Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7 We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/ We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/ We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:

Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.

Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.

Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.

Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.

Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.

Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. HEAD'S UP: The following description is mainly aimed towards people who are familiar with my earlier "TrouserToons" series. So feel free to ignore the description if you're a newcomer (if you are one, then welcome! XD), since you might find it confusing... Greetings, everyone! Here is the official animated test pilot for "The Nuisances"!, aka the planned reboot for my "TrouserToons" series! ("The Nuisances" was actually an old working title I had for TrouserToons during 2023 before I changed it lol). The direction that the series will go in after this point will almost entirely depend on how the test pilot turns out. Although I cannot guarantee that new episodes will come out super soon after the pilot since I'm gonna start college soon and there's still plenty of other things I haven't fully planned yet, so I gotta wait a bit first to decide what I'm gonna do in the future. In fact, don't be surprised if I end up going a super long time without uploads or even become completely inactive because of this. I can't promise anything for sure, but no matter what happens, I'll still be glad that I was able to get at least *something* out related to this rebooted series, even if it isn't much. Also, keep in mind that this is merely a "test" pilot. So It's really just to test out this new art and animation style (heavily inspired by geometric 2000s cartoons like The Powerpuff Girls and The Fairly OddParents), and it's not a super ambitious fully developed first episode or anything. So to keep it simple, the animation only features Johnnie, Janie, Mr. Nesmith, and none of the old TrouserToons side characters for now. And for those familiar with TrouserToons, if you're wondering why Johnnie sounds different than normal, that's because his voice lines here were done by a female friend of mine this time, since I was thinking about giving him a higher pitched, younger sounding voice than before, so for this pilot, I decided to recycle some old voicelines I was given by said friend who tried to audition for Johnnie's voice role back in 2023 (with permission, of course). In fact, dialogue actually originally came from an old unfinished script I tried making for TrouserToons back in 2023, but after I scrapped it, I decided to use lines from the script as audition sample lines (I also ended up meeting Janie's current VA from that exact same open audition, so Janie's voicelines here come from 2023 as well lol). But of course, no one's voice in the reboot (if I end up making more episodes) isn't finalized either. Nothing is finalized, really. Again, this is a TEST animation, nothing concrete lol. Anyways, no matter what ultimately ends up happening, I hope you enjoy the pilot! The Nuisances (2026) - Animated Test Pilot

Shampoo submerges in FOMO because of Snack's new best friend

I've finally finished this thing after ONE MONTH of working on it! I know, I know, it's really short. But for me that's one of the best animations I have done since a long time... :) I feel proud of myself, and I would be happy to share more stories with the same character on other wacky and nonsensical adventures like that one! The "educational" tone of the episode was because it was directed for a school project! I showed this for my entire class, my teacher liked it so much that his showing it to other classes! Someone from my school called it "Disney Quality Animation", that of course it isn't but it made me feel happier anyway. I was kinda of a dork for not recording their reactions with my camera, I was too shy and nervous to do that so I covered my ears and started muttering to my friend. When I opened my eyes again what I saw was everybody enjoying and laughing at it just like I wanted too :)))) If you guys don't know, the Filmmakers is one of the series that participates in a group of animations in a site I'm creating with my friends! I still can't share the site with you, but I hope you guys can enjoy it in the future! :D

Os Filmmakers - FOMO (Subtitled in English)

Here's yet another marathon, usually in most of these, i'd take episodes that are broken in terms of editing in some shots and fix them. But this season thankfully only had one episode that was "broken" which is Genie Meanie, but even then, the minor errors were....well minor, while the writing in these may not be the best, i think i can confidently say that from a technical and visual standpoint, this is my most polished and diverse season yet! ALSO, i included 2 episodes that i never posted here on NG so, yeah. I made some minor tweaks to them so enjoy! Special thanks to Ninesevenpotatoes & Justin W for contributing when it came to some of the voices. You were WAY TOO polite) Right now, since i'm preparing for my high school graduation test and all that, i'm on a break. But I have A LOT of ambitions for Season 6 and it's gonna be the longest one in terms of production since i wanna put more quality in them and i wanna experiment with more styles like these: Cya in the future and thanks for watching!!! I hope you guys enjoyed this animation, i had a lot of fun with it, the story is just a basic sequel and all of my voices are still rough around the edges (I sadly don't have the space or range to improve so, bummer :\) But i still think it's good. This was my first time animating in a lineless style so it took a little bit before i got fully use to it, but i think that this is probably my best looking episode alongside the "claymation" one, expect to see those styles to appear in more episodes! I'm also gonna do a couple of one-off stylistically experimental animations, like i was thinking of making a simple and goofy TF2 "crossover" called "Team Fortress Groove" where it's a blend of 2D & 3D where the 2D characters have 3D shadows and interact with all the characters and objects! I did make a test animation in that type of style so i'm confident that i can pull off something like that, i got a lot of ambitious ideas for this season so stick around. Thanks for watching & cya folks!

An animated sci-fi comedy about a girl turning her spaceship into a noodle stand.

Hey! I'm a former Nickelodeon writer who teamed up with some fellow laid-off Nickelodeon creatives to make INTERGALACTIC NOODLES! It's a sci-fi comedy for all ages in the style of 90s/2000s Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network shows. Pepper, a 13 year-old girl of the future, turns her funky fish-shaped spaceship into Intergalactic Noodles, with dreams of serving up the best bowl of noodles in the galaxy. This is my project dedicated to a very talented Professor WHooves (the character does not belong to me, but here is a different look at the existing WHooves). In this film, I tried to maintain the style of the old animations created on the flash of the early 2000s - 2010s.The project is in Russian. If anyone would like to translate it into English or Latin, please contact me in private messages here on the website (or in the comments under this film). This is a fan short I made based on Metroid series. I made this about two months ago and it was already uploaded on YouTube. Originally, I wanted to make it a story-driven short but I later found some difficulties with that so I decided to go with a commercial style short, inspired from Metroid commercials back in 2000s such as Japanese Zero Mission commercial and American Fusion commercial. You can also watch on YouTube. The title is a reference to both "See you next mission" and "Zero Mission." When I made this, I didn't realize that this year is the 20th anniversary of Metroid: Zero MIssion, the remake of the first game. Also, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has been announced recently as well. A "modern" spin on the 1996 Donkey Kong 64 rap opening.

By trial and error, I found out Super Mario 3D Word’s Fort Fire Bros. theme goes surprisingly well with the Donkey 64 DK Rap . . . once it has been sped up a little. I always felt like the Fort Fire Bros. beat was pretty good to go with some lyrics back when I first played 3D World around a decade ago now? (Wow!) The beginning of Fort Fire Bros. reminds me slightly of Donkey Kong Country's (Super Donkey Kong's) "Island Swing," which is played in the first level of the game. Just like “Island Swing”, Fort Fire Bros, slowly builds as more instruments join into the song and eventually reaches a strong climax where the instruments all break loose. Fort Fire Bros also has some similar rhythms to "Island Swing" making it also feel fitting to mix it with. On top of Fort Fire Bros and the rap tracks, I ended up also mixing Piranha Creeper Creek on top of it as well for some extra "jungle" groove - which may be slightly overkill! Besides the soundtrack for this animation, I had attempted to animate the more "current" generation of the DK Crew. DKC: Tropical Freeze also came out over a decade ago? (What!? Where is DK?) The other Kong in DK64 have sadly been out of the spotlight since Rare was bought in the early 2000s, likely due to them being characters they created :( Sad enough to say, I felt like it made sense to replace them with the most recent recurring characters, Dixie & Funky. Although Tiny, Lanky, and Chunky will not be forgotten! I consider the designs of the DK Crew, Kremlings, and other minor characters to be a more simple, stylized version from their gaming representations. DK in particular, I honed more in on the 1981 Donkey Kong arcade's design for some of DK's face while the rest is most similar to DKC's design. As far as the style of the animation goes, I tried to stress fluid transitions between scenes - if you watch the whole animation through (or even loop it), you will notice there are no cuts. Furthermore, I incorporated a lot of DKC’s platforming design elements in the animation - silhouettes, platforming layers, and vibrant jungle backgrounds full of life. Despite the Super Mario Bros. Movie coming out this year and having the DK Rap song in it was not directly inspired from that - as I had already been working on this prior. However it may have motivated me to complete this a little sooner, believe it or not, haha. Diddy Kong and Funky Kong also released in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Course Pack Wave 6 a week prior to this animation being completed, but all in all the DK series has been pretty quiet. Completionists/scavenger hunt seekers: Because DK64 is one of the biggest Collect-a-Thon games, if not the largest out of any game, I decided to hide a bunch of DK themed collectables / items / animals from the games. Here is a list of what you can find if you want to “101% this animation”:‣ KONG letters (in order of the animation)‣ 9 puzzle pieces + one extra puzzle-looking item from some other special Rare game‣ All of the animal buddies in “Donkey Kong Country” titled games‣ DK Coin‣ Kremkoin‣ Banana CoinGood luck hunting for them all! Early WIP Preview Trailer from my next big game "Daredevil 2"

Im not good with trailers and i know that but i basically tried to create "somewhat" of an early WIP preview trailer from my next bigger upcomming game - Daredevil 2. Daredevil 2 will combine the gameplay from early 80s arcade games like "Berzerk" and "Robotron 2084" with rogue-lite systems from early 2000/2010 indie games. Core of the game will be to survive the hordes of enemies which will spawn in every room, getting into the next room, collecting money to get upgrades and weapons and getting into the boss fights. Some Features will be:

Old school - styled gameplay ala "Berzerk" with a slight "modern touch and twist"

Buyable upgrates like more health, different weapons and more

2 playable characters each with their own special ability

Different, breakable walls

Random rooms which are created viva "chance spawners" - Everytime random. Every. Single. Time.

7 (at least) different enemies

Boss fights

Collectable gold and stat-boosts

Different areas to explore

Hard "Old school" difficulty

The "80s edge" from old games

EVERYthing will hurt you (mostly) - Yes, even the walls

As for now, i duno "WHEN" the game will be finished but i thought i should create a trailer for it. The game is basically now in the "making" since 2020 but i had to put it "on hold" because in the last years, a lot stuff happend to me which were more important (srsly). But yea, it will be, as so far, one of my bigger games i ever worked on. With the Help of the music from Bettogh and Electronic Senses and the sprite-art from Tailbit, im sure it will be at least a fun little timewaster for people which enjoy old-classic styled games with a small poke into the more "modern" games. But remember: What ever you do... ...GET THE SWITCH...

HTTP://WWW.TRASHTROUPE.US .TO/ The Trash Troupe is proud to present another one of our creative endeavors for the Newgrounds website. We spammers are true gods among men. Because we are gods among men, our masterpiece, The John Callahan Collection 2, has been made to appease to you. This flash has been made with the tender loving care only members of the Trash Troupe can use to craft the greatest of flash. Like the Chuggington Collection, this has been crafted in the Trash floor, where only the greatest spam can be crafted. With televisions displaying hawt lolicon hentai and Phil Collins blasting through, our pot-headed spammers can deliver the spam that Newgrounds needs to make people BAWWWWWW and whine and cry about how we are "wasting bandwidth". God damn elitists! This flash is dedicated to that sexy beast known as John Callahan, the "permanently-seated" individual cartoonist known for the raunchiest and most politically-incorrect material known to man. IT IS VERY SEXY SEXY SEXY This is a tribute to him and his comic genius, featuring the Pope dancing, a blind man shooting grafitti, and Pelswick confessing his love to Goon. ITS VERY HOT AND SMELLY! AND NOW, LEARN ABOUT JOHN CALLAHAN COURTESY OF WIKIPEDIA ITS AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN LEARN ON WIKIPEDIA LICENSED UNDER CREATIVE COMMONS ATTRIBUTION SHAREALIKE DERP John Callahan (born 1951 in Portland, Oregon), is a cartoonist, artist, and musician noted for dealing with macabre subjects and physical disabilities. A quadriplegic, Callahan draws his cartoons by clutching a pen between both hands. His visual artistic style is simplistic and often rough, although still legible. It has been likened to that of William Steig, James Thurber, Richard Condie, and Ben Wicks. Callahan's cartoons deal with subjects often considered taboo. His black humor may be exemplified by the title of his "quasi-memoir", Will the Real John Callahan Please Stand Up?. The subject matter and treatment of his cartoons shares something with the work of Charles Addams and Gahan Wilson although it is much more aggressive than even the Playboy cartoons of these cartoonists. Two animated cartoons have been based on Callahan's cartoons: Pelswick, a children's show on Nickelodeon; and Quads, a Canadian-Australian co-production, which retains the violence, joie de vivre and political incorrectness of his cartoons. The main character, who "walked out of a bar, and into a car" as the theme song relates, is a quadriplegic who won a large settlement from the rich driver who ran over him, and lives in a mansion with his buxom girlfriend, gay Australian physical therapist and a cast of fellow handicapees. Their outrageous adventures infuriate the neighbours which include an angry nun, the milquetoast millionaire who originally ran over the main character, and his domineering, Joan Riversesque wife. Callahan's quadriplegia was caused by an automobile accident in 1972 at the age of 21. A proposed biographical movie, with Robin Williams in the title role, was in the planning stages in 2000 but was never produced. John Callahan was adopted as an infant, and had five siblings. As a child, he was molested by a female teacher. He began drinking at the age of fourteen. "I used the alcohol to hide the pain of the abuse," Callahan has said. After the car accident that caused his spinal cord injury, he went through extensive rehabilitation. At the age of 27, he gave up drinking alcohol. He lives in Portland, Oregon. John Callahan is currently working on a nudes and portrait project, shown in several galleries throughout its progression. Callahan is also a songwriter. He released his first CD in 2006. The Independent of London calls his songs "Beautiful, but dark". He writes all the music and lyrics himself and is backed up by many notable musicians. A Dutch film crew recorded the studio sessions in which Callahan plays a simplified piano version of "Roll Away The Day". The album is produced by blues musician Terry Robb, with a special cameo appearance by Tom Waits. VOTE FIV

SuperPope battles a hateful demon in stereotypical Dragon Ball Z style

Please help this anim out by recommending it to the Parody and Religious collections. Thanks for the awards and front page listing!
- - -
I made this Dragon Ball Z quasi-parody back in 2000 for an anime-style Flash contest at TokyoPop.com. The grand prize was $10,000 with a $1,000 prize offered for first place in each of 6 categories. I didn't win the grand prize, but I did win first place in the "fighting" category, so that was cool. Now -- years later -- I'm finally working really hard on episode II (which has painted backgrounds and a much more involved story), so I figured I'd submit this to Newgrounds and try to drum up some interest. Hope you enjoy it! NOTE: If you watched this movie before March 7th, 2006 and thought it was too slow, please watch it again. I fixed some errors that were causing it to perform badly on slower PCs.

I did this video of the song Polkamon, which "Weird Al" Yankovic recorded for Pokemon the Movie 2000. I used to be a big fan of the GameBoy games, so I decided to keep the style of the games in this animation to pay a little homage to the game that kept me up long hours at night.
