The 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. animated!

This animation is a sequel to my very first hand-drawn animation. This time around, I used a Huion drawing tablet instead of drawing with purely a mouse. The quality is quite a bit different . . . maybe I'll need to remake the first at some point . . . Check out the original animation here, if you haven't seen it yet: Super Mario Over the Years! 1 - Unfortunately, you'll have to watch it on YT because I didn't have a NG account back then :( Isn't it technically the 41st now of Super Mario Bros?: Lol, yes - this project is a culmination of short vids I've been putting out during the 40th anniversary across my socials, plus a bunch more! I still wanted to call this an animation for the 40th, as it's the bigger milestone year than the 41st. I also just work slowly, and had a bunch of ideas, causing the release time to continuously get pushed back. Art Direction I've had the thought for quite some time to make a more faithful animation to the Mario series to emulate and honor the stylistic choices of Yōichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. My decision on the art direction also came down to me wanting to "understand the generations of Mario” from its official art standpoint. Furthermore, I wanted to embellish some of Mario's movements, not limited to the games, to give a greater sense of action and adventure! I referenced all types of official cover art, licensed activity books, instruction manuals, classic 80s/90s commercials and other promotional material for the games and time periods. It took way more effort than my past simpler, often rough character animations - but it was totally worth it! For later games in the franchise, including games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey Characters, I choose to fuse the official render designs with the linework used in the manual art in the earlier games. I wanted the animation to have the hand drawn feel, but still have the evolution of Mario's design aimed to hit several of the "key poses" from the Super Mario Bros official art, and “bring them to life” in the animation. In order to execute this idea, I started with several of the key frames as these key poses, with some adjustments (like eye movements, hand placements, or perspective tweaks) to flow with the animation. As far as the backgrounds go, they involve a stylistic approach to Shigehisa Nakaue's work on the fairly consistent Nintendo summer artwork. I tried to simulate this by blending some watercolor texture scans I painted with digital watercolor brushes created in Photoshop to create laying and show a brush stroke on a more rough, coarse paper. The color usage references the internal colors displayed when playing the games on their respective consoles. This challenged me when it came to using a very monochromatic color scheme in Super Mario Land's Birabuto dungeon to quite the opposite of using a wide array of color in Mario's character animation in the Super Mario Odyssey segment. Easter Eggs Woah, you actually read up to this point? Okay, well, I'll let you in on a little secret: this animation is jam packed with a ton of hidden secrets/collectables. Try to spot the following:

Bosses and/or friendly side characters from each game

References to different Nintendo game console generations

5 cherries to give you "invincibility"

2 wonder seeds for a "sense of curiosity"

Franchise game/console codenames

A bunch of coins. Count all of them if you dare and they may reveal some meaningful Mario number lol . . . The following are variations of coins and values associated with them (does their final value mean anything?):

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Regular/Gold Coin - Simply 1 Coin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Red Coin (SM64) - 1 Red Coin = 2 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Blue Coin (SM64) - 1 Blue Coin = 5 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Purple Regional Coin (SMO) - 1 Regional Coin = 2 Coins Credits Music in chronological order:0:00 ~ Super Mario Bros 2. - Ground Theme ~ Super Smash Bros. Maddie's Mega Moo Weight Gain Belly Expansion Animation Preview

My first (uploaded) 3D animation. Mixing 3D with 2D flash animation for the mouths, and using my old CGI style for kind of an FMV look. I was originally gonna make it look more accurate to an FMV cutscene, but I don't know how lol. Also, I had to render this video like 6 times for all the edits and crap, I hated it lol.

A short AFTER EFFECTS animation assigment

Music: Spiedkiks - The day before This short was made for a college assigment where we had to animate a character in a 3D scenario, all of this done with the After Effects tools. It was amazing to make a 2D rig, I am sharing down some pics of the Behind the scenes for this animation:

Idea + Sketch: for this assigment I used an old design I made in 2022 for a X QUEST thing, it has been forever so I gave a proper redesign that follows my current style and character design ideals, I think he looks amazing now

The RIG: Drawign the model and separating the body part was the fun part, the hard part was putting it all in After Effect in order, properly connected, and masked.

However the addon "Duik Angela" made the whole Rigging process so satisfying to do, I even got the chance to experiment with it a little, now his Bucket Helmet was completely 3DIMENSIONAL, If I had more time I wish I could make this rig even more complex

3D SCENARIO: Working on 3D with AE is PAINFUL, specially with these looping objects and camera that just pans out, but the tower was a even bigger pain in my ass, in fact I had to cheat on the second scene because making a 3D cone that spins around only on AE is basically impossible, so that cone is actually a 3D object

Plus this fuckass scene wouldn't render for some reason and it almost made me late for the assigment deadline

I'm aware that many people may not have seen the original Evil Dead movie. And you don't need to have seen it to have some fun in this episode, but there are a lot of references here that are connected to the Evil Dead series. If you want some more context before watching, maybe check out the last edition of the Spooky Zine. ABOUT THE SPOOKY ZINEThe spooky zine is a once a month mini mag that explores some more of the local lore and connects with the episodes and world of voodoo vids in a way that's external to the animation. They are a bit of fun, but also can contain wider context for viewers that want to have some additional context. Or maybe you just want to read more about what's happening in the wider universe. A LOVE LETTER TO EVIL DEADThis episode is a love letter to Evil Dead and nods to the horror classic in certain ways I hope you would find nostalgic and at the same time, perhaps encourage some new people to seek out The Evil dead movies if you haven't seen them. You have to have a passion for old school splatter gore horror. But it's got a great blend of gore and comic styled over the top supernatural elements that are sure to delight, and Bruce Campbell is just brilliant as Ash Williams. I'm super excited to learn that there are rumors Bruce may even return to the movies in some capacity. I know currently Bruce is battling cancer, which is awful news, but as he said himself, "Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch".I along with many fans are wishing him a good battle and hope he gets well soon! I'd love to see him on the big screen in Evil Dead again! Beyond this point there will be episode 4 spoilers so return to read the rest after you've seen the episode. BEHIND THE SCENES OF EPISODE 4This episode took a lot longer to make than the others, I hope that shows and also thank you for your patience. The script went through a few re writes and last minute changes that extended the runtime. Having every character in a single episode comes with more challenges, making sure to give each of them a good scene. But I think it was worth it as if you like any character in particular they are all present in this one. THAT ICONIC INTROIf you are familiar with Evil Dead you will have noticed I did my best to pay homage to the opener from Evil Dead 2 that explains the Necronomicon's origins. Making that was so much fun, animating the front cover of the book, combining it with some stock footage of an ocean that I tinted red, and for the "ink effect" on the page reveals I used some simple track mattes of real ink drop footage to do that. I love how it turned out.I also did the narration in the intro, I rearranged elements of the original script to work better with the set up for this parody. My goal was to allow people who've never heard of, or watched Evil dead to get up to speed as quickly as possible with the idea that "this book is bad news" TECHNICAL STUFFOne of the biggest challenges is creating new environments and props. Something you see on screen for a few seconds in a few shots has had to be created from scratch. Some times I over engineer stuff too and I probably could've made the chainsaw without an actually animated chain... but because I did, It allowed me to get some cool camera angles of it in action. Same can be said for the shotgun that Franklin is using. it is based of the same model they used in Evil Dead 2, the original film Ash used a single barreled Winchester, but the sequel it was a 12 guage double barrel Stevens model, and later in the 3rd movie it was a double barrel Stoeger Coach Gun, which is lovingly referred to now as "The Boomstick"Ash famously saws the barrel off in Evil Dead 2. Of course I needed a forest. Not any easy set to build but I made it easy by cutting a lot of corners, the whole forest set is just a simple plane with a particle system placing tree images randomly across the surface.I made it within an hour and the lighting is doing most of the heavy lifting. which is again fairly simple. I like my renders to not take AGES. Most of the animation scenes take about 4-5 seconds per frame. So the forest was as basic as it needed to be. Paul's date cutaway was another external set that required a suburban feel to it. so I modeled some simple houses and kept camera angles to a minimum and focused only on what I needed. it was a very short scene so keeping the set small was important... but I could probably use it again in future should the need arise.Voodoo Vids itself as a set is the biggest and most detailed because I wanted a space where I can point the camera pretty much anywhere and have a great shot. A lot of time was spent on that, but it still needs work and more will come to the set eventually. Another huge time save has been using multiple cameras within the same scene and swapping between them. traditionally I would've worked on one scene per camera shot, but using Blenders camera marker system I can have multiple cameras that I can cut to whenever I need. so I can animate the whole scene in one blend file. This also makes it easier to alter small parts or fix things in post easier without having to dig through a load of different scene files. MUFFINMuffin the Dog was referenced in the Spooky Zine and fun fact, he is voiced by our own dog Podrick. Recording his various noises is fun. To get his taco crunching sounds we used a Poppadom, he very much enjoys working with us when there's food involved. The next two episodes will probably be a little shorter again too not keep the gaps too long between them. AND for the finale there's going to be another great addition to the page that you can all experience and join in. more on that soon.We may even see some more new characters too!! FINAL NOTEThank you all for watching and a special thanks to Bruce Campbell and Director Sam Raimi for making a bonkers horror franchise that inspires fans and creators still to this day.As for Voodoo Vids please share it if you can, tell people about It! Your support is greatly appreciated with every like, vote, comment. It will be available on youtube next week, right now they remain as Newgrounds exclusives at launch. If you want to know anything else about production or things I've not mentioned here, then please ask. more than happy to answer any questions.See you in the next one! and look out for the next edition of the Spooky Zine for some more info soon!

Voodoo Vids - #4 In Bruce We Trust

3d Baldorf Mask

Whoops, unsure what happened with that last upload. It appears those darn supernatural forces are tampering with my stuff again. Hate it when that happens. Anyways, I gave them some Snickers bars so they should be away for a while. Here's the upload of the episode as originally intended. Gonna copy over the description too. This is the sixth episode of Roasted Meatloaf, originally made in 2023 (though I think production started in 2021 when the fifth episode was being made.) After the efforts put into the previous one, I decided to make this one a bit simpler. Despite that, the methods of production still evolved a bit. This episode moved away from recordMyDesktop for the screen-recorded sequences and instead utilized Deepin Screen Recorder, which at the time I apparently had no idea apparently originates from a Chinese Linux Distribution named Deepin, which was previously based primarily on Ubuntu and Debian. I'm an Ubuntu user myself, so I guess that's why I got it through the software center around that time. The graphics for this episode shifted back into primarily being made using GIMP. However, Inkscape still remained involved, both for reused elements such as the Inkscape version of my character as well as some newly made assets. Jeff returns as a main role, although he has no lines. Alongside Jeff's return to the spotlight, some elements from previous episodes also play a part. Additionally, this episode confirms that Jeff is also called "J. J." sometimes, which I developed upon him theoretically being a "Jeff J." of some kind. I experimented a bit with using 3D Blender graphics within the 2D world for one part. There was a bit of an animation error with it, but apparently I couldn't bother myself to fix it so I just put up a sign on the wall in the previous shot that explains it in-universe. Speaking of Blender, I've decided to pivot from using Clipchamp to make the credits and re-renders for these version to using Blender for those tasks instead. I just sort of felt like pivoting towards a somewhat better way of editing things. However, I did write out the credits in Clipchamp before deciding to switch to Blender, and I had to consult that so I could copy over the text, so Clipchamp is still credited for having some kind of involvement. Oh also the opening logo text slightly changed again for this episode. I guess I kind of had to do that because it opens on a white background so no one could see it if there was no outline, but the addition of an outline will also remain in use for later episodes. That's the bulk of the details behind this episode I guess. Enjoy if you'd like, don't if you'd rather not.

The sixsixsixth episode, now on Newgrounds

UPDATE: This episode has been tampered with by mysterious forces. Click here for the canon version. Nevermind, he just made an account and uploaded the song in the video. Check it out if you wanna, it's pretty damn good! Also, please excuse the lack of lip-movement in the first shot; I made a gif where the character's lips repeatedly opened and closed and Microsoft Clipchamp, being a Microsoft product, just refused to render it correctly. Also also, the 3D sun at the beginning was done by me making a yellow square with a tiny face on it in MS Paint, then going to www.3dgifmaker.com and ticking the option to make the 3d object a sphere, then slowing the gif down and bringing the FPS rate to the absolute max, then ticking the "Trippy" filter to make it look less trippy (lel), before finally making it double-speed in Clipchamp because the sun's face didn't spin into front-view enough times. The corona was done in Clipchamp through the "blur" and "kaleidoscope" filter with half-opacity, with the kaleidoscope being lowest in the "segments" at max speed. ̶A̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶,̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶l̶d̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶b̶e̶f̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶I̶ ̶c̶h̶o̶s̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶u̶p̶l̶o̶a̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶ ̶(̶t̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ ̶D̶i̶s̶c̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶D̶M̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶r̶s̶e̶)̶:̶ ̶"̶o̶f̶c̶ ̶u̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶u̶p̶l̶o̶a̶d̶ ̶i̶t̶,̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶M̶A̶D̶E̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶i̶m̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶i̶d̶m̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶u̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶s̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶l̶o̶l̶"̶ ̶-̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶"̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶c̶u̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶f̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶e̶n̶d̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶ ̶v̶e̶r̶y̶ ̶f̶u̶n̶n̶y̶"̶ ̶(̶s̶p̶o̶i̶l̶e̶r̶s̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶y̶)̶.̶ ̶I̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶h̶o̶u̶l̶d̶'̶v̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶l̶d̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶N̶e̶w̶g̶r̶o̶u̶n̶d̶s̶ ̶a̶c̶c̶o̶u̶n̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶f̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶u̶p̶l̶o̶a̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶ ̶s̶o̶ ̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶a̶c̶t̶u̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶h̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶l̶e̶ ̶s̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶1̶0̶ ̶s̶e̶c̶o̶n̶d̶s̶,̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶-̶ ̶b̶e̶t̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶s̶a̶f̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶n̶ ̶s̶o̶r̶r̶y̶! My Friend and the Clouds

Tho this meant I got stuck in render hell for a while.

This is not an expedition. It's an execution.

Made in 2 days using blender! Song is "Nigthmare Teller" from Melty Blood: Actress Again

The Neco Arc model i've made here was originally made for another animation but i've wanted to test it and this test has streched into this funny short animation! :3 The song playing in the background of this audio is "Nigthmare Teller" from Melty Blood: Actress Again OST. The model of the guitar is not mine, i don't know who made it but i took it from sketchfab here.I've also painted the guitar to make it more appealing and cute (by adding white hearts and paw marks). I also had troubles rendering it because the guitar breaking simulation was throttling the render alot and i had to divide the render into 2 seperate videos and then connect them together into one. The animation was originally made in 50 fps but newgrounds have converted it to either 30 or 60 fps idk why but it could look better.

Neco Arc plays her guitar

Guys, check out this old VHS I found! I remember getting nightmares from this as a kid. This my my part for the NGTV Halloween collab! I tried a lot of different things while making this. I got to thank Valdriks for providing the amazing music for this, it would not even be as half as good without it! I also might post the non-VHS version if I remember. I've wanted to combine 2D and 3D animation for a while now and it was fun! I really liked making environments in blender, and I like how they turned out, even if I basically had bs a lot of what I was doing. The only thing I hated about it was the render times. I also tried out rig animation for the mantis aliens, and you could tell. It's pretty obvious I didn't really know how rigged animation worked when looking at some of the animations. It was also kind of a pain in the butt trying to make them not move so maniacally. I didn't enjoy it as much as hand-drawn, but it was a lot faster to animate so maybe I'll use puppets again in the future. I learned some new compositing techniques while working on this. Usually I just combine my animations with the background and add some sounds, maybe I'd add the occasionally VHS effect if I was feeling fancy. Now that I know how to do some real compositing I'm definitely gonna do more. This was my first real attempt at making horror. Hopefully it turned out okay. I got inspiration from Alien but I thought it'd be interesting if the human was a threat to the aliens instead. I probably could've made said human look more threatening but whatever. Also for those who've been following me for a while, It's the same character from this. Despite all the criticisms I have for this, I'm happy with how it turned out.

The time has come!If I remember correctly, this is my first ever dedicated Halloween post/media 🤔.(Always wanted, never had time 😝 but this year I found some time with the final phases of Mei's Corruption being a lot of render time, I could find some mental load to affect to this) Lara Croft 3D model by Wildeer StudioSound Design and Music by Mathieu HellotLara Croft’s voice by Patapon ANYWAYLet's answer the question right away because this is also and most importantly my first official prod including AI tools 😱!(Yeah I know this is fitting with Halloween because it's a scary subject 😝) I've posted some WIPs of this project for supporters (https://subscribestar.adult/theropedude) including the first version I tested as a proof of concept and a compilation of some of the sections I didn't use in the final puzzling but that I find cool. TLDR : I love playing with this, see you next time 💚. If you have been following me long enough, you may recognize the first image of the video because it was indeed the first image of a full 3D video I crafted back in the days 😊(https://the-rope-dude.com/2024/05/19/lara-breast-tease-01/). But you may also know that I've been playing with AI tools since at least 2023 and I find this kind of tech absolutely amazing. I've tried a few things and failed a lot but now I feel like the time has come to successfully integrate some of these tools in my workflow and therefore, here is the first example that I'm confident enough to call a success 😁.Of course it's not perfect and I'm not perfectly satisfied with everything but I never am and I'm always learning + the tools apparently can't stop to get better and better every 2 months 🤩. I want to share with you how using these tools make me feel (production wise)As a 3D animator I feel like a puppeteer, precisely pulling every string of my puppet to make exactly what I want. I have a lot of detailed control but it takes a lot of time. With AI Tools I feel more like an art or movie director, trying to guide actors in the direction I want and iterating with several takes until I have the "good one".Both have their pros and cons (Mostly control and speed of prod imo) so I'm looking for ways to have the best of each world 😁.Also for example a specific camera movement is a lot easier to do in 3D but animating 6 hands groping and playing realistically with boobies and flesh is a nightmare 😝.(And to quote Kurzgesagt : I want to use AI like the align tool in Adobe Illustrator.)How was it made exactly?Of course this is overly simplified but I may explain more in depth if some people are interested but to summarize the process :- Make an image in Blender.- (Optional) Generate a 3/8 sec video with Wan2.2 (I2V) and take the last image of the video.- Make an image in Blender or Edit the previous one with Qwen/Photoshop/Blender(Control-Nets).- Generate a 3/8 sec video with Wan2.2 (FLF2V with the last frame you just edited)- Repeat- Puzzle everything in DaVinci Resolve to make it as seamless as possible.- Upscale/Upframe with Wan2.2/DaVinci Resolve- Edit/Mask/FX/patchwork in Blender/DaVinci Resolve to improve/refine/hide/modify the things hard to manage otherwise. On that matter I want to give a big thanks and shout-out to IchibanFutsuJin (https://civitai.com/user/IchibanFutsuJin/posts) we share a lot of helpful technical knowledge with each other and he does some of the most creative and amazing uses of these tools I've seen so far 😍. Definitely go check his work! In any case I hope you appreciated this little comeback of Lara Croft and I wish you a great Halloween ^^! Take care 😊💚

This is the 3rd part of the animation MiSide: MiniSized.

Hello everyone~!I made an animation for the 3rd part of MiSide: MiniSized but I can't upload the entirety of it on Youtube so I decided uploaded the full video here. I hope you all enjoy watching it~ Having just left Version 1.15, the Player finds himself suddenly falling high up in the air. Thankfully (and luckily), he landed on the soft chest of Sleepy Mita, which cushioned the fall. Not wanting to disturb her, the Player attempts to leave but as he was about to stand, she suddenly moves her body to a different sleeping position, accidentally making the Player slip inside of her clothes. With the Player trapped between her clothes (and her nipple), will he find a way to get out without waking her up, or just do the riskier move of waking her instead? A bit of a spoiler from here on out (I suggest that you watch the video first before reading anything beyond this point if you haven't already):The reason why it took me a while to do Part 3 is because I decided to make 2D Mita's section a game (of sorts)! I tried to learn most of the basics of RPG Maker this past few months (like watch several tutorials, visit RPG Maker forums for help and stuff) and made my first attempt to create a short game which will be the basis for 2D Mita's part in the story. I figured that this is the perfect way to do her part in the series as well as try out something a bit different from what I used to do.I called it a game of sorts since it's not really a full-fledged game as most of it will be dialogue-heavy (and I wanted it that way since her version in the original story is a Visual Novel) and this "game" is only limited to 2D Mita's sequence (it will return back to the original animation style after the Player leaves her version), but I'll try to incorporate a couple more minigames into it once I was able to complete it.I wanted to surprise everyone by making a short game to make up for the long wait but unfortunately, I still couldn't complete the rest of it in time so the video ended with a cliffhanger, but I'll try my best to finish her part (and the game in full) by next month. Note that the title of the game is not the game's version, but 2D Mita's version (her version wasn't really mentioned in the original story so I just made up a version between 1.15 and 1.0F and decided to name it Version 1.025D, the 25D referencing 2.5D, which is kind of what I'm aiming for when I created the game). As for the graphics, even though it's technically a 2D, I still used 3D models for the in-game scenes since I'm not really that confident when it comes to my drawing skills so I just made a model edit of 2D Mita (as well as the Chibi Player) and still used MMD to render them hence why I considered it as kind of a 2.5D game instead of pure 2D.Anyways, I also made a link to the game (it's sort of a demo since it's still incomplete at this point) for those who are interested in trying it out, though the game also ends as what the animation video showed but I'll still put it here just in case someone wanted to play it or they haven't finished watching 2D Mita's sequence in the animation video. There is also a bit of content/extra scene on the Game Over part when you failed the "Stomping Minigame" with her which I didn't put in the video since Game Overs are non-canon to the overall story anyways. Here is the link to the game: https://mega.nz/file/snk3DRRJ#_5VhFKAWOXccCLl7_XdNWs6Pyu-zUm1hk7nPKIb4VGM I hope you enjoyed the full video and look forward to the full game next month! This was the first time I ever used DaVinci Resolve for a video and oh boy was it an interesting experience. The program is pretty good, I have a fair share of petty complaints but It's still a great alternative to anything adobe has, and it's free! Listen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/0b2zPN0g4CDIk1hh2mMRhO?si=Ow5ZQkr0SCOuqRQv1GvV5Q Only 3D model that I didn't make:"MCTF2 Minigun" (https://skfb.ly/6TXDB) by welormitis licensed under Creative Commons Attribution(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). If you want to read a long angry rant about my problems trying to get this video done then go ahead but I warn you it's not pretty I hate tech issues I need a better pcI think I dealt with rendering issues for almost 8 hours straight when I finished the projectI cannot believe an editing program could be so unreliable when it comes to rendering/exporting, I get that I need a better pc but the issues I was getting were so confusing and isolated that I'm not sure if the solution would be an upgrade on my specsMy project (which btw i've been working on for more than a month) has nothing but image sequences and only one audio track, nothing heavyOnly effects I've used are a chroma key, Camera Shake and some speed changes from time to timebut for some reason it decides to not render specific clips that are one of the most tame and light things on the whole projectAt one point it literally couldn't process a clip that was a STILL IMAGEand the only fix was to pre render on lower qualityand I said "Oh well that must be the fix, I just pre render some heavy stuff so the full render is easier to do" WRONGNow when I find that one clip that is causing trouble for a completely unknown reason and I try to pre render it, it immediately fails. Nothing, it just doesn't wanna do it.When I change the quality and format to .mov it manages to render the clip that is causing problems but then I try to import it into the full project AND IT SAYS MEDIA OFFLINE, EVEN THOUGH I CAN SEE THE MEDIA MYSELF. It has a path, it's there, resolve finds it, I can see it on windows media player, but when it goes into the project it just diesthe worst part is that i find no solution of this anywhere onlinethe only workaround i found was prerendering on .mov then converting that into .mp4, putting that back into davinci resolve and then it's in like a weird state where it technically works but when I try to export, it asks me if I wanna render even with some media being offline, even though later nothing is offline and it looks fineI find it so funny that the project im working on is an animated music video about my pc not working properly and getting revenge on it, and I experienced the one thing i'm trying to portray all throughout this project ok if you've read this far you're cool and you deserve praise
