CINEMATIC TRAILER - RE:FRACTIONS - Winter Roses

The 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. animated!

This animation is a sequel to my very first hand-drawn animation. This time around, I used a Huion drawing tablet instead of drawing with purely a mouse. The quality is quite a bit different . . . maybe I'll need to remake the first at some point . . . Check out the original animation here, if you haven't seen it yet: Super Mario Over the Years! 1 - Unfortunately, you'll have to watch it on YT because I didn't have a NG account back then :( Isn't it technically the 41st now of Super Mario Bros?: Lol, yes - this project is a culmination of short vids I've been putting out during the 40th anniversary across my socials, plus a bunch more! I still wanted to call this an animation for the 40th, as it's the bigger milestone year than the 41st. I also just work slowly, and had a bunch of ideas, causing the release time to continuously get pushed back. Art Direction I've had the thought for quite some time to make a more faithful animation to the Mario series to emulate and honor the stylistic choices of Yōichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. My decision on the art direction also came down to me wanting to "understand the generations of Mario” from its official art standpoint. Furthermore, I wanted to embellish some of Mario's movements, not limited to the games, to give a greater sense of action and adventure! I referenced all types of official cover art, licensed activity books, instruction manuals, classic 80s/90s commercials and other promotional material for the games and time periods. It took way more effort than my past simpler, often rough character animations - but it was totally worth it! For later games in the franchise, including games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey Characters, I choose to fuse the official render designs with the linework used in the manual art in the earlier games. I wanted the animation to have the hand drawn feel, but still have the evolution of Mario's design aimed to hit several of the "key poses" from the Super Mario Bros official art, and “bring them to life” in the animation. In order to execute this idea, I started with several of the key frames as these key poses, with some adjustments (like eye movements, hand placements, or perspective tweaks) to flow with the animation. As far as the backgrounds go, they involve a stylistic approach to Shigehisa Nakaue's work on the fairly consistent Nintendo summer artwork. I tried to simulate this by blending some watercolor texture scans I painted with digital watercolor brushes created in Photoshop to create laying and show a brush stroke on a more rough, coarse paper. The color usage references the internal colors displayed when playing the games on their respective consoles. This challenged me when it came to using a very monochromatic color scheme in Super Mario Land's Birabuto dungeon to quite the opposite of using a wide array of color in Mario's character animation in the Super Mario Odyssey segment. Easter Eggs Woah, you actually read up to this point? Okay, well, I'll let you in on a little secret: this animation is jam packed with a ton of hidden secrets/collectables. Try to spot the following:

Bosses and/or friendly side characters from each game

References to different Nintendo game console generations

5 cherries to give you "invincibility"

2 wonder seeds for a "sense of curiosity"

Franchise game/console codenames

A bunch of coins. Count all of them if you dare and they may reveal some meaningful Mario number lol . . . The following are variations of coins and values associated with them (does their final value mean anything?):

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Regular/Gold Coin - Simply 1 Coin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Red Coin (SM64) - 1 Red Coin = 2 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Blue Coin (SM64) - 1 Blue Coin = 5 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Purple Regional Coin (SMO) - 1 Regional Coin = 2 Coins Credits Music in chronological order:0:00 ~ Super Mario Bros 2. - Ground Theme ~ Super Smash Bros. Super Mario Over the Years! 2

Been deep into tryna draw all these different hand poses and close ups for some more in detail expressions but I do still need some work on those. Been thinking again about uploading more animations based on movement and practicing camera work, using less detail and colouring and saving that kind of work for more close up animations like this one!

Bad Hair Day

An older animation in VR! This video is just for posting, as NG has no VR viewer :3

Greetings proxies of the NET! Here is the first VR video made with the best addon I've found on the market for rendering these VR videos, some of you've been eagerly waiting for!I've been searching, editing and fixing all the different VR rendering addons for UE5 to actually render this one alone! This took a lot of time, patience and money—up to 600 dollars—but now this first test video is now available on PH or here in 8k! THE LINK TO NET: as free 4k:https://www.patreon.com/Nescience/posts/ph-vr-upload-166711113?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link or as an 8k file on Patreon here:https://www.patreon.com/Nescience/posts/grasp-of-in-vr-165864047?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link WIP and NEWS🔽🔽🔽 Normally the free version will be on PH, but for now until I figure out what the best settings are for uploading there, I have to post these VR videos through my Patreon. This will be fixed ASAP, though! The whole pain was the addons and how UE5 renders VR videos, but honestly with a few more 'test' videos, I'll know all the kinks to this new part of UE5. WHAT'S TO COME?The next test VR rendering will probably be Fuelpup buttwiggle :) I'll make more Joyboy pictures with the whole new 5 min animation for the VR seated game and VR video in the next weeks to keep posting more regularly! Thank you all for watching and following, your support means the world to me!

OUT NOW - Can I get an Iced Coffee with Breastmilk!?

[MISSING FILE]: by faxeman Music composed in FL Studio Animation made in Krita A short animation made entirely by me. For this animation, I didn't use Flipaclip like the others; I used Krita. For the character design, I had to do many complicated things: for the white character (Whisper), in addition to sketching her poses and expressions on paper, I had to download paper textures to better adapt them to the digital format. For the black character (Nyra), it was easier: I divided the night sky texture and the line art into different layers, and her expressions were more distinct from Whisper's.

This is an animated short based on a fan art comic I made in the early 2000s. I was speculating on how the Pain elemental would gain the ability to spit lost souls, then I noticed there were these skulls and heads impaled on poles, and could be spotted in some levels of the game. The original sprites were gorier, so for this animation I drew clean skulls instead. I’m not updated on the current game lore, so I don’t know if an official explanation for his abilities has been added yet.--------------------------------------------About the animation: It took me more than expected...I was working it by bits during “free time”,I learned a lot!Planning and setting the scenes was easy, it was the inbetweening and clean up process that ate up most of the time X_X, so much that I constantly delayed the video release...and I did cut a lot of corners X_X. I’m not quite satisfied with the flames on the lost souls... I’ll consider new techniques for future animations. I used Clip Studio, Videopad, BlastFX, Audacity,PD howler was used for the creation of some of the mountains, other bits of the background are actual photos of mountains and clouds, and I also drew and painted some of the sky and the floor traditionally with colored pencil and gouache.I used some sound effects from the original game, I used some of the clips to convey the demons’ different emotions (even though they weren’t lore accurate and were originally assigned to different demons) I edited the speed on some of them for extra comedic effects, and some others were made by me (the white noise for “the Mars ambience” which is just a recording of a spinning fan in slow motion, the cracking of the skulls which are originally pecans being crushed, wheezing and sputter sounds, and a frog squishy toy) I crammed as much as I could, and I still have a lot to learn XD. Hopefully it’s a watchable story for you!

An SFM recreation of that JayDaddy video with audio by Alex the Doggo

EXTREME GORE WARNING! An SFM recreation of that JayDaddy video with the audio by Alex the Doggo and a little something extra The amount of custom models in this is insane. This was done purely through experimentation and guesswork using flexes and custom bones on the Left 4 Dead trash bag model, and I am extremely happy that it turned out as something very comfortable and easy (for the most part) to animate with no issues in the final product. Art ACTUALLY rips out of the bag, the bag shakes around like he's inside of it, and the hole actually expands as he rips out. Also, despite all of that, the hardest part to animate was "Gucky"Not because of the mask, or the rig of the model, but because of how precise the movement had to be to look convincing. I spent two weeks on it alone out of the 30 days I spent animating this. The perk of being an autistic unemployed fuck (thanks for the genes, mom!) (no, seriously. Diagnosed in 2005, baby!) is that you have all day to do nothing but animate. I even kept experimenting with re-rigging the bones on the coat to make them move more realistically, but it didn't turn out how I wanted.Notice how GUCKY is in an awkward pose. I wanted him on a better pose, but the rotation looked very unsmooth when I did so and this segways into the next frame better. Also notice the coat's strange dome-like shape. I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Hopefully Postal 4 one day adds physics itself and re-optimizes the model to have it. The model "supports" it "for a future update" that was teased years ago - this pretty much means that its legs and the coat are separate. However, the shirt and coat are fused, so I can't get it as loose as I want, so I've decided to add a belt to future edits, although my last belt edit is totally gone due to a hard drive crash on my secondary workstation. Dude has re-kindled his inner child and loves playing with toys again. The lore I came up with is that Chucky's spirit was transferred into a mask of his own face, and then Chucky put it on and Gary took over his body. Gary can only rest when he kills his killer. Being that this is Postal, the timeline diverges from ours, but nobody in Postal stays dead, either due to psychosis or something from the local military bases, maybe even both. I just know that it smells like shoe polish all the time in this fucking shithole of a city. SO LONG AND GOODNIGHT! Music used: BFG division I'd also like to thank my Autism for making my special interest Postal instead of something cool like trains, computers (it is one, but not THE one), or Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for the Playstation 2. My first animation with an oc and a funny always sunny clip

just got procreate dreams cuz I like procreate and made my first animation since like high school, love always sunny and feel like this audio would fit the character. Although in hindsight I think it fits better with a different oc who actually lived in Philly but oh well. This took about a week on and off but skool does that to youif you’ve seen my previous posts you’ll notice the character was brown but now they’re blue. Not really a spoiler but the character is supposed to be a zombie, his original brown fur didn’t really convey that so I changed it to dark blue to at least give off an abnormal lookI sure hope the audio doesn’t get me killed, it should be fine if it’s like a nine second clip rrrrrrrrrrrrrright

Bidideba MMD (Suisei) performed by the Service Cop in Spore

Gotta make my contribution for Kinktober! I guess he can finally protect and serve >:3c(Note: this is all in Spore)Stills: https://itaku.ee/posts/148071 The Service Cop is the most basic infantry unit of the Cop Slave army. Like the other Cop Slaves, they have their arms and legs amputated and grafted with machinery. The removed limbs are digested by the machine and reabsorbed into their body to enhance the musculature and endurance. These basic units are equipped with basic semi-automatic tranquilizer guns. Their leg stumps are grafted with me biomechanical legs that allows them to traverse ruins and different terrains. The cockring and the sounding tube repurpose their genital into girthy marking devices. Their semenial discharge is especially sticky and carry powerful pheromones that draws in attention from other units. Their main weakness is the string of anal beads lodge in their ass and connected to their spinal cord. This chain of anal beads is the matured form of the larvae born of the Incubator Cop. By tearing it out of the Service Cop, you'd shut down most of their motor functions and leave them paralyzed without wasting ammunition on their tanky reinforced body. Semen extracted from the Service Cops can be used as to draw the Slave Cops attention elsewhere by creating falsed marked targets. So far, no successful removal of the parasitized components could bring them back to normal. Credits:

Song: Bidideba - Suisei

Motion: Taro²

Camera: _1upus_

Here’s a new robot animation I made for a local college art festival!

this animation was inspired by shows such as transformers, Ben 10 and the obscure series The Zeta Project. Honestly robots are one of my favourite things to animate, as they’re very easy to put them in different poses. So yeah I hope you all enjoy!

Environmental Concept Art presenting My Game's atmosphere and exploration.

This is one of many concept art posts for a “spooky” supernatural-themed NSFW Visual Novel Game that I’m planning on doing! The game’s current working title is ESTATE OF THE LATEFor the INTERACTIVE VERSION you must visit the version I posted on MY SITE………………………………………………………………………………………………………… This is just an environmental concept art that is made as two interactive 360 panoramas, so the only way I can post them here is via video. For the interactive version please check out the linked post on my site. Originally the environment was made for the "Game night" concept scene comic, because at this point I want to be a lot more concrete with environments and backgrounds in my concept scene sketches. Then naturally the environment art became an exercise in displaying the personalities of it's inhabitants. Both these Panoramas cover one big room that belongs to Angelica and Dorothy that is divided into 3 parts. Angelica’s side of the RoomI consciously made her side of the room more packed with stuff – she’s definitely is a material girl and a general theme of hers is her values toward “external” stuff that can give her power. Therefore, while she is into magic, I am also trying to illustrate how the quickly growing technology of the 90's was starting to seem like it’s own type of “magic”. Especially if you are rich and can afford the latest and greatest hardware and software at the time. She is also a dork. The whole shelf right of her PC is filled with media – 90’s Strategy games and Point-and-clickers. I hope to maybe have a scene where if you prompt her about her collection of media, you can get her to start gushing about the games that she likes and that are coming up. Dorothy’s side of the Room. She is the more humble one. She is a lot more inwardly focused. So most of the stuff she has is about self-development and not instant gratification. Her interests mainly reside in 2 directions – Art and Fitness (to a point where it seems as if she made up of 2 different people). When it comes to fitness, she is heavily into calisthenics, because she loves maximizing the freedom that her body can do, which is why she has that pullup rack and rope outside her window (that I’ve featured two times in concept drawings) which allows her to B-line straight outside to the river with the alligators. When it comes to art she likes her 90's nu-metal (this universe’s analog for bands like Tool and NIN). Her Room is filled with posters, but I’ll fill them out later. I hope to get some help in making parody versions of IRL nu-metal bands. She does also try to create in the realm of Music, which is why she has a whole guitar set. However, a big theme about her artistic pursuits is that she is not good at them. I would like the estate’s environment to have a lot of signs of her older artistic pursuits like paintings and sculptures that she herself cringes to look at.Middle part of the room...is where they do stuff together, like watch TV play video games have had sex at least ones.I gave them a console that would be older even for 1999 (an equivalent to SNES). My reasoning is that Angelica would have embraced being part of the PC master race, while for Dorothy that would have made it seem like video games have gotten too sophisticated for her to enjoyment.

Girl's Room (Concept Art)

it does well enough, I might even make a bigger more comprehensive animation featuring Vex again, different

Heroes of the Storm - In Battle Tied

An animatic that almost didn't get made, until it did one day!

This is owned by Explosm Entertainment, but I drew and animated everything here! This is an animatic, not the final animation, but if you're interested in how it turned out, click here to watch Cooking For The Boss on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrP22DLphtM Way back in 2018 I was working with Mike Salcedo on a short that was initially called Dinner With The Boss, and it was a hilarious script. The visual gag ideas that Mike and the directors and I were coming up with were really dark but really funny. And in fact, it necessitated so many new backgrounds and assets (like props and the animals and their different poses) that it got shoved deep into the backburner because it was going over budget. Not the first time for that to happen to a short that I worked on- it happens. It happened to Basebird, this, a Bas Rutten parody called Kick Nicholson (which I've been told is creeping toward getting made, but it's been many years and I'm not holding my breath.) And recently it happened to a giant robot short that I was thrilled to work on. Now, the animatic for the giant robot short can be viewed on Explosm's Patreon. I'm sure Kick Nicholson is there too, and Basebird eventually got released. But when Cooking for the Boss finally had the funding to be produced, I was thrilled. The gags still land, they did a great job, everything came out great. Check it out! Debug Mode: Volume 1

Once again, I was the first one to make a battle of Newgrounds vs Youtube. Why has everyone yet to make this before? This holiday is mostly about how awesome Newgrounds is. So what if I do that by shitting on Youtube? Newgrounds is so much better than Youtube. But here's my problem about this Movie before anyone explains it to me. This movie might be a little too hateful for youtube. I mean, that's what I was trying to do. I wanted to be like Garth Ennis. But a lot of people might hate me for this. This holiday is not about what website is better. It’s not about how broken Youtube is and how they treat their creators. It's all about Pico. Pico is cool. We can make Pico anything we want. He and also everything that makes Newgrounds so tremendous and better than Youtube. But it also used to be Tom's birthday, but not anymore. HAPPY LAYE BIRTHDAY! If you didn’t know, in the background, it shows all the things I hate about youtube. Seriously, I really hate what's on the wall. I was going to put SMG4 on the wall, but that would be too mean. I don’t hate his channel, I just stop watching it, because of Mario and Meggy, and the fans ruin the channel for me. I wish there were more things I could add to the wall.I should have put a better MLP thing on the wall because it ruins youtube for me. Good thing it dies down. Flumpty Bumpty and Birthday Boy Blam are technically not Newgrounds characters…YET. But they will be if @JoneBro uploads all the games on this website. I mean, they probably fit really well here and everyone would love them. Hay, @JoneBro, can you please upload the ONAF games here? Not all of them, just one game each week. I’m begging you, people are going to think I’m stupid because of this. CUM ON! Here is why I think Newgrounds is better than Youtube:Age:Newgrounds is one of the oldest websites on the internet, so it has seen shit. From the rise of Facebook and the fall of MySpace.com, Newgrounds was there watching, and laughing. NG is 27 years old. Youtube is 17 years old, that was the same age I was when I was drawing porn. Style:Newgrounds as always had a distinct style. Having a personality of its own. It’s been changed to look a little more simple over the years. EVEN REMOVING THE TANK LOGO! But still, keep the style that it always is. You know what it is when you first see it.Youtube looks okay. It looks simple. But what's the personality? Mascots:Soulless empty hollow shells, selling us crap we don't need, that's the mascot. But not the Mascots on Newgrounds. No. On the Tank logo, The mascot was mostly the tank, then the rider, but soon the Tankman got a personality. Newgrounds have a lot of mascots. Each has its own thing that makes them unique. You can even have some of them and make videos of them. But mostly the mascot for this holiday is Pico.Youtube never had a Mascot. No characters that I would love or make videos of. No real original holidays. (I think).Wait, maybe you are the Mascot of Youtube. Maybe we are the Soulless empty hollow shells, selling crap other people don't need. Maybe I’m the reason why PT was canceled. Maybe Guillermo del toro-AND THAT’S WHY KONAMI IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMING COMPANIES OF ALL TIME! SUB TO COMPLETIONIST. Content:Newgrounds has animated Movies, WEB GAMES (one of the best places for them), music/audio, artworks, AND news/blogs. But it doesn't stop just there. There's a form where people can have Arguments, a chat room like Discord but with no creeps, a radio that plays ONE SONG, a wiki about the website history, and a download page that lets you download wallpapers and flash loaders that haven’t updated since 2012. Hay, I got this NG stop motion opening, so I don’t know, you could put it there if you want. I’m ok with it.Youtube only has videos… that’s it!? ONLY VIDEOS!? YOU: “ It’s a website about watching videos. WHAT ELSE ARE THEY GONNA HAVE!? ” Reviews? Blogs? A shop? (Oh, they have that. Newgrounds used to have a shop, I wonder what happen to it?), I know they have blog posts, but they're just to give quick updates. They now have posted and they work fine. You have to be a little popular to do that.I think there should be a separate page on YouTube for reviews of videos. People would write big video reviews blogs and also have a link to them so people can also watch them. And there could be ads next to the reviews so the writers can make some catch off of their writing. People can put hard work into writing reviews to help creators or views become better…or just make fun of them for giggles. I like to do both.Newgrounds just have more stuff. A lot. People might want less, but can you play games on Youtube? Stuff fillers buttons:Newgrounds has great fillers and Options to customize to find content better. Likes range from content that was made today or years ago. There’s an opinion for sorting it by date, score, or views.Categories from different genres.YouTube has this too, but Newgrounds is more colorful. You know what, Age Rating:Newgrounds has an age rating system that is the same one used for video games. E for Everyone (not only for kids), Teens for Teens, M for Mature audience, and A for Perverts. With this system, the viewer/player will know if it’s appropriate for them before they watch it and their parents can't get mad. So you won’t watch a Pokémon animation about a kid with a brain tumor who stabs it with a knife Unless you want to see it, I do.Inside of a group of people deciding if you work age rating, you can do it yourself. This is a really good System and easy to understand, better the movie ratings. But if you miss the age rating, someone will fix it for you.On YouTube, there is no real rating. There are kids stuff, middle and adult. The kid's rating will get the video to be (MADE FOR KIDS), so the video will not have any comments, no saving the video to watch later, and no MiniPlayer. Are you fucking kidding me? Why the fuck would anyone make videos for kids if stuff like these is convenient!? Kids are not stupid babies, they play Call of Duty. Data is important and that’s why they use it. Who cares about collecting data on children, it’s long and not gonna do anything creepy, it’s not that bad. The government keeps track of us so we don’t do anything illegal. Kids use forks and knives to cut their food, but they can poke their eyes with it, but they won’t. Kids can fall off bikes and get hurt, that’s why they make sure they don’t do that, but if they do, they learn from it and shrug off the pain. I watched cartoons about Mario murdering everyone in the mushroom kingdom when I was younger than 13! I was playing flash games with guns and blood… I miss that.E is not for only kids, it’s for Everyone for every age. You shouldn’t restrict that. And not their adult stuff also called age-restricted content, probably some people would call it, good YouTube videos. This video is a little naughty but for a reason, they get age-restricted which means they won’t get that much money from it. The only rating you can make a decent earning is the middle ground, not too nascent for kids and not too edgy. I know there should be a lament of how far you can go, but videos might be demonetized for the stupidest reason that you did not intend. Youtube should have a rating on the thumbnail so the viewer would know ahead of time. Or the Youtuber could do it di t themselves. But on Newgrounds, they have solutions of tools to look at more movies, games, art, and music. They have an age rating tool that only gives you content with the age rating you want. So you won’t get content that is Rated A. Score Rating:YouTube used to have a score with the buttons, like and dislike, which shows if a video is good or not. This could teach the creator to get good. But now they removed the dislike button and score. Fucking pussy. So a video about hating gay people would only get likes. But if you ask me, it’s actually not that big of a dual that YouTube removed the dislike button. You can still comment your thoughts on the comments until they remove that…FUCKING CUNTS.On Newgrounds, they don’t even have a dislike button or a like button. Inside they have STARS! You can give a game, movie, art, or music a star score from 1 to 10. Not just not a simple thumbs up and down (UP YOUR ASS). You have to think about the score. Youtube used to have a star system, but remove it with a thumbs up and down, and remove the thumbs down. Review vs CommentWhen you make a review on Newgrounds, it will be the first thing you see when you go back to it, so you won’t forget you made it. And you can only make one, so no spamming. Your review will have your score rating for the content.Youtube comments kinda suck. Youtube should be more like Reddit comments. I don’t know if that should be a good thing, but here’s a video that explains this idea better. Also, lets the comments have a dislike number too. And maybe had ads banners in the comments so they could make some money there, so they can pay people to mod them or something. Shitposting:To prevent Newgrounds from being a dumping ground for garbage content like DeviantArt. They have a system called blaming. If a Flash or whatever has too many low scares, it will be removed from Newgrounds. This might sound mean, but it’s a way to save up space. And art and music just get ignored. Youtube, you can upload whatever you want, mostly, but it will never be seen. Even if it’s good, it’s hard to get noticed. How people will view your content. PORTAL:Every time you upload on Newgrounds, it will be at the top of the Portal. It’s where everyone can see anything New on Newgrounds and vote on it. And if it gets more positive votes, it will stayIt’s easy to get views on Newgrounds than on Youtube. How can anyone see your videos if you are new on Youtube? Algorithm:It’s what Youtube think you want, without you even telling them what you want.If the crater is not upleading that much because they're working hard on a new good video, the Algorithm will ignore them and they won’t get views. Copyright:Youtube is not In charge of copyright, it's the owner.I feel they should go a little easy on these creators. On Newgrounds, they advised to not use copyrighted music, but you're not making any money from it, so it's okay. Changes:If your video gets copyright climbed, you can edit out the copyrighted music with something else, but for Animation:Making animation is hard and takes a long time. It’s a fact. No, scratch that, making something GOOD is hard and take’s a long time, like good animation. Newgrounds understand this, you could take as long as you want to make something.Youtube, you need to keep uploading if it’s a real job that helps you pay for food or rent. But there is one thing that makes Newgrounds Superior to Youtube…NEWGROUNDS HAS PORN! Tits, ass, Dicks, and sometimes both in that order, Newgrounds got them. Youtube only has the bar medium on it. You can only do so little or not at all. But if you don’t want to see it, you can turn off the A rating if someone else is in the room. I hope you all enjoy this and happy Pico day. EDIT 5/30/2023Frontpage!? And two trophies!? Thank you, so much!
