsBYnjDZ1wV5SpYqr4ds0/view?usp=sharing" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://drive.google.com/file/d/17m2KjsBWDjkpsBYnjDZ1wV5SpYqr4ds0/view?usp=sharing.</a>Initially, it's going to be my final animation of 2024 as "my swan song" with a BANG to conclude "the Transitional Era of TinasheJK" once and for all. (But not really, (?) as I'm also planning to make one more SHORT for December 2024.) About S.V.M: Allow me to introduce my new company (or Unique Brand), call "Saturn Vision Media" (Or S.V.M for short) and it's imply/presented for experimental, sophistication, creativity, stability, innovation, imaginative and ofc vision. It will the experimental company that will be the opposite of those media company who really hit their lowest or "care about money". Initially as the film distributor for TinasheJK Enterprises as planned. I do have future plans to make more under the Saturn Vision Media Brand like "Saturn Vision Media Studios" or "Saturn Vision Media International, Inc" As for the film distribution itself, it's call "Saturn Vision Media Film Distribution Co., Inc" (Or "Saturn Vision Media Distribution, Inc.") and imply exclusively distribution or promotion for my animation shorts &amp; more (Which is done by TinasheJK Enterprises) exclusively for this year (AS A TEST), and it was a dedicated to Buena Vista Film Distribution/Buena Vista from the 1950s. Don't get me starting with my HUGE BEEF towards Modern Hollywood, Modern Movies or those cashgrab sequels that are POOR etc. Like it's really serious when they care about "Quantity over Quality". But for this one, I want to embrace my experimentation, creativity &amp; imaginative to the world &amp; my new company because no matter if is failure or unsuccessful or get rejection or not, I will still keep going or DON'T give up and stick to my parents word. Oh, I almost forget, included me embrace the old aesthetic from the 20th century. - C R E D I T S (Teaser Trailer) - Director &amp; Producer by Tinashe "Titi" J. TinasheJK's Animated Shorts (Remake)

A Sequel to the previous test but with a "Retro Film Technology" Twist

Another Head Turn Animation Test again......But with a Cinematography Twist. Although, IT was honestly very challenged at the time due to using perspective &amp; camera movement more OFTEN in comparison to some complex cuts from The Fighting Practice. But I think it's somewhat execution well. It's also mixing my animation style (With Kazuya Hisada's Esque) and maybe Richard Williams. (Reminder to Modern/Contemporary Audiences who don't know what "VistaVision" is) After I used CinemaScope (20th Century Fox), months prior, Now I'm using The Underrated VistaVision (Developed by Paramount Pictures) back in the Mid 1950s during the time, when Film Industry is getting VIOLATED (Keep in mind, this is After World War II and the End of Classic Hollywood <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studio_system" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Studio System</a>.) by The Rise of Television. As Those Hollywood Studios need to think to how to regain audience to the Big Screen rather than Sliver Screen, this is where Large Format Films become a thing. (Also this is before IMAX) If you want the context of how VistaVision came to be, link in the below:<a href="https://www.studiobinder.com/blog/what-is-vistavision/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.studiobinder.com/blog/what-is-vistavision/</a><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VistaVision" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VistaVision</a><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-_xySGpI-Q&amp;t=4s" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-_xySGpI-Q&amp;t=4s</a> For the "The Very First Animation After 27 Years in VISTAVISION" part. For context, The FINAL Animation who used VistaVision Format (Till Now) is none other than...... <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_End_of_Evangelion" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">The End of Evangelion</a> back in JULY 1997 (Literally, see it on Wiki)and then.....nothing........Kinda Wild that Japanese Animation Industry used this format back in the Late 70s till 1997 (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_VistaVision_films" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_VistaVision_films</a>). So, NO AMERICA OR EUROPEAN ANIMATION NEVER USED THIS FORMAT, just the Japan and that's it. This is actually a response to The Release of "The Brutalist" (2024)and The Upcoming 2025 Film "The Battle of Baktan Cross" who are using VistaVision Technology. Which give me an idea and like "Oh. I gotta get VistaVision back and bring into the Animation Industry" which explain the Two Cut Spit of this animation. One will be VistaVision Cut exclusive on NG and Youtube.....well....it's hidden for now. This not going to be one of those animations...........But instead...."The Rebirth of VistaVision", ☆ Social Media - ソーシャル・メディア ☆ YOUTUBE - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdNkU1va4Lt8OEzmALPhzJw" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdNkU1va4Lt8OEzmALPhzJw</a>TWITTER - <a href="https://twitter.com/TinasheJadius" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://twitter.com/TinasheJadius</a>INSTAGRAM - <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tinashejadius/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.instagram.com/tinashejadius/</a>REDDIT - <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/Tinashekanhukamwe" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.reddit.com/user/Tinashekanhukamwe</a>PIXIV (JAPANESE/ENGRISH) - <a href="https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/78954477" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/78954477</a>New Facebook Page: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61565174920315" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61565174920315</a>NG: <a href="https://tinashejk.newgrounds.com/" rel="nofollow">https://tinashejk.newgrounds.com/</a>Tik Tok - <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@tinashejadius" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.tiktok.com/@tinashejadius</a>Patreon (TBD) - <a href="https://patreon.com/TinasheJKEnterprises?utm_medium=unknown&amp;utm_source=join_link&amp;utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&amp;utm_content=copyLink" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">TinasheJK Enterprises</a> Produced By 『 プロデュース・バイ 』TinasheJK Enterprises (ティナシェJKエンタープライズ –) ©TinasheJK Productions MCMLXVII (MMXXIV)©Paramount Pictures Corporation MCMLXVII (MMXXIV - FAKE) Business Inquiries/Ask Me:<a href="mailto:TinasheJK@Aol.com">TinasheJK@Aol.com</a><a href="mailto:TinasheJadius@outlook.com">TinasheJadius@outlook.com</a>MADE ON UNITED KINGDOM CIRCA. 1967 (2024)

Teaser trailer for upcoming short film "Ilha do Sol"

On an isolated island in the middle of Guanabara Bay, parties took place that were attended by some of the most striking personalities of the 20th century. The hostess of these events, they say, was born from a snake's egg, spoke with animals, emitted an intense light from her body, and hypnotized the paying audience of her dance performances in downtown Rio de Janeiro. There are still mysteries and rumors about who Luz del Fuego really was. But for every Brazilian who has felt oppressed by moralism and injustice, her legacy continues to resonate. Much like the waves that continue to relentlessly crash on the shores of Ilha do Sol. "A Ilha do Sol" is an animated short film financed by the Paulo Gustavo Law of Niterói. With animation direction by Constantin de Tugny, sets and models by Rodrigo Leme, screenplay by Matheus Albano, and production by CIA - Centro de Investigação Artística, the film will tell a version of the story of Luz del Fuego, an activist for environmentalism, feminism, and naturism who graced stages in Rio de Janeiro and around the world during the 1950s. The film is now in pre-production, with a planned release for late 2025, but enjoy a teaser that shows a glimpse of this surreal and fantastic world we've created for "A Ilha do Sol" – a film that seeks to rescue and do justice to the memory of a Brazilian woman who becomes increasingly relevant and necessary with each passing day-- -- --Em uma ilha isolada no meio da Baía de Guanabara, aconteceram festas que contaram com a presença de algumas das personalidades mais marcantes do século XX.

I looked at the pilot I did, then tossed out everything and started fresh; Refined designs and a tighter script, and animation on par with 1950s HB and Jay Ward cartoons. I even licensed the Hanna-Barbera SFX library and hired 3 professional VA's. For the promo I mimicked old 80s cartoon promos, and ran it through an actual VCR. My capture card doesn't like it though so the episodes themselves may or may not have the VHS look, depending on how decent it is.
