A cozy-ish cabin scene with a few spooky characters doing small things in the background.

Here's an animation I rendered in Blender 4.1. It's a cozy-ish nighttime cabin scene with a few spooky characters reading or doing small things in the background, along with some spooky music playing and some ambient fire crackling sounds (basically mimicking those lo-fi videos a bit). The characters are Karaka and Kiduna, both by an artist called Merafume. The models were made by Sumsnermin. I used a procedural toon flame material for the fire This animation was actually made last year for Halloween , but all of the materials and modifiers that the models had were a lot for this meh-level computer to handle. Rendering it took over 70 hours total over about a month of separate sessions. I couldn't meet the Halloween deadline, so I saved the video for the next year. Spooky, Cozy Tunes with Fireplace Ambience

Keaton’s quiet night is interrupted by a rustle in the bushes… KARO NOTES:So you may sorta know Keaton from the Nov 2024 animatic I did. This time, he’s been redesigned into a more Felix the Cat shape (some people thought it was a Sonic thing) I think it’s the best he’s ever looked throughout his decade of existence, it’s fun to express with and see in action. This short was largely done in December, so I had to add back in a few PINGtreon supporters from the time. It was also originally supposed to be a part of a different larger project I had in store related to the Donkey Kong Country TV Show, but I plucked it from there because I liked it enough to keep it independent. That said, there are a lot of small nods to the DKC show in this. The statue of Vin the Mothman was made to resemble the DK statue Cranky has in his hut. The record player was based on the one used in “Double Date Trouble”, as well as it being used to ward off the Kritters. The cloth that Keaton drapes over the windows is based on K.Rool’s cape, he has pots of cacti similar to the ones seen in Funky’s place, he has Cranky Kong’s globe with Kongo Bongo Island mapped in there, the lantern, alot of Keaton’s RV was based on Cranky’s Cabin. For the music to this one, I went out and got a panflute and a pipehorn to bring in a more naturalistic feeling to this one. I wanna tie Keaton’s movements to the panflute and have that accentuate the way he acts. I had a finger piano laying around for a few years now from a reptile zoo gift shop, so I used that here. I knew I’d use it in relation to a Keaton short at some point, and now I have. I wanna go more complex with the music I do in these shorts. There shall be more to come for Keaton… ~KARO '26 TO JOIN THE PILLOWFORT► https://patreon.com/CountessKAROWHERE ELSE TO FIND ME►https://countesskaro.carrd.co/STORE►https://countess-karo-shop.fourthwall.com/

A Pumpkin's Tale

FInally, my MK vs DCU animation is up. Check it out and tell me what you guys think?

Finally.... RED-LANTERN HAS COME BACK WITH A SUBMISSION!!! Ok so enough about trying to be The Rock on my first animation back in almost a year, but let me just get down to the point of this movie. 1. Once I heard about MK vs DC coming out, I freaked out in a good way because I am a fan, a huge fan of both universes. So due to my excitement I decided to make an animation about it. 2. I focused most on the first four characters that were announced Sub Zero, Batman, Scorpion and Superman. I have the entire roster in their with their closely resembled looks to the game so I hope you guys like my sprite editting work on the sprites. 3. There will be no sequel to this movie as it was just fan based, basically based on a nerd for both worlds along with the lack of sprites I have on the DC side. So if I disappoint with that, sorry folks but that's that. 4. I really worked hard on it and you will notice a glimpse on where I am heading toward when it comes to the popular titles such as War of the Realms 2, Chameleon's Story ep II, Kombat Vixens and other miscellaneous projects. 5. I rushed through the end because I lacked the sprites and lacked the time for creativity and I have been dying to put something up like I have been absent from my passion in creating animations for quite a long time. Hope you guys really enjoy it, I sure did. A lot of time and effort was put into this so I hope it's enough to satisfy the lust for Red-Lantern style animations. All I can say is enjoy the movie and I will see if I can find some time out of my busy schedule to feed you guys with my awesome War of the Realms II and Chameleon's Story II. EDIT: I just watched it on the newgrounds server and it's being a bit delayed with the sound. When I see it on my cpu, it sounds more fluent, so please do forgive me if that annoys any of you.
