HEAD'S UP: The following description is mainly aimed towards people who are familiar with my earlier "TrouserToons" series. So feel free to ignore the description if you're a newcomer (if you are one, then welcome! XD), since you might find it confusing... Greetings, everyone! Here is the official animated test pilot for "The Nuisances"!, aka the planned reboot for my "TrouserToons" series! ("The Nuisances" was actually an old working title I had for TrouserToons during 2023 before I changed it lol). The direction that the series will go in after this point will almost entirely depend on how the test pilot turns out. Although I cannot guarantee that new episodes will come out super soon after the pilot since I'm gonna start college soon and there's still plenty of other things I haven't fully planned yet, so I gotta wait a bit first to decide what I'm gonna do in the future. In fact, don't be surprised if I end up going a super long time without uploads or even become completely inactive because of this. I can't promise anything for sure, but no matter what happens, I'll still be glad that I was able to get at least *something* out related to this rebooted series, even if it isn't much. Also, keep in mind that this is merely a "test" pilot. So It's really just to test out this new art and animation style (heavily inspired by geometric 2000s cartoons like The Powerpuff Girls and The Fairly OddParents), and it's not a super ambitious fully developed first episode or anything. So to keep it simple, the animation only features Johnnie, Janie, Mr. Nesmith, and none of the old TrouserToons side characters for now. And for those familiar with TrouserToons, if you're wondering why Johnnie sounds different than normal, that's because his voice lines here were done by a female friend of mine this time, since I was thinking about giving him a higher pitched, younger sounding voice than before, so for this pilot, I decided to recycle some old voicelines I was given by said friend who tried to audition for Johnnie's voice role back in 2023 (with permission, of course). In fact, dialogue actually originally came from an old unfinished script I tried making for TrouserToons back in 2023, but after I scrapped it, I decided to use lines from the script as audition sample lines (I also ended up meeting Janie's current VA from that exact same open audition, so Janie's voicelines here come from 2023 as well lol). But of course, no one's voice in the reboot (if I end up making more episodes) isn't finalized either. Nothing is finalized, really. Again, this is a TEST animation, nothing concrete lol. Anyways, no matter what ultimately ends up happening, I hope you enjoy the pilot! At long last, here's a new TrouserToons episode! I honestly wasn't expecting this episode to be over 9 minutes long, but what can you do? XD. Unlike the past few, this one isn't actually based on a specific old episode concept or anything, but rather I came up with it since I realized that Ethan never really had a proper full episode to himself. His biggest roles have mostly just been as either a side character or in shorts. I mean, look at the other kid characters. Johnnie, Janie, Myla, Sunshine, Emma, Maddie, and even Coco had all gotten full episodes to themselves. A "day in the limelight", if you will. It's really only Ethan who got the short end of the stick here. Bully might be a close second, but even he still had his moments. So, I decided to fix that! I decided to make an episode where I pair Ethan and Bully together! Since... well, it's a character pairing that I don't think I've ever done before XD. So, here's the end result! I hope you all enjoy! Caught Rat: Monster Fucks Jane in an Alley

After over a month without a TrouserToons episode, here's a new one! This episode also features David's cuckoo clock bird, Luco! Like "The Do-Gooders", this episode is also based on a super old concept I came up with in 2023. And I actually wrote a plot outline for it that time. However, that version was actually a lot more ambitious than this one as it involved the clock traveling all across the city, among other things. It also didn't feature Luco at all, funnily enough. But for this episode, I ended up simplifying the plot by quite a bit so it doesn't become a nightmare for me to animate. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the finished episode! The Nesmiths (try to) play Truth or Dare!

Welcome to the TrouserToons Truth or Dare special! Where Johnnie, Janie, and David play a game of Truth or Dare based on submitted requests I took from YouTube commenters XD Also, you might have noticed something a little "different" about how this episode looks compared to the previous ones. That's because, for the first time ever, I decided to try making this episode in a 21:9 aspect ratio! (aka "Cinemascope" or "Ultrawide"). I decided to try animating in a wider aspect ratio this time to try to make the episode feel a bit more "cinematic" and unique. I might make more episodes like this in the future (well, at least longer and more "special" episodes like this one). I've made a couple of animations in 4:3 before, but never in 21:9 before this. So I really hope this pays off! Anyways, enjoy the cartoon! Jane Doe Little Secret

Jane Doe from ZZZ

Old commercial from the 1960s (or is it?)

"The other day, I was cleaning out my attic. However, in there, I've soon stumbled across an old, dusty VHS tape. I have no idea where it came from. Maybe it was something the previous owners of the house left behind. So I put the tape into my VHS player, and what was played was interesting... It was an old commercial for a cereal brand called "Generic Cereal", and starred what appeared to be super early versions of Johnnie, Janie, and Wolfin The Wolf from TrouserToons. Was this perhaps one of the earliest appearances of these characters? Did I just discover some lost media? Does the history of these characters really go this far back? Regardless, I've decided to rip the footage from the VHS and upload it online for all to see." Nah, I'm just messing with you XD. However, there's still a story behind this one. A big inspiration for the characters of Johnnie and Janie (and by extension, TrouserToons as a whole) was actually those short animations that would play on TV back in the 50s-70s. Such as those short cartoons that used to be shown on Sesame Street, and even old animated commercials from that time! The old "Trix Rabbit" commercials especially! In fact, I noticed that the earliest Trix Rabbit commercials had the rabbit go up against what appeared the exact same pair of kids, one boy and one girl. Sure, they'd sometimes look slightly different depending on the commercial, they still looked like variations of the same boy and girl designs. I assume by the late 60s, the creators of the commercials figured that it would've been more interesting to have different and unique designs for the kids in every commercial rather than it just be the same boy and girl every time lol. Those original boy and girl characters as well as the boy and girl characters from that old "Egg Chant" sketch from Sesame Street were actually THE inspirations for Johnnie and Janie by the way. No kidding, I designed them after I started imagining what a full series starring a pair of twins who looked like those older characters would be like (I have a weird imagination XD). So, I decided to attempt to make an animation in a "1960s style", parodying the oldest Trix Cereal commercials, complete with redesigns of my characters. Since they were a big inspiration for TrouserToons as a whole, I wanted to see how the series would look like if I tried to fully "commit" to that style. Of course, this probably doesn't look super authentic, but it was still an interesting experiment! I decided to include Wolfin The Wolf as the "Rabbit" stand-in (except here, it isn't just the cereal that he wants to eat!). And I'm actually pretty proud of Wolfin's redesign in particular. So much so that I almost want to make it his permanent design now! Almost. Now that I've done all my rambling, enjoy! XD
