Some snails can survive passing through a bird’s digestive system. By retreating into their shells and producing a protective mucus layer — like a slimy door — they can sometimes survive the journey. This allows them to be transported to new areas, helping snails spread to places they might otherwise never reach.

Snails Can Survive Being Eaten

Snails typically have 15,000 to 50,000 teeth, depending on the species 🐌

These teeth are not like human teeth but are located on a structure called the radula, a tongue-like organ. The radula is covered with tiny, sharp teeth (called denticles) that the snail uses to scrape and break down food. The teeth wear out and are continuously replaced throughout the snail's life.

The Immortal Snail Problem

A trio of dragon siblings set out on their first training hunt.

OMG IT'S FINALLY DONE! After well over a year in the making, Talons and Flurries is finally edited and finished. It's production was exhausting, with a lot of bumps in the road, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! It definitely isn't perfect, as there are a few areas where the audio and particle effects could have been elevated, as one of my first attempts at an animated film, I feel like it gets the job done. This film takes place in the Wings of Fire universe, and features some Mudwing ocs. And yes, they are PUREBRED Mudwings. Canon be damned, I really loved the color palettes I chose, as I feel like they reflect each character's personality really well. The main protag is named Ginkgo, the mostly green Mudwing, who is eager to prove himself the strongest in his tribe with completely reckless abandon. His eldest brother Gastro is the bigwings of the group, and grows frustrated upon having to reign him in during a practice hunt. Last but not least is Arion, the youngest, and most anxious about his sibling's safety. There are at least 4 other siblings who aren't featured here, but all of them are named after snails/mollusks and have some shade of orange in them. Ginkgo meanwhile is actually an adoptive sibling, making him more adamant to prove himself. I overall enjoyed animating these guys and figuring out their anatomy. I based the main run cycle off of a lion's for reference, while for every other form of locomotion, I just winged it. I'm also happy with the vocals for all these animals, as I feel like I was able to give way more emotion to the bull specifically. First episode of my series Love After Death!

The story follows a conscious zombie named Evan who can't fit in with either the zombies or humans, but at some point he will have to choose between the two. This is just the pilot episode, mainly to see how I'm going to animate the rest of the series. The others will be much better in terms of quality and plot! Still, feel free to give me constructive criticism. I'll upload the episodes on both Newgrounds and YouTube @TheGantzYT so stay tuned. Prince of the Hill (FULL animation... sorta)

Captain Long John Copper has gathered his crew to scheme their next target for a raid.

The pirate captain Long John Copper has gathered his innermost circle of crewmates to scheme about their next target for a raid. His ship, The Elegant Woman (not to be mistaken for The Elephant Woman, a lesser-known vessel) is among the most feared sights on the seas. A large bounty hangs over Coppers head, as well as those of several notorious members of his pirate crew, such as Puncher, Hammerhead, and Goldbottom, but the authorities dare not pursue them. Now, with the risk of their ruthless seafaring reputation growing stale, it is time to set sail from their hidden cove and seek fresh treasure, plunder, and glory on the high seas...
