This is an emergency message to all invaders. Stay far away from planet Chromus. Milky Way, galactic longitude 317.9°, latitude -42.6°, distance 22.84 kiloparseks. Our colony mission was to retrieve and export a mysterious energy dense element now defined as Chrome Oil. We have abandoned this mission. Chrome oil is an adaptive element that modifies its structure to bond with the substances it comes into contact with.Humanity was excited to exploit thisfunction to create regenerativemedicines, tools, and weapons. Theinsidious spread of progress wasunstoppable. Every inch of Chromusbecame polluted with mutated Chrome Oil.Immortality was achieved, but with nooff switch, no way to control theevolving mass. Sentient human brainmatter bonded with the walls and toolsof our world, and death became a rumor. When somebody dies on Chromus, theysimply melt… as their mind is repairedconstantly, neverending, conscioussuffering. Nobody understands whatChromus has become. We've lost our galactic values… and the only thing we have left to hope for… is mercy. Please… have mercy on yourself, and STAY. AWAY. FROM CHROMUS.

Chromy titty suck method

This is the fifth episode of Roasted Meatloaf, originally made in 2022, marking a three year gap after the previous episode. The original production behind this episode was very complicated, though weirdly this version was much easier to adapt in some respects than the previous episode's adaptation. This episode marked an art shift in the series, relying much more on Inkscape than GIMP. Initially, GIMP wasn't going to be involved at all, but then there were some issues I had to fix that were a bit complicated to fix in Inkscape so I used GIMP to help (I had gotten GIMP back on my computer by this point.) One problem with the art style here in my opinion is that a lot of things don't really have as much texture as they might have had before. It has a more flat feel. Nonetheless, I guess it was good to play around with what Inkscape could do. Both GIMP and Inkscape would continue to be used for later episodes. I did a bit of chroma key/green screen experimentation in this episode. I sort of did that in the previous episode, except not as successfully. I initially wanted to use green screen for the part where Jeff is on the TV in that episode but ultimately I just poorly composited the clip over top of it. In this episode, however, I managed to rather efficiently use green screen to put in two vehicles. Another thing I experimented with were the transition effects available from Pitivi. Only two transitions really appear, but nonetheless they were fun to play with I guess. Characters from previous episodes make some cameos as extras in a crowd, albeit most of them in a redesigned Inkscape form. Some other extras are subtle pastiches of characters from pop culture, although one or two of them were ultimately altered a bit as to not look too similar to what they were referencing. Copyright/right of publicity concerns got to me a little bit again. Speaking of copyright, the only sound I really had to change in this production was the "wee" sound, which, like in the other episodes, was originally a different "wee" sound with a conflicting license. Pretty much all the other sounds were fine. Exporting was a slightly bigger obstacle. Like the previous episode, when I exported through Clipchamp it resulted in some weird graininess in some parts. Again, I had to employ the help of Blender's video editor to get a cleaner result. Pitivi was used for the bulk of original production, but there might have been a bit of OpenShot involvement as well. I decided to include it in the credits just in case. A few different screen recorders were involved in the animation process. One of them was recordMyDesktop, which I had used in the previous episodes, but others included Deepin Screen Recorder, Peek, and VLC's built-in recorder. I think I lost access to recordMyDesktop at some point in production which explains why this occurred. recordMyDesktop would ultimately be retired from usage in later episodes as I moved towards new and better tools for making animation. The card that honors people who have died in recent years originally listed some names of notable people, but I ultimately removed the names because I felt like it wasn't necessary to elevate anyone above everyone else. One extra who appears is based on the Rush drummer Neil Peart, who had died in 2020. Originally he was going to be a pseudo-Force ghost in reference to one tribute I saw that was an edit of a Return of the Jedi frame, but ultimately I decided that might be taken the wrong way and seen as poor taste so instead I made him a guy who plays drums (the sound for which I made using Online Sequencer.) Neil had a mustache at one point so that's why the guy has a mustache; he was sort of a conglomeration of Neil's appearances in life so as to not realistically resemble him too much (due to potential publicity rights concerns.) The WHAT News broadcast also contains a small reference to Rush as another tribute. The WHAT News anchor is voiced by my dad, who is credited under a pseudonym. He also has connections with the band that created the outro song, hence its usage. Well, that's all I'll say for now. Hope you enjoy, but it's okay if you don't.

This was the first time I ever used DaVinci Resolve for a video and oh boy was it an interesting experience. If you want to read a long angry rant about my problems trying to get this video done then go ahead but I warn you it's not pretty I hate tech issues I need a better pcI think I dealt with rendering issues for almost 8 hours straight when I finished the projectI cannot believe an editing program could be so unreliable when it comes to rendering/exporting, I get that I need a better pc but the issues I was getting were so confusing and isolated that I'm not sure if the solution would be an upgrade on my specsMy project (which btw i've been working on for more than a month) has nothing but image sequences and only one audio track, nothing heavyOnly effects I've used are a chroma key, Camera Shake and some speed changes from time to timebut for some reason it decides to not render specific clips that are one of the most tame and light things on the whole projectAt one point it literally couldn't process a clip that was a STILL IMAGEand the only fix was to pre render on lower qualityand I said "Oh well that must be the fix, I just pre render some heavy stuff so the full render is easier to do" WRONGNow when I find that one clip that is causing trouble for a completely unknown reason and I try to pre render it, it immediately fails. Nothing, it just doesn't wanna do it.When I change the quality and format to .mov it manages to render the clip that is causing problems but then I try to import it into the full project AND IT SAYS MEDIA OFFLINE, EVEN THOUGH I CAN SEE THE MEDIA MYSELF. It has a path, it's there, resolve finds it, I can see it on windows media player, but when it goes into the project it just diesthe worst part is that i find no solution of this anywhere onlinethe only workaround i found was prerendering on .mov then converting that into .mp4, putting that back into davinci resolve and then it's in like a weird state where it technically works but when I try to export, it asks me if I wanna render even with some media being offline, even though later nothing is offline and it looks fineI find it so funny that the project im working on is an animated music video about my pc not working properly and getting revenge on it, and I experienced the one thing i'm trying to portray all throughout this project ok if you've read this far you're cool and you deserve praise

So, I went online and referred to the show itself and these two pieces of concept art by character designer Milton Knight. A good lesson in humility. <img src="https://uploads.ungrounded.net/tmp/img/397000/iu_397394_4226168.webp" width="764" height="317" alt="iu_397394_4226168.webp" data-smart-scale="764,317"> I accomplished a good chunk of animation on a livestream, but the stream was struck down because I played episodes of Adventures of Sonic for my friends to watch thinking nothing would come of it. Maybe I should stream on Twitch or Picarto, accounts where I don’t really care whether they live or die. It’s a darn shame because that stream was a lot of fun! DoodleDemon and I started calling each other “blithering buckets of bolts” and watched Robotnik do a Nazi salute and that was absolutely hilarious. <img src="https://uploads.ungrounded.net/tmp/img/397000/iu_397346_4226168.png" width="446" height="708" alt="iu_397346_4226168.png" data-smart-scale="446,708"> The show itself is a lot of fun. It’s stupid fun. Every moment Robotnik is on screen is a good time. Scratch and Grounder are great, as well. The team that worked on it—including Milton Knight, the voice actor Long John Baldry (1940–2005 R.I.P.), and the storyboard artists (including Scott Shaw! From the early Archie Sonic comics)—did a fantastic job given the limitations they worked with. Overall, I definitely prefer SatAM over AoStH, but they are both very different genres of animation. While I was working on this project, Milton Knight leaked on Facebook that Diskotech would be doing an Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog complete series release on Blu-ray and that it would contain new interviews with him. I had hoped that the release would be in HD given that it is Blu-ray and not DVD, but it was very unlikely whoever owned the rights to the show kept the film masters and only kept the master tapes, which inherently have a lower resolution. Later that year, Diskotech officially announced the complete series on Twitter. I am absolutely going to pre-order it. It comes out February 2022. If they ever release the SatAM complete series on Blu-ray (in full HD, knock on wood), I will die a happy man. Now that I think about it, I’m known by all my friends for being a huge Sonic fan, so it’s weird that it took until now for me to make a proper Sonic cartoon. This project started as a gift for MatterBoar. I felt bad that <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/771051">the previous animation I made for him</a> was released in November 2020, 13 months ago, and I hadn’t made any new ones in that time. So I secretly started this one and originally intended to give it to him for free. He asked me if I was available for new animation work and I told him about this side project and he said he’d buy it! The deadline was Christmas Day. The night before, I promised myself I would work on this cartoon until it is 100% ready to release. I thought it would take maybe three hours. It ended up taking 22 hours straight. I only took three hour-long breaks to rest my hands and get a half-hour of sleep. A single cup of hot chocolate coffee got me through it! The thing that took the longest in this particular long stretch was the shot of Robotnik running in place. That took forever! I probably could have done this quicker, but I wanted to make sure each and every frame was cleaned up. I do not envy the animators of the original show. Despite how simple Robotnik’s character design looks, animating him takes a long time, especially compared to Sonic. Robotnik’s mustache and yellow jumpsuit straps in particular were very troublesome, as well as layering the different body parts. The most frustrating thing with Sonic was doing his baby blue highlights. Thankfully, Sonic hardly moves in this cartoon. (That’s kinda uncharacteristic of Sonic, but hey I’m not complaining!) I wanted to add some traditional paint-like motion blur to some of the snappier movements, but due to the deadline—and me just wanting to move on to something new—I could not do it in time. The tight shot of Robotnik’s face at the end was also supposed to be painterly, similar to the gross-out shots in SpongeBob and Ren and Stimpy, but after I took a crack at it in Clip Studio Paint, I couldn’t do it. Also, I felt that a rendered painting of a character wouldn’t fit a parody that tried to match the art style of the original show. Pre-production began in August 2021 and post-production ended on Saturday, December 25th. Normally, a 26-second-long cartoon wouldn’t take that long, but due to a myriad of continuous financial problems and setbacks, it took four months to complete. It probably would have had a better start if I had started by making storyboards. I run-and-gunned this whole cartoon and I definitely regret it. I ended up making last-minute changes to the character poses, facial expressions, etc., which isn’t something you really want to be doing a lot with deadlines involved. You want to make confident decisions in the beginning so that the changes later on will hopefully be few in number. Ordinarily, I would not do this slapdash approach with a commission. But this started out as a gift and turned into a commission later. Regardless, even quick, shoddy storyboards would have gone a long way! Lesson learned. Originally, I was going to commission my friend Dyoudi Mitimasa (<a href="https://epicfunnyhahajokelol.newgrounds.com" rel="nofollow">@epicfunnyhahajokelol</a>) do the background art. He is a natural at this kind of sharp, abstract art style. However, I did not have the money to commission an artist, especially at the time. So instead, I leave you with a huge recommendation to go check out Dyoudi’s art! He’s a wonderful artist and a wonderful person! Additionally, Milton Knight is still an active artist and has a Patreon! <a href="https://www.patreon.com/miltonknight/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Go support him, too!</a> I made this background art by referencing two screenshots from the show, shown in the timelapse video. At first, I was very happy with this art, especially since it was my first real attempt at abstract art. The reference really helped! But once I put it in the cartoon, something was wrong. Robotnik’s design is mostly warm colors. The background is mostly warm colors. I feel this leads to a lot of Robotnik’s movements being less readable than they should. Sonic is fine since he’s blue, orange’s complement. If I had to do the background art again, I would divide the composition into two sections: a cool section for Robotnik and a warm section for Sonic. <iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HgFCB4l9Vv8#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649#ngq:865:649" width="865" height="649" data-smart-scale="865,649"></iframe> CLIENT<a href="https://youtube.com/c/matterboar" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">MatterBoar</a> ANIMATION / BACKGROUND ART / EDITINGAlexander Emenheiser <a href="https://ade-syndicate.newgrounds.com" rel="nofollow">@ade-syndicate</a> BACKGROUND MUSICDr. Robotnik's ThemeComposed by Reed Robbins and Mark SimonCover by <a href="https://youtu.be/j9GpekZhhkI" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Turret 3471</a> Main Title ThemeComposed by Clark GassmanIncludes motifs fromSonic 2 Title Theme and Emerald Hill Zone composed by Masato Nakamura,In the Hall of the Mountain King composed by Edvard Grieg, and Flight of the Bumblebee composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov AUDIO TAKEN FROM<a href="https://youtu.be/1kCWA4gwOT0?t=1391" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">OneyPlays Sonic Robo Blast 2 - FINALE</a>with <a href="https://oney.newgrounds.com" rel="nofollow">@Oney</a>, <a href="https://patreon.com/wanwangames" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ding Dong, and Julian</a>Edited by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/DexTheSwede" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Dex the Swede</a> FONTSPedro SPECIAL THANKS AND PATREON SUPPORTERSAnimation stream viewers, including <a href="https://twitter.com/doodledemon_art" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DoodleDemon</a>, for keeping me company<a href="https://www.patreon.com/miltonknight" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Milton Knight</a> for being nice when I talked to him :)<a href="https://suprdee2.newgrounds.com" rel="nofollow">@SuprDee2</a> for being supportiveand giving me a new version of Toon BoomDyoudi Mitimasa <a href="https://epicfunnyhahajokelol.newgrounds.com" rel="nofollow">@epicfunnyhahajokelol</a> PATREON &amp; KO-FI SUPPORTERSAleahAshleyFroggyDuwudeViktor Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog © SEGA, DIC Entertainment 1993 P.S. — I’m working on a new project right now!
