LSD EN MIS VENAS

Perception is a very specific phenomenon...

Perception is a truly peculiar phenomenon. If a person sees something on a screen - say, water droplets falling onto flowers - they naturally associate it with rain and assume that it is indeed raining (even though rain might have nothing to do with it - who knows?..). This is the "first impression effect": - something that momentarily clouds our vision, leading us to realize that behind an act which initially appears to be mere mischief, there actually lie noble intentions - an attempt to transform this gloomy, gray world using something seemingly harmless... But to understand this, one must see... -Ivan

INFP thoughts vs society: why INFPs want to stay home | INFP cartoon animation INFPs are known for their rich inner world — but what happens when there's a rude interference... from society? This INFP cartoon captures that moment when someone asks "what are you thinking" and your mind is a universe they could never understand. Likewise, INFPs just don't get the superficial, nihilist, anti-feelism of other types. 🎭 Original animation by non-binary transgender lesbian artist Erica Crooks (INFP 4w5 March Pisces) INFPs are known for their rich mind. Creative imagination, intuition, perception, analytical mind, long-term memory, etc.And there are personality types that view life through eternal reality and their logical conclusions. Unlike INFPs, some of these other types lack empathy / sympathy emotional intelligence. (e.g. unhealthy *ST* types). But for the INFP, the emotional mind is rich and strong. So much so, they would know when to get away from those who are rude, unfriendly and cruel.

Plot has huge role in your enjoyment of certain type of content, even if you don't know it

With the oversaturation of content, the necessity of differentiators has become key in being able to appeal to the audience, and "plot" has become a huge factor to standout among the sea of similar stuff. From deep overdeveloping story arcs to just simple premises in the title, the inclusion of these elements can drastically change the perception of what people see in the content. the phrase "I just watch it for the plot" is no longer just a joke, but a real factor people take into consideration, even if they dont know it. Exploring 4 emblematic paintings from belgium artist, Rene Magritte

Explorations is a collection of 4 emblematic works of Rene Magritte, recreated with current technology and the power of 3D modeling and animation. Starting with

Sheherazade, Rene Magritte (1947)

'Sheherezade is the name given to the pearl-woman object in memory of The Thousand and One Nights' (Magritte, quoted in D. Sylvester & S. Whitfield, René Magritte, Catalogue raisonné, vol. II, Oil paintings and objects, 1931-1948, Antwerp, 1993, p. 387). Shéhérazade appears to have been painted in May 1947 and is considered to be one of the earliest pictures to feature one of René Magritte's iconic motifs, the pearl woman. This picture shows the woman, whose mouth and eyes are shown as islands of flesh surrounded by a mysterious framework of strings of pearls, against a backdrop of a sky hewn out of monumental arches of blue. Next to her on the tabletop are two tall pyramids, a glass of water and a thick, claret-coloured curtain. This manages both to invoke the tradition of the Old Masters of Magritte's native Belgium and also to create an intimacy, a domesticity, a normality, lulling the viewer into a false sense of security that is prised apart by the mirage-like vision of the woman who so bracingly stares out from the canvas like some Orientalist incarnation of the Cheshire Cat. She is some form of apparition, perhaps conjured by the rituals of which the pyramids and water may be the paraphernalia. At the same time, she is the alluring and ornate hostess introducing the viewer to a world that has been rearranged in order to reveal its infinite wonder.

The Liberator, Rene Magritte (1947)

'The Liberator' presents a mysterious scene likely intended to provoke thought and curiosity. It depicts a figure seated against a surreal backdrop of floating architectural structures, with soft clouds embedded within. The figure, shrouded in a red cloak and adorned with a straw hat, lacks a discernible face; instead, there are symbolic images such as a key, a wine glass, a bird, and a pipe on a blank canvas where the torso should be. The enigmatic character holds a peculiar wand-like object topped with a bouquet of facial features and eyes. The figure’s attire and the walking stick it holds suggest a sense of journey or pilgrimage, while the suitcase placed by its side further emphasizes this theme. The overall composition resonates with Magritte’s distinctive style, blending reality with dreamlike elements to challenge perceptions and evoke deeper interpretations.

The Rights of Man, Rene Magritte (1947)

In 1948, while musing on the purpose of the titles he assigned to his paintings, René Magritte proclaimed: “I think the best title for a picture is a poetic one. In other words, a title consistent with the more or less lively emotion we feel when we look at the picture”. Across a series of handwritten manuscripts—now preserved in the Archives of Contemporary Art in Belgium and collectively known as “On Titles”— the artist offered a collection of short statements on some of his recent work. Among these brief notes, Magritte wrote about Les droits de l’homme: "Here, man is reminded of his right to act on objects and change the world"

The Annuntiation, Rene Magritte (1930)

The Annunciation brings together many of the themes, both iconographic and philosophical, that engaged Magritte during his stay in Paris from 1927 to 1930, a period in which he was closely associated with the French Surrealists. The painting shows an unlikely combination of objects. Two large bilboquets (Magritte's term for the objects in his works, which, though imaginary, recall wooden balustrades or chess-pieces) stand next to an oddly shaped piece of paper with a decorative cut-out pattern. Behind them looms a grey metal 'curtain', hung with sleigh bells. Despite its incongruity, this collection of objects seems disconcertingly 'at home' in the rock-strewn landscape beneath the grey clouds in the blue sky. The size of the painting (it is one of the largest the artist ever executed), together with its traditional composition and subtle allusions to paintings of Old Master like Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, and Caravaggio, are signs of the ambitiousness of the work.

Rene Magritte - EXPLORATION

Im starting to become aimless with my approach with art. its frustrating, i feel stumped and uninspired, it just feels like a chase on how I can get better, but whenever I try to do it, it never feels worth it or satisfying or rewarding. Who am I? am I really the artist I say I am? is there something more to me? The video is talking about a version of myself that doesnt exist, a version that i fantasize about, a stereotype of the "handsome man," or even the "beautiful woman;" a struggle with my identity. The entire world has conditioned my mentality, my perception, my self submission, i feel like my spirit has died long ago and is at the bottom of the well.My mind made a solution for me, the perfect version of myself, the beautiful girl that impresses others, the talented girl that loves to create, the intelligent girl who can solve any solution, the understanding girl who is considered the "therapist friend," the girl who has never been seen before, and came out of nowhere. there's no room for me. there's only room for her. there's only room for Milli I am not Milli, im something else. Who am I?

who are you?

Bouta hit the next platform and the depth perception just... betrays you. (Quality might be off.) I originally made this in November 2023 and had this sitting as a draft for well over a year as I planned to include this in a compilation that's been brewing in me for a long, LOONG time. But its taking forever and I wasn't gonna put it off keeping this unreleased any longer so I figured now's the time to release it. sad fact: the original game was still up when I got this done.

Abigail is going to have to deal with her demon.

The story in question is about a highschooler dealing with the agonies of the education system while surving her own battle in her head. On one side she isn't alone and can manage the hell with her friends, on the other side she's crushed to the point of breaking, fighting her demons in the worst years of her life. Perspective and perception

A short animation i did for a school project in 2019

This is an animation I did in 2019 for a school project when i was 12, we had to make a story that ended with 'it was all a dream' and i asked my teacher if i could do an animation as i was starting to learn at the time and she said yes, I've done it all in one day.I always come back to this animation, the simpler times when my perception of animation was as simple as doing what i wanted with what i knew. Nowadays i focus too much on doing the fancy stuff and being perfect that i forget that sometimes the big secret is being simple and doing what I like. I stopped animating for the past 3 years and im coming back to it now that my drawing skills are better. Text translations (portuguese to english):(The text in the house is unreadable but as far as i remember it says "Gilmar's lab" or something)The text on the astronauts paper says:-"Gilmar help me, i fell on a hole, send me a ladder or something"The text on Gilmar's paper says-"look up you avocado-head"The credits says:"Producer - Alvaro""Animator - Alvaro""Voice actors - None :)""Story - Alvaro""Everything - Alvaro""I dedicate this beautiful cinematic piece to Alvaro"The text at the very end says:"The end""You guys can applaud now"

Perceptions (Inspector Tommy)

Beyond Perception. Giraflow

This is an anthology film which is a trilogy and comprises some of my previous works. From dehumanizing the enemy to dehumanizing the perceived self in a dying world, the film attempts to navigate through the chaos of tragedy and transcendence. It's a story about the new Zarathustras of our world, and it's also one about embracing absurdity, akin to a smiling Sisyphus. The trilogy, as depicted through the short films "Fragile Symphony," "World of Grey Men," and "Guardless," offers an exploration of the human experience in the face of existential challenges, societal structures, and the relentless passage of time. At its core, the trilogy is a meditation on death—not merely as a biological inevitability but as a pervasive force that shapes individual and collective consciousness. In "Fragile Symphony," the narrative unfolds amidst the backdrop of a calamity, symbolized by the sinking of the RMS Symphony. The dehumanization of the "enemy" during wartime serves as an introduction to the harsh realities of human conflict. Here, the trilogy sets the stage for an examination of how societies, in the pursuit of power and survival, often reduce individuals to mere entities, stripping away their humanity. "World of Grey Men" delves into the contemporary landscape, particularly the tumultuous times marked by the COVID-19 pandemic. The protagonist, a student navigating the complexities of a world in crisis, reflects on the structures that govern human behaviour. The concept of the "guard" serves as a metaphor for both societal authority and the perception of a higher power. The film contemplates the consequences of expanding the metaphorical panopticon, drawing parallels between societal structures and the panopticon's watchful gaze. "Guardless" catapults us into a speculative future where the grand narratives of the present have collapsed. The protagonist, an artist, grapples with a world devoid of traditional theological structures. The film explores the banality of existence in a post-collapse era, where the mundane takes centre stage. In this narrative, the "guard" transforms into an abstract concept—a symbolic representation of the death of God and the dismantling of traditional belief systems. Throughout the trilogy, the themes of dehumanization, existential questioning, and societal critique resonate. The protagonists—be they anonymous grey figures or introspective artists—become vessels for the audience to contemplate the human condition. The absence of explicit identities allows viewers to project themselves onto these characters, making the themes universally relevant. The concept of a Nietzschean Zarathustra echoes through the trilogy, not as a singular character but as an idea that manifests differently in each film. The new Zarathustras of the world are not only mourners of the death of God but, in a contemporary twist, may also be complicit in killing or redefining these metaphysical entities. This dynamic highlights the evolving nature of belief systems and the responsibility individuals bear in shaping the narratives that govern societies. The trilogy engages with philosophical ideas from thinkers such as Simone de Beauvoir and Audre Lorde. The distinction between the master, vulnerable, and powerful, as well as the critique of using the master's tools to dismantle the master's house, add layers of depth to the exploration of power dynamics, oppression, and societal structures. The Proustian and Kafkaesque moments contribute to the atmosphere of the trilogy. For instance, the juxtaposition of dystopian imagery and moments of melancholia in "World of Grey Men" tries to create a nuanced emotional landscape. The trilogy borrows elements from existential philosophy, absurdism, and critiques of societal structures to craft a narrative that invites introspection and contemplation. In essence, this trilogy is a tapestry of ideas. This philosophical exploration invites the audience to confront the fragility of existence, grapple with the consequences of societal choices, and reflect on the ever-shifting nature of belief systems.

Deep Down Animation Meme featuring the most popular tops and bottoms of the game cuz I needed something simple to practice using After Effects. Lowkey enjoyed drawing the tops more (but I always enjoy drawing my beloved Edmond).Inspired by this version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJdLtfpJrdoI guess I can finally blogpost about this cuz I finished this last night at almost 6 in the morning and was completely loopy/delirious so I just didn't have the energy. There was so much randomly inconvenient garbage I had to tweak that night that it just doesn't look super consistent to me. Like the end part where it goes from half bod Ollie and Edmomd to the close up versions, it doesn't look as crispy as the part with Kuku and Quincy. Also the timing was somehow off even though it looked just fine in my roughs which messed up my whole perception of timing for the whole project. Just a bit salty that I couldn't work on this continuously with school stuff getting in the way. Like, I had a pretty good flow but then I had to take a break on it for a week. Either way tho, this is the most After Effects-y thing I've done and the difference from this and the animations I made using only Flash is pretty crazy for me. I'm planning on working on another yaoi comfort animation using more motion graphics techniques, hopefully when I'm on break. Cuz I know I'm gonna have to work on my annoying film for part of the break, so I wanna at least do the animatic. Mang, I don't wanna do job hunting during break. Cuz this is definitely gonna be a good portfolio piece, I just can't put it in my reel cuz it's not gonna be done. I think I have a decent amount of work I could put in for my reel tho. Hm.OK whatever spiralling tangent over.

a cut scene from a porject to minimal animate conversations into a scifi narrative

So I had a few year ago for a film (that I actually made money from) created this mix of all styles scifi mumble core film. The main dialogue would be improvised and then animated to fit into the main characters going to the central story's location. This was a cut scene. Some cg elements were never rendered (most of the light elements had some amount of steam or bubbles coming off them to give the perception of these being chemical light reactions). This was a story I told about buying craft services for the actors and hearing this convo to get everyone warmed up and relaxed. Never made it into the film. The abstract horror film shows two different people and their perceptions on art they do

The film Artitled is about my mental state, and Is a collaboration with someone who has a completely parallel artstyle and point of view towards the concept of art itself – my good friend from University, Felisa. The film showcases two different people and their perceptions and takes on the work they do that is producing their art, in a very abstract and horror-like manner...It talks about my genuine frustration towards all art. Some get fame by doing something so degenerate, whereas others work years to achieve something. I do not necessarily crave fame, despite wanting to be remembered, I used to make content based on extremely popular media at the time, and once I’ve started making original things, the audience I thought I had which watched all my unoriginal works had vanished, and only those loyal to me as a creator stayed… And that’s when I realized I should work not for the general public, but for what makes me and those who care for me truly proud and satisfied with my work... Artitled - An Abstract Short Horror Comedy Animated Film [Collaboration With Felisa]

A girl kidnaps a guy to remove one of his eyes to keep it forever

Big thanks to Euphionia for making the music for this!https://euphioniaofficial.newgrounds.com/ Okay so she takes out one of his eyes, put it in a jar and proceeds to sew a button where his eye usted to be. Why? Well, I think she might want to keep his eye so he can always see her even when he is not there with her. Or perhaps she wants to mess with his depth perception so it's harder for him to escape while retaining all of his limbs. I'm not sure, but what I'm sure about is that she is definitely an well adjusted member of society and great girlfriend material. this is an animation based on this drawing that I made in 2020

Title: Crossline-Paranormal Adventure THIS IS JUST A TITLE SCREEN. FULL CHAPTER WILL BE COMING UP SOONER OR LATER. Cross-Crossover and Line-Crossing the Line
Concept: Winning and Losing Genre: Oh boy, lets break the boundaries! (Supernatural, Thriller, Humor, Mystery, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Comedy, Drama, Dark Humor, etc) Hey, it's a crossover alright...
Synopsis: A 24 year old wallflower is identified as a sheep, was diagnosed with dissociative disorder, a mental illness of which a person cannot recognized its identity, memory, awareness, and/or perception of reality. She goes on a wild "crossover" journey in search of belonging and become the greatest asset of all! However, after making multiple failed attempts to succeed from different worlds, she falls into severe depression and anxiety. Overall, a self-loathing nihilist no guaranteed. Out of all the categories, will she be able to find a sole purpose of her life? My goal is to write a story that could push the boundaries of trying to be unique, but not original, since most ideas have been already taken after the dawning of stone age. If you watch Rick and Morty, Bojack Horseman, Duckman, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Twilight Zone, or read Don Quixote novel, the story I'm about to write maybe similar (but modern) in the extent of being satirical as well as tragic.

Crossline: Paranormal Adventure

Link awakes after 100 years to find that all the swords in Hyrule are made of cardboard.

Holy fuck did this take forever. I started this back in March of 2017, and no it didn't take over a year to make a two minute cartoon, but when I think about it, it feels like it still took 4 or 5 months of solid work, at least, there were a few spans of a couple weeks where I was working on this non-stop, including the last month, and I don't understand how I spent so long on a just barely two minute cartoon, though tbf a lot of the animation here is on 1's (just because of how fast a lot of it is) so that might have to do with it. It didn't feel like I spent too long on the animation though, but my perception of time is pretty fucked so maybe I did, I don't know. Anyways, I was gonna put a whole production write-up here but apparently it's too long, so that will be in a news post!!! Basically though, this took too long, and I wanted it to be the best it could be, but it wasn't worth it so I cut some corners, but hopefully people still enjoy it so all the time spent is worth it. The Clocks of Perception

Two boys come to terms with their minds and their reality

Two boys face trauma and grow up perceiving the world as a bleak and uncaring villain. As they move forward and find that their weaknesses aren't just weaknesses, their world gets a little brighter. An exploration on perception and the subconscious, how it interacts with our realities, and many other ideas and storytelling tactics. The experiment is also on the viewer, as there is far too much information to fully recognize with one watch, and the storytelling itself isn't totally traditional. Let me know what it was like to watch this, I can never know first hand as I know the project too well. Wait Until Now

This is a short film about spiritual perception. You can define it as a mental illness, or it is a poem:
I am my own existence, my will is the hand that drags the horse of substance;
I choose to live 9 inches of life instead of 2, and my sense of feeling grow 7 inches more too;
My will is a running fugitive for time and space, regardless of that chain on my chin.

Seventh Nebula - Perception

Germaine gets out of an asylum after a mental breakdown. (1st episode of the current reboot, season 5) If you haven't been keeping up with the series, this is going to be a WTF? Basically the last few seasons was a mental mind-bending trip through Germaine's warped self-perception. And a lot of those episodes came off rather "artsy" but things are slowly panning out. Kinda the problem of being one guy working on all this. Takes forever to make a point with sub-text and plot.

An ode to miraclefruit.

The timelapse captures all four seasons and transforms the flow of time and the perception of natural processes to the surrealistick form to the boundary perceivable using up to two thousend acceleration. The document loses the continuity of time, as we used to perceive him and focuses on small details change a whole, which consists of the main subject of the garden and its position in the environment of the city of Jihlava in a constantly changing landscape, where it unexpectedly born fantastic idea of the Time, perceptibility, variability and fate. This weeks parable expands on what we have discussed in the previous parables. The problems in your life change when your perception of them changes, and this parable is about perceiving your problems as a whole, and shifting your understanding about your place in life. Shifting to what? you may ask... to whatever you want, but preferably, much more awesome! Made with Love by~

A compelling commentary on perception and existence.

A compelling commentary on perception and existence.

Nice Tie

Early years
The late 1950s in London saw the term "RAVE" used to describe the "wild bohemian parties" of the Soho beatnik slt.[4] In 1958 Buddy Holly recorded the hit "Rave On," citing the madness and frenzy of a feeling and the desire for it to never end.[5] The word "rave" was later used in the burgeoning mod youth culture of the early 1960s as the way to describe any wild party in general. People who were gregarious party animals were described as "ravers". Pop musicians such as Steve Marriott of The Small Faces and Clare Willans were self-described "ravers". Presaging the word's subsequent 1980s association with electronic music, the word "rave" was a common term used regarding the music of mid-60s garage rock and psychedelia bands (notably The Yardbirds). Along with being an alternative term for partying at such garage events in general, the "rave-up" referred to a specific crescendo moment near the end of a song where the music was played faster, heavier and with intense soloing or elements of controlled feedback.[6] It was later part of the title of an electronic music performance event held on 28 January 1967 at London's Roundhouse titled the "Million Volt Light and Sound Rave". The event featured the only known public airing of an experimental sound collage created for the occasion by Paul McCartney of The Beatles - the legendary Carnival of Light recording.[7] With the rapid change of British pop culture from the mod era of 1963-1966 to the hippie era of 1967 and beyond, the term fell out of popular usage. During the 1970s and early 1980s until its resurrection, the term was not in vogue, one notable exception being in the lyrics of the song "Drive-In Saturday" by David Bowie (from his 1973 album Aladdin Sane) which includes the line "It's a crash course for the ravers." Its use during that era would have been perceived as a quaint or ironic use of bygone slang: part of the dated 1960s lexicon along with words such as "groovy". The perception of the word changed again in the late 1980s when the term was revived and adopted by a new youth culture, possibly inspired by the use of the term in Jamaica.[4] In the mid to late 1980s a wave of psychedelic and other electronic dance music, most notably acid house and Techno, emerged and caught on in the clubs, warehouses, and free-parties around Manchester and later London. These early raves were called Acid House Parties. They were mainstream events that attracted thousands of people (up to 25,000[citation needed] instead of the 4,000 that came to earlier warehouse parties). Acid House parties were first re-branded "rave parties" in the media, during the summer of 1989 by Neil Andrew Megson during a television interview. In the UK, in 1988-89, raves were similar to football matches in that they provided a setting for working-class unification, in a time with a union movement in decline and few jobs, and many of the attendees of raves were die-hard football fans.[8] In the late 1980s, the word "rave" was adopted to describe the subculture that grew out of the acid house movement.[9] Activities were related to the party atmosphere of Ibiza, a Mediterranean island in Spain, frequented by British, Italians, and German youth on vacation.[2] The fear that a certain number of rave party attendees used "club drugs" such as MDMA, cocaine, amphetamines and, more recently, ketamine, was taken by authorities as a pretext to ban those parties altogether. British politicians responded with hostility to the emerging rave party trend. Politicians spoke out against raves and began to fine anyone who held illegal parties. Police crackdowns on these often-illegal parties drove the scene into the countryside. The word "rave" somehow caught on in the UK to describe common semi-spontaneous weekend parties occurring at various locations linked by the brand new M25 London Orbital motorway that ringed London and the Home Counties. (It was this that gave the band Orbital their name.) These ranged from former warehouses and industrial sites, in London, to fields and country clubs
