The journey towards completing EPISODE 2 is now live on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/worldoftalon/talon-and-the-champions-of-saurithia-episode-2 Talon and the Champions of Saurithia is a sci-fi/fantasy indie animated epic series featuring power-wielding dinosaurs (and reptiles), expansive world-building, and extraterrestrial threats. Come along with us as we set out on this prehistoric quest! Set in the late Cretaceous period, our series follows Talon, a courageous young Dakotaraptor born with magical elemental powers she at first didn’t understand. Alongside her friends Kota and Luck, Talon must find the eight other Champions and embark on a journey that will transform the prehistoric world and save the universe from a dark fate. In episode 2, Talon and the gang begin their search for the true Fire Champion. The first step on their journey to unite the eight elemental Champions. But this time, things won't play out the same. There's more than one dinosaur who can control fire, and there can be only one Fire Champion. To choose the next Champion, our Fire Contenders (Rham, Sass, Cari, and Ace) must face a trial of STRENGTH and impress BLAZE, the Fire Master. Who do you think will be our next Champion? Be a part of our indie animation journey and help us bring the next episode of Talon and the Champions of Saurithia to life! We need your support to keep creating and telling these stories. This is a fananimation about Touhou:Project & Madness Combat

The main video is finally out! Sorry to keep you all waiting an extra day. After a full year of production—where we were working on it almost every single day, and FH_KEviL_WenBoSt was practically working 24/7 during the final stretch—Episode 4 is finally complete.Note: This animation contains some graphic wounds and depictions of violent action. If you feel uncomfortable, please exit in time. Also, as this is a fan-made work, please do not watch it with the expectation that it strictly follows the original canon. After Reimu dealt with the two little devils and took a brief rest, she continued her mission: to find the mastermind behind the Scarlet Mist Incident—Remilia. But how could it be easy to get in touch with the boss of a faction? From this point on, fairies start to appear in more variants: there are those specializing in throwing knives, more elite-type big fairies, and the most difficult existence to deal with—Remilia's highest-ranking subordinate, the Head Maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Sakuya Izayoi. She is currently the toughest enemy, and the battle against her takes up a significant portion of the animation. Thank you so much for all your support for this animation. See you all in the next episode, Episode 5.Happy Madness Day 2026! Behind the Scenes:The production of this episode went through many difficulties, including but not limited to: the production software crashing, lighting effects exceeding the software's limits, excessive asset sizes making it difficult to export, and wasted production time due to my communication and handoff issues. My relationship with FH_KEviL_WenBoSt also got strained for a while, but fortunately, it didn't severely impact the production, and we managed to finish it before Madness Day ended. Actually, Episode 4 was originally planned to end at the 8-minute mark, but I got carried away making the scene of Reimu fighting Sakuya and added over 2 extra minutes. Luckily, it was completed in the end. The successful release wouldn't have been possible without FH's help; he only slept for 8 hours over these three days, spending the rest of the time producing and exporting. Huge thanks to him for his help. I might need to take a break for a while now. Thanks again for everyone's support.

The 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. animated!

This animation is a sequel to my very first hand-drawn animation. This time around, I used a Huion drawing tablet instead of drawing with purely a mouse. The quality is quite a bit different . . . maybe I'll need to remake the first at some point . . . Check out the original animation here, if you haven't seen it yet: Super Mario Over the Years! 1 - Unfortunately, you'll have to watch it on YT because I didn't have a NG account back then :( Isn't it technically the 41st now of Super Mario Bros?: Lol, yes - this project is a culmination of short vids I've been putting out during the 40th anniversary across my socials, plus a bunch more! I still wanted to call this an animation for the 40th, as it's the bigger milestone year than the 41st. I also just work slowly, and had a bunch of ideas, causing the release time to continuously get pushed back. Art Direction I've had the thought for quite some time to make a more faithful animation to the Mario series to emulate and honor the stylistic choices of Yōichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. My decision on the art direction also came down to me wanting to "understand the generations of Mario” from its official art standpoint. Furthermore, I wanted to embellish some of Mario's movements, not limited to the games, to give a greater sense of action and adventure! I referenced all types of official cover art, licensed activity books, instruction manuals, classic 80s/90s commercials and other promotional material for the games and time periods. It took way more effort than my past simpler, often rough character animations - but it was totally worth it! For later games in the franchise, including games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey Characters, I choose to fuse the official render designs with the linework used in the manual art in the earlier games. I wanted the animation to have the hand drawn feel, but still have the evolution of Mario's design aimed to hit several of the "key poses" from the Super Mario Bros official art, and “bring them to life” in the animation. In order to execute this idea, I started with several of the key frames as these key poses, with some adjustments (like eye movements, hand placements, or perspective tweaks) to flow with the animation. As far as the backgrounds go, they involve a stylistic approach to Shigehisa Nakaue's work on the fairly consistent Nintendo summer artwork. I tried to simulate this by blending some watercolor texture scans I painted with digital watercolor brushes created in Photoshop to create laying and show a brush stroke on a more rough, coarse paper. The color usage references the internal colors displayed when playing the games on their respective consoles. This challenged me when it came to using a very monochromatic color scheme in Super Mario Land's Birabuto dungeon to quite the opposite of using a wide array of color in Mario's character animation in the Super Mario Odyssey segment. Easter Eggs Woah, you actually read up to this point? Okay, well, I'll let you in on a little secret: this animation is jam packed with a ton of hidden secrets/collectables. Try to spot the following:

Bosses and/or friendly side characters from each game

References to different Nintendo game console generations

5 cherries to give you "invincibility"

2 wonder seeds for a "sense of curiosity"

Franchise game/console codenames

A bunch of coins. Count all of them if you dare and they may reveal some meaningful Mario number lol . . . The following are variations of coins and values associated with them (does their final value mean anything?):

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Regular/Gold Coin - Simply 1 Coin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Red Coin (SM64) - 1 Red Coin = 2 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Blue Coin (SM64) - 1 Blue Coin = 5 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Purple Regional Coin (SMO) - 1 Regional Coin = 2 Coins Credits Music in chronological order:0:00 ~ Super Mario Bros 2. - Ground Theme ~ Super Smash Bros. A Short Fight Animation made on Flipnote N3DS

Hello guys. This will be my last fight animation for this month. Thanks for supporting me but I need some break again. Hope you enjoyed the full movie. It took me a month actually for this cause damn. Adding clothes to my characters makes it more time demanding. And if we talk about the limited layers and colors of flipnote. Things got harder doing this animation.

Limited animation test of the bug boys doing a mundane task

I was fascinated by a clip I saw of Ed, Edd, n’ Eddy where the three of them simply navigated a fence door but did it in unique ways that got across their character. Wanted to see if I could do something like that with a similarly mundane task.

Bug Boys Throwing Away Paper

An animated short written and directed by Matthew Davidson.

Back in 2021, when I was a student at high school, and after working on Two Friends, I made another short called Animal Rescue. It's an original short with its original characters and story and sort of inspired by the Peppa Pig episode "The Flying Vet", but is not an adaptation of any previous material or related to it in terms of plot. Also, it's the final of two of my finest animated shorts with limited animation and stick figure character designs before moving forward to drawing with dimension and learning the twelve principles of animation.

DEATHXREBIRTH - Episode 1 | Season 1 - "Dan."

"I am the Vend-a-cure 9000, please proceed to urinate, try not to splash me!" Boy, ain't this a full circle moment, the first episode of season 6 has the same villain as the FIRST episode EVER, tho history didn't fully repeat itself, but it did rhyme :D Special thanks to @jozatheman for voicing Orbit Presley & @fraffron3473 for voicing Dr Franklin! Despite some complications behind the scenes, it was still fun and I like the final result. It's not without flaws of course, sadly the sound design can still be hit or miss. I am sadly never home alone, so I always have to lower my PC audio to not bother others while the actual video audio becomes unintentionally louder (Or sometimes it's the opposite) But at least most of the dialogue is normal! The Music is from Quake Scourge of Armagon & Half Life 1: https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/quake-mission-pack-1-scourge-of-armagon https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/half-life-original-soundtrack I'm also gonna be "sharpening" my normal art style in future episodes, the more 3-Dimensional Looney Tunes Esque character designs (Whether it's the one off characters or background characters) not only don't fit with the already established cast but the intentionally limited smear movements just don't lend themselves with the more detailed designs of the older episodes, so going the UPA route is not only more fitting but it's what I prefer anyway! Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this animation, it's not super impressive or ambitious, I decided to start out small cause I haven't animated in a month cause I was on a break, but hopefully in the future, I'll be slightly more ambitious. Thanks for watching and cya in the future! you dig!

The Robot from Uranus

Buzz Bunny... Well, erm... Burns the blunt I supopose.

So this is a bit of an unanticipated upload but the next Screwypilled Tooncels cartoon still isn't complete and I'm trying to relax on my California trip since it's not that long(next time I wanna stay longer for SURE though I love it here) despite me initially wanting to have completed it here so I can say I made a cartoon in California.... I still wanted to deliver something though and I remembered Dirty Soda had a character, Dizzy, from this cartoon. This is my Illustration class project final, originally screened on April 24th of this year. I wanted to use my animation expertise in a classroom full of Graphic Design majors, though the animation is very limited since it wasn't an animation class. It almost looks like Rocky and Bullwinkle at times. But everyone was absolutely howling. I made some changes from the version I showed in class though, you can see that version on YouTube. Namely, I changed the background music to Ghost of Sheperd's Pie by Geoffrey Burch because apparently Happy Go-Lively by Laurie Johnson from the Ren and Stimpy soundtrack isn't public domain/copyright-free despite feeling like it should be tbh, and I didn't find out until after I had made that version. I also got rid of the film grain since that was actually added at the request of my professor when I explained I was parodying old PSA cartoons like One Beer and Sonic Sez, and changed the name to Buzz Bunny Burns The Blunt to differentiate it from the Screwypilled Tooncels One Joint cartoon. Another key difference is that I restored the suicide joke cut from the version I presented in class. But enough yapping, you guys let me know which version you like best. Here's concept art. I initially tried making Buzz look as stupid as fuck as possible. Just look at this idiot: As well as this comic version I made to present to my class alongside the animated version to promote my portfolio site to classmates:

First and foremost, I apologize for how long this one took in coming out, as I was sick for nearly 2 whole weeks earlier this month. But luckily it all worked out and I could complete it before Halloween. This project is actually a bit of an interesting one because it's a remake of a project I did for 3D Animation class last fall when we had to do a creatures themed short for Halloween, which is why everyone here is more round as they were originally low poly Animal Crossing-style models. I came up with these killer teddy bears, their C-3POesque worrywart owl friend, a rude scarecrow who's lost his scaring mojo and his pumpkin minion. This is the first Screwypilled Tooncels short that doesn't feature Rick, Roxy, Freddy or any of what my primary characters that I dub ''The Looneywood Acres Gang''. I did have a Halloween one with them planned but again, as I fell sick I had limited time and this one was further along completion. Plus I wanted to introduce these guys because they're just one in a group of rotating cast of Animaniacs/KaBlam-inspired secondary ensemble characters. I may eventually just pull a Smiling Friends and drop that one out of season so look forward to that.... This Christmas! Or Valentine's Day... Or Easter.... Regardless, I guess Rick's Demon Dilemma can sort of count as this year's Halloween cartoon with said Looneywood Acres crew since it had demons and released close enough to October. Those with a keen eye may notice I've actually featured these guys in a couple of easter eggs in some past projects since I like to do a lot of foreshadowing and early cameos. Here they finally are in the flesh! I initially intended to make them my sort of ''B'' segment cartoon but lately I'm leaning into making them more of a Kang and Kodos/Mr.Hankey deal where they only appear during their respective holiday season. This is also the first time Clover the puppy from my Hellhounds student movie has a proper speaking appearance in this series so I guess he's officially carried over from that. I may make my next cartoon feature Snowball, the other doggie that stole the heart of my classmates back in the spring.~~~~~~~~~~Sound courtesy of Pixabay Music:"Teddy Bear Waltz" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Watch on YouTube
