Saul Bass's Movie Poster Design x Richard William's Animation Exercise

Just another little animation practice, but this time with guidance of The Animator's Survival Kit (Richard William) for my love of Saul Bass's movie poster designs (use In Harm's Way due to the poster is a navy vice admiral pointing, which works for me). I uploaded a video that's display the behind the scenes of creating said minute of animation on YouTube if you're curious.
Behind the Scenes Display | Richard Williams's Finger Pointing Exercise x Saul Bass's Movie Poster...
If not, thank you for your time watching this. That be all for now. Yours truly, HEC-Z

After having his ship sink, RadioTube returns to Clocktopia to find it's creator.

Happy Clock Day! I wanted to use the noir setting again and I think this turned out well! I wanted to have a little more continuity between my movies so this acts as a sequel to 'OTB - Littorally the Worst' and a spiritual sequel to 'The Return'. I figure the setting is fitting as I loosely associate it with my early days in the Clock Crew. I first found the CC while I was in college in a much more urban environment than where I have lived both before and after. Likewise, I was into a number of games and shows at the time that had a similar vibe/aesthetic, such as Halo 3: ODST and The Big O. At any rate, it makes for a nice change of setting.

Into the Shadows

A short movie I put together about the loss of the HMNZS Manawanui last year.

OTB - Littorally the Worst

Something I put together quickly for the Live Action Jam!

OTB - The Grimace Shake

I put a lot more emphasis on silhouettes in this, I think it gives it a neat style.

OTB - Powder Keg

Further expansion with cinematic of the TXR ship models.

Border Violation

Happy Clockday! It's amazing that it's been 20 years!

OTB - 2001

The Offshore Patrol Vessel "Striker" was attacked when investigating the sudden silence from an oil platform nearby.

Battle of Somewhere in the water.

My take on an old joke that, from what I hear, originally dates back to the 30s. I know it has been adapted into a couple TV commercials as well.

OTB - The Carrier

A movie I made to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the sinking of the USS America (CV-66).
