Big mecha reveal

howdy again y'all ^^, I'm glad to see everyone whose down here bothering to read the description. Like the previous animatic, my goal with this animatic again was speed. I definately learned a few things from making this animatic that I hope to bring into future projects. Given that It's only been a week since my last upload I'd definately say that I succeeded in my stated goal. now that i know I CAN crank out something like 1 minute of animatic a week I do think that i'm going to focus on the quality aspect of my next couple of animatics. If i have to choose between a higher quality animatic/animation or the oppurtunity to tell more visual stories I'm tempted to go down the latter route. If your familiar with the cheap fast good triangle i'm most tempted to pick cheap and fast. yes i'm aware of some of the technical issues in the animatic, my hope is that i'll be able to take these animatics and produce something thats both longer and maybe something thats in color in the nearish future. so that everything ABOUT making the animatic but as far as the story itself this scene is so pose to take place after the events of my comic mecha-gear. the comic isn't fully uploaded yet. The general idea is to make a mecha anime type of thing. Now like the last animatic I hope that I was able to make you feel something. have nice day y'all ^^

Luo Bao Bei Bailando Reparto

Today is a very special day, because it is officially the 20th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros. Z! Even to this day, this little sprite animation series holds a very special place in my heart, inspiring me to do what I’m best known for with my own sprite animations! And to celebrate this special occasion, I made my own “retake” of yet another iconic fight scene from that series, being “Mario and Sonic VS Mecha Sonic” from SMBZ Episode 7! I had just as much fun with making this as I did with Semi-Super Metallix VS Axem Rangers X back in 2024, so I hope you all enjoy this new revamped take on Ep. 7’s fight scene, too, and I think it would be incredible if Mark Haynes himself saw this, so please share this video around and give it the attention I think it deserves, same for Mark’s series, too, whenever Episode 3 of his reboot comes out (but I can wait for that day to come one day haha)

Happy 17th anniversary to SMBZ Episode 6!

Of all the fight scenes in Super Mario Bros. Z that I keep seeing people make fan-made remakes of, Semi-Super Mecha Sonic VS the Axem Rangers X is probably the most common. I don’t blame them, though, it is great! And I thought, “I wonder what this fight would look like in my animation style…” And here we are; although, instead of Mecha Sonic for my remake of this fight scene, I instead decided to up the stakes and instead use Metallix from the SMBZ reboot, plus I just think he’s cooler (no pun intended XD). In all seriousness, I hope you enjoy this take of mine on this fight scene, as it was really fun to make! Who knows? This might give Mark Haynes some ideas for whenever he officially remakes this fight scene ;) And if you saw the release date of this video, it’s coincidentally the 17th anniversary of SMBZ Episode 6 (specifically here, for its Newgrounds upload). I thought this would be a nice way to celebrate it, and I hope you all enjoy the video! Also, I both updated my intro and outro, and even used this cool new video editor called “WEILO, My Last Video Editor”, and man, is it great! Definitely using it MUCH more often for future videos, especially for Episode 2 of Mario, Sonic and Kirby: Warriors of Chaos, coming hopefully this December! Super Mario Bros. Z is a series created and owned by Alvin-Earthworm/Mark Haynes. Please go support his series, both the OG and reboot of it! Metallix's sprites made by BluerSonic, KoolKing Productions and VipSLASH respectively.
