Mickey Mouse looks for some spooky vinyl records for Halloween.

Disney isn't making Mickey cartoons we want to see, so I'm seriously considering making our own, albeit with our limited skills. My brother and I drew it, my brother did the voice acting, and I recorded the music. I've had the rough idea for this gag since about 2008, when I was starting to learn a lot more about Disney. Originally it was meant to be a series of Mickey and his friends going on a road trip in the real world, not just some cartoon version of it, and encountering various real life things they wouldn't see in their Disney bubble. It was gonna be called "Realityland". I wrote some rough scripts back then, but they're not very good. I never wrote down this specific gag until this year, which originally was gonna have Goofy instead of Horace. Jumping ahead about 18 years later (geez), Disney is in a much, much stranger place than it was when I came up with the idea. Mickey cartoon series in particular have been a really mixed bag. I've kept hoping that Disney would finally wise up and make Mickey cool again, but they've never quite managed it, despite the potential Epic Mickey promised. (That said, I quite like Roadster Racers and all adjacent series.) As you most likely know by now, Mickey Mouse went public domain a few years ago. So far no one's really done anything significant with the character. For a few years now I've hoped Disney would adapt the classic 1930s Floyd Gottfredson comics and show everyone Mickey's true potential, but it's clear that ain't happening.I want to do it myself, and I have many ideas, but I can't really animate, or even draw particularly fast, so short animatics will have to do for now.

This is a two-parter. Part two will be posted shortly... The music during the credits is a teaser for the next episode. I used "Boots" by Rudyard Kipling thanks to 28 years later haha, and because the recording was in public domain now so convenient and on theme for this project. The opening theme was composed by a friend of mine, while the rest of the background music is licensed under Creative Commons. Full credits are at the end.

A cute little disco dance with chibi versions of Felicity and her son, Jess

Felicity sure loves to dance, so much so that she runs her own night club! As well as a casino, grape juice bar, and a few other things... Being entertainment manager of the Hyde Hotel certainly has it perks! Looks like Felicity brought her little son, Jess, to dance with her on the disco floor tonight! Looks like she decided to keep things appropriate for a change: she's just bobbing up and down, instead of shaking her hips or twerking her fat... yeah, I don't think Jess would want to see that! 😱 Sadly, she couldn't resist the temptation to bring a glass of grape juice with her. 🍷 This substance has an effect on Familians not too different from alcohol on humans... if the crazy girl drinks too much, she may get a bit naughty! Thankfully, Jess is a smart lad, and will surely sneak away to his room when that happens, lol *** Felicity Nuzz Lee and Jess are my OCs and belong to me. Donut steel! Special thanks to Kulakovka for providing the music for this animation. Buzz Bunny... Well, erm... Burns the blunt I supopose.

So this is a bit of an unanticipated upload but the next Screwypilled Tooncels cartoon still isn't complete and I'm trying to relax on my California trip since it's not that long(next time I wanna stay longer for SURE though I love it here) despite me initially wanting to have completed it here so I can say I made a cartoon in California.... I still wanted to deliver something though and I remembered Dirty Soda had a character, Dizzy, from this cartoon. This is my Illustration class project final, originally screened on April 24th of this year. I wanted to use my animation expertise in a classroom full of Graphic Design majors, though the animation is very limited since it wasn't an animation class. It almost looks like Rocky and Bullwinkle at times. But everyone was absolutely howling. I made some changes from the version I showed in class though, you can see that version on YouTube. Namely, I changed the background music to Ghost of Sheperd's Pie by Geoffrey Burch because apparently Happy Go-Lively by Laurie Johnson from the Ren and Stimpy soundtrack isn't public domain/copyright-free despite feeling like it should be tbh, and I didn't find out until after I had made that version. I also got rid of the film grain since that was actually added at the request of my professor when I explained I was parodying old PSA cartoons like One Beer and Sonic Sez, and changed the name to Buzz Bunny Burns The Blunt to differentiate it from the Screwypilled Tooncels One Joint cartoon. Another key difference is that I restored the suicide joke cut from the version I presented in class. But enough yapping, you guys let me know which version you like best. Here's concept art. I initially tried making Buzz look as stupid as fuck as possible. Just look at this idiot: As well as this comic version I made to present to my class alongside the animated version to promote my portfolio site to classmates:

Star Wars 2: The Empire Returns Back Again: A Star Wars Story

I realized I had never uploaded this animation to Newgrounds. Or at least I don't think I did. I made this in 2020 throughout the whole year based on a rough stick figure plan I made in 2017. In 2015 I had made an animation based on A New Hope and that one is not very good. I lost the original thumbnail, it can be found on Youtube. I like this one more in hindsight. All the music is either in the public domain or original to this very cartoon. I'm sorry about the long intro, forgive me.

A silly thing that I created last year. I've been a fan of jazz music and Charlie Parker for a very long time (in fact, before being an animator, my first job was as a jazz drummer), and I created this little piece to honor this passion. Happy coincidence: I've recently learned that, as of January 1st 2026, all of Charlie Parker's solo work is public domain, so even though I couldn't post this video here when I created it last year, now I can :D (the tune in the video is "Be Bop", by the way) In case you wanna watch this on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/U4l5ZFENay4 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/guycxanimation/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@guycxanimationWebsite: https://cargocollective.com/guycharnaux

I made this years ago and never uploaded it here. Haven't tried my hand at animation since, but I'd like to get back into it eventually. Anywho, I came up with a loose premise and let my buddy ad lib all the dialogue. Everything was all hand drawn on paper with ink pens and scanned. Ended up being around 200 sheets. The music was public domain at the time. I’m not sure if any changes have been made in the way of licensing, though the music is so old that I highly doubt it. Hope ya laugh. Thanks for looking. 🤙
