2026 Note : This series would probably (probably not) get rebooted again because...yeahh...its kinda rushed and the writing was bad...Episode 1-3 was kinda just a remake of the original just with better character Sprites and animation but it's still bad so yeahh there will be no part 7 because the story was kinda of a mess tbh The series was kinda based on the Angry Birds Toons like the shorter runtime and stupid plots and humor but the difference is that this is so bad than what it's based on also it has too many Henry Stickmin references and plot convenience soo it's that bad HAHAHAHA Coming back to it now in 2026 well it's..pretty cringe HAHAHAHAHAHAH it overuses many sound effects and the dialogue is stupid man xDit's even more outdated with the reference of that cringy English or Spanish thing too on it's very last episode TvT Subscribe! https://youtube.com/@anjoanimationsYT?si=jx9otiJyQVqStPUG Announcement:Closing the chapter on animation... Guys, it's hard for me to write this, but I've decided to put animation to rest, maybe for good. Episode 2 is cancelled, and I'll only be posting occasional shorts and reposts here and there. It's not because I don't love it, because I do, I just don't know if it's worth the pain anymore. I've been struggling with burnout, comparison, and self-doubt for a long time. Seeing others succeed while I'm stuck feels like a punch to the gut. I know they're deserving, and I'm genuinely happy for them, but it's hard not to feel like I'm failing. The truth is, animation's been my passion, but it's also been my stress. School, lack of support, and no income... it's all taken a toll. I feel like I've wasted time and energy on something that's not working out. Some dreams are just dreams, and it's probably best to just leave it behind and move on. It's tough to let go, but maybe it's time to focus on what's truly important. My well-being, my relationships, and finding a path that brings me peace, not just passion. Thanks for watching and supporting me, guys. You guys meant the world to me. I'll miss creating for you, but I need to prioritize myself now. Take care, and maybe someday I'll see you around... —Anjo Animations

Franklin has an idea to get more money in the shop

Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him. WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband & wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.

The Smokehouse Chronicles Animation Pitch

Credit to Jay Sean for that Down song. Totally not 4 kids. Show Pitch: A group of 5 (A Little Bong, a bag of Hash, a rolled-in Joint, a pack of Cr*ck, and a female Nicotine) live in a city where everything gets high in the air, but not literally. Once an unsold bong that sat neglected on a dusty shelf, then a framed criminal wrongly accused of a crime he did not commit, now a housemate, Bongo is one of the main protagonists in the show. Bongo's character is characterized by his laid-back demeanor, effortlessly radiating a sense of tranquility that grounds the chaos around him. Johnny Hash is not just an average bag of Hash; he exudes a palpable Gangster-like attitude that sets him apart from the rest. As the Second Main protagonist in the show, he brings a certain charisma and edge to the narrative, making his presence indispensable. Despite his tough exterior, Johnny Hash is not one to be without his vulnerabilities. Sometimes, his temper flares, especially when others start messing around with things that matter to him. Joint Jones, the anthropomorphic rolled-up blunt, is known for his witty and imaginative personality, which shines through in most situations. Despite his quick wit and charm, he often finds himself in situations where his clumsiness leads to comical mishaps. With a penchant for cracking jokes and coming up with creative solutions, he brightens the mood wherever he goes. Crackhead is depicted as a cube of Cocaine in the show, where he serves as one of the essential main characters alongside others. Known for his complex personality, he not only communicates fluently in English but impressively also speaks French, showcasing his diverse linguistic abilities. It is interesting to note that Crackhead has a peculiar trait - when his skin, resembling cocaine, is stimulated, he undergoes a state of madness, intensifying the storyline with his unpredictable behavior. Niconette, a 21-year-old female humanoid Nicotine, holds a significant role as the second main protagonist on the show. Her character exudes a charming blend of awkwardness and shyness, adding depth to her persona. Despite her endearing quirks, she was one time kicked out of her parents' home for doing Nicotine. This experience has shaped her resilience and desire for acceptance, leading her to find solace among her new housemates. Amidst her journey of self-discovery, Niconette finds herself drawn to Bongo, harboring a tender crush that adds a touch of romance to her intriguing storyline. The Smokehouse Chronicles is a stoner-based animated television show that airs on YouTube.

Self Harm

Support me www.patreon.com/wafellmaker Well here we are; The STPPM finale. I had so so so much fun with this project. I'm Genuinely so happy with how the finale turned out. I will leave below another little diary entry about this episode. I understand my pipeline - release infrequency does not please the YouTube algorithm, and I know of strategies I could employ to better my odds. (making smaller, easier projects, animating trending topics, etc) I believe while these strategies would better my chances of getting my art out there, they would make me disappointed in myself as an artist. I've made the conscious decision to take the hard route to make me happy with what I'm doing, even if my work is less publicly 'successful.' Despite knowing all of this, it is still extremely disheartening to spend months and months on an episode, only to release it and see it gain zero traction. So disheartening that it actually had me seriously consider giving up on Super Turbo Power Punch MAXED after episode 2. I am so glad I didn't. I am so glad I finished this series. I believe it to be something truly special to me. But before I get ahead of myself, lets talk about episode 5. This chat may leak into topics across the whole series, as at the time of writing this I just watched the series as a whole, and feelings towards STPPM as a whole certainly are flowing. Kal's redesign was planned in the script. But I didn't actually have a plan for what I wanted him to look like when he became the Keeper of Radness. I waited until I got to Damian's death before modeling Kal. I really like Kals new design. The black belt caused me some headache, but I think the result was worth it. I really like a lot of the dialog between Kal and Korloc in this episode. It's a lot of high inspired confrontational silliness. Stuff I like to imagine Kal picked up across all of his movie watching both in the vision realm and over the course of his childhood. I watched a lot of Kung-fu movies as a child. Which of course was accompanied with all kinds of action movies of all way shapes and forms. Basically everything Jet Li, Fearless, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The One, The Protector, Ong Bak, Matrix,. I could go on and on. Martial arts always attracted my interest as I am a huge action fan. My family means a great deal to me, and while I have always and continue to connect with different members of my family over different things, I spent a great portion of time watching these films with my Dad. My Dad was hugely involved in my childhood and is unquestionably the culprit in injecting an appreciation for kung fu movies into my life. (Hey what do you know, The effect you have on others, eh?) Anyways, kung fu movies hold a special place in my heart, and I thank my dad for that. The shot towards the end of Episode 4 of Kal and Damian watching Kung fu movies in the vision realm reminds me of those days with my dad. huddled in front of the family TV rewinding the VHS to watch the cool fight scene once more. A lot of Kal's kung fu is just him waving his hands around. As though all he did was perceive kung fu fights through TV rather than being trained seriously. Because that's exactly what he did. There was a time when I was a kid I used to think I could be a master just by watching TV. But after just 10 minutes of jumping around doing kung fu in the backyard, it was always easier to just go inside to watch more kung fu and daydream, much like my fellow enthusiast Kal. Kal takes his 'training' much more seriously than I ever did. But the inspiration for his character was a hyper-dramatic version of my younger self. A caricature of the 'I watch kung fu movies I know what im doing' type. The fact we did not see the lessons Kal learned in the movies directly was perhaps a strange choice for the story. It was however a conscious decision for the overall message and theme. We learn from the influences around us. Of those influences, it's our jobs as people to filter and deduce what is worth passing on to others, and what we can let go of. With this in mind, it doesn't matter what specific influences did what to Kal directly. Kal made the decision that of everything he's learned,. Being Rad is whats worth passing on. I feel I could talk all day about the nitty gritty but a lot of it is pretty self-explanatory as to what I was going for, so I leave it to you! I started writing a script for my next project back in August of 2024. I plan to start working on my new project very soon. But fear not, Another action packed story is coming. Thanks again everyone for your patience, and your loving support through my journey. I love you all dearly. Support it on youtube: https://youtu.be/e_BNZQa4T3k Crafted meticulously over the span of two years from 2021 to 2023, I was in a hard spot in my life (just like much of the world) and was losing my creative fire after coming off an 8 year project. I needed something to take me out of a rut and I decided to immerse myself into a passion project; something that gave me the same feeling I had as a kid just making short animations for fun. I wanted to go back to the animation that started it all for me and that was the original Genryu's Blade. For those unfamiliar, this animation was recreation of the original Genryu's Blade flash animation from 2001 (link below) which was first posted on Newgrounds and got lost to the depths of the internet. Luckily someone had reuploaded to Youtube a couple of years ago. It was a HUGE inspiration to my 12 year old self at the time and really put me on the creative course that I am on now. It proved to me that one person can create something amazing if they dedicate their time and effort to something they believe in. Now as an adult I wanted to prove to myself that I could create something of that caliber with the tools I had available. Everything you see is entirely created in Dreams (with a sprinkle of post processing), and brought to life with nothing more than a PlayStation and a PS4 controller. It's a love letter to my 12 year old self that I'm finally ready to share and hopefully every frame that I created for this animation reflects the dedication I poured into this project. Dreams allowed me to create playfully and gave many more the opportunity to do so. So this project was not only a love letter to myself but also to Genryu's Blade and Media Molecules Dreams.

I used Toon Boon, student version 4.0. Yeah, the one made for Windows XP. What can I say, I'm retro. I don't think I'm ever going to get that rubbery squish/squash animation I want, nor will my cartoon faces be finely articulated to express deep emotion. I'm lazy. Limited animation is hard, making a full blown fancy animation by oneself is probably considered "self harm." I have no illusions of ever being a pro. Too old, too jaded. Again, too lazy. Still, even though I'm a perpetual amateur, I like to experiment and play around. I'd kinda like to maybe, collaborate? Sure, collaborate with other animators in some way. Why not!
