music video i created for one of my band's songs. here's the 4k upload on youtube to preserve some of the dark information. youtube compression still sucks though. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjhyHgUvXVA" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjhyHgUvXVA</a> the first half was created in Blender 2.79 for that proper old Blender Render look. then, i ran it through my VCR and recorded it onto VHS, then did that 4 times for generation loss. the second half was shot with a Canon C100 Mark II with a Super-Takumar 55mm f1.8 and Kollmorgen-Kosaka 2x anamorphic adapter. it was edited and graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio 21. music was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Ableton Live 11.

It's been hard working on this, countless nights I just stopped after working for 5 minutes to cry. And i think i missed the comprehensive part lol. it was very clumped together due to the 1 minute lock, but im half proud of how it came out. This is guy actually won first place in my school county for a Technology Competition. I really don't like it. at all...it could've been better to be honest. but i know people love art period, So ill post what i made. I just used Rines Story from STS, a story me and my twin brother are writing. Here's the the context. (EXTRA INFO GIVEN TO THE TEACHER.) In this Animated Music Video, about loss and new beginnings, this will be almost storyboard like with a small hint of life. its about how rine and youth end up in somewhere entirely new. the video will be hand-drawn, and the characters will vary in color to showcase main feelings and emotions. mostly purple to show how privileged Rine's life was before the war. it will also feature an absence of faces to keep the simplicity. The music will be a somber opera like music. It's All surrounding the theme of loss. ---let's be honest. This story wasn't made on the spot. But it was dumbed down in creation for this music video. It's a plot for something much larger that is currently being worked on. The reason I chose this story of mine was because of its symbolism for my personal life. Growing up me and my family were moving once every 2 years mostly during Halloween. Which led to us missing some pretty cool memories. Me and my twin brother were forced to make new friends over and over and this story kind of resembles that. Rine would be me, struggling with identity and just moving into high school, And G.Y would be my brother. Quiet, Smart. Etc. I know the loss of home more than anyone when it comes to this sort of stuff. That's why I believe this story will be great when others can relate. Even if they don't relate, It's still a pretty dang interesting story.

After spending several weeks among these higher primates, I, Invader L'Li have come to a conclusion that they know more than I have observed. That is why I have secretly installed wide range brain scanner inside of one of their learning domiciles concealed as a cardboard scale model of their planet on a tilted axis. After several nights of testing it on my primate test subject, I have found that it causes a sense of disconnection with one's surroundings as well as a case of short term memory loss during the duration of exposure, which will be useful should we use this device in other settings. With this device, and the help of a disguise procured from a now neutralized primate, we will learn what secrets and capabilities these creature possess, and what uses we may have for them in the upcoming invasion. I plan to run the device tonight as I've learn there will be a small study group there, I'm running a small risk by doing it long range, but as long as there isn't any signal interference from nearby wireless communication devices there shouldn't be any feedback error.

I've been working more and more on idle animations and footwork, alongside Ui elements and other visuals. I'm really happy we're finally able to beginning to wrap up the prologue with the climax happening past this episode. I think the emotion held in this animation outweighs the lack of action or progress. Bob is finally concluding his worth and development as a character. Everytime i listen to this song, it makes me frown how hard it hits and the similarities i could associate with Peter. The loss of comfort, wanting to feel protected and someone by your side, wanting to feel young once again, not ready to witness new horrors. Despite having Dahlia on his side and closer, it still feels missing. Peter needs more than comfort and security, he misses youth and freedom.
