Hurts So Good

Welcome, all who venture here!So much time has passed ever since I uploaded my first animation ever (that one pixel animation from ages past). But now that I have reconsidered animating again, I have finally chosen to pursue it seriously. To those who are out of the loop, nearly two weeks ago, I wrote a very lengthy letter ("A Note To Self") congratulating one of my animator friends on reaching a new subscriber milestone. I was really at a low point both physically and mentally, all because I couldn't stop comparing myself to others, and I couldn't simply forgive myself for so many misdeeds I had committed before. So many missed projects, so many ideas wasted simply because I "weren't in the mood". But with what I had done for the entirety of last week, I can now bid farewell to all that negativity, and leave the past where it belongs. This Miniature compilation is the first one, a milestone in a long and winding path. All the way back in late January, I had my first chance to animate after so long. Stuck in a room, with my little sibling, I grabbed a stylus, turned on my phone, and started this journey. Thank goodness it was nighttime, and even though the lunar new year fireworks were certainly loud, our room was silent enough not to wake him up. If only I could keep up that pace and animate some more...Fast forward two months. I woke up to a commotion. Thousands of voices, all around a very familiar face. A man with white hair and beard was in the center of it. He was a director in his studio, whose animations made our childhood. I could never forget him, even after years had passed since the last time I watched his films. And yet, he was at the center of this giant controversy. Curious, I looked up, and realized that he was at the mercy of an utterly deplorable enemy of creativity. All of his works, once taking years to create, now could be "generated" at the click of a button. And the world could only watch, as thousands of pictures, artworks, films... soon were "remade" in his style. However, the world did not simply watch. Creators everywhere soon condemned this bastardization and commodification of creativity. Some even took things into their own hands and drew their own work, taking honest inspirations from him, with honest effort. Seeing this giant battle unfold before my eyes, a passion, long sealed inside the deep and dark corners of my mind, was suddenly rekindled. This time, I sit before my tablet, free of all distractions. I wanted to tell them, those who brazenly stood against the "tide of change", that I wanted to contribute, even if my contributions are small and unseen. And before I knew it, a week had passed, and I had done things that I could never have expected before. My mind harked back to that very lengthy letter I wrote. That letter... perhaps was the universe's calling for me to rise up from darkness, and fight for what I had once lost. So, to whatever force that allowed me to compose that letter, thank you. You had allowed me to finally realize myself for what I truly am, and cast asunder all those delusions that once defined "my life". Moreover, I am also grateful for every creator - every composer, animator, artist... whose work I had referenced and used in my creations, for they are the living proof that creation is an irreplaceable means of self-expression, that no algorithm or machine can ever "generate".I hope you enjoy this animation compilation of mine. There may be mistakes, and shortcomings that I will have to address in the future, but what is certain is that this is an honest effort that I offer to you. Thank you for supporting me, and for showing me a greater way of life.I may not be famous, but I would rather be honest. Let us preserve this honesty, now and forever.

Koubenian Miniatures, Vol. 1

Thanks for watching my independent animation! Please consider supporting me! Be sure to subscribe and hit the bell so you don't miss a cartoon! LOVE YOU (I've decided to start chatting about my work in the description moving forward. Have a read if you're interested in my process!) vv Well Episode 2 is here. This is easily my favorite piece of art I've ever created. I had a really good time adding some action shots to an otherwise action-less episode of my work. I really love this high contrast pallet. The crazy bright characters turned out sooo good on the dark corporeal realm court room. I certainly intend to write a script that capitalizes on these sort of visuals for my next project. In this episode we meet Katie Spring. Man did Corgan ever demolish this performance. It was so fun watching her bring Katie to life. The performance is so energetic that it motivated me to do all her over-the-top expressions. originally she wasn't going to be on screen when telling Kal about the Keepers. But the performance was just too good to not have her on the screen. I've tried to not dump a huge amount of exposition in my work. It has sadly led to a lack of understanding from the audience. So in this episode I tried to lay out a lot of what's going on, in addition to preserving some mystery. I have begun writing the script for my NEXT project after STPPM is complete. This storywriting problem is the number one priority moving forward with said script. While I love this episode, I want the exposition and action to be more intertwined moving forward. I got to voice Damian, the Keeper of Radness. This is one of my favorite performances ever. Damian is so fun to perform,. I feel more attached to him than I do playing Kal. I fear Kal is a flat lead character. Which leads me to not be super stoked on the performance, or animation. This is a problem I plan to eradicate when moving on to the next series. I do like Kal. He will be much more meaningfully interesting towards the back end of STPPM. But I simply feel hes outshined by Katie and Damian. I'm excited to write new characters with these self-critiques in mind. I think that's all I have to say about Episode 2 for now. I had so much fun with it. The colors being the big winner, But the performances, stepped animation, and shot composition were all such amazing highlights. Can't wait to for more animation soon! Super Turbo Power Punch MAXED Episode 2

understand why they had to give him eye whites with pupils and that reason being it allows for better expressions

A Mouse of Many Colors

A mind control helmet gets attached to Hilda.

A mind control helmet gets attached to Hilda. What will happen?!?! Oh and Cynthia is there too! Mew won't help! My most recently finished try-hardy animation. Most of my effort probably went into facial expressions.Note to self, if one makes a video mostly focused on bjs don't put a big bulky helmet on their head. Probably could have done better with the camera.I wonder what I'll make next.Anyway enjoy. :'D There is a attempted sound version on my rule34.

Hilda's MC troubles

The idea of a dark truth surfacing - the more psychological aspect of a self-confession is what I ended

Little Merry Ego

(You can say isn't an absurdist/existentialist expression, or a critique on retributive justice or bias

infinitely large, and that the only true sanctuary from the mess we've made externally, is within ones own self
