We TST hosts apparently spend our weekends quite differently from eachother.

I'm still not sure where this footage is coming from, but I keep finding VHS tapes around the studio. Apparently this is what E;R is doing when he say he needs a "Rain check for this week." This was the animated intro for The Today Show Tonight - #44, and originally aired August 28th, 2026. I created, animated, and edited everything seen in the video, outside of the audio. (And the ant) This animation was admittedly a bit thrown together at the last minute, so it's a bit rough around the edges, but I'm putting together more dynamic environments and props. The ant was a free model I found online, that I have since lost the link to, but it was under CC license so I think I'm good. I don't think I would've gotten to do the gag I wanted if I hadn't found that model, as it's a throwback to an older episode of the podcast where Johann was eaten alive by ants. Go check it out. One hypothesis is that the tape's original purpose mayhave been artistic or persuasive, but the absence of dialogue, signs and context makesdrawing conclusions difficult. Another hypothesis notes similarities between personsobserved in this footage and in the footage for archive #001, which suggests a potentiallink between locations. Current hypotheses remain unresolved due to record quality andmissing context. Noted: The end of the footage displays a Windows-based recording UI. Thiswas not added in post, suggesting the tape was a rerecording.

This is so far putting my movie at about the 50 minute point; 20 minutes until I reach what I consider a video's footage to be at a movie's length. I'm not getting too much hopes up with this film of mine, as I feel that I haven't given enough related to story and have instead only been trying to tie as much ends as I can, but also that this is my very first film without any sort of experience in filmmaking whatsoever. I also plan on that I finish this movie after three years at max and post the movie in its entirety online and expect nothing else. Another thing I would like to note is also planning on posting these parts onto YouTube hopefully by the start of next year, because I haven't been active on my channel a lot recently and would like to focus more on publicizing my movie outside of Newgrounds rather than isolate it here. I want to grow an audience, and I hope that I can make whatever I can possible by the end of next year. See you later,Juniper C. Martinez

OPENSHOT CAN YOU STOP MAKING THE VID FLICKER

Hey Openshot can you like, not make the video flicker when I'm working on it, thanksseriously what the hell openshot i'm trying to make a video here and you're just making the footage blink WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TELLING ME anyways....It's been way too long since I did one of these, holy crap. I wanted to encapsulate my feelings about how discouraged I've felt from making videos with my OCs in them, or really any characters, for that matter. I also tried working with my Android tablet with Drawpile for this, hence the experimental label, but rendering this video is the same as always; my laptop with Openshot. Before you ask, yes. I've tried rendering this video with different presets selected within Openshot and I would either not have the intro play or it would just still flicker and IT'S SUPER ANNOYING, THIS WASN'T A PROBLEM BEFORE. I tried man, I really did, but jesus christ if I had to render this vid a few more times I woulda lost my mind so y'know what? Fuck it, I'd rather get this vid up than never have it existing in the first place. .... Maybe I'll just stick with making vids the classic way, 'ol Windows Movie Maker style. Didn't quite reach that 100% I was aiming for with the result. IDK it's because I had the dimensions of the assets be 1/2 the size and then later on resized up to be 100% instead of 50%, but like, uuuuuuuuuuughhhh this was a pain to deal with. Do I need a different video editor or something? I have zero idea man. Music is from Pixabay (don't worry newgrounds it's fair use).

The return yall probably didn’t expect and didn’t care for, but THE RETURN of PuggyPugsonYT’s version of TomSka’s AsdfMovie (both 15 and 16 combined in this one!)As mentioned in my previous animation’s description (FEEL LIKE YOU: https://youtu.be/jP4fbf8TvD8) I’m officially back to animating random bullsh*t!Back in like 2024, I announced I would quit animating due to lack of motivation, and with that, the Mr. Caring Carl’s Cheeseburger Making animation I was working on at the time was cancelled, and the footage I worked on up to the cancellation was posted to my IG, and ever since then, I was more focused on Puggy’s Piggy Shorts, my series based off of Roblox Piggy! With now especially, with the lack of uploads recently, lesser and lesser ideas for PPS content, I’ve suddenly gained the motivation again to animate stuff, especially with me currently on summer break, might as well pass the time with making some animations during this drought of content on the channel, starting with not only that animation meme I made about my OC, Sir Geminore Staticus II, but with the return of AsdfMovie (PuggyPugsonYT Edition!) another one of those Asdf recreations that you’d see back in 2020-2021, a lil even now!Along with this, I’m considering reviving Mr. Caring Carl’s Cheeseburger Making again, along with another animation story idea I have (all previous ideas like Kyle The Cat and others never seeing the light of day) are now just scrapped, due to them being just bad ideas overall with it clearly being because I was at a younger age at the time of making those ideas. But anyways, enjoy this Asdf recreation of 15-16, but with MY characters! VOODOO VIDS EPISODE 4: IN BRUCE WE TRUST Episode 4 is upon us and I hope you enjoy it! I'm aware that many people may not have seen the original Evil Dead movie. And you don't need to have seen it to have some fun in this episode, but there are a lot of references here that are connected to the Evil Dead series. If you want some more context before watching, maybe check out the last edition of the Spooky Zine. ABOUT THE SPOOKY ZINEThe spooky zine is a once a month mini mag that explores some more of the local lore and connects with the episodes and world of voodoo vids in a way that's external to the animation. They are a bit of fun, but also can contain wider context for viewers that want to have some additional context. Or maybe you just want to read more about what's happening in the wider universe. A LOVE LETTER TO EVIL DEADThis episode is a love letter to Evil Dead and nods to the horror classic in certain ways I hope you would find nostalgic and at the same time, perhaps encourage some new people to seek out The Evil dead movies if you haven't seen them. You have to have a passion for old school splatter gore horror. But it's got a great blend of gore and comic styled over the top supernatural elements that are sure to delight, and Bruce Campbell is just brilliant as Ash Williams. I'm super excited to learn that there are rumors Bruce may even return to the movies in some capacity. I know currently Bruce is battling cancer, which is awful news, but as he said himself, "Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch".I along with many fans are wishing him a good battle and hope he gets well soon! I'd love to see him on the big screen in Evil Dead again! Beyond this point there will be episode 4 spoilers so return to read the rest after you've seen the episode. BEHIND THE SCENES OF EPISODE 4This episode took a lot longer to make than the others, I hope that shows and also thank you for your patience. The script went through a few re writes and last minute changes that extended the runtime. Having every character in a single episode comes with more challenges, making sure to give each of them a good scene. But I think it was worth it as if you like any character in particular they are all present in this one. THAT ICONIC INTROIf you are familiar with Evil Dead you will have noticed I did my best to pay homage to the opener from Evil Dead 2 that explains the Necronomicon's origins. Making that was so much fun, animating the front cover of the book, combining it with some stock footage of an ocean that I tinted red, and for the "ink effect" on the page reveals I used some simple track mattes of real ink drop footage to do that. I love how it turned out.I also did the narration in the intro, I rearranged elements of the original script to work better with the set up for this parody. My goal was to allow people who've never heard of, or watched Evil dead to get up to speed as quickly as possible with the idea that "this book is bad news" TECHNICAL STUFFOne of the biggest challenges is creating new environments and props. Something you see on screen for a few seconds in a few shots has had to be created from scratch. Some times I over engineer stuff too and I probably could've made the chainsaw without an actually animated chain... but because I did, It allowed me to get some cool camera angles of it in action. Same can be said for the shotgun that Franklin is using. it is based of the same model they used in Evil Dead 2, the original film Ash used a single barreled Winchester, but the sequel it was a 12 guage double barrel Stevens model, and later in the 3rd movie it was a double barrel Stoeger Coach Gun, which is lovingly referred to now as "The Boomstick"Ash famously saws the barrel off in Evil Dead 2. Of course I needed a forest. Not any easy set to build but I made it easy by cutting a lot of corners, the whole forest set is just a simple plane with a particle system placing tree images randomly across the surface.I made it within an hour and the lighting is doing most of the heavy lifting. which is again fairly simple. I like my renders to not take AGES. Most of the animation scenes take about 4-5 seconds per frame. So the forest was as basic as it needed to be. Paul's date cutaway was another external set that required a suburban feel to it. so I modeled some simple houses and kept camera angles to a minimum and focused only on what I needed. it was a very short scene so keeping the set small was important... but I could probably use it again in future should the need arise.Voodoo Vids itself as a set is the biggest and most detailed because I wanted a space where I can point the camera pretty much anywhere and have a great shot. A lot of time was spent on that, but it still needs work and more will come to the set eventually. Another huge time save has been using multiple cameras within the same scene and swapping between them. traditionally I would've worked on one scene per camera shot, but using Blenders camera marker system I can have multiple cameras that I can cut to whenever I need. so I can animate the whole scene in one blend file. This also makes it easier to alter small parts or fix things in post easier without having to dig through a load of different scene files. MUFFINMuffin the Dog was referenced in the Spooky Zine and fun fact, he is voiced by our own dog Podrick. Recording his various noises is fun. To get his taco crunching sounds we used a Poppadom, he very much enjoys working with us when there's food involved. The next two episodes will probably be a little shorter again too not keep the gaps too long between them. AND for the finale there's going to be another great addition to the page that you can all experience and join in. more on that soon.We may even see some more new characters too!! FINAL NOTEThank you all for watching and a special thanks to Bruce Campbell and Director Sam Raimi for making a bonkers horror franchise that inspires fans and creators still to this day.As for Voodoo Vids please share it if you can, tell people about It! Your support is greatly appreciated with every like, vote, comment. It will be available on youtube next week, right now they remain as Newgrounds exclusives at launch. If you want to know anything else about production or things I've not mentioned here, then please ask. more than happy to answer any questions.See you in the next one! and look out for the next edition of the Spooky Zine for some more info soon!

【Spore MMD】MOD Showcase: サンドリヨン / Cendrillon - ft. Satari & Pyrotarim

Disclaimer: "EA is gonna be owned by the Saudi Arabia government, who has a track record of modern slavery, genocide and human rights violation. Do not purchase Spore from places that return revenue to it. Obtain Spore through other ways. As usual, this is an unedited real-time in-game Spore footage, include screen filter, title card and subtitles." Hewwwoooo! Sorry I disappeared for a while! I was working on different material shaders that can be used in Spore! And here you can see them in action! This is the Parallax Occlusion Mapping (POM) used for the bottom windows, and the translucence volumetric light beams! The dance today is performed by my 2 favorite OCs, Satari and Pyrotarim! I did some changes to Satari to fix his hair and make his mouth and face moveable, while Pyrotarim got a complete remake as his model was quite outdated lol. Cendrillon does have a lot of weird jumps and unfortunately sometimes desync with the camera. Took me quite a bit to get this video lol. Overall this turned out a lot better than I expected and I'm really happy with the results so tell me what you think in the comments! Old commercial from the 1960s (or is it?)

"The other day, I was cleaning out my attic. However, in there, I've soon stumbled across an old, dusty VHS tape. I have no idea where it came from. Maybe it was something the previous owners of the house left behind. So I put the tape into my VHS player, and what was played was interesting... It was an old commercial for a cereal brand called "Generic Cereal", and starred what appeared to be super early versions of Johnnie, Janie, and Wolfin The Wolf from TrouserToons. Was this perhaps one of the earliest appearances of these characters? Did I just discover some lost media? Does the history of these characters really go this far back? Regardless, I've decided to rip the footage from the VHS and upload it online for all to see." Nah, I'm just messing with you XD. However, there's still a story behind this one. A big inspiration for the characters of Johnnie and Janie (and by extension, TrouserToons as a whole) was actually those short animations that would play on TV back in the 50s-70s. Such as those short cartoons that used to be shown on Sesame Street, and even old animated commercials from that time! The old "Trix Rabbit" commercials especially! In fact, I noticed that the earliest Trix Rabbit commercials had the rabbit go up against what appeared the exact same pair of kids, one boy and one girl. Sure, they'd sometimes look slightly different depending on the commercial, they still looked like variations of the same boy and girl designs. I assume by the late 60s, the creators of the commercials figured that it would've been more interesting to have different and unique designs for the kids in every commercial rather than it just be the same boy and girl every time lol. Those original boy and girl characters as well as the boy and girl characters from that old "Egg Chant" sketch from Sesame Street were actually THE inspirations for Johnnie and Janie by the way. No kidding, I designed them after I started imagining what a full series starring a pair of twins who looked like those older characters would be like (I have a weird imagination XD). So, I decided to attempt to make an animation in a "1960s style", parodying the oldest Trix Cereal commercials, complete with redesigns of my characters. Since they were a big inspiration for TrouserToons as a whole, I wanted to see how the series would look like if I tried to fully "commit" to that style. Of course, this probably doesn't look super authentic, but it was still an interesting experiment! I decided to include Wolfin The Wolf as the "Rabbit" stand-in (except here, it isn't just the cereal that he wants to eat!). And I'm actually pretty proud of Wolfin's redesign in particular. So much so that I almost want to make it his permanent design now! Almost. Now that I've done all my rambling, enjoy! XD

An extended scene after the True Pacifist ending. Someone's missing from the story.

UNDERTALE is a lovely, fun little game. For a long time, I've had Chara's journey on my mind. While they are the most absent from the game, their presence and influence is strong. Chara, much like Asriel, was just a child. They hated themselves much like Asriel did when he became a flower. What would they have thought? We never get to see their perspective in the true pacifist route... I wrote a rough draft of this months ago, but I wanted to turn this into footage. I made the custom sprites for it, but I'm not good enough in GameMaker to make my own system. I also did not want to do it in the one programming language I'm familiar with that could replicate the look of UNDERTALE, Scratch. With Phi's help, this is now a reality. hello!!! so a lot of really cool things happened; I got asked to write a song to feature on a Vocaloid/voice synth emo compilation, and now I've made a music video to go for it! ^ o^)9 this is my song "underneath the sun", track #6 on the "eingebrannt" compilation album!!!! come check it out, if you love singing robots and angsty rock music! hehe.https://tatsuyakitani.com/eingebrannt/ the song's about that feeling, of everything a child could say to those that brought them up, but still limits the things they can do, and the things they can be. it's something I've personally related to for a very long time, and I feel like I'm not the only one.this MV's a mix of a lot of things; B-roll travel footage, geometry, typography, character illustrations and silhouettes, 3D compositions; I feel like I can really do a lot of things with my options now hehe. I really wanted to go all-out with this. I hope you like it too! ^^ song and visuals by ippo.tsk (me!)https://bsky.app/profile/ippotsk.bsky.socialhttps://www.ippotsk.comget the song:https://ippotsk.bandcamp.com/album/underneath-the-sun-2https://ampwall.com/a/ippotsk/album/underneath-the-sun lyrics:verse:raw distance to mask the pain of the hearthow far do you wanna take this?far enough to match the way you gave up I'm ready for one more fake kisseasy to shelve, your hopes and your dreamsbut it's easier when you can shove them onto meso what's next? prechorus:don't be surprised that I'd rejectall the hands that kept me fed, upwithout asking, much less begI've spent too much, received too little if this ain't good enough, then I am as good as it will get'cause once I walk out of that door, you cannot use my name again chorus:underneath the sun, we mournreplay the tape until it fadesand your eyes grow sore'cause underneath the sun, we burnbut we are also free verse 2:"the time is up, you said you've amounted to some, how long must I keep you on the shelf?"long enough to make you proud, Oberonis this any way to treat myself?reasonable, never werebut I, too, have never learned"care can also be a curse" chorus 2: underneath the sunday morn' we play the part until we break, and it's all we knowbut underneath the sun, we burnyet we are all so free bridge:if you are someone with the meansand in no rush to be fedlet your children try their dreamsand acknowledge where they're headedbefore you say "not good enough"know that they're as good as you will get'cause even though you know best, you will never be them chorus 3:underneath the sun, we mournreplay the tape until it fadesand your eyes grow soreunderneath the sun, we burnbut we are also free remember, you are yours aloneto fly.

Hypothetically, what's this game gonna be about?

THE BESTEST GAME EVER! During a nighttime shift at a gas station convenience store, two coworkers think aloud what their epic video game should be about. Finally here, my biggest short film! (so far at least) This was such a fun animation to create over the course of a few months :')This was quite an experience for me working on this project as well. Including experimenting with more lip-sync animation, voice acting for the first time, and multi-media animation! It was albeit, very challenging, but imo very rewarding.I wanna say a huge thank you to everyone who helped support this film along its process with me. I especially want to thank my husband @octopus58 for many things with this project, but most importantly supporting my creative endeavors. I couldn't have done it without you :) <3 And of course, if you're reading this, thank you for watching! :3 yt: https://www.youtube.com/@mycoffeetoospicytwid: https://twitter.com/ItsASpicyCoffeeinst: https://www.instagram.com/mycoffeetoospicy his yt: https://www.youtube.com/@OctoNotetwid: https://twitter.com/MGFlow58twid 2: https://twitter.com/octopus58 Credits CastSpicy Coffee (me) - Sadie, Zoey, KatieOctopus58 - Old Guy, Joey Animation - Spicy Coffee (me again) Additional Gameplay Footage (Unity) - Octopus58 Original Soundtrack - OctoNote (Octopus58) Sound EffectsFreesound.orgOpenGameArt.orgPixabay Special ThanksThesis Shmeesus GroupMy Friends & Family uhhhhh uhm uhh ummmmmmmm uh....

SUPERDAVE DIRECTOR’S CUT

@PukeBomb presents...Squidward's Suicide 2 I was an intern at Pukebomb Inc. in 2005, where I got to view new cartoons before they aired. One day, while in the editing room, we watched what was supposed to be "Squitward & Spingebill's Epic Adventure to Chowder." Instead, the title card read "Squitward's Suicide," which we thought was a morbid joke. The episode began normally, but soon became unsettling. Squitward was complaining about his job and the recent shortage of employees, not knowing where to turn to. Spingebill began making sexual comments to him, clearly putting The Squit' at unease. We then returned to Squitward's den, with him seriously contemplating his life. Out of nowhere, he began looking straight towards us, with hyper-realistic eyes. The voice actor at the time for Spingebill, @Bro-son, then appeared in all four corners of the screen, beckoning and taunting Squitward. This was one of the last pieces of footage I've ever seen of him since his untimely demise. The sound cut out, and Squitward disappeared, while a faint sound of wind grew in the background. As the episode progressed, disturbing images of Squitward riding slides flashed on the screen in a slideshow-esque fashion, and Squitward's sobbing turned into screams. The animation became increasingly graphic, culminating in Squitward committing suicide with a shotgun, which we needed to cut from this final release due to its hyper-realistic and graphic nature. Afterward, the creator, Mr. @SepticSebi, was called in, and an investigation revealed that the file had been altered just before we viewed it. Despite the investigation, no clues were found, and the incident remains unexplained. This experience has left me questioning the nature of reality and the unexplainable. Before shutting down in 2011, it was known that Astrabox Media was working on a prototype for a mobile game; this is part of the footage that could recently be recovered.
