Episode 5 of season 2 of my lost media animation series. Treat it as a Pilot

Important context:The indestructible man series is a little cartoon series I started working on when I was around 13 years old and learning how to animate (2016), It was a madness combat ripoff. This particular episode you are seeing is actually Episode 5 of chapter 2 (Unstoppable), each season having 7 episodes. The first chapter Indestructible as well as the 4 episodes of chapter 2 (Unstoppable) are complete lost media, since it was animated on a now defunct website called Toonator. Unstoppable 5 on the other hand has been animated on Drawn.digifi.ca a website I moved to in 2019. This cartoon has spent an insane amount of time in development hell. I started working on it in 2021 but right after starting, my computer decided to die and I didn't animate for 2 years. After that I managed to get a laptop but I was busy in general only being able to work on the animation the past year. There were a ton of technical issues relating to the built in animation editor that Drawn has, it simply wasn't powerful enough for what I wanted to do, but the creator of the website actually optimized the editor many times just for this cartoon to exist. I had to hold back A TON with the details such as backgrounds and other details like not adding bullet casings and stuff like that. This thing was animated at 13 fps (to prevent lag) and it was 95% done with my freaking mouse believe it or not. The actual plot of the animation series revolves around Danny, a lowlife criminal that was taken advantage of by one Doctor Kevlar, the brightest mind to ever exist, he gave Danny the N.P.D. (Nano-Power-Drive) a device that makes the user heal so fast you can't even register it, and it also gives the user god strenght, they live in a crime filled excluded region named Craterdome. Episode 5 doesn't show any of the main characters as it's actually a MEANWHILE episode that takes place at the same time as episode 4. This episode being so out of context is kind of a good thing in a way as I can easily modify the context for the first season and improve it since those were just a bunch of random cartoons I made growing up and this gives me the chance to overhaul the whole series. I will animate the next episode, episode 6 of chapter 2 in flash and after episode 7, I will restart form season 1 to catch up with everything, atleast that's the plan, this shit will probably take up to 10 years to recover anyways. So take this pilot as a little taste of the action that is to come. The characters and world are heavily inspired by Krinkel's Madness Combat, you can see a TON of references from weapon sprites to literal sound effect I used form that animation series. I will MOVE ON from making references to that series since I want to turn this into my OWN thing and stop using so much inspiration from madness in general. This cartoon was supposed to have an original OST but I couldn't find somebody to do it for me, so I had to use two tracks from Dusk composed by Andrew Hulshult, I hope it won't blow up the video with copyright somehow but I doubt it. Anyways hope you enjoyed this little cartoon I made and shoutout to the Drawn community for being so supportive of my work over the years, y'all are the best.Songs by Andrew Hulshult:Reflection of Violence:<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVa9B8RPw3Y&amp;list=RDvVa9B8RPw3Y&amp;start_radio=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVa9B8RPw3Y&amp;list=RDvVa9B8RPw3Y&amp;start_radio=1</a>Crypted Chaos:<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WITALqm4Cc&amp;list=RD6WITALqm4Cc&amp;start_radio=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WITALqm4Cc&amp;list=RD6WITALqm4Cc&amp;start_radio=1</a>Join Drawn and become a member of the community if you happen to stumble across this video, you are very welcome here, and you can find more Unstoppable related content on there if it peaked your interest.<a href="https://drawn.digifi.ca/account/SwagTomato" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://drawn.digifi.ca/account/SwagTomato</a>Sound effects from CturiX-Kemilon's dropbox.

UNSTOPPABLE 5: EXTERMINATION (Pilot)

Some doofus asks a YouTuber what sound effect he used at 26:34 in his Playstation 5 video.

Well, I suppose the song/sound effect that Jim "Caddicarus" Caddick used at 26:34 in "The Expensive World of the PS5 Launch" and at 39:45 in "The Legendary World of Spyro Games" won't find itself... Here's the cheese for everybody reading this (including you, Caddy): Way back in Year 9 when I was worse at filmmaking than I am now, I had (and still technically have) a little logo by the name of "Endometrium Entertainment" (Yes, that is the actual name I'd given it). I put this logo after the credits of most of my Media Arts projects (or any short films I made with my school friends during the holidays when we had nothing better to do), and that logo fit the projects as snug as a bug. Fast forward to the current year and I'm an adult who's out of high school and also has a support worker who's worked in the film industry before. The logo I used back in high school is not only just someone else's video put into a letterbox and given a seizure-rainbow filter, but it's also just tacky compared to the stuff I've made today (just ignore the OniLink Please DM Me music video, that is the only thing I've released publicly). I'm making a new logo, with blackjack and a storyboard: <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/596/iu_1596685_28303822.webp" width="764" height="443" alt="iu_1596685_28303822.webp" data-smart-scale="764,443"> ...Alright fine, I lied; it's just a shot-for-shot remake of the "original" logo with some of my own niche interests shoveled in to avoid plagiarism accusations. My mum told me I can't use it on actual professional film projects anyways because of the copyrighted anime poster in the background (apparently, I can't even post it online for the same reason - I suppose they've yet to watch an EmpLemon video), so it doesn't really matter how "original" this vanity card is in the end. At the very least it isn't Amy Schumer's vanity card with the lack of an onscreen name and the... Horrifying imagery in the 3rd logo I won't describe to spare your stomach. Go to avid.wiki and look it up if you gotta, but don't say I didn't warn you... ...Oh wait, this was supposed to be about a sound effect some million-sub YouTuber used in his console launch video. Yeah, so to be able to remake my "Endometrium Entertainment" vanity card from scratch, I'm going to need the two-note stinger sound Caddy used in the clip I "borrowed" for the original logo - a sound Caddy also used in his Spyro video right before the 40-minute mark. I tried Emailing the Caddy-man at first, but since his email is practically business-exclusive, I doubt he will actually respond to what I wrote to him. I've also tried Emailing/DM-ing some people who collaborated with him (including his cameraman Olly), but they have still yet to write back if they ever do. Thus, I'm going to do what all the professionals do and make an internet cartoon about me doing the exact same thing I'd already done before. Hopefully I don't get "BLAMMED!" for putting in someone else's live-action clip at the end, because Newgrounds is the one place I'd especially want to play by the rulebook from tip to toe. I still remember what had happened to 4cat all those years ago... Hey, that rhymed! Anyways, if YOU - yes, YOU want to help me find the sound but don't know what it sounds like (or if you're a Caddicarus fan like I am), then the 2 links below are for the time codes in the PS5 and Spyro videos where that very sound pops up: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrNzgagLJ-w&amp;t=1594s" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">The Expensive World of the PS5 Launch - Caddicarus</a> (26:34) <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brq4waM3JUc&amp;t=2385s" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">The Legendary World of Spyro Games - Caddicarus</a> (39:45) If you wanna see Caddy's other videos, then screw it! Here is his whole YouTube channel while you're at it: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/Caddicarus" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Caddy's channel</a> Okay, that's the 3-embred quota finally met. Now for me to post this cartoon to the World Wide Web and inevitably have nobody see it ever (not even my own friends or family)! I've got 338 characters left until I can give myself 8K characters, might as well delay tonight's sleep even further to the point where I'll have to do an all-nighter and force my brain to eat itself again... Actually, Wednesday is boring enough as is. I might as well spice it up with a LITTLE bit of brain damage. ̶©̶ ̶2̶0̶/̶0̶5̶/̶2̶0̶2̶6̶ ̶E̶n̶d̶o̶m̶e̶t̶r̶i̶u̶m̶ ̶E̶n̶t̶e̶r̶t̶a̶i̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶

MEET THE NEW HEROES

The Hero is back in anime form to kick some butt or something

The Hero is back with another terrible anime!??! Oh gosh no... I can't believe another non-cannon special is back in cartoon form or something. Anyway, in this episode, he goes up against some villains that haven't even been in the live action series yet because funny. Don't worry, they will make their debut in the future as those episodes are in some form of production and/or post-production. This also is its own thing and doesn't do any retelling for older episodes. If you'd like to watch the full, live action series, please check it out here: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYlj--1oywI&amp;list=PLjAAC6H_aB6XoGglN5wo4A1P57YqovbL7" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYlj--1oywI&amp;list=PLjAAC6H_aB6XoGglN5wo4A1P57YqovbL7</a> Real talk, I did this for my storyboarding class and got tired of storyboard pro because it's terrible. Karate Bugs episode 10

For my Group 2 Motion Portfolio project, I wanted to make a title sequence for a series I’m developing called Starshine Platoon. The goal of this animation was to quickly introduce the main protagonists and give a fast-paced glimpse of what the series is all about within 30 seconds. I aimed to capture the attention of people my age who love stylish action cartoons, blending character, energy, and tone into a short but impactful sequence. Some of my inspirations for this project were the intro sequences for Cowboy Bebop and The PowerPuff Girls. My Tik Tok! <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@drawerzay" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.tiktok.com/@drawerzay</a>Other links! <a href="https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&amp;redir_token=QUFFLUhqbDh3NUZJQm1FR29fcXlOWi1pS2duYm03U3REUXxBQ3Jtc0tuY2htdk9tbDVoRFZqbG9qRkxEdXJpZDdhV28zRkJ3cW1IbXJoUy1USHpoLWUyM19vTkY0OEIzak1vd01JRWEtWWlVbXd5bHI5X1VfQzM5WDJUbm9vS2NZV25UNmx4Q1Q3WjctUWU5TUdSME94WDdvSQ&amp;q=https%3A%2F%2Flinktr.ee%2Fdrawerzay&amp;v=xfDqSc-jy9s" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://linktr.ee/drawerzay</a>

So it was like 2023 (yes this took a long time mostly because my day job got in the way and when I'm too tired I just sit and play really long 4x games) and I was getting back into making my own cartoons again. I was talking to a co-worker at my day job about how he would go to a shisha bar with friends and they decided he smoked too much and used that as an excuse to ditch him and the one guy was smoking a cigar. I was like 'ehh lets base it very loosely on the essence of that but do something different to try and push myself before I get to writing my web series 🤡 ' and I came up with this idea of comparing different types of smoking. It wasn't even necessarily meant to be all that straightforwardly funny but as it went and I was desperate to move on to other projects jokes just kind of emerged from going stir crazy or hiding shortcuts because it was taking too long. I actually really enjoyed designing these guys and they're definitely showing up again, the tall guy was not iterated at all and was exactly how I wanted him to look right away. All the voices I just mimicked from other Australian YouTube shit I liked over the years (see if you can guess them!) because they just fit the specific type of dude I was imagining and this was originally not going to be a big thing but something I put out in a few months that wasn't just something I had to throw together for a jam. God I'm so happy this is out of my brain and people can stop asking if I 'still make cartoons?' for a while before I inevitably make a project way too big again. LMAO. Tried some editing tricks I learned doing a lot of live action editing the last few years too and I think I did okay on that front, a few things compositionally that I'd change but that's for next time, there's a point where you just have to finish and move on. I still have a lot to learn about sound design though, I really want future soundscapes to be a lot richer and to really figure out how balancing works. I regret never having the time to do the classes available when I was doing my masters at film school but I had so much editing to do back then I needed all that time to put docos and short films together. Fuck even my description is taking way too long I just kind of lived this thing forever. Got more cool shit planned for the future! Hope you like xoxoxoxoEDIT: DAILY THIRD!? THANK YOU GUYSSO MUCH!

Please consider supporting me! Be sure to subscribe and hit the bell so you don't miss a cartoon! LOVE YOU Time for Episode 3! In the past episode, I touched on how I felt like Kal was a potentially flat character. I felt making Episode 2 that I shouldn't ever write a character I'm not excited to animate or design a cool performance for. Upon finishing said episode I began work on Episode 3 and felt Clair, the Keeper of Visions would fall into the same category; So I completely rewrote her. In my script she was originally entirely different. An old 'shaman-esc' lady. I went to design her visually and decided she wasn't interesting, and I caught myself beginning to phone it in with her development. I stopped and rewrote the character, and I think I ended up with someone much more loveable. I had a blast developing Claire and animating her. Super Turbo Power Punch MAXED is a feature that's being broken up into episodes. Which I am beginning to learn was a stupid decision. The writing has been paced to be watched as a whole. But now I have back-to-back episodes (2 and 3) with NO action and NO tetherball. This result bugs me. Moving forward with my next series my philosophy will be evolving from "a feature being split into episode" to "An episodic series that will be combined into a feature." I think this change will make me much more satisfied with the process of releasing smaller contained videos. As I felt with this episode that I was trying to "just get through this one" so I can work on the next sequence I'm excited for. I plan to get this right at the writing stage as I develop my next series. There's lots I can say about this episode. But honestly almost every aspect falls into the category of how I felt about Kal as a character. The colors, the contrast, the lack of action, the exposition, are all lows from that of Episode 2. I believe this all can be fixed in the sense of how I feel about my philosophy of "not writing things I don't want to animate.." Another psych change I plan on making for the next series. Departing from what I DON'T like, I really love the interaction between Claire and Damian after Kal begins his vision. I love their little conversation as they get a bit more 'real.' I ALSO like Damian's philosophy toward the beginning about how Kal presents himself. Encouraging him to break out of his shell and commit to what he thinks is cool is something I really enjoy. I think that's about all I have to say about Episode 3. I'm REALLY stoked for some of the action I have planned for Episode 4. See you there! Thanks for watching my independent animation! Please consider supporting me! Be sure to subscribe and hit the bell so you don't miss a cartoon! LOVE YOU (I've decided to start chatting about my work in the description moving forward. Have a read if you're interested in my process!) vv Well Episode 2 is here. This is easily my favorite piece of art I've ever created. I had a really good time adding some action shots to an otherwise action-less episode of my work. I really love this high contrast pallet. The crazy bright characters turned out sooo good on the dark corporeal realm court room. I certainly intend to write a script that capitalizes on these sort of visuals for my next project. In this episode we meet Katie Spring. Man did Corgan ever demolish this performance. It was so fun watching her bring Katie to life. The performance is so energetic that it motivated me to do all her over-the-top expressions. originally she wasn't going to be on screen when telling Kal about the Keepers. But the performance was just too good to not have her on the screen. I've tried to not dump a huge amount of exposition in my work. It has sadly led to a lack of understanding from the audience. So in this episode I tried to lay out a lot of what's going on, in addition to preserving some mystery. I have begun writing the script for my NEXT project after STPPM is complete. This storywriting problem is the number one priority moving forward with said script. While I love this episode, I want the exposition and action to be more intertwined moving forward. I got to voice Damian, the Keeper of Radness. This is one of my favorite performances ever. Damian is so fun to perform,. I feel more attached to him than I do playing Kal. I fear Kal is a flat lead character. Which leads me to not be super stoked on the performance, or animation. This is a problem I plan to eradicate when moving on to the next series. I do like Kal. He will be much more meaningfully interesting towards the back end of STPPM. But I simply feel hes outshined by Katie and Damian. I'm excited to write new characters with these self-critiques in mind. I think that's all I have to say about Episode 2 for now. I had so much fun with it. The colors being the big winner, But the performances, stepped animation, and shot composition were all such amazing highlights. Can't wait to for more animation soon!
