Showcase of mochi cat accessories upcoming game on steam

I used Nomad Sculpt to set up the scene and character then moved it little by little and took a photo of each frame. I then used Procreate animation assist to combine the frames into a short clip. This video is to showcase the accessory options in our upcoming indie game on steam “Meow Harvest”. A cozy farming/fighting game with the main creatures being mochi cats. Plant weapons. Catch unique fish in one of the many mini games. Fight monster hordes and more.Follow Cognito Labs on Steam and look out for the demo drop that’s coming soon

A fight breaks out at Hector's gas station, and he tries to keep it from being destroyed.

For a long time, I wanted to work on something outside of college and focus on creating my own character and story. But when your break from animating is animating, it eventually becomes exhausting.I don't remember exactly when I started this project, but one of the earliest sketches of the gas station dates back to March of last year. The part that took me the longest was modeling the environment in 3D. At that point, I still didn't have the concept for the short film, but I already had the basic premise of Hector's story. The hardest part was coming up with an idea that wasn't impossible to animate. Every time I came up with something, I had to simplify it until it eventually became what it is today.I always knew Hector would try to protect his gas station, facing conflicts he wouldn't know how to deal with and outcomes that wouldn't always turn out the way he hoped. But I also wanted him to be able to accept that by the end of the day and keep moving forward, a lesson I had to learn myself several times while making this short film. -Instagram:<a href="https://www.instagram.com/reyessmateo_art/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> https://www.instagram.com/reyessmateo_art/</a>

hello!! If you saw my other animation you’d know about Hifumi. I’m glad to post again. I have been very busy. In August I got my procedure, November I had my toenail removed. And not to mention all the work I have to do. I try my hardest to animate when possible.

Franklin has an idea to get more money in the shop

<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571748_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571748_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,296">VOODOO VIDS EPISODE 3: THE CLAW! Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571729_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571729_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="341,606">THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571750_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571750_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="248,419"> WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband &amp; wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571751_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571751_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,316">

[FNAF/BLENDER] SpringBonnie's Hummer

A short film about a captain who underestimates a monster. An animation exercise

Few parts of the animation were surprisingly challenging. The ocean movement and waves were fun to animate, but the boat shots required a bit more thought. Since the boat is drawn in 2D and not a real 3D object, rotating and changing angles had to be done manually to keep the illusion working. For example, when the boat tilts and the camera angle changes, I had to adjust the drawing so it feels like the boat is turning in space, even though it's really just a flat drawing. The top-down shot of the boat was also tricky. As the camera pulls away, the captain had to look upward toward the viewer, and the cabin needed a slight backward tilt. In the real world you would naturally see a bit more of the top surfaces when the camera moves farther away, so I had to fake that perspective shift in 2D. Interestingly, the sea monster itself wasn't the hardest part. The most challenging bit was actually the water splash when the monster emerges from the ocean. Getting the motion of the water to feel energetic and believable took a lot more tweaking than I expected.Everything in this animation was created using Arttista, a 2D illustration and animation tool that I built myself. I've been using projects like this to experiment with different animation workflows and features while developing it. A lost game commercial from the early 90s!

VIDEO DESCRIPTION:Enjoy this animated trailer I made for MRPR's new game, DANCIN' DIVAS!I worked on this trailer from September 19 - November 22. I stayed up many nights getting it done before the deadline. The frame by frame animation was the hardest part, I have little experience in animation, but I'm really happy how smooth it came out. I was heavily Inspired by 2 Game Commercials, Super Mario Land 2 and The Popeye Videogame. An SFM recreation of that JayDaddy video with audio by Alex the Doggo

EXTREME GORE WARNING! An SFM recreation of that JayDaddy video with the audio by Alex the Doggo and a little something extra The amount of custom models in this is insane. I ported all Postal 4 assets seen, even The Dude, as the current version is different than the Gmod model. This has been done with the personal blessing of Running With Scissors. Some easter eggs:<ul><li>The dude is smoking crack when Art enters.</li><li>The Rocket Launcher is running DOOM in reference to an easter egg in Rage</li></ul><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508323_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508323_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430"><ul><li>The Rocket Launcher also has The Gandalf head bob gif loop</li><li>The Chainsaw scene is based off the climax of Evil Dead 2013</li></ul><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508321_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508321_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430"><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508322_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508322_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,314"><ul><li>When Dude shoots Freddy, it's based off the climax of Ghost Rider when he shoots the gun at Legion, but it's too short to tell that</li></ul><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508319_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508319_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430"><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508320_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508320_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="500,250">This is what I consider my Magnum Opus currently because I feel proud for managing to make the trash bag move like a trash bag does, especially when Art is trying to rip out of it. This was done purely through experimentation and guesswork using flexes and custom bones on the Left 4 Dead trash bag model, and I am extremely happy that it turned out as something very comfortable and easy (for the most part) to animate with no issues in the final product. Art ACTUALLY rips out of the bag, the bag shakes around like he's inside of it, and the hole actually expands as he rips out. Also, despite all of that, the hardest part to animate was "Gucky"<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508325_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508325_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430">Not because of the mask, or the rig of the model, but because of how precise the movement had to be to look convincing. I spent two weeks on it alone out of the 30 days I spent animating this. The perk of being an autistic unemployed fuck (thanks for the genes, mom!) (no, seriously. Diagnosed in 2005, baby!) is that you have all day to do nothing but animate. I even kept experimenting with re-rigging the bones on the coat to make them move more realistically, but it didn't turn out how I wanted.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508327_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508327_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430">Notice how GUCKY is in an awkward pose. I wanted him on a better pose, but the rotation looked very unsmooth when I did so and this segways into the next frame better. Also notice the coat's strange dome-like shape. I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Hopefully Postal 4 one day adds physics itself and re-optimizes the model to have it. The model "supports" it "for a future update" that was teased years ago - this pretty much means that its legs and the coat are separate. However, the shirt and coat are fused, so I can't get it as loose as I want, so I've decided to add a belt to future edits, although my last belt edit is totally gone due to a hard drive crash on my secondary workstation. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508328_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508328_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430">Dude has re-kindled his inner child and loves playing with toys again. The lore I came up with is that Chucky's spirit was transferred into a mask of his own face, and then Chucky put it on and Gary took over his body. Gary can only rest when he kills his killer. Being that this is Postal, the timeline diverges from ours, but nobody in Postal stays dead, either due to psychosis or something from the local military bases, maybe even both. I just know that it smells like shoe polish all the time in this fucking shithole of a city. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508329_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508329_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430">SO LONG AND GOODNIGHT! Music used: BFG division I'd also like to thank my Autism for making my special interest Postal instead of something cool like trains, computers (it is one, but not THE one), or Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for the Playstation 2. Voting Hardest Boss

In this animation, I tried to express my personal understanding of the Parable of the Weeds. Why does God allow evil to remain in the world? Perhaps because many still have the chance to change — to grow, to overcome what was sown in their hearts by the enemy. Each person faces a choice: to give in to these inner weeds and vices, or to struggle against them and bear fruit before the harvest. The Parable of the Weeds

This is the 2nd part of the animation MiSide: MiniSized.

Hello everyone~!I made an animation for the 2nd part of MiSide: MiniSized but I can't upload the entirety of it on Youtube so I decided uploaded the full video here. I hope you all enjoy watching it~ After hanging out and saying goodbye to Cappie (Cool Mita) and Kind Mita, the player finds themselves in Version 1.3B, a hallway with only a glitched/broken exit portal that only repeatedly loops the player in the same place, with each loop making the hallway more darker and creepier. When a dangerous creature attempts to attack the player, it was suddenly crushed by creepy-looking giant girl. With these dangers appearing out of nowhere, what will happen to the Player from now on? Like the first one, I've had a bit of a rough time making this as the story is too complicated and I needed to think of some ways to be able to make the events as close to the original story as possible while also turning it into a size event/scenario. The Mitas featured here (not mentioning them since it might be spoiler for the video) are the hardest to think of a size event/scenario with (since their moments from the Player in the original game are too short to make something out of and I've even considered removing them in the animation), but I'm glad that I'm able to think of ideas for them in the end. Also, as far as the story is going, this series may end up being more than 3 parts (I'm not exactly sure how many parts will it be at the end).Anyways, I hope that you enjoyed this as much as the 1st part~! If you like my videos and wanted to show some support, you can support me on my Patreon or Ko-fi. It helps me keep motivated to make more videos in the future! (MMD Giantess) MiSide: MiniSized (Part 2)

Experimental animation, mainly to test out resolution.

Animation post #1, overall post #21!In all honesty, I don't care if this gets blammed. All I need is some test results.----------------------------------------------------------------I have half a mind to do an animation series called "The Wonderful Grindstone Gates", but before that, I will have to do some testing out of various things, writing, designing... so on. The general gist of the story is:A teenager with the mind of a disturbed child (somehow) was found outside of the habitable zone in a post-post-apocalyptic world. In a society where every (and I mean EVERY) person has to be put to use, an organization dedicated to rehabilitation has taken him in and put him in a virtual world where he will hone his "society skills" through adventures. (Even though I have NO IDEA about how to actually fix that kind of person... But one can dream.)The final goal of the adventure is to defeat a dragon with a single horn... And everybody in the virtual world will show up as stick figures (Mainly to save on in-universe computing resources lol (But I'll put some thought into the stick figure designs I promise)) I got some inspiration from Stampy's Lovely World, Disco Elysium and this chinese Minecraft series "Dawn Biography", but I'll try my hardest to make it it's own thing, and not too copy-y. ================================================= The trailer, in the stick figures' heads, would be like a person jumping through a window into a world of wonders, but apparently the red one did not do her job properly...

Trailer shooting gone wrong
