Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7 We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/ We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/ We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. These games established an artistic vision that largely inspired Stage 2. We also thank Patrick Majewski for permission to include The Mud Vile from Monster Basement as part of this film.Credit: https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/ We thank Igor Stravinsky for The Rite of Spring. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:

Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.

Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.

Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.

Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.

Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.

Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. Conquer The Foe

Hi guys! This is my first post at NewGrounds, and I honestly have no idea what I'm doing XD. I usually post in instagram with the user name MothWings.the, but desided to make a NewGrounds account as well just for the hell of it. Naah but actually, I wanted to start posting here because I hate main stream social media, and I'd rather post somewhere not so sucky yucky. Also about this animation. All the models you see in this animation, are made by me, as well as the animation, sound effects and even music too. I made this back in july simply just to spend some time. That was back when I just got employed as an Animator and 3D Artist for a game studio and I was super exited. Before that, I was supposedly applying to a university of applied sciences to study game development some more, but I ended up rejecting the idea, for you don't really need university level studies to be a damn indie game dev, so I just started looking for a job instead :DDDD Expect more of these types of animations from me in the future!

an animation made for fun several years ago

Hi, this is an animation I made three years ago just for fun. The person in the video is my friend Giuseppe, known as Peppe. I involved several friends in the making of this animation; I am quite satisfied with the final result, though I would probably do a better job of it today. I hope you can appreciate it :)You can find me on Instagram: Burcei_Dude

Suffering from a lack of creative direction, I decided to make a movie. I had no idea so much went into what seemed a simple thing. 2 years later I have self-learned script-writing, directing, video & sound editing, doing that along with character and environment design, modeling and animating. It’s frustratingly slow, extremely intimating, but a true creative joy. Check it out and hope you like it! Funky song I made. DANCE WITH ME, BROTHERS.

Small looped song I made for a rant about my job I'm working on. Visuals were made in blender by messing with texture coordinates of an Image I made. Since apparently any art that is weird nowadays is called ai here's a pic of my work with the image set up.

The Worker Drone machine

So here it is. After months of work, I've managed to re-animate an ENTIRE episode of Tom and Jerry with Deltarune characters. This is based on my favorite T&J episode, "Heavenly Puss". After making Tennis Chumps last year, I dove straight into making this, and I'm happy to see it finally finished. Massive thanks to NayumiDayo for recreating the entire soundtrack in chiptune form. Really fits the Crustfuck aesthetic of the animation. (Seriously, they've cooked so hard.) Making this animation has been seriously tough so hope you enjoy it. I do hope to make more stuff like this in the future, but uh, considering my finances, that might need to take a backseat for a bit. EDIT: The "My finances are ruined" thing is not a joke, and I'm actually kinda fucked right now. What didn't help was the video was copyrighted on Youtube, so the video kinda flopped. I'm in a situation where I have no choice but to ask for help. If you liked the video, consider supporting me on Ko-Fi. You can also get a commission off of me on Ko-Fi too. Cats of Tottenham S3 EP2 is a web series about burn out, capitalism and feminism

Cats of Tottenham is a lo-fi web series by Ellie Bradford and Will Stuart. It follows four women—Susan, Emily, Karen, and Jane—who all live in a tiny house share in Tottenham (North London, UK). However, they’ve been turned into gross cats by a scammer online. Their mission? TO CHANGE THE WORLD by fighting evil, etc.—billionaires!HOWEVER, they realise they need money to pay rent and buy food, so all their time gets eaten up working at the Asda supermarket on Tottenham High Rd! IN THIS EPISODE:ASDA Tottenham is under new management. Jane doubts Emily's commitment to changing the world. Susan reports on an extraordinary event taking place in New York. Karen gets a pet fish. Please leave a comment! We will be going through the comments and replying to them on another YouTube video! So please leave a comment and lemme know what you think of the show! A little about the show: Cats of Tottenham is an artwork disguised as a sitcom. It follows four women who are scammed online by a man who offers them a strange spell: the chance to become a man, an animal, or a baby. They choose to become grotesque, unconvincing cats chaotic and a little tragic. Their choice is partly absurd, partly a way of “reversing evolution” to replace men with a new species. Each cat embodies a different aspect of myself: power-hungry, hopeless, impulsive, or quietly depressed. Like any sitcom, nothing really changes. The project began when I was burnt out, broke, and living in a damp Tottenham flat, working a minimum-wage care job after being diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. I needed an escape, so I built one using whatever was available: broken dolls, chewing-gum prosthetics, makeshift sets, and the cheapest gear I could afford. The result was deliberately chaotic feminist but messy, emotional, loud, and illogical.

EPISODE 03 - SPIDERMARIO (Final-Cut's)

A whole movie made by me and a few friends!

After Stealing some plutonium, SKINNY MAN is now able to power his masterpiece, The DOOMSDAY, which can destroy entire cities and take over the world. FATMAN and Pretzel boy find out about this and take off to Area 57 to get help in destroying it! The FATMAN Movie is a feature length Australian animated film created and directed by Saxon135 for Comic Bros. The film released on September 7th, 2025. it features the voices of Ashkan Firouzmandi as FATMAN and Harvey Kane as Pretzel Boy. It is the first film to be released by Comic Bros. Hi everyone, I am so proud to finally publish my very first movie! this has been an overly ambitious project that has been in the works since April 2024! and while it is not as long as I wanted it to be, I am still very pleased with the finished product. compared to the FATMAN episodes, the colour and animation have improved a ton! I especially loved playing around with the lighting that is seen in the explosions and lasers, as you could not do that on the DS. I hope you enjoy this movie too, and I really hope that this achievement allows me to make even more animated content for you guys! If this gets featured on NewGrounds then I would be very grateful for that! Make sure to like, share, comment, and hype the video! [Stonemason's Note] Oi, we’ve got a job fixing up the damn cathedral. Some hole in the wall, or so they say. Thing is, we ain’t even finished that abbey gig yet,so we’re short on hands.Gonna need to borrow some of your lot. Figure we can bleed the Order dry on stone costsand line our pockets while we’re at it. After that, we head north.Closer to the capital—ought to be a bit easier up there, yeah? But listen, someone’s been bustin’ up the Holy Order’s property on purpose.I mean, sure, those priestly bloodsuckers piss me off too,but what’s anyone got to gain from trashin’ their junk?Don’t tell me it’s that “Lux Sancta” bunch screwin’ around. This ain’t your handiwork, is it, Royden?

Hi, folks!Existential questions (joke) regularly arise in the music space, like "was there a Russian rock", "wasn't it just total theft", etc. We believe that even though acts of theft were possible, this does not mean that our scene has become "unlistenable" because of this. It would be foolish to deny the influence of people like Fedorov, Letov, Bashlachev and many others on the formation of unique artists who write poetry and music today, which amazes with its otherness and forms an amazing scene of post-Soviet rock, and not only rock, space.Today's selection is dedicated to the mirror into which we often look before going to bed, on a winter evening in a tram or, perhaps, on the last day of summer on the river bank.On our YouTube channel, you can appreciate the animation itself. We hope you like it.
