Short loop of the titular Focaccia Showing off her moves.

Focaccia, the formidable game dealer of the notorious medieval resort of Castle Caliburn, heads down to Club Caracala, to try out their newly installed "Dance Dance Centurion" machine, much to the astonishment and rivalrous dismay of the gladiator-dressed attendees. Assets created in Affinity and Photopea, assembled and animated in Cavalry. Song is the Eurobeat track "Don't Let Me Down" by Madison.

After over a month without a TrouserToons episode, here's a new one! This episode also features David's cuckoo clock bird, Luco! Like "The Do-Gooders", this episode is also based on a super old concept I came up with in 2023. And I actually wrote a plot outline for it that time. However, that version was actually a lot more ambitious than this one as it involved the clock traveling all across the city, among other things. It also didn't feature Luco at all, funnily enough. But for this episode, I ended up simplifying the plot by quite a bit so it doesn't become a nightmare for me to animate. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the finished episode! Pushing the boundaries of 3D combat with a 2.5D anime-inspired aesthetic. This project was an exercise in Body Mechanics and Cinematic Camera Choreography. I avoided the standard "smooth" 3D look in favor of punchy, key-pose-driven animation to capture that high-energy anime "Sakuga" feel.Technical Highlights:

Hybrid Workflow: Blending 3D volume with 2D timing and spacing.

Camera Tricks: Utilized opposing-motion parallax to enhance the weight and speed of impacts without relying on the graph editor.

Custom Assets: All character designs and the neon arena environment were built to support high-readability silhouettes.

Aiming for a mainstream production feel rather than just previz. Would love to hear your thoughts on the weight of the shield impacts!Software: Blender

After a two minute wait... here is part 2/episode 2. I hope you enjoy as much as we loved making it. I REALLY hope everybody enjoyed working on it... I enjoyed writing it. Derek said he had fun... there were no "Why did you make me do this?!" messages, so I think everyone enjoyed it. But still, did you? Did you love it so much that you just absolutely cannot wait to watch the next episode and just wish that you could create a time machine and blast to the future where we release the next? Good. This won't work for every release of ours, but luckily, we have the full volume complete and ready for your review on the youtube! But still.. please come back and watch it here when it comes out, we'll probably include new text in this spot. :) Dippy Saves the World - Ep 3 - After bugs massacre the audience, the show must go on! ((Full season Cast & Crew))Mike Weiner (Sgt.
