A cartoon I made for my enviornmental science final

For my environmental science class we were instructed to make a PSA about an environmental effects. I chose to make a short cartoon about cars. This is my first time animating in 30 FPS, but also when I'm finally comfortable working with a gajillion layers Music: Legend - Disasterpiece (FEZ OST)The Battle of Award 42 - Pascal Michael Stiefel (A Hat in Time OST)Revival - Yuka Tsujiyoko (Paper Mario 64 OST)Cover of Back to the Future theme by afliXion

A rock, that talks! How whimsical! What on Earth would it say?

This is the beginning of a series I have planned. The Rock itself is hand-drawn, and the visual effect of its facial orifices glowing when it talks was manually edited with key frames using a light ray effect in Final Cut Express. The background landscapes are my photography, and the fire animations were made in Blender. I also did the sound design, music, and voice acting.

A proof-of-concept film about a telephone operator in space

The following showcase is a proof-of-concept trailer: The year is 2X99. LILY LANDLINE, a communications intern for a space agency called GAL-X, is sent on a mission to guide a cadet across planet Venus. On top of navigating the environmental challenges that Venus—the most hazardous planet in our solar system—has to offer, Lily is also tasked with answering every call from viewers watching at home... Unsure if Newgrounds is the place to post something like this, but I hope viewers can appreciate the short for what it is and will look forward to what I make in the future. :J

An animation of my bunny girl riding a slime

I have a small concept in my head and I will be working on getting it out of my system through animation. Here's a bigger blurb that wouldn't fit in that page I really need to come up with a better name than The Dungeon haha but it's whatever for now. Slimes are a common enemy in The Dungeon and can be found at any level of exploration, any biome although its appearance may differ depending on what it has consumed thus far. It is a creature that envelops itself in a gelatinous substance in order to protect its fragile core. Its only care in the world is to consume and grow in order to protect itself. More often than not a slime will remain at its primary stage as it cannot procure enough materials or minerals in a timely manner in order to evolve, but the ones that stumble upon differing types of lucky finds (forgotten storages, defeated adventurers that carry many different types of ingredients, treasure chests, etc) are able to use the excess minerals in order to create a new shape for themselves. The shape they evolve to be is not consistent and it depends on many factors such as what they’ve eaten, environmental traits and obstacles etc but they all consume in the same way as illustrated below. One consistent thing is the way that they consume. For example, a mace lodged in a slime from an adventurer that succumbed to the slime's attacks. The slime will use the next few days, sometimes weeks, to dissolve the mace in the weak acid found within the gelatine. The slime can speed up the process by moving its body and agitating the object to create more friction between it and its “flesh”, however this takes a tremendous amount of energy and most slimes prefer to go about their business, letting their protection take care of the process

The Dungeon - Slimes

an isometric scene of a retro futuristic frutiger aero solar punk device

I recommend watching on fullscreen and with headphones 大家好！Hola! This is a hydroform node, made for terraforming extraterrestrial planets, a planet is bombarded with ice and water meteors to then get heated up and form clouds, a hydroform node takes the formed clouds and converts them into liquid water while distilling and purifying it from other vaporized chemicals mixed in the air, then the prepared water gets pumped out to different places of the planet. The fish is a bioindicator organism, if the fish survives the water is biologically safe, colonists use these as environmental diagnostics. for the overall design I got inspired by Frutiger aero aesthetics, and solar punk concepts for the conceptualization. I thought the result is something you would find in terraria, so i composed the soundtrack a bit like terraria's making it a pixel art Frutiger aero-solar punk mix style. I wanted to get a liminal feeling, or nostalgic feeling, I'm not sure how i got it but i did, to get it i deliberately let some elements of the composition feel off or odd, as in liminal spaces, something that has to do with the lightning, the only thing that casts shadows on this scene are the suctioned clouds and they only cast shadows within themselves, the rest is composition, for example the shadow casted by the device is actually a transparent cube, the shadows casted on the grass by the unimplied clouds are shaders, nothing casts shadows because almost every object's material has emission turned on The process i like using blender for creating 2d like stuff, playing with shaders and programming animations with geometry nodes, so a rough quick sketch took me a few hours and i got this: Then i started conceptualizing and using my references. at first i wanted to make it look as an infinite water body rendered within the boundaries of a cube but it looked as normal water but i ignored that. i used geometry nodes and the shader editor for the water, noise texture for the displacement (using geonodes) and i animated a voronoid texture for the water texturing, The caustics are a voronoid texture on a plane, also seen over the fish. animating the text was easy, i wanted it to look like a converged human language from the future, i used a font called stray (i think this font is from that game also called stray, never played it). I animated it arranging different texts and glitched versions in a 2d image, then animated the texture coordinates of the plane what will have the text.the pipes are transporting water, thats all, it may look weird but it is just moving water. i used geometry nodes for that animation specifically using a waves texture for scaling the pipe across a spline curve.the grass is just 4d noise texture setting the position of each vertex overtime.i didnt know how to make it loop perfectly so i leaved it as so. made only with blender (except the text texture, it was made using Photopea)As for the music, i wanted it to sound nostalgic and chill, i tried to get as close as the visual feeling i had at that time making the scene, So i chose the Mixolydian scale becase of the bVII, and 9th chords, a slow pace rhythm and sounds akin to the style (lofi old school frutiger, chiptune) i produced it with FL studio The sound effects are some folley, others are sounds i found in the internet and some i did with synthesizers The blend file is all yours to explore! Some other arts i've done (mostly with blender) 3D geometry dash sphere spider animated by bboybeat on Newgrounds I also make music; some of these are like the one of this animation! bboybeat's Audio. I have a Fiverr gig for music composition, no orders yet, but it exists Compose unique and immersive video game music by Just_cristopher | Fiverr. PATO MAYBE PATO (2024) | Argentinian Animated Short Film

Environmental Concept Art presenting My Game's atmosphere and exploration.

This is one of many concept art posts for a “spooky” supernatural-themed NSFW Visual Novel Game that I’m planning on doing! The game’s current working title is ESTATE OF THE LATEFor the INTERACTIVE VERSION you must visit the version I posted on MY SITE………………………………………………………………………………………………………… This is just an environmental concept art that is made as two interactive 360 panoramas, so the only way I can post them here is via video. For the interactive version please check out the linked post on my site. Originally the environment was made for the "Game night" concept scene comic, because at this point I want to be a lot more concrete with environments and backgrounds in my concept scene sketches. Then naturally the environment art became an exercise in displaying the personalities of it's inhabitants. Both these Panoramas cover one big room that belongs to Angelica and Dorothy that is divided into 3 parts. Angelica’s side of the RoomI consciously made her side of the room more packed with stuff – she’s definitely is a material girl and a general theme of hers is her values toward “external” stuff that can give her power. Therefore, while she is into magic, I am also trying to illustrate how the quickly growing technology of the 90's was starting to seem like it’s own type of “magic”. Especially if you are rich and can afford the latest and greatest hardware and software at the time. She is also a dork. The whole shelf right of her PC is filled with media – 90’s Strategy games and Point-and-clickers. I hope to maybe have a scene where if you prompt her about her collection of media, you can get her to start gushing about the games that she likes and that are coming up. Dorothy’s side of the Room. She is the more humble one. She is a lot more inwardly focused. So most of the stuff she has is about self-development and not instant gratification. Her interests mainly reside in 2 directions – Art and Fitness (to a point where it seems as if she made up of 2 different people). When it comes to fitness, she is heavily into calisthenics, because she loves maximizing the freedom that her body can do, which is why she has that pullup rack and rope outside her window (that I’ve featured two times in concept drawings) which allows her to B-line straight outside to the river with the alligators. When it comes to art she likes her 90's nu-metal (this universe’s analog for bands like Tool and NIN). Her Room is filled with posters, but I’ll fill them out later. I hope to get some help in making parody versions of IRL nu-metal bands. She does also try to create in the realm of Music, which is why she has a whole guitar set. However, a big theme about her artistic pursuits is that she is not good at them. I would like the estate’s environment to have a lot of signs of her older artistic pursuits like paintings and sculptures that she herself cringes to look at.Middle part of the room...is where they do stuff together, like watch TV play video games have had sex at least ones.I gave them a console that would be older even for 1999 (an equivalent to SNES). My reasoning is that Angelica would have embraced being part of the PC master race, while for Dorothy that would have made it seem like video games have gotten too sophisticated for her to enjoyment.
