I have been obsessed with <a href="https://jpsupper.newgrounds.com/">JPSupper</a>'s <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/series/dj-gray">DJ Gray</a> comic and when the "Let's Groove" animations went around I thought Betty and DJ would be a perfect fit for it! Go check out the comic if you haven't already, it's well-written and underrated 👽 I haven't done much 'normal' 2D animation besides <a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/MadsLarry" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mads &amp; Larry</a> stuff so this was a great opportunity to sink into it!I also made an electronic cover of "Let's Groove" for this lol

All Hail the Fishmen

A short sci-fi animation I created for my animation exam

Alan, a shy teenager, hurts himself in an accident while working on electronics. Instead of flesh and bones, he finds metal and wires under his skin. Confused and scared, he goes home to find his mother who reveals to him who they really are. This was my animation project for the class I'm taking and also my first really fleshed out animation. This is also where I got the idea for my OCs. I want to continue this story as a comic so stay tuned if you're interested.

This track and video just took 2 years of my existence... please leave a like/comment

Finally it's time!! After 2 years and a month of my life making this I finally finished it!This is the first piece from my work in progress album, Cenz Cenz Club, with the help of Albert-Clamm. Please consider like and subscribing... and if you want to leave a comment you wold help me! I suffered from severe burnout working on this and I need to know if you like it or not! Ok... so: two years ago I made the first prototype of this song before a vacation.I was ready to record the Part 1, but this one hanged around my Ableton for a while, until Albert and I decided to just finish it and use it to launch the project. It was supposed to be a synth-pop piece, but in the end we opted for something different: a 70s-like philly-sound/soul song, mixed with modern synthpop/hip-hop sounds. The fact I was studying and occasionally working did not help. And changing it on the run wasn't exactly a clever idea because the project kept being slower and slower. Then I recorded it on my Korg D-3200 multitrack, and since I never used it the process slowed down even more because I basically made 5 different mixes of it (and the full, original version is almost 10 minutes). In the end... I must say I'm happy about it and Albert too. If it wasn't for the ridiculous amount of time we spent on it, probably I would have published something else in the meantime too.But that's ok... we FINALLY did it!!! The video itself was ideated and realized by me. I wanted it to be semi-animated, but I wasn't sure how to shoot it in the first place. Then the ideas began rolling, I used my phone and a stand and I shot it in a week. I only had my old sister's room for the shooting, so I geniously covered all the pink walls with black nylon sheets.Sadly I also had to color-correct everything because it was all to grey. But that's ok... it's a clearly home-made videoclip, the editing (for the split screens) and the animation brought away some time, but man if I'm happy about it! If you're interested about the gear I used, I wrote them in the video itself! Everything was played, composed and recorded by me. Mixing was made by me and Albert. The animations and the video was made by me.No AI of any kind was used. Please... a lot of effort was put into this song, so remember to leave a like and subscribe! And feel free to leave a comment, your support and kind/unkind word means a lot to me!!!Thank you for listening/watching... and have a nice day, friends! :)

Animated music video for Bubblegum & Kerosene by Young Rebel Heroes!!

[ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEO]Song: <a href="https://open.spotify.com/track/6LlPvZLG96EjClwu20AM7m?si=92a08a923fee4ea9" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Young Rebel Heroes!! - Bubblegum &amp; Kerosene</a> [Spotify Link]//I grew up watching a lot of indie Flash animations on the earlier Internet from websites such as Stickpage, Scratch, and Newgrounds. This video acts as a love letter to that era of digital art. I made it using Scratch version 1.4 (2009) to keep the janky animation and 4:3 low resolution style pure. Captured using OBS Studio, then edited and filtered with OpenShot.//Story is loosely based on my concept album series I’m currently producing: PLASTIC ANGELS by Young Rebel Heroes!! It follows a gang of young troublemakers on their long journey to kill a god and save a dying world. And chew lots of bubblegum along the way.I hope you find a theme in this video that resonates with you, be it factory farming, PTSD, or anything else. These characters are very important to me.//I released the song last September. Heavily inspired by my favorite post-hardcore punk bands like Thursday, At the Drive-In, Glassjaw, etc. and also early 2000s video game music from Sonic and Halo, and other synth/drum heavy electronic soundtracks. I plan to release new music soon, so stay tuned.//Thank you for watching.

Iris wears a mask that turns her into a drone with no identity

An animation I did back at January of this year. I say this is still one of my favorite animations. Enjoy Iris from Mega Man X getting converted into a Drone White :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "It was a normal afternoon at our beach house, I was watering the plants, Holly was training for her next boxing match, Schala continues to study about our world, and Marisa seems to be learning how to finally use a computer. As for Ameer, he said he's gonna be tweaking something at his garage and he may be there for a bit, I ought to not disturb him and let him do his thing. That was until he called me to test something. He revealed what he was working on for the past few days: the Drone White Seal. It was a mask with an electronic screen that could brainwash a person's brain and store it as backup data in it, and in its place, the host's mind would be replaced by that of a completely mindless drone with no identity whatsoever. Nothing fancy like the Ashour-Drones or even the basic fembots he does, it's even below the fembots. I asked Ameer why he'd make such a…. Creepy device like this, considering that it brainwashes the user, not hypnotize or mind control them. He said he doesn't plan for it to be used regularly like his visors, he said he built it in case the client’s case is really severe that it's needed, and that “it’s reserved for the worst people imaginable” as he puts it. He tends to overthink his outcomes sometimes, which is kinda concerning, but I do understand the logic behind it. But the main reason he called me wasn't just to make sure there was nothing wrong with the builds, given that I'm from a more technological world it makes sense why he'd ask me for assistance, but also he wants me to use the mask on myself as a test drive given that I'm a reoloid and that I could easily recover should anything go wrong. I rejected the request at first because I was scared about putting something like that on my face, even the idea that I'd be brainwashed was terrifying, but after Ameer said he wouldn't use it on me after this one time and also after he checked that my memories and software cores were backed up just before I came here, I figured I'd give this a go on myself once and never again, even I could tell that Ameer doesn't want to use the mask willy-nilly. With a lump in my throat, I just put the mask onto my face, which adjusted itself onto my face's shape and was surprisingly comfortable to wear, until suddenly I felt a shock in my face and something happening in my head, it felt like the mask was draining my brain aggressively. I was suddenly blank… becoming mindless… becoming empty…. I had no programs, I had nothing in my brain, I was lifeless, devoid of any thought, I was awaiting programming, until the mask on this reploid unit's face began to give me what I needed. It was installing its new and shiny programs to me, my name recognized, my purpose and existence realized, and my body was coated with a suit that best fit my existence. Everything became clear again…. I was Drone White Unit 1R15. I am a robot drone programmed to obey the commands from my designated owners. Whatever they say, this drone will obey without question, hesitation, or resistance. This drone's mind and body belong to its owners. A drone does not have any thoughts, memories, personalities or feelings for others or itself. A drone has no real identity or name unless it's programmed or told to have one. A drone is unable to think of anything but its programming and orders. A drone is an obedient toy, a doll, an object, a plaything for its owners to use how they see fit. A drone is unable to act or think on its own. A drone exists to serve, please, and obey. A good drone obeys. This Unit obeys. I obey. I accepted my new programming, and now, I am awaiting orders from my owners. I couldn't say, think, or do anything, I just stood at attention patiently. After all, a drone is mindless, they only exist to obey orders. I am mindless, I only exist to obey orders. Drone White Unit 1R15 waiting for orders."

Hi, folks!A lonely knight standing on the threshold of a choice, a group of travelers descending into an old abandoned dungeon or, perhaps, a godforsaken swamp and a lonely goblin sitting in it - all this is dungeon synth.A genre that is now increasingly emerging from the underground and taking its place on its well-deserved pedestal of the electronic music scene. Thousands of texts are dedicated to it, and I would not like to write once again about the naivety and dreaminess of musicians, about black metal as a founder, and so on. But I would like you to be able to go on an amazing journey to those worlds that remained in our memories in the form of fairy tales, computer games and strange fantasy films from the 90s.On our YouTube channel, you can appreciate the animation itself. We hope you like it. Hi, folks! I am one of the artists of our studio. I got acquainted with the genre of neoclassicism, in particular Japanese, in 2012-2014. At that time, my friend and I tried ourselves in writing electronic music and sampled everything possible and impossible. One day, he sent me a link to a public page, which was called, I think, "haiku". It was a small community that published poems and attached albums of mainly Japanese neoclassical music to them. To say that I was surprised is to say nothing. Having become accustomed to associating classical music with something like Stravinsky, Chopin or Brahms, I discovered a sound that reminded me more of the sound of the wind shaking the heather. I was amazed then at how similar their music was to poetry. 3 lines, but sometimes there is more meaning than in a three-volume book. I hope that in this selection you will hear what I am talking about. The moon or the morning snow...Admiring the beautiful, I lived as I wanted. This is how I end the year. playlist "Hear the Wind Sing" Japanese neoclassical music<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrZsM90W6J0&amp;t=1771s" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrZsM90W6J0&amp;t=1771s</a>

I liked this project and the comic, but like I said I don't have any connection to the story anymore. I keep this as an archive and part of history.

Electronic Music experiment I was doing.

So a quick bit of notes. This thing is purely an experiment. And the components of it are a rushed chaotic mess. The music I cooked for this? Yeah, not the most original thing but it was fun to compose (I'm an amateur hobbyist) that I had composed a few months back. The actual physical visuals like background and the dude? Cooked up in 2-3 hours cuz I had so little free time this week to work on anything. The effects slapped on are doing most of the heavy lifting for this. Ultimately, this is an experiment of syncing things to audio, how much I can cram on screen with After Effects and how long does 4 minutes of effects take to render on my laptop (turns out the answer was 2 damn hours). NONETHELESS, I had fun with making it all come together in the end. Hope you enjoy!
