Stupid Not To S3 Ep9: Get a Lobotomy

Proof of concept for our upcoming series MOTHELL

The Mothell is always open.Come in. Sit down.Something will come along. Okay, let me try to explain a bit of the context, even though words aren't really my thing. The concept is very simple: we're in this surreal diner/motel floating in a space/non-space, where ambiguous characters come looking for... rest? Comfort? Who knows... And where things happen. In every episode a new character is added, and there will be no time ellipses — they'll all be consecutive. All episodes together, watched in a row, will form a single short/feature film, I imagine.Nothing earth-shattering in the traditional sense, but every episode is a metaphor for something — although I won't be the one to say which ones, I'd like everyone to see what they want in it.There's a lore behind it, and what happens happens for a reason, but again, I'd like you to discover it as you go through the series. I'd like to tell you how this idea was born, but I've spent the last two weeks working so intensely day and night on this project... so many ideas, so many changes of direction, additions, modifications, that I've forgotten what the initial spark was. I think that at some point I simply said to myself "Hey, let's try to produce something, doesn't matter what." And so I started putting together some of the low poly assets I've created over the last few years, without worrying too much about the story, just to see what happened. To have that feeling again from when I was a child and played with my toys, and it was enough to just spread them out in front of me on the floor, and suddenly they came to life and anything could happen. And, just like back then, everything happened. I took my "abandoned factory" assets and built a diner out of them (if you look closely you'll notice everything is wrong — the tables are workbenches, so too high to comfortably eat at, and the counter is too low, which is why the protagonists sit in those awkward positions — and those are just two examples), I added a couple of human characters, and made up something for them to do.From there some stories started taking shape in my head, enough to start thinking about making a series out of it, and what seemed like a one-off thing now feels like one of the most interesting projects I've ever come up with. We'll see if that's true. The only rule I gave myself: I want it to be weird, to look off, to reflect my personal pursuit of the "not beautiful." I know, not much of all this happens in this first episode — the main goal here was to see if I was capable of finishing one — but I promise you, as we go on, it'll get better. Then, obviously it's all weird — or maybe I should say New Weird? I'm a huge Jeff VanderMeer fan — so I imagine you have to be into the genre a bit, but either way I'm giving it everything I've got. I'm also leaving here a photo of my paper storyboard, even if you probably won't make much sense of it, I can barely make sense of it myself haha — initially I was planning to post it only as a reel on Instagram, which is why it's in vertical format.Thank you so much for your attention and see you next time! Squonks are a self loathing, elusive cryptid creature believed to live in the forests of Northern Pennsylvania. While attempts to approach a Squonk may result in the creature melting into a puddle of its own tears, a documentary film crew managed to sit one down for an interview. “A Squonk’s Day” follows this interview as we learn about the Squonk’s species, way of life, and even the Squonk’s tragic past. sit still

At first glance, Angry Birds is absurd: small, round creatures with no arms, no real strategy, and an unwavering commitment to being launched at high velocity into architectural malpractice. It looks like chaos for the sake of chaos. But sit with it for a moment, and it starts to feel less like a game and more like a quiet philosophical confession. The birds are angry, yes—but their anger is focused. Purposeful. They do not rage randomly at the sky or at each other. Their fury is aimed, quite literally, toward structures that symbolize theft, imbalance, and fragile power. The pigs hide behind walls of wood, stone, and glass, believing that complexity equals security. And for a while, they’re right. The towers stand. The pigs laugh. Power appears stable. Then the birds fly. Each bird is an argument. The red bird is brute persistence: the belief that force alone can still mean something. The blue birds split themselves apart, suggesting that adaptability—becoming more than one thing when the moment demands it—is a form of intelligence. The yellow bird accelerates midair, a reminder that timing matters as much as direction. Even the black bird, who destroys itself to destroy others, asks an uncomfortable question: Is sacrifice meaningful if it guarantees change? You never launch all the birds at once. You wait. You measure angles. You accept failure. Often, the first attempt collapses nothing. The second only weakens a beam. Progress arrives not as triumph, but as cracks—tiny, satisfying signs that systems built on greed and shortcuts were never as solid as they appeared. And the pigs? They are not evil masterminds. They are complacent. They grin. They assume the past will protect them. Their downfall is not caused by genius villains, but by persistence from creatures who refuse to stop caring. In the end, Angry Birds isn’t about destruction. It’s about pressure. About how enough small, determined actions—aimed with intention—can bring down structures that seem immovable. It’s about the idea that anger, when shaped by purpose, becomes agency. The birds don’t ask if the tower deserves to fall. They simply line up, one by one, and prove that it can. (Thank you Chat GPT for the philosophical examination of Angry Birds) Also thanks for watching Youtube: https://youtu.be/Ih9JC_btTQs?si=M1AtDTT5YaQdiAjf

After months of battling with this project, I decided to put it out a couple weeks ago. This is my third official animated short film, titled "Gibberish". It's a project that took some months to make and that I made mostly to get out of a depression. I screened it in December of last year to some fellow students and professors, only to sit on it for months after. Have you ever felt like made something at such a specific time that you simply couldn't return to it once you left that time and place? That's how I felt. I crawled out of my depression and looked back on this as having been made by someone else. Another version of me. Thus, as much as I tried to return to it and put polish or finish things out a bit more, I simply couldn't do it. I didn't recognize it enough anymore. I was tired of it sitting on my hard drive, so I said f**k it... time to upload. Enjoy <3

Years ago I thought of a dumb joke and decided to animate it, Unfortunately as it was years ago I did not fully understand the ethical problems with AI Voices and LLM's in general. This didn't sit right with me so I deleted the video and remade it using my voice and my voice alone, as well as better (hopefully) animation.

May the 4th be with you! To celebrate Star Wars Day and Star Wars: Episode 3: Revenge of The Sith's 20th anniversary, I have uploaded a movie entitled "Star Wars: Episode 3: Revenge of The Vince" in glorious 1080p. Here is a link to the original, which is an interactive SWF file... Don't forget to follow me over on Twitch! http://twitch.tv/Vinstigator Special thanks goes out to @TomFulp! He inspired me to make this movie after putting my "Chrono Trigger: Fall of Guardia" movie in the Chrono Trigger Collections page AND on the front page back in 2004! The fact that I was on the front page the same time as the Numa Numa guy was pretty surreal and it is a memory that has stuck with me over 20 years later! I thank him for all of the opportunities he has given me. Here is the movie that was featured by Tom. In addition to making the front page, it also won Daily Feature, got hand picked to be put in the Chrono Trigger Collections Page, and got over 120,000 views and hundreds of reviews! Needless to say, this is still my most successful movie to date... The song playing at the end is "On My Mind". It was produced by my friend maer808 and vocals were recorded by me and Magic Mike.z. You can download the song here... And now on to the movie! Synopsis: Darth Paper is obsessed with hentai. It's what keeps him going and allows him to use "the force". It gives him all his power! And now he is spamming up the Newgrounds BBS! If he keeps this up, the General forum will shut down forever via a shot from the Death Star! Vince will do everything in his power to stop him! Will he succeed? Or will Darth become one with the paper? I got the legendary Omahdon to voice act in this movie! He is most famous for voicing the Black Mage in the popular "8 Bit Theater" series. In this movie he is the voice of Vince. My friend Mightydein voices General Moogle and my other friend Psychowom voices Darth Paper. Also, Robo thanks everyone for their reviews 🤖 This is a Chrono Trigger Sprite movie with a Star Wars twist! So sit back, relax, and may the force be with you!

Star Wars Episode 3 ROTV - 20th Anniversary

Porn scene with Vetra Nyx the female Turian with a human

The bar floated at the edge of the orbital station above Palaven, suspended in the reddish glow of the nearby star. Through the polarized windows, ships drifted past like tired fireflies. Inside, the lighting pulsed between violet and deep blue, and the music - a blend of Earth jazz and synthetic alien tones - wrapped the patrons in a strange, dreamy haze.Elias, his pilot helmet still clipped to his belt, sipped a glass of local liqueur while watching the figures come and go. He was working for a big trader company. He was the driver, the delivery guy, the guy taking things across the galaxy where he is told to leave them. He just finished a big one for a big client on Palaven, and now, he was off duty, waiting for another package to bring back.He never really knew the Turians. He didn't hate them like some human extremist do, but he never like them either. Now that he think about it, he never interracted with them before. Only from far away or some clients to deliver, but that's it. Being so close to their home planet felt exotic, he was feeling really far away from home. He wasn’t the type to seek out company, but tonight, the scent of ozone and sugar in the air gave him a strange feeling… like something was about to change. She approached without a sound. She was tall, wearing a classical turian outfit. Two large greenish eyes watched him with amused curiosity. Across her face were purple stripes, crossing over her eyes, underlying their color.- "May I sit?"Her voice vibrated in the air, like a low, tender song.Elias nodded, captivated.- "Not every day a turian decides to talk to someone in a dive like this."- "Not every day I see a human who doesn’t look away from my eyes," she replied with a soft smile.Elias shivered. For a first contact, it was going pretty well. And what's better than having something to share to have a reason to talk.- "May I buy you a drink ?"Her eyes pierced through him.- "Sure."He ordered two glasses of what he was already drinking, for her and for him. They spoke for hours. Of their worlds, the loneliness of the star routes, the lovers lost in forgotten systems. He told her about his job, his travelling, the peace of being on your own in deep space, inside your little spaceship. She told him about her. Her name is Vetra Nyx, she is a mechanic. She has a little sister she's deeply protective about. A few more drinks happened. Time flew. At some point, without realizing it, their hands had drawn close.- "You know," she said as her fingers brushed his, "gravity feels strange here. Everything seems to slide gently toward you."He chuckled, a little shy, but didn’t pull away.- "Are you staying on the station tonight?"She tilted her head, her eyes sparkling like stars.- "Only if you are."A tender silence wrapped around them.He paid for their drinks, and she led him toward the exit, her hand in his, as if it were the most natural thing in the universe. And in the pulsing light of the space-lit night, two hearts -galaxies apart just hours before- granted themselves the luxury of a moment of love. I really hope you will like it as much as I do ! SUPERDAVE DIRECTOR’S CUT

Wanted to put this on here before it’s lost forever like a ton of my other animation. I am working towards getting some new projects started so sit tight!

My GOD, Robots! ep. 11 (unfinished)

Welcome, all who venture here!So much time has passed ever since I uploaded my first animation ever (that one pixel animation from ages past). But now that I have reconsidered animating again, I have finally chosen to pursue it seriously. To those who are out of the loop, nearly two weeks ago, I wrote a very lengthy letter ("A Note To Self") congratulating one of my animator friends on reaching a new subscriber milestone. I was really at a low point both physically and mentally, all because I couldn't stop comparing myself to others, and I couldn't simply forgive myself for so many misdeeds I had committed before. So many missed projects, so many ideas wasted simply because I "weren't in the mood". But with what I had done for the entirety of last week, I can now bid farewell to all that negativity, and leave the past where it belongs. This Miniature compilation is the first one, a milestone in a long and winding path. All the way back in late January, I had my first chance to animate after so long. Stuck in a room, with my little sibling, I grabbed a stylus, turned on my phone, and started this journey. Thank goodness it was nighttime, and even though the lunar new year fireworks were certainly loud, our room was silent enough not to wake him up. If only I could keep up that pace and animate some more...Fast forward two months. I woke up to a commotion. Thousands of voices, all around a very familiar face. A man with white hair and beard was in the center of it. He was a director in his studio, whose animations made our childhood. I could never forget him, even after years had passed since the last time I watched his films. And yet, he was at the center of this giant controversy. Curious, I looked up, and realized that he was at the mercy of an utterly deplorable enemy of creativity. All of his works, once taking years to create, now could be "generated" at the click of a button. And the world could only watch, as thousands of pictures, artworks, films... soon were "remade" in his style. However, the world did not simply watch. Creators everywhere soon condemned this bastardization and commodification of creativity. Some even took things into their own hands and drew their own work, taking honest inspirations from him, with honest effort. Seeing this giant battle unfold before my eyes, a passion, long sealed inside the deep and dark corners of my mind, was suddenly rekindled. This time, I sit before my tablet, free of all distractions. I wanted to tell them, those who brazenly stood against the "tide of change", that I wanted to contribute, even if my contributions are small and unseen. And before I knew it, a week had passed, and I had done things that I could never have expected before. My mind harked back to that very lengthy letter I wrote. That letter... perhaps was the universe's calling for me to rise up from darkness, and fight for what I had once lost. So, to whatever force that allowed me to compose that letter, thank you. You had allowed me to finally realize myself for what I truly am, and cast asunder all those delusions that once defined "my life". Moreover, I am also grateful for every creator - every composer, animator, artist... whose work I had referenced and used in my creations, for they are the living proof that creation is an irreplaceable means of self-expression, that no algorithm or machine can ever "generate".I hope you enjoy this animation compilation of mine. There may be mistakes, and shortcomings that I will have to address in the future, but what is certain is that this is an honest effort that I offer to you. Thank you for supporting me, and for showing me a greater way of life.I may not be famous, but I would rather be honest. Let us preserve this honesty, now and forever.

If We Win I'll Sit On Your Face!

So it was like 2023 (yes this took a long time mostly because my day job got in the way and when I'm too tired I just sit and play really long 4x games) and I was getting back into making my own cartoons again. I was talking to a co-worker at my day job about how he would go to a shisha bar with friends and they decided he smoked too much and used that as an excuse to ditch him and the one guy was smoking a cigar. I was like 'ehh lets base it very loosely on the essence of that but do something different to try and push myself before I get to writing my web series 🤡 ' and I came up with this idea of comparing different types of smoking. It wasn't even necessarily meant to be all that straightforwardly funny but as it went and I was desperate to move on to other projects jokes just kind of emerged from going stir crazy or hiding shortcuts because it was taking too long. I actually really enjoyed designing these guys and they're definitely showing up again, the tall guy was not iterated at all and was exactly how I wanted him to look right away. All the voices I just mimicked from other Australian YouTube shit I liked over the years (see if you can guess them!) because they just fit the specific type of dude I was imagining and this was originally not going to be a big thing but something I put out in a few months that wasn't just something I had to throw together for a jam. God I'm so happy this is out of my brain and people can stop asking if I 'still make cartoons?' for a while before I inevitably make a project way too big again. LMAO. Tried some editing tricks I learned doing a lot of live action editing the last few years too and I think I did okay on that front, a few things compositionally that I'd change but that's for next time, there's a point where you just have to finish and move on. I still have a lot to learn about sound design though, I really want future soundscapes to be a lot richer and to really figure out how balancing works. I regret never having the time to do the classes available when I was doing my masters at film school but I had so much editing to do back then I needed all that time to put docos and short films together. Fuck even my description is taking way too long I just kind of lived this thing forever. Got more cool shit planned for the future! Hope you like xoxoxoxoEDIT: DAILY THIRD!? THANK YOU GUYSSO MUCH!

Widowmaker Behind

Eggman gets very upset at (checks notes) Sonic

Eggman gets upset. Extremely upset. Unbelievably upset. But... why? Why is he like this? What happened to the level-headed and confident Doctor Eggman that I once knew long ago? The man who always chortled with a pound of Crisco in the back of his throat? The Eggman... who would accidentally sit on top of his Dreamcast whenever he hopped into his Egg Mobile? We don't know. we just don't know. we will never know... the egg man. :(

Eggman Gets Upset

lets sit back and enjoy this short film about a silly lookin' rabbit, and his silly antics!
