Love Sores

My dearest friends, hello! A big phat update for Trauma Pets is on the way! Read all about it!<a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/4236490/Trauma_Pets/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://store.steampowered.com/app/4236490/Trauma_Pets/</a> NEW CONTENT-Added a special breed of Trauma Pets that can exclusively be caught at the Port.-Added a Training Area where you can test your Trauma Pet's skills without hurting its health.-Added an extra minigame in the Stadium.-Added an extra minigame in the Factory. GAMEPLAY CHANGES-Resurrected Trauma Pets will now re-appear in your inventory with full Stamina.-Reward multipliers have been slightly decreased.-Repurposed the way stats are assigned for Trauma Pets.-Fixed a bug where Trauma Pets would get more tired playing specific minigames.-Fixed a bug where the Ominous Temple would just... be a complete mess really.-Adjusted the prices for several items. -Adjusted the rules of several minigames.-Adjusted the physics of the Alternate Dimension minigames.-Addressed the very vaguely explained alleged security issue from the previous build by updating Unity.-And more! AESTHETIC CHANGES-Tinkered a bit with post processing, particles and light effects.-Changed the camera angle for minigames and other scenes.-Fixed a few awkward typos and text-related oversights.-Fixed a bug where particles wouldn't display the appropriate color.-Fixed a bug where the Trauma Pets in the Ominous Temple and Alternate Dimension wouldn't display appropriately.-Visual and audio feedback for a few UI elements has been made clearer to understand. -Re-modeled and re-animated many components of the Trauma Pet anatomy.-Re-modeled many components of the environment. -Added a soundtrack, courtesy of Livio Brescia (again...), that can be toggled on and off.-And more! Is this the end of Trauma Pet's life cycle? Well... i haven't implemented the golf minigame yet. Plus i'm sure there'll be plenty more bugs i missed because i'm the only guy doing the playtesting. So yeah, see you soon whether it's for something different or just another update for Trauma Pets!

HUGE UPDATE FOR TRAUMA PETS!

Another way to reach the skies.Accept his proposal?

This is my 1st animation!(in Blender, rendered in EEVEE)(icon in Cycles)Each frame(400 in total) took about 3 mins to render so there's certainly room to improve lol(particles may have also played a role in delaying it)Please let me know if you found a method to decrease the time to render frames!

I'm aware that many people may not have seen the original Evil Dead movie. And you don't need to have seen it to have some fun in this episode, but there are a lot of references here that are connected to the Evil Dead series. If you want some more context before watching, maybe check out the last edition of the <a href="https://voodoovids.newgrounds.com/news/post/1619729">Spooky Zine</a>. ABOUT THE SPOOKY ZINEThe spooky zine is a once a month mini mag that explores some more of the local lore and connects with the episodes and world of voodoo vids in a way that's external to the animation. They are a bit of fun, but also can contain wider context for viewers that want to have some additional context. Or maybe you just want to read more about what's happening in the wider universe. A LOVE LETTER TO EVIL DEADThis episode is a love letter to Evil Dead and nods to the horror classic in certain ways I hope you would find nostalgic and at the same time, perhaps encourage some new people to seek out The Evil dead movies if you haven't seen them. You have to have a passion for old school splatter gore horror. But it's got a great blend of gore and comic styled over the top supernatural elements that are sure to delight, and Bruce Campbell is just brilliant as Ash Williams. I'm super excited to learn that there are rumors Bruce may even return to the movies in some capacity. I know currently Bruce is battling cancer, which is awful news, but as he said himself, "Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch".I along with many fans are wishing him a good battle and hope he gets well soon! I'd love to see him on the big screen in Evil Dead again! Beyond this point there will be episode 4 spoilers so return to read the rest after you've seen the episode. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586325_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586325_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,317"> BEHIND THE SCENES OF EPISODE 4This episode took a lot longer to make than the others, I hope that shows and also thank you for your patience. The script went through a few re writes and last minute changes that extended the runtime. Having every character in a single episode comes with more challenges, making sure to give each of them a good scene. But I think it was worth it as if you like any character in particular they are all present in this one. THAT ICONIC INTROIf you are familiar with Evil Dead you will have noticed I did my best to pay homage to the opener from Evil Dead 2 that explains the Necronomicon's origins. Making that was so much fun, animating the front cover of the book, combining it with some stock footage of an ocean that I tinted red, and for the "ink effect" on the page reveals I used some simple track mattes of real ink drop footage to do that. I love how it turned out.I also did the narration in the intro, I rearranged elements of the original script to work better with the set up for this parody. My goal was to allow people who've never heard of, or watched Evil dead to get up to speed as quickly as possible with the idea that "this book is bad news" TECHNICAL STUFFOne of the biggest challenges is creating new environments and props. Something you see on screen for a few seconds in a few shots has had to be created from scratch. Some times I over engineer stuff too and I probably could've made the chainsaw without an actually animated chain... but because I did, It allowed me to get some cool camera angles of it in action.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586351_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586351_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,317"> Same can be said for the shotgun that Franklin is using. it is based of the same model they used in Evil Dead 2, the original film Ash used a single barreled Winchester, but the sequel it was a 12 guage double barrel Stevens model, and later in the 3rd movie it was a double barrel Stoeger Coach Gun, which is lovingly referred to now as "The Boomstick"Ash famously saws the barrel off in Evil Dead 2. Of course I needed a forest. Not any easy set to build but I made it easy by cutting a lot of corners, the whole forest set is just a simple plane with a particle system placing tree images randomly across the surface.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586349_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586349_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,495">I made it within an hour and the lighting is doing most of the heavy lifting. which is again fairly simple. I like my renders to not take AGES. Most of the animation scenes take about 4-5 seconds per frame. So the forest was as basic as it needed to be. Paul's date cutaway was another external set that required a suburban feel to it. so I modeled some simple houses and kept camera angles to a minimum and focused only on what I needed. it was a very short scene so keeping the set small was important... but I could probably use it again in future should the need arise.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586352_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586352_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,295">Voodoo Vids itself as a set is the biggest and most detailed because I wanted a space where I can point the camera pretty much anywhere and have a great shot. A lot of time was spent on that, but it still needs work and more will come to the set eventually. Another huge time save has been using multiple cameras within the same scene and swapping between them. traditionally I would've worked on one scene per camera shot, but using Blenders camera marker system I can have multiple cameras that I can cut to whenever I need. so I can animate the whole scene in one blend file. This also makes it easier to alter small parts or fix things in post easier without having to dig through a load of different scene files. MUFFINMuffin the Dog was referenced in the <a href="https://voodoovids.newgrounds.com/news/post/1619729">Spooky Zine</a> and fun fact, he is voiced by our own dog Podrick. Recording his various noises is fun. To get his taco crunching sounds we used a Poppadom, he very much enjoys working with us when there's food involved.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586356_28415006.jpg" alt="iu_1586356_28415006.jpg" data-smart-scale="764,764">The next two episodes will probably be a little shorter again too not keep the gaps too long between them. AND for the finale there's going to be another great addition to the page that you can all experience and join in. more on that soon.We may even see some more new characters too!! FINAL NOTEThank you all for watching and a special thanks to Bruce Campbell and Director Sam Raimi for making a bonkers horror franchise that inspires fans and creators still to this day.As for Voodoo Vids please share it if you can, tell people about It! Your support is greatly appreciated with every like, vote, comment. It will be available on youtube next week, right now they remain as Newgrounds exclusives at launch. If you want to know anything else about production or things I've not mentioned here, then please ask. more than happy to answer any questions.See you in the next one! and look out for the next edition of the Spooky Zine for some more info soon!

Glitchart / Videoart short film featuring spacey visuals and surreal soundscapes

The April Lyrids cometh ~ look to Lyra &amp; Hercules (the constellations) ~ Vega (the star) lights thy way! The April Lyrids = a meteor shower lasting from about April 15 to April 29, originating from dust particles shed by the comet Thatcher ~ the strongest annual shower of meteors from a long-period comet. Observed / reported since 687 BC, no other observable shiny space shower has been recorded as far back in time… In 687, the Zuo Zhuan (an ancient Chinese narrative history) described the meteor shower: “On the 4th month in the summer of the year of Xin-Mao… fixed stars become invisible; at midnight, stars fell like rain.” In the Australian Aboriginal astronomy of the Boorong tribe, the Lyrids represent the scratching of the Mallee fowl (represented by Vega), coinciding with its nest-building season. …may your eyes be filled with &amp; your nests be built with shooting stars… (datamoshing + soundscaping = me)

How I made my stylized 3D animations in Blender (Behind The Scene)

Looks like witch of the Demon's Darkness belt to Ahh on him.

Amity finally defeats Giyu Tomioka: the water Hashira. 💧 The scene opens with intense combat already in motion. Amity, dressed in a striking black-and-purple outfit with flowing accents that give her a magical-girl-meets-dark-sorceress vibe (heavily inspired by Winx Club's transformation aesthetics), clashes directly with Giyuu. He wields his signature Nichirin Blade and summons signature Water Breathing techniques — swirling, fluid streams and crashing waves of blue water ripple across the frame as he attacks. Amity counters with dark, shadowy magic. Tendrils of deep purple and black energy whip around her, clashing against the water in explosive bursts of contrasting color. The animation uses dramatic lighting and particle effects to emphasize the elemental opposition: cool blues and aquas versus ominous purples and inky darkness. The fight builds quickly to a climax — Amity dodges or overpowers Giyuu's water-based strikes, closes the distance, and lands a powerful finishing move. She unleashes a concentrated blast or slashing wave of shadow energy that overwhelms him completely. Giyuu is sent reeling backward (or directly defeated on-screen), with water effects dissipating as he falls or is knocked out of frame. The short clip ends on Amity standing victorious, posed confidently with her dark aura still swirling around her, exuding a triumphant "badass magical girl" energy. Overall style: fluid 2D frame-by-frame animation typical of FlipaClip, bold color contrasts, dynamic camera angles (zooms, quick pans), and a mix of elegant magical-girl flair with gritty shonen battle choreography. The piece serves as a fun, fan-inspired "what-if" crossover showcasing the creator's OC dominating a canon powerhouse character. Claire Couldn't resist!

A trio of dragon siblings set out on their first training hunt.

OMG IT'S FINALLY DONE! After well over a year in the making, Talons and Flurries is finally edited and finished. It's production was exhausting, with a lot of bumps in the road, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! It definitely isn't perfect, as there are a few areas where the audio and particle effects could have been elevated, as one of my first attempts at an animated film, I feel like it gets the job done. This film takes place in the Wings of Fire universe, and features some Mudwing ocs. And yes, they are PUREBRED Mudwings. Canon be damned, I really loved the color palettes I chose, as I feel like they reflect each character's personality really well. The main protag is named Ginkgo, the mostly green Mudwing, who is eager to prove himself the strongest in his tribe with completely reckless abandon. His eldest brother Gastro is the bigwings of the group, and grows frustrated upon having to reign him in during a practice hunt. Last but not least is Arion, the youngest, and most anxious about his sibling's safety. There are at least 4 other siblings who aren't featured here, but all of them are named after snails/mollusks and have some shade of orange in them. Ginkgo meanwhile is actually an adoptive sibling, making him more adamant to prove himself. I overall enjoyed animating these guys and figuring out their anatomy. I based the main run cycle off of a lion's for reference, while for every other form of locomotion, I just winged it. I'm also happy with the vocals for all these animals, as I feel like I was able to give way more emotion to the bull specifically. An angry ol' warship in a sea of icebergs!

A simple little animation thingy I whipped up to test moon lighting and water, really love the way the mighty battleship contrasts the beauty of nature. Been kinda experimenting with lighting and particle systems lately. This is the first attempt I've made at a ship's wake, icebergs and reflective ocean water. Particles need work but it's progress. NGL this kinda looks like a credits screen. Constructive Criticism?

Short warm up for the new year, of course her tits are gonna expand.

Decided to just make something short as a warm up for the year. Been cranking away at environment work and I needed a bit of a break. Figured since Rose was recently finished and had my new rig, it was time to give it a spin. Other than really annoying things that can be fixed, the rig performs well, a solid 8.5/10. Still need to deal with issues regarding the wrists, and adding some bones for her calf and thigh muscles, this new rig was worth sinking time into. Hair physics sadly didn't make it in since i can't find the option to change her hair back to a particle system (Blender stop hiding features in new menus I beg of you.) I also would like to state this was for sure the fastest I've ever turned out an animation, 6-7 hours (If you count distractions from pets). I feel like I'm going to be focusing on shorter animations to get back into the flow of things, long winded projects seem to be the death of engagement both external and internal. This also wasn't a ploy to have something out for the first take over Tuesday of the year, no way, fake news. Minor Changes: -Stat changes made on your created character for the Career mode are now also applied to normal matches.-You can now randomize colors in the character editor.-Certain stipulation of all pre-existing Special Matches have been changed.-Fixed the position of an object in the character editor/created character.-Fixed a bug that would ruin the animation loops under certain circumstances.-The damage bonus dealt by critical hits has been increased.-Critical hits now have their own particle effects.-Added new questions to the interview section in Career mode.-Touched up and redrawn a few sprites.-Lowered the price to purchase Special Matches in Career mode.-Added a new cutscene for Career mode.-Slightly improved on the Coffin Drop animation.-Touched up the physics for normal and slipper ring mats.-Actual gameplay suggestions will occasionally show up during loading times.-Other minor aesthetic improvements.-Other minor bug fixes. I've also tried updating the nearly 3 years old Unity build i've been using this whole time and all it did was turn off all the entire fucking lighting system for no reason. Alright, now i feel like i can finally move on to my next project. Very excited about what's to come next! (I'll still fix any bug that's reported to me!)

Femboy Incubus jerks himself off with his tail

My first lewd animation! That I'm posting, anyway. Sil giving himself a tail job.Figuring out the cum took me a while. I tried using Blender's fluid simulation at first, but I just couldn't get it to look right. I then found a video that explained how to make cum using the particle simulator, and that worked out way better. Thanks, Anime Nyan and Azzura.I'm still not 100% satisfied with it, but I wasted so much time just to get to this point that I'd like to move on. It's definitely something I'll have to fiddle with to get it just right.I hope you enjoy, regardless.

Spore MOD showcase: Reno - Primary Star feat.初音ミク【MMD】dance ft. Black Oni

I'm so excited to announce that the final dance effect before the publication of my Spore MMD mod is finally finished! After this I will be updating the rest of the dances in this mod with the latest syntax and techniques and it will finally be ready for publish! This time we have Primary Star by Reno and I'm very happy with how this dance effect turned out. My favorite aspect of this dance effect code is how I was able to use arrayCreate syntax to create the animated floor from indivisual tiles/cubes as well as the engine/halo of the stage. Here I'm also experimenting with the color splitting filter combined with particle-based distortion screen filter. Additionally, the subtitle code has also been reduced significantly with the help of arrayCreate. Overall it's been a pleasure working on this project and I truly appreciate all those who helped me testing this mod out, and Dragon, who is not only responsible for the imports of all these assets, but also a supportive friend! :3 Credits:- Song: Primary Star - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@RenoOfficial" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> @RenoOfficial </a>- Motion: mobiusP (Dance: nullpon1215)<a href="https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm40352087" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm40352087</a>- Camera: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@TheSodaWave" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> @TheSodaWave </a><a href="https://www.deviantart.com/thesodawave/art/Primary-Star-Camera-DL-931061604" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.deviantart.com/thesodawave/art/Primary-Star-Camera-DL-931061604</a>- Asset import and conversion: I-am-thedragon <a href="https://github.com/I-am-thedragon" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://github.com/I-am-thedragon</a>- Stage, effect and design: me <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@RamoneKemono" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> @RamoneKemono </a> The texture settings I used for this creation:prop skinpaintGlossMultiplier 1.3prop skinpaintPhongMultiplier 4prop skinpaintBumpHeight 3prop skinpaintTextureSize 8192 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New creation preview every week in channel header art. Fully animated animation test from the Miyazaki's cancelled TV cartoon Pippi Longstocking

A while ago, I heard about a Pippi Longstocking TV cartoon (1971). It would be interpreted by Isao Takahata, Hayao Miyazaki and Yoichi Kotabe. While searching about it, I saw one of Kotabe Yoichi's test animation. I was really interested and decided to fully animate his animation. If you'd like to know more about this cancelled project, you can check these out:► <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbQRfByRmlw" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbQRfByRmlw </a>► <a href="http://animationobsessive.substack.com/p/the-strongest-girl-in-the-world" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">animationobsessive.substack.com/p/the-strongest-girl-in-the-world </a>► <a href="http://collider.com/hayao-miyazaki-pippi-longstocking/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">collider.com/hayao-miyazaki-pippi-longstocking/ </a>► <a href="http://futoiyatsu.wordpress.com/articles-in-english/the-anime-that-never-happened/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">futoiyatsu.wordpress.com/articles-in-english/the-anime-that-never-happened/</a> MY WEBSITE:► <a href="https://mkdoes711.carrd.co/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://mkdoes711.carrd.co/</a> Have a good day as always.

Music video for my track, "Theme for a Theme". The swarm hypnotizes.Like a bullet hell. The entropic pull of the cosmos. -- I messed with TouchDesigner for the first time (Free/max reso=1028x1028 T_T) and dove deeper into trying out Davinci Resolve editing to make this. LEARNING IS FUN! *Coughs up blood* Compression is a trip. Next video probably won't be a bunch of hard to render out particles that compression eats up.
