This is a story about a pair of twins and their babysitter

The story follows the infamous Stein twins. Mari, a sugar-loving, self-centered pageant brat with a goal of world domination, and her brother Jouzo, a foul-mouthed, obsessive, asshole of a mad scientist. After the disappearance of the notorious Dr. Frankenstein, they must find objects the doctor scattered and hid across multiple dimensions that hold the secret to where he went. Within each dimension is a new horror, from man-eating bananas, cults led by a boy made of marshmallows, to a child-kidnapping demon moose. The pair, along with their hapless babysitter and the help of many friends throughout their journey, must overcome each new obstacle no matter how treacherous.

ive worked on this tiny thing for like eight or nine hours and my fingers are so cramped rn. I cannot WAIT for the day that I actually get a digital pen or something, cuz just using a mouse is literal hell. Either way, though, this was super fun to make. I'm not sure if I should just make a loop version of it, or keep it as it is.

Uploaded on YouTube a year ago, I intended to use Newgrounds but forgot about it. However there's no time like the present! This is an animated album that I began to conceive the idea of back in 2022 and worked on throughout 2023-2024. The (loose) concept is about the surprising turns life can take and not knowing where you can end up. <a href="https://www.nathmusic.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.nathmusic.co.uk/</a>

OLD MAN & NOVICE

The 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. animated!

This animation is a sequel to my very first hand-drawn animation. This time around, I used a Huion drawing tablet instead of drawing with purely a mouse. The quality is quite a bit different . . . maybe I'll need to remake the first at some point . . . Check out the original animation here, if you haven't seen it yet: <a href="https://youtu.be/2xDUeHmDdMI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Super Mario Over the Years! 1</a> - Unfortunately, you'll have to watch it on YT because I didn't have a NG account back then :( Isn't it technically the 41st now of Super Mario Bros?: Lol, yes - this project is a culmination of short vids I've been putting out during the 40th anniversary across my socials, plus a bunch more! I still wanted to call this an animation for the 40th, as it's the bigger milestone year than the 41st. I also just work slowly, and had a bunch of ideas, causing the release time to continuously get pushed back. Art Direction I've had the thought for quite some time to make a more faithful animation to the Mario series to emulate and honor the stylistic choices of Yōichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. My decision on the art direction also came down to me wanting to "understand the generations of Mario” from its official art standpoint. Furthermore, I wanted to embellish some of Mario's movements, not limited to the games, to give a greater sense of action and adventure! I referenced all types of official cover art, licensed activity books, instruction manuals, classic 80s/90s commercials and other promotional material for the games and time periods. It took way more effort than my past simpler, often rough character animations - but it was totally worth it! For later games in the franchise, including games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey Characters, I choose to fuse the official render designs with the linework used in the manual art in the earlier games. I wanted the animation to have the hand drawn feel, but still have the evolution of Mario's design aimed to hit several of the "key poses" from the Super Mario Bros official art, and “bring them to life” in the animation. In order to execute this idea, I started with several of the key frames as these key poses, with some adjustments (like eye movements, hand placements, or perspective tweaks) to flow with the animation. As far as the backgrounds go, they involve a stylistic approach to Shigehisa Nakaue's work on the fairly consistent Nintendo summer artwork. I tried to simulate this by blending some watercolor texture scans I painted with digital watercolor brushes created in Photoshop to create laying and show a brush stroke on a more rough, coarse paper. The color usage references the internal colors displayed when playing the games on their respective consoles. This challenged me when it came to using a very monochromatic color scheme in Super Mario Land's Birabuto dungeon to quite the opposite of using a wide array of color in Mario's character animation in the Super Mario Odyssey segment. Easter Eggs Woah, you actually read up to this point? Okay, well, I'll let you in on a little secret: this animation is jam packed with a ton of hidden secrets/collectables. Try to spot the following: <ul><li>Bosses and/or friendly side characters from each game</li><li>References to different Nintendo game console generations</li><li>5 cherries to give you "invincibility"</li><li>2 wonder seeds for a "sense of curiosity"</li><li>Franchise game/console codenames</li><li>A bunch of coins. Count all of them if you dare and they may reveal some meaningful Mario number lol . . . The following are variations of coins and values associated with them (does their final value mean anything?):</li></ul>⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Regular/Gold Coin - Simply 1 Coin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Red Coin (SM64) - 1 Red Coin = 2 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Blue Coin (SM64) - 1 Blue Coin = 5 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Purple Regional Coin (SMO) - 1 Regional Coin = 2 Coins Credits Music in chronological order:0:00 ~ Super Mario Bros 2. - Ground Theme ~ Super Smash Bros. ACCIDENTAL BOOZE [SHORT]

I know it was only a day ago I annouced this but I've actually made the painful decision to cancel it due to multiple factors (some of those factors being in the credits + the fact that I got a new mouse... one of them that uses a rubber ball to (slowly) move around the cursor), even though it is practically unfinished (I know I don't usually post unfinished movies onto NG but it just came to me just a couple hours ago as of typing that a bunch of people did post unfinished animations in the past, so it can't be that bad right?), I put in credits to make it look an "actual" release... so oh well, it's better than nothing I suppose. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I decided to publish it anyway mainly to show off that I can do slower camera pans, not only in gifs, BUT in movies too... so that's cool I guess Also, <a href="https://archive.org/details/theadventuresofbongo" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">for those that want to actually know what it's based on.</a> <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDdq0bFNqa4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">YouTube</a> (incase this goes down one way or another)<a href="https://leopard.hosting.pecon.us/dl/uywst/adventurez+of+b0ng.zip" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">.vmm</a> (for those that REALLY want to)

CLACKERVILLE - E09: Launch Party

Aqui les dejo a mi pequeña brujita.

Mouse Witch

posting an old vent animation with a simple song and short story added to it

A question that would haunt me well into the afterlife. This was never how it was supposed to go. I have tailored a world for myself where no one would care. No one *should* care. No one should like, much less love me, as I am. Raw and honest. Intense and torn. Vulnerability pecking through to my bones like a vulture to a carcass. It was dangerous to get close to me. I was hostile. I needed to be. It wasn’t safe to become soft or sweet. I deserved the suffering I caused myself. “This is what’s best”. The words were spoken through grit teeth. Mirrors became my worst enemy, and distractions, my hero. A moment to spare would only allow the crushing weight of “what if” questions to arise and twist my stomach, wringing it like a wet cloth. My emotion slipped through the cracks of my fingers like water, seeping through the crevices of my hands like blood. Dripping down to fill every piece of a broken, empty shell I’m forced to call “home”. No one could see this part of me. I was desperate to avoid this scenario. The exterior hardened to make up for this embarrassingly soft center. Versions of myself were created to survive the unlikely scenarios. Everything I felt I needed to be, I became. Everything that was not safe to show, locked away. Despite my efforts, I could never throw away the key. “What if?” I kept ignoring the knocks. The pleads. The pounds. The begging. It was annoying to hear, then excruciating. It only got louder. More frequent. If there was a push, I would shove in return. I would win this fight. I had to. I only became worse. I hated it. I needed it. I lost loved ones over it. I lost sleep over it. I lost time. My life. Everything. Death was becoming imminent. I knew this. I still put up a measly effort to remain alive. Distractions did a wonderful job, but every force out there swiftly stripped me down until there was nothing, absolutely nothing, perceivably justifiable to keep me here. You showed up, crashing through my reinforced exterior like it was glass. You completely destroyed my hard work, unraveling it as if you found that one loose string on an article of clothing. I lay bare. No tricks. No lies. Just a pitiful mess of tears and confusion. Despite everything I’ve done. Everything I am. You showed up. … …I hate you, you know that? … … … …I don’t want to go.

CLACKERVILLE - E01: Earl Of Earl’s Computers

Created on 10/07/26 For the video: <a href="https://youtu.be/1H4YcHL1PWU" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">EL VERDADERO PATO JUEGO | THE FOX LIED</a>It was an idea that just popped into my head out of nowhere, to be honest. I don't regret a thing. It was quite an experience, which I explain in more detail in this video: coming soonIf you have a great idea and don't know how to develop it, don't worry, you'll always find a way to make it happen. And if you struggle along the way, keep in mind that the reward when you finish it will be well worth it. Just don't let it die.

Cowboy Goose

After over a month without a TrouserToons episode, here's a new one! This episode also features David's cuckoo clock bird, Luco! Like "The Do-Gooders", this episode is also based on a super old concept I came up with in 2023. And I actually wrote a plot outline for it that time. However, that version was actually a lot more ambitious than this one as it involved the clock traveling all across the city, among other things. It also didn't feature Luco at all, funnily enough. But for this episode, I ended up simplifying the plot by quite a bit so it doesn't become a nightmare for me to animate. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the finished episode!
