An art collab to commemorate Skylanders' 15th anniversary!

Happy 15th anniversary to the Skylanders series! At first, I thought that this collab would flop since I went without a single submission for a bit. Thankfully I was wrong since I ended up with 21 submissions with one of them being from Blackrhinoranger (an OG in the Skylanders fanbase, words cannot describe how happy I was when I saw his submission). Thank you to everyone who's worked on the franchise and thank you to everyone who submitted art for the collab.

I'm finally happy with all the audio and the edits themselves. It took some time after fixing some of the fluid shading mistakes and re-rendering up to 20-30 scenes for the longest version alone (plus 3 edits for the SFW version longest and the free version). But here it is! I hope you all enjoy it!Please write me a comment for any feedback or if you notice something wrong, I'll see to it ASAP!Thank you all so much for watching and I hope you all have a great day! If you want to support me, here is the link to the longer 4k version on Patreon or watch it maybe once on PH! PH: https://pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=6ac18a60d5749Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Nescience/posts/final-artifical-171265905?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link Behind-the-scenes:Animation itself was pretty early finished as you saw in the WIP and the sneakpeak, but editing was just really cumbersome as I honestly tried to perfect it as the end product is the most you all will see. That's also why I put most of the best shots in the free version with additional shots for the longer 4k version on Patreon. In my opinion, for this animation the flow of editing from the shots and camera pans were pretty compromised by the position of the characters in the environment. The next already teasered animation Love N'Bullets doesn't have those problems plus the longer animations in it gave me way more freedom for shot placement, pans, and interesting edits (in addition, I learned way more about editing animation and how to get those nice camera shots like in the newest sneakpeak in the last few months) The fluids themselves were looking pretty good, but the normals and shading had some problems. What I now try is making a sweaty and goopy-fluid system for those slippery lube'y skin shots I really like!

I'm probably not gonna do something similar to this in the future. it caused me so much pain!!!! Aughh!!! it was fun though. even if my fingers fucked up Supporters (Thank You!) This is a fananimation about Touhou:Project & Madness Combat

The main video is finally out! Sorry to keep you all waiting an extra day. After a full year of production—where we were working on it almost every single day, and FH_KEviL_WenBoSt was practically working 24/7 during the final stretch—Episode 4 is finally complete.Note: This animation contains some graphic wounds and depictions of violent action. If you feel uncomfortable, please exit in time. Also, as this is a fan-made work, please do not watch it with the expectation that it strictly follows the original canon. After Reimu dealt with the two little devils and took a brief rest, she continued her mission: to find the mastermind behind the Scarlet Mist Incident—Remilia. But how could it be easy to get in touch with the boss of a faction? From this point on, fairies start to appear in more variants: there are those specializing in throwing knives, more elite-type big fairies, and the most difficult existence to deal with—Remilia's highest-ranking subordinate, the Head Maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Sakuya Izayoi. She is currently the toughest enemy, and the battle against her takes up a significant portion of the animation. Thank you so much for all your support for this animation. See you all in the next episode, Episode 5.Happy Madness Day 2026! Behind the Scenes:The production of this episode went through many difficulties, including but not limited to: the production software crashing, lighting effects exceeding the software's limits, excessive asset sizes making it difficult to export, and wasted production time due to my communication and handoff issues. My relationship with FH_KEviL_WenBoSt also got strained for a while, but fortunately, it didn't severely impact the production, and we managed to finish it before Madness Day ended. Actually, Episode 4 was originally planned to end at the 8-minute mark, but I got carried away making the scene of Reimu fighting Sakuya and added over 2 extra minutes. Luckily, it was completed in the end. The successful release wouldn't have been possible without FH's help; he only slept for 8 hours over these three days, spending the rest of the time producing and exporting. Huge thanks to him for his help. I might need to take a break for a while now. Thanks again for everyone's support.

The Eternal Glow of Madness

A rough line animation set to 'Go Get Your Gun' by The Dear Hunter

To avoid any music copyright issues on the platform but still be a part of Madness Day 2026, I’m hosting my animatic on YouTube via this embed Happy Madness Day 2026, everyone! Honestly, I only remembered about Madness Day toward the end of August. I guess I realized just in time that I needed to finally make something after all my time in this community—especially for the anniversary celebration!Originally, I planned to make this project in 3D. But I ended up wasting a whole day just trying to make a stylized Hank model, so I eventually gave up. I realized it would take way too long. With only 20 days left before Madness Day, I just animated the scenes as fast as I could to make the deadline. That’s why it’s in a rough sketch style. I don't have many fully finished animations under my belt, but overall, I'm really happy with how it turned out! And by the way, my cat did all the animation

Evil is coming. And with it comes madness.

An animated film I created in just two days. A huge thank you to everyone... especially Krinkels and Markus Persson (Verity creator). I hope you enjoy this short madness cartoon.I originally planned to make it longer, but I was running out of time. Happy Madness Day 2026!

Madnesia tackles his first Agency assignment since completing his training

--------- SPOILERS AHEAD DON'T READ UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED WATCHING THE EPISODE -------------------(5 YEARS BEFORE THE MAIN ''AGENT MADNESIA'S ADVENTURES'' SERIES) ''Well, goddamn... Today was the big day, I got in that jeep with the rest of the guys, we came here, we absolutely tore shit down and I ended up being the biggest winner from all of this! I'm so damn happy that I managed to get into the squad! And like I have planned since I got assigned to this mission, I decided to start writing this diary of sorts on this book I brought with me to keep record of whatever interesting stuff happens to me while I'm here but anyway: All those months of training with Maxer, both physically and mentally... they really paid off today, I was kicking ass like no tomorrow, nobody here could stop me.. Well, kinda.. I did end up getting hit with stuff that I still think I had no business getting hit with but... Whatever, Maxer told me I was gonna get even better eventually anyway and so far, he has been more than helpful towards me so I'm willing to believe him and put my full trust on him and his training methods, because thanks to him I managed to secure this job... and my life. I don't know how will I ever repay Maxer for his efforts but I feel that if I repeat this kind of performance during the rest of my career here at the AAHW, that will be enough to repay him... And I won't disappoint him! Though I also gotta say.. Johnny and Fran.. I also owe my success today to those two dudes, ever since I came back asking for a last chance at being in the squad, they've always been supportive of me, always cheering me on during my training and being great sparring partners, easily the nicest pair of dudes I have met so far in my tenure here at the Agency (Obviously other than Maxer hehe)But of course, there's always THAT one guy who can't help but being a total fucking asshole... One day I'll show Edua how good I've gotten and maybe kick his ass around a little bit... Even if fighting him will probably be way more difficult than either fighting the two losers I took on at the end of today's mission or Agent Shamrock... I'm willing to throw hands with that fucker if that means I would have the chance to shut his mouth up for good But yeah aside from that, today went really well.. Excellent, even. I'll admit, during the action I felt like I was gonna lose my shit again but fortunately I remained calm.. steady... focused.. Something that in previous times I probably wouldn't have been able to do even for a single second.. Once again, I thank Maxer very much for helping me in getting my shit together mentally. I think sooner or later I will be able to fully put my emotions aside during missions and be able to operate and engage enemies with 100% efficiency. Deep down though... There's still something at the back of my mind still... Making me feel like not everything is alright. Being here at the settlement makes me feel safer but once we eventually get back to base... That feeling of being watched, supervised... controlled by ''Him'' will come back. It's ridiculous, I don't even know why I feel like that towards him, I don't think he's even at the same base we reside at.. but he's just... THAT terrifying.. but I guess if it wasn't for him I... I don't know really, I should probably not give much thought about that whole thing because after all, the Great Auditor is and will always be far more important than him, and he also has to follow their orders. I'll give my best to the AAHW and the Great Auditor, and hopefully one day there will be a world without any kind of evil and chaos in it, with all of humanity living in safety under their rule... And I'll be there, reading everything that I'll eventually write on this book and being proud of a job well done.. I can't lie, I'm excited for what awaits me in the future! But for now, I'll just relax and take a well deserved break... And maybe ask Maxer if he's got more of those alfajores.''

My Agency Memories, Entry #1

________________________________________________________________________________ Don't have much to say, only that if you wish to see more of my stuff then go over to YT and check out my channel! Hope y'all have enjoyed it, Happy Madness Day! ^^

A.M.A Agency Journal (Entry #1)

Someone's life is going through bumps. They use this moment to become a terrorist.

TronBot Series takes place in a timeline 50 years after Madness Combat by Krinkels. Hank & his immediate team are gone, and Status Quo is crippled. Since defeating Hank, the Agency Against Hank Wimbleton has transformed into a mass policing agency that compromises the privacy of innocent citizens of Nevada, with the intention of preventing the creation of another Hank. A privacy-compromising mass policing agency is obviously no good. Paskal "Medic" Iatrou just got fired from his surgical position. He suspects that the Agency Against Hank Wimbleton had to do with that, so now, he wants to destroy their spying operations. He teams up with Francisca Leal & Anttoni Justi, who are basically sister & brother, to enact plans to create "TronBot", a murder machine housed in an old laser tag suit, designed specifically for dealing with AAHW as efficiently as possible. The big reason why this animation in particular took so long is because I spent a lot of time remaking old scenes that I was no longer happy with. This animation was started in February 2023, but in this release of it, only one scene from 2023 remains. I probably could've gotten away with starting this in early 2025. But it's OK, all of the now scrapped scenes were me getting better at animation. Ideally, future installments do not take so much time. Thank you for waiting. A physics script written by ICantStopSuffer was used a few times.

TronBot Zero Module One [Madness Day 2026]

They have a great relationship, I think...

They have a great relationship, I think... Kept you waiting, huh? I'm not sure if I ever put it in the descriptions on here but since I am trying to step up the quality and length of videos I will likely only be posting once a month or so on here (more on socials/Patreon for other short videos/things that don't fit this site). I am pretty happy with the way this one turned out overall; I think the concept is cute and there's a lot of ways to go. I also think this one lends itself to either futa or lesbian, so there is a lesbian version on Patreon. I have another part planned for this video, but it might be a while to get there since the concept will be kind of complicated to enact (definitely isn't the next video); this video still has some technical things that I am trying to see how to rectify, but they probably would have taken another month to fix so I suppressed my ego and am posting it and will continue to look for solutions while making more stuff. There's some teasing, light absurdity, and intense hole usage, a whole bunch of stuff I enjoy doing and hope you enjoy watching! If you think this content is good and want to support, or want early access to videos (including unique shorts and stills), higher quality versions, work-in-progress reports on projects, or want to see alts of these videos from other angles/sometimes the same context in both lesbian and futa, try Patreon! I post 1-2 times a week about works in progress, early videos, etc. Regardless, thank you for watching my content here! Subject 42: Part 2

Furry gangbang featuring Mia the hyena as the cum dumpster

What was I doing here... That's not the type of party I usually go. Hell, that's not even the type of music I listen to. The feeling I don't belong here became more and more obvious as time passed. In the middle of all those furries dancing furiously over rave score, I was the only human. A guy who definitely spend too much time watching adult content involving my species and their, only imagining how it could feel.In this mass of dancing fur and scales and whatever, under the hypnotizing lights of the dance floor, I could see some of them dancing together, flirting, kissing, and finally walking out to a more private place to have a quick fun time. Sometimes just two, sometimes a whole group. And I remained here, envying them. The only human in a nightclub heavily frequented by furries. My true intentions were more than obvious to anyone with a functionning brain, of course they saw me as nothing more than a pervert, and maybe they were actually right. What was I thinking... One last drink, and I'll go home. And that's when I bumped her, trying to reach the bar. A hyena girl with a cap. She looked more like she was belonging to a skatepark rather than a nightclub. She gave me a cold look. "Sorry" I said "hum.. can I buy you a drink to make it up to my clumsiness?""What, so you can drug me or some shit ?" she replied, her eyes literally piercing me.What was I doing here...But then her frown transformed to a smile. A predatory smile."Come on, I'm teasing you! Damn you look like you're about to cry !" she laughed. "Anyone can be me a drink!"The pressure released, I felt a lot more comfortable. She grabbed me by the hand, and dragged me to the bar, where I ordered the drinks. We talked, despite the loud music covering our voices. She was a lot more cheerful than I thought she would be, the attittude was part of her personality."You're alone?" She asked."Yeah... I'm not even sure why I'm here to begin with." I answered."Come on! You think I'm some kind of stuck up behaving prude little girl? You're looking for someone to fuck, right?"I think I gasped a little."Well you're straight to the point, aren't you?" I replied back. "ok... yeah you're right, and so far I've been unsuccessfull. In fact, you're the first one actually talking to me since I'm here.""oh poor thing!" she teased."you need a hug?"I laughed, or at least tried to fake a laugh, because the truth is I actually wouldn't mind a hug from her. I started drinking my glass."I came with a friend in here to have a gangbang. We gathered 3 other guys, they're waiting to the purple room. Do you want to join?"I chocked on my drink. She said all that in one go."Did I say something wrong?"I coughed a bit, and caught my breath."I knew you were direct, but I didn't expect THIS direct, what the hell?"She seemed taken aback."What? You don't want to? I thought you came here for that.""I... am, but I'm just... not used to this kind of proposition, so fast, specially from a girl I just met".She laughed heavily, as if I was the one who said something weird."You're really not used to hang out with furries, aren't you!" She grabbed my hand, and put it on her chest. It was so sudden. It was all going so fast. Did I really want to do that? "See I made the first step for you...". She whispered sensually. "Come on boy, don't you want to join the fun?"I do, I really want that. I squeezed her boob through her shirt and kissed her lips passionately. She sighed "that's more like it... Come on, the others are waiting!"I followed her to the purple room. It was a place of the nightclub bathing in red and blue neon light, a leather sofa in the corner. Coming in, I saw the group. Four others furries, already naked and hard."Took you long enough!" the zebra said. "We were starting to wonder if you would come back at all, we even thought about just going full gay if you didn't!""Nah, I made another encounter on my way here, and got offered a free drink. I can't say no to a free drink, you know me!""That's him?" said the big green lizard one. Man was he buffed! "The human?""Yep! You don't mind if he join, don't you?""Well, to be honest..." started the raccoon before she cut him off."It doesn't matter what you want actually. My body, my rules! And this human is on!"The raccoon leaned to me and whispered "I was about to say I find you very sexy man, I hope you don't mind if in the heat of the moment I give a little lick at your dick, just to taste!"I felt like I entered the twilight zone. This situation alone was so much to take at once... and it got even better!I stripped my clothes, so did the hyena girl. She lied on the sofa, enthusiast."Come on boys! Come all and do all sort of dirty thing to my body!"I can't recall everything that happened afterwards. I just recall a lot of sweat, a lot of effort, a lot of agility, but more importantly a lot of pleasure. The bodies mixed, rubbed, penetrated, an intense exctasy. And when came the time to finish it all, she agreed to take each one of our cum inside her vagina. The zebra went first, now we're waiting patiently for our turn to finish in her. That's when I grabbed my phone and started filming. When I started this one, I knew I was going for something complicated to create. But man did it starts to drag on at some point! That being said, I'm actually really happy with the result! I love the atmosphere specifically! I hope you'll enjoy the result as well!Mia the hyena by AnnoADZahr the Zebra by SLaDRufus the raccoon by DarberKedrick the red lizard created by KoboldWrangler modeled by Khavren CreationsRoek the green lizard created by SuchMim modeled by Cho0coMan the human by KoomerBackground Club by DGXLABZ The voices were taken from a porn video, the music in the background is Shodan by Diomi ft. Mia in : Locking rhythms to the beat of her heat

thank you so, so much to everyone that watched the smolotov short!! it had a very happy and unexpected blow up on tiktok.... I'm so grateful that you all enjoyed it so much that we made a couple more. :) incredible design and boards by my partner anim and voice is me here's more about the series: Smolotov is a young anarchist that train hopped across the country with her best friends & her loon, “Big Dawg.” (Those close to Big Dawg call him Pancake.) Her and her friends snuck to Liberty Island after receiving magic “party favours” from a local. They went to the Statue of Liberty completely unnoticed. Then, something crazy happened... At first, they were concerned that they may be hallucinating. The cloth on the statue was swaying like real cloth. On investigating, they found out the cloth was real. All three of the friends cut a piece of the cloth and wrapped it on different parts of their bodies as a bandana equivalent of a best friendship bracelet. When train hopping back home, they noticed strange glowing from the cloths... And when they finally stepped back on home soil, it happened: their first .. magical girl transformation!!!!!!!!!!here's the one I already posted: link

Animated Storytime: Jobs That Went Sideways

Miao Miao is left in charge of the bowling alley. Can she handle it?

Miao Miao is left in charge of the bowling alley she works at. It's her first time being trusted with this large of a responsibility, can she handle it?_______This is my longest video, by far. and my first real video in almost a YEAR. lol. All in all, took me about 2-ish weeks to get this together? It started out as my lowpoly day entry, but as that deadline passed me by, I decided to slow down and give it some more time in the oven; if the pacing feels.. all over, that would be because about 70% of it was done before I slowed myself down. Oops! Regardless, I am happy to have completed my first large animation; what I've learned here is invaluable. I've wanted to do this episode for a long time now, so finally being able to give Miao Miao her spotlight was an honor for me. It's hard to describe what has lead me to this little story specifically, but it comes from a place of love. shoutout dad. and thank you to my buddy Kingblue for the music. day one's 4ever.______kingblue's bandcamp

Netflix: Still Watching? Meanwhile, someone's daughter...

This took forever and I hope you can tell how I really didn't want a repeat of my last animation, with it felling really stiff and choppy with the audio and other things that I wasn't happy with, but I did my best to make it more fluid in how the character moves and making use of whatever I could to make it stand out more. Also if there is something that looks weird or just seems off I'm always up to hearing about it so I can hopefully avoid it in future projects, thank you!

Happy Mother's Day from the Heart of Linphea! In the magical world of Skyla the Dragon Knight – an official indie spin-off inspired by Winx Club – we honor Poppy, the future Queen of Linphea, devoted mother of Princess Lyna, granddaughter of the legendary Queen Krystal, and beloved future wife of Flora and Helia’s grandson, Herb. Franklin finds something odd in the storeroom

VOODOO VIDS EPISODE 4: IN BRUCE WE TRUST Episode 4 is upon us and I hope you enjoy it! I'm aware that many people may not have seen the original Evil Dead movie. And you don't need to have seen it to have some fun in this episode, but there are a lot of references here that are connected to the Evil Dead series. If you want some more context before watching, maybe check out the last edition of the Spooky Zine. ABOUT THE SPOOKY ZINEThe spooky zine is a once a month mini mag that explores some more of the local lore and connects with the episodes and world of voodoo vids in a way that's external to the animation. They are a bit of fun, but also can contain wider context for viewers that want to have some additional context. Or maybe you just want to read more about what's happening in the wider universe. A LOVE LETTER TO EVIL DEADThis episode is a love letter to Evil Dead and nods to the horror classic in certain ways I hope you would find nostalgic and at the same time, perhaps encourage some new people to seek out The Evil dead movies if you haven't seen them. You have to have a passion for old school splatter gore horror. But it's got a great blend of gore and comic styled over the top supernatural elements that are sure to delight, and Bruce Campbell is just brilliant as Ash Williams. I'm super excited to learn that there are rumors Bruce may even return to the movies in some capacity. I know currently Bruce is battling cancer, which is awful news, but as he said himself, "Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch".I along with many fans are wishing him a good battle and hope he gets well soon! I'd love to see him on the big screen in Evil Dead again! Beyond this point there will be episode 4 spoilers so return to read the rest after you've seen the episode. BEHIND THE SCENES OF EPISODE 4This episode took a lot longer to make than the others, I hope that shows and also thank you for your patience. The script went through a few re writes and last minute changes that extended the runtime. Having every character in a single episode comes with more challenges, making sure to give each of them a good scene. But I think it was worth it as if you like any character in particular they are all present in this one. THAT ICONIC INTROIf you are familiar with Evil Dead you will have noticed I did my best to pay homage to the opener from Evil Dead 2 that explains the Necronomicon's origins. Making that was so much fun, animating the front cover of the book, combining it with some stock footage of an ocean that I tinted red, and for the "ink effect" on the page reveals I used some simple track mattes of real ink drop footage to do that. I love how it turned out.I also did the narration in the intro, I rearranged elements of the original script to work better with the set up for this parody. My goal was to allow people who've never heard of, or watched Evil dead to get up to speed as quickly as possible with the idea that "this book is bad news" TECHNICAL STUFFOne of the biggest challenges is creating new environments and props. Something you see on screen for a few seconds in a few shots has had to be created from scratch. Some times I over engineer stuff too and I probably could've made the chainsaw without an actually animated chain... but because I did, It allowed me to get some cool camera angles of it in action. Same can be said for the shotgun that Franklin is using. it is based of the same model they used in Evil Dead 2, the original film Ash used a single barreled Winchester, but the sequel it was a 12 guage double barrel Stevens model, and later in the 3rd movie it was a double barrel Stoeger Coach Gun, which is lovingly referred to now as "The Boomstick"Ash famously saws the barrel off in Evil Dead 2. Of course I needed a forest. Not any easy set to build but I made it easy by cutting a lot of corners, the whole forest set is just a simple plane with a particle system placing tree images randomly across the surface.I made it within an hour and the lighting is doing most of the heavy lifting. which is again fairly simple. I like my renders to not take AGES. Most of the animation scenes take about 4-5 seconds per frame. So the forest was as basic as it needed to be. Paul's date cutaway was another external set that required a suburban feel to it. so I modeled some simple houses and kept camera angles to a minimum and focused only on what I needed. it was a very short scene so keeping the set small was important... but I could probably use it again in future should the need arise.Voodoo Vids itself as a set is the biggest and most detailed because I wanted a space where I can point the camera pretty much anywhere and have a great shot. A lot of time was spent on that, but it still needs work and more will come to the set eventually. Another huge time save has been using multiple cameras within the same scene and swapping between them. traditionally I would've worked on one scene per camera shot, but using Blenders camera marker system I can have multiple cameras that I can cut to whenever I need. so I can animate the whole scene in one blend file. This also makes it easier to alter small parts or fix things in post easier without having to dig through a load of different scene files. MUFFINMuffin the Dog was referenced in the Spooky Zine and fun fact, he is voiced by our own dog Podrick. Recording his various noises is fun. To get his taco crunching sounds we used a Poppadom, he very much enjoys working with us when there's food involved. The next two episodes will probably be a little shorter again too not keep the gaps too long between them. AND for the finale there's going to be another great addition to the page that you can all experience and join in. more on that soon.We may even see some more new characters too!! FINAL NOTEThank you all for watching and a special thanks to Bruce Campbell and Director Sam Raimi for making a bonkers horror franchise that inspires fans and creators still to this day.As for Voodoo Vids please share it if you can, tell people about It! Your support is greatly appreciated with every like, vote, comment. Animation Commission #2

Happy Pico Day! Here's an animation I made inspired by some clips of Shark Tank! I had a lot of fun making (and rushing) this one out, I'd say it's a good first Pico Day animation, here's to more to come. (You might recognise someone familiar in the background at the start!)

HAPPY PICO DAY!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM FULP------------------------------------------thank you Gaijin Smash for letting me use your song! (banana split) (NG staff please dont blam me, they won't sue you guys)BANANA SPLITGAIJINSMASH OTHER CREDSENA MODEL @zzzcatpigzzz for emotional support--------------------------------------------------(uploaded 2 days early so it doesn't stay in under judgement prison and miss the day)i thought it would be funny to make pico kendoll naked because hes kind of a beloved action figure for the website at this point this is PRETTY shotty in a lotta places, i tried a lot of new things for this, but live and learn (standing on the eeedge of tomorrooow) for a few years now, pico day has been very FNF centered (which is sick) but i know that pico day is meant to be a newgrounds holiday, i really wanted to mute FNFs influence down to a few references just to focus on newgrounds itself! a lot of the cameos look really uncanny but OUGHYG i tried i put a lot of goofy easter eggs, i had a ton of fun with this one i really tried to make this an amateur love letter to NG, im a sappy guy!

Franklin has an idea to get more money in the shop

Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him. WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband & wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.
