Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7 We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/ We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/ We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:

Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.

Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.

Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.

Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.

Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.

Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. Sonic SFM Parodies Part 1

This is my first animation uploaded to Newgrounds. This is a parody of Mario.

If you want, please give this project constructive criticism, as this is my first movie. I don't own the sprites or sounds in this movie. I however created the movie in Scratch. This is a parody, and is therefore fair use and not copyright infringement. Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use. This movie comments/make references to how the game usually goes, and puts the characters in absurd situations. It also parodies and pays tribute to Super Mario Bros. Z and other sprite animations. Now, this movie is bit out of context, but I might post the prequel soon. I made this in Scratch and converted it to HTML. Most of the sounds and sprites are credited to Nintendo. Once again, I don't own anything in this movie, but I did animate the sprites. This movie has no copyrighted music and uses music from the royalty-free Incompetech website. Beel Clintong o.o This is NOT meant to spark political discussion lol. I'm not even American and don't know a lot about Bill Clinton, I'm just kind of autistic about unidentified Bill Clinton song parodies, which has led me to finding the character Bill Clinton really funny unfortunately. Song is created by me - it's the theme to my game Whack-A-Bill (it's what you think it is).

Flash Parodies: The Unfunniest Animation Genre ever - LOVEWEB

This is a parody of Unknowingly's The Man In The Suit analog horror series

The Man In The Matt (BallesterMania Analog Horror Parody)

A Smiling Friends Parody of the 2nd Higurashi anime opening? Why not!

With how much 2000s internet/web nostalgia Smiling friends references in their episodes, I thought it might be fun to pay a homage to the 2009-era of anime opening parodies! I remember the Higurashi, Naruto, and Death Note openings were especially pretty popular for other media parodies! As a 14 year old in 2009, I remember always thinking it would be a lot of fun to make one, but I didn't have the drawing ability or know-how to make one back then. Since Smiling Friends is still just starting off the third season (at the time of posting this) I figured why not give it a try now? So I did! It was fun and nostalgic! (Plus it gave me an excuse to practice a little animating again lol) My teenager self would be so proud of me for finally getting around to making my own silly "cartoon-as-anime" parody LMAO. I figured anime opening parodies usually work pretty well here on NG, so I wanted to share it here too! Here's some animation process stuff for the fun of it too! Always a good idea to show your work. (No particular order, obviously) ALSO! before I forget, this is also on YOUTUBE! :] Ok that's all for now! :] Original Higurashi Opening HERE!

Rest in peace to a British Legend, may you caress rusty spoons in heaven!

After going through 4 story changes, 2 drafts, and listening to the entire discography of Tyler, The Creator I present my finished project for the NG Parody Jam - by PhantonArcade. Oh, and BTW in the credits I accidentally call it the NG Parody Collab and also I refer to Phanton Arcade as his alternative username Aalasteir. In the end I hope everyone enjoys this project cuz I spent a LOOOONNNNGGGG time to get this project beautiful enough to be consumed by the public I apologize if it may not be good as other parodies out there but just know I did put a lot of work and effort into this. Also if David Firth, SOMEHOW finds this. I just want to say this message."Hey David Firth, I just want to say you inspired me to begin animating in the first place. And I grew up watching all the Salad Fingers episodes. Just know the project I made was created out of love and not in any way disrespect. Hope you have a swell day, bro!" *DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO EITHER SALAD FINGERS, OR PEACEMAKER. THIS IS MERELY A FAN PROJECT WHICH UTILIZES THE TWO. JUST KNOW NEITHER ARE BEING USED IN TERRORISTIC, CRIMINAL, AND ALL-AROUND BAD WAYS. "Salad Fingers" belongs to David Firth, and "Peacemaker" belongs to James Gunn & DC Studios respectfully. Outro Music done by my friend Skumbagg Anyways I think that's all for now, Hope you all have a fantastical spooktacular day! SincerelyLeSpydr/Spyderbyter/CoolDude McSpookyguy

The Nitro Squad unwittingly unleashes an evil spirit while playing with an Ouija board.

On July 10, 2015, I released the first episode of my animated series, The Nitro Squad, on to Youtube. It's a cartoon about my high school friend group getting into wacky scenarios that ultimately get us killed. I had always planned to continue the series, as my friends had written episodes over the years. Unfortunately, life gets in the way. The last episode I uploaded was 7 years ago. I decided to reanimate the first episode as a showcase on how my skills have improved in 10 years. I'd say the difference is night and day! Although, I have tons of room for improvement. At any rate, this particular remake has been a joy. I took the original episode, reworked some dialogue, tweaked the scene order slightly, and halved the runtime. I’d say it's an improvement. There were tons of issues that have been bugging the hell out of me the last 10 years, and I think I ironed out the kinks. All the voice lines were recorded 10 years ago, which I'm sure shows. I am also continuing the series, as it's always been my passion project. I plan on doing other animations on the side, such as parodies and whatnot. I have a long backlog of video ideas that I fully intend on completing. I mostly post my work for myself, but if other people were to see it, hey, thats pretty neat. I sincerely hope that if you like what I do, maybe you'll consider hanging around and watching what I have coming out! ►All the music and sound effects used in this video are courtesy of Pixabay.►https://pixabay.com ►All characters are based on my high school friends, who voice their respective characters. ► Abigail the evil spirit is voiced by Scout Love.
