Manchitas - Cabeza Fria - Serie Animada

Mickey Mouse looks for some spooky vinyl records for Halloween.

Disney isn't making Mickey cartoons we want to see, so I'm seriously considering making our own, albeit with our limited skills. My brother and I drew it, my brother did the voice acting, and I recorded the music. I've had the rough idea for this gag since about 2008, when I was starting to learn a lot more about Disney. Originally it was meant to be a series of Mickey and his friends going on a road trip in the real world, not just some cartoon version of it, and encountering various real life things they wouldn't see in their Disney bubble. It was gonna be called "Realityland". I wrote some rough scripts back then, but they're not very good. I never wrote down this specific gag until this year, which originally was gonna have Goofy instead of Horace. Jumping ahead about 18 years later (geez), Disney is in a much, much stranger place than it was when I came up with the idea. Mickey cartoon series in particular have been a really mixed bag. I've kept hoping that Disney would finally wise up and make Mickey cool again, but they've never quite managed it, despite the potential Epic Mickey promised. (That said, I quite like Roadster Racers and all adjacent series.) As you most likely know by now, Mickey Mouse went public domain a few years ago. So far no one's really done anything significant with the character. For a few years now I've hoped Disney would adapt the classic 1930s Floyd Gottfredson comics and show everyone Mickey's true potential, but it's clear that ain't happening.I want to do it myself, and I have many ideas, but I can't really animate, or even draw particularly fast, so short animatics will have to do for now.

This is the 4th finished clip from my upcoming film "Steamboat Willing", a 46 minute sequel to Steamboat Willie in which Mickey gets shipwrecked on a mysterious island. The film is currently raising funds on Indiegogo and there's 3 days left: https://www.indiegogo.com/en/projects/billystevenson/steamboat-willing Also the audio is temporary, I'm currently raising funds specifically to pay voice actors.

Slickey Time Travel to see "The Magic Of Disney Animation" at Disney World again

Slickey and Dane were supposed to use a Time Machine rather than a Potato to time-travel, and there were supposed to be Time Travel montage. Every time Slickey and Dane Time Travel, they end up in the wrong destination. And the ending was supposed to be much darker than the final version, where Slickey and Dane ends up in a post-apocalyptic timeline that happens around 2026. But I decided not to do it due to Production constraints.

A Prostitute Mickey Xmas

O'l Micky gets dragged into Goof's latest scheme.

Newgrounds!!!
God I miss posting stuff here. Between Doraleous and Associates and Apocalypse Lane I rarely had any free time to work on anything else. EDIT: I've made this bitch bigger. The first version was to small for some people. Since I do my animation in After Effects I have to compress the video to flash. Tom and the gang here at NG have been kind enough to increase my upload limit so big thanks to those guys and I've finally learned some decent compression techniques. So yeah, here is Prostitute Mickey 3. If you like our comedy stylings, be sure to follow is on that facebook and youtube shit. I have provided a sexy link on the first frame. Cheers -Appsro

Wacky Game Jokez 4 Kidz

Hello everyone! Been a while since I made a post. Work has been killer lately which is good for me but at the same time it doesn't allow me to animate as much. While this isn't an "official" entry into the Prostitute Mickey series, it still may be good for a laugh for anybody who likes these characters. The story behind this it that Mickey became so popular here in Wilmington that I was asked to animate a short sketch for the Final Cut Film Festival. During the festival a bunch of teams have to make a short film in 36 hours and this follows Mickey's adventure. Prostitute Mickey 3 has been recorded and I will animate it ASAP unless "other things" work out. Either way keep an eye out from me for a possible big announcement. Watch, vote and enjoy. -Jon Etheridge

UPDATE: Front page again, and Daily Feature! Finally. You guys are so freaking awesome it's unbelievable. Hello everyone! Sorry it's been so long since my last post. Work has been insane and the new baby has been keeping me occupied. My goal is to have a short out every two weeks. So this is the sequel to Prostitute Mickey. Now normally I don't like doing sequels, but we laid down this audio one night and it got such a big laugh that we decided to animate it. We think it's pretty damn funny, and I hope you do as well. Watch, vote and enjoy :) -Jon Etheridge
