I had so so so much fun with this project. I'm Genuinely so happy with how the finale turned out. I will leave below another little diary entry about this episode. I understand my pipeline - release infrequency does not please the YouTube algorithm, and I know of strategies I could employ to better my odds. (making smaller, easier projects, animating trending topics, etc) I believe while these strategies would better my chances of getting my art out there, they would make me disappointed in myself as an artist. I've made the conscious decision to take the hard route to make me happy with what I'm doing, even if my work is less publicly 'successful.' Despite knowing all of this, it is still extremely disheartening to spend months and months on an episode, only to release it and see it gain zero traction. So disheartening that it actually had me seriously consider giving up on Super Turbo Power Punch MAXED after episode 2. I am so glad I didn't. I am so glad I finished this series. I believe it to be something truly special to me. But before I get ahead of myself, lets talk about episode 5. This chat may leak into topics across the whole series, as at the time of writing this I just watched the series as a whole, and feelings towards STPPM as a whole certainly are flowing. Kal's redesign was planned in the script. But I didn't actually have a plan for what I wanted him to look like when he became the Keeper of Radness. I waited until I got to Damian's death before modeling Kal. I really like Kals new design. The black belt caused me some headache, but I think the result was worth it. I really like a lot of the dialog between Kal and Korloc in this episode. It's a lot of high inspired confrontational silliness. Stuff I like to imagine Kal picked up across all of his movie watching both in the vision realm and over the course of his childhood. I watched a lot of Kung-fu movies as a child. Which of course was accompanied with all kinds of action movies of all way shapes and forms. Basically everything Jet Li, Fearless, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The One, The Protector, Ong Bak, Matrix,. I could go on and on. Martial arts always attracted my interest as I am a huge action fan. My family means a great deal to me, and while I have always and continue to connect with different members of my family over different things, I spent a great portion of time watching these films with my Dad. My Dad was hugely involved in my childhood and is unquestionably the culprit in injecting an appreciation for kung fu movies into my life. (Hey what do you know, The effect you have on others, eh?) Anyways, kung fu movies hold a special place in my heart, and I thank my dad for that. The shot towards the end of Episode 4 of Kal and Damian watching Kung fu movies in the vision realm reminds me of those days with my dad. huddled in front of the family TV rewinding the VHS to watch the cool fight scene once more. A lot of Kal's kung fu is just him waving his hands around. As though all he did was perceive kung fu fights through TV rather than being trained seriously. Because that's exactly what he did. There was a time when I was a kid I used to think I could be a master just by watching TV. But after just 10 minutes of jumping around doing kung fu in the backyard, it was always easier to just go inside to watch more kung fu and daydream, much like my fellow enthusiast Kal. Kal takes his 'training' much more seriously than I ever did. But the inspiration for his character was a hyper-dramatic version of my younger self. A caricature of the 'I watch kung fu movies I know what im doing' type. The fact we did not see the lessons Kal learned in the movies directly was perhaps a strange choice for the story. It was however a conscious decision for the overall message and theme. We learn from the influences around us. Of those influences, it's our jobs as people to filter and deduce what is worth passing on to others, and what we can let go of. With this in mind, it doesn't matter what specific influences did what to Kal directly. Kal made the decision that of everything he's learned,. Being Rad is whats worth passing on. I feel I could talk all day about the nitty gritty but a lot of it is pretty self-explanatory as to what I was going for, so I leave it to you! I started writing a script for my next project back in August of 2024. I plan to start working on my new project very soon. But fear not, Another action packed story is coming. Thanks again everyone for your patience, and your loving support through my journey. I love you all dearly. Take care.Music: Approaching Black - The Reason, Feint & Laura Brehm - We Won't Be Alone Sounds used: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xK98WuAvjD59vqlHISKKC6TKY4lbjc3r4emgudgnBeI/edit?usp=sharing

Please consider supporting me! Be sure to subscribe and hit the bell so you don't miss a cartoon! LOVE YOU Time for Episode 3! In the past episode, I touched on how I felt like Kal was a potentially flat character. I felt making Episode 2 that I shouldn't ever write a character I'm not excited to animate or design a cool performance for. Upon finishing said episode I began work on Episode 3 and felt Clair, the Keeper of Visions would fall into the same category; So I completely rewrote her. In my script she was originally entirely different. An old 'shaman-esc' lady. I went to design her visually and decided she wasn't interesting, and I caught myself beginning to phone it in with her development. I stopped and rewrote the character, and I think I ended up with someone much more loveable. I had a blast developing Claire and animating her. Super Turbo Power Punch MAXED is a feature that's being broken up into episodes. Which I am beginning to learn was a stupid decision. The writing has been paced to be watched as a whole. But now I have back-to-back episodes (2 and 3) with NO action and NO tetherball. This result bugs me. Moving forward with my next series my philosophy will be evolving from "a feature being split into episode" to "An episodic series that will be combined into a feature." I think this change will make me much more satisfied with the process of releasing smaller contained videos. As I felt with this episode that I was trying to "just get through this one" so I can work on the next sequence I'm excited for. I plan to get this right at the writing stage as I develop my next series. There's lots I can say about this episode. But honestly almost every aspect falls into the category of how I felt about Kal as a character. The colors, the contrast, the lack of action, the exposition, are all lows from that of Episode 2. I believe this all can be fixed in the sense of how I feel about my philosophy of "not writing things I don't want to animate.." Another psych change I plan on making for the next series. Departing from what I DON'T like, I really love the interaction between Claire and Damian after Kal begins his vision. I love their little conversation as they get a bit more 'real.' I ALSO like Damian's philosophy toward the beginning about how Kal presents himself. Encouraging him to break out of his shell and commit to what he thinks is cool is something I really enjoy. I think that's about all I have to say about Episode 3. I'm REALLY stoked for some of the action I have planned for Episode 4. See you there! i did this back in august for some reason. also,

To the sigmas of Australia, I say that this goofy ahh government have been capping. Not just now, but for a long time. A few of you may remember when they said “they’ll be no fanum tax under the government I lead.” They’re capaholics! They’re also yapaholics; they yap non-stop about how their cost of living measures are changing lives for all Australians. Just put the fries in the bag, lil bro. They tell us that they’re locked in on improving the housing situation in this country. They must have brainrot from watching too much Kai Cenat and forgot about their plans to ban social media for kids under fourteen. If that becomes law, you can forgor all about watching Duke Dennis or catching a W with the bros on Fort. Chat, is this prime minister serious? Even though he’s the prime minister of Australia, sometimes it feels like he’s the CEO of Ohio! I would be taking an L if I did not mention the ops, who want to cut WA’s Gyatts and Services tax. The decision voters will be making in a few months time will be between a mid government, a dogwater opposition, or a crossbench that will mog both of them! Though some of you cannot yet vote, I hope when you do, it will be in a more GOATed Australia for a government with more aura. Skibidi.

Big thanks to Euphionia for making the music for this!https://euphioniaofficial.newgrounds.com/ Not that I support domestic abuse or anything but how can I make the attacks look more violent? If I'm being honest, his attacks look somewhat weak. If anyone got some tips let me know. Its difficult to build characters like him. It's simple hard to find a reason for his character and actions. Each reason that I can come up with doesn't seem like enough but then again domestic abuse does happen for the most stupid of reasons in the real world too. So why does he beat her up? Probably because some extreme anger issues, perhaps he just came from work very irritated and the slightest inconvenience will tick him off and he will just take his anger on his wife. Does he even love her? Well, I don't think so. I have this feeling that he only married her to stick it to his twin brother as he was too shy to ask her out sooner. Perhaps there was a lot of resentment so this guy wanted at least one thing that his brother didn't or couldn't have. Overall there are bad decisions everywhere. this is an animation based on this drawing that I made in 2020

OneyPlays Animated: Sassy Sonic

All my animation assignments i had this year

All the animation you see here are forms of animation i was tasked to do. All of these except for the paper baseball animation were done in 2 to 3 hours lol. Some I had fun and some were genuinely difficult. The Silhouette animation and painting on glass was really annoying to work with since both of these forms can have frames that can be ruined by just a simple touch since the painting one was made using some paint and some hydro glycerin which is makes the painting very thin and had to use a towel to erase. SO MANY errors kept happening and i would say that the painting on glass was my weakest one and i had more i wanted to do but i was running out of time and running out of paint. From all of these i kept trying to animate these as if it were 2d animation so getting paint to work with you is seriously difficult even though that wasn't a technique i wasn't actually supposed to do but at the same time i don't really care and i think experimenting like that made my animation more interesting enough. The silhouette animation was done with all parts being single limbed pieces through out the animation so even though i conveyed the fact that he bent his arms to launch himself, all i really did was use the camera to only show half of the arms and covered it just enough to make it look like he bended it. Working with Silhouette animation was especially difficult since all the the parts were actually meant to be stuck together like a puppet using a sort of pin fastener. But i thought it was boring and made the character look stiff so what i did was.. not use it and i feel like i made the character look more alive but GOD it was really annoying to animate, i don't know how i animated that in 2 hours if ill be honest but in the end i liked how it turned out. The Claymation one would've been better to work with had i had more clay to work with. There's a noticeable error in this animation because of a random piece that comes out of the nowhere but i didn't notice it until i got through a certain portion that it wouldn't have been worth it to fix it especially if i didn't have anymore time at the time. i wanted more clay for the exploding part of the head but i didn't have more clay and once i was done my teacher gave me more clay. The paper cut out one was pretty fun to work with and trying to figure out how i should articulate the animation was like a fun puzzle. I would've really liked to make more but as usual i didn't have time. But i feel very happy of how it came out and how paced the frames even if it was just 2 seconds. Oh boy the object one i did with my Gameboy Advance, eraser and coins. so uuuuh i completely forgot that we were supposed to bring objects to animate before we got into class so before I left home i was in a rush but before i left my sister told me we had to do this so in the span of like ten seconds i grabbed anything that would make sense so i ended up grabbing my GBA and handful of coins. I already had that eraser in my backpack. I had a lot of fun figuring out how this animation would turn out subject matter wise and simply figuring how do i get certain frames to look like how they do. So when my GBA opens up it looks fine but getting it to do that was kind of tricky. My GBA automatically closes when its slightly opened unless its at a certain far angle lets like like 100 degrees. so what i did was that i wanted to make my gba to open and to make it look natural. but since the gap of the angle is too much that it would've looked like it opened too fast. So what i did was that i used the coins to actually get me the angles i wanted for certain frames and as you can see in the animation it looks as fine as ever. It's not mind blowing but i felt clever solving that. And everything else in the animation was intuitive. The piece of paper that comes in the end was a essentially a last minute decision as i thought it would've been more interesting if the fight was interrupted rather than it just being straight forward. Overall it was a very fun to animate and i liked my result. (Oh ya and if you're wondering why it says "rated G for everyone" and if you don't know what my character is lets just say she's funny). The paper one was animated using a flipbook. This was the one where I took the opportunity to use as much time to make it. animating this was difficult of course but i was really liking how it was turning out especially when i was rendering the frames. The day i finished this was also the 3rd day i worked on this which ended up lasting for 8 hours as in i ended up going to sleep until like 7am. This was the real deal i wanted to work on and i do want to work in so i tried to do the most i could with this. The intuitiveness behind it was also fun to play around with and overall i had lots of fun even though i was dead tied and the result is good. I already posted this before on here but this one is probably one of the only and best things i could do that its worth putting it in this video. This will be the only 2d animation you'll get to see from me until i get a new pc so i can actually run these damn programs. The final one you see here is an assignment which is again animated in like 2 hours and what it was was that i had to combine two forms of animation and go from there (i also had to provide a story board but haha no). So what could be better than (and Definitely easy to animate...) to animate a silhouette hand by cutting out the frames of the animation..... I'm not doing that, I even ended up stating that at the end of that animation. Not that i wouldn't have wanted i just had like 3 hours to animate, so i ended up making 3 frames (mind you i had messed up trying cut out like 7 hands so before i could get to the process i good portion of it was trying to get this damn hand right. So what I ended up doing was just making him look menacing and used some of my excess cut out pieces and used them for smear frames. As I was animating this i had a lot of fun animating the scissors since the idea itself was making me scoff and laugh as i was animating this and animating the scissors to go faster and faster was fun and entertaining. trying to get the lighting to make the words on the paper visible was annoying though. Overall i had a lot of animating this, i wanted to animate the scissor talking but i was staying too late after class lol. Even though i didn't really like the class itself I really liked animating in general. My passion for animation is still alive and almost all my animations gave my peers a good laugh. I was like drunk being there- no i actually wasn't but i felt like it since i was very nervous seeing them. Oh ya anD THE SCREENING ROOM WASNT WORKING SO WE HAD TO WATCH THEM ALL IN A CLASSROO FU- So ya uuuh thank you to all my friends who gave me a stupid amount of support to getting through this.
