This is how music looks to me completely sober. Don't watch if you have epilepsy!

Don't watch this if you have epilepsy. This looks significantly better in VR. Still trying to solve a color space issue after getting the desktop viewer to show more than just the left eye. Tendril is our upcoming VR rhythm game. Originally designed simulate synesthesia in real-time, it'll come with exciting rhythm and choreography challenges that'll keep you on your toes while teaching you how audiovisual synesthesia works. This video shows how my song Riverwolf looks to me. Tendril comes with a robust editor that will let you paint music with a diverse collection of preset brushes, add symmetry and all kinds of effects, and import your own 3D models & textures for full control. Upload stems, separate them by layer, add audiomorphic processing to almost every parameter, and add environments so you're not just in a black space. Then share your creations with your friends or export video for your own live performances. You can upload any audio file. It doesn't even have to be music. We're hoping to ship the base game with 20-50 tracks and a story/tutorial campaign. How many we're able to include will depend entirely on how much funding we can acquire for licensing. Additional tracks may be added later as DLC. We may run a campaign for this at some point, so stay tuned! The sooner we can garner sufficient interest in this project, the sooner we'll be able to launch the campaign and the game. In the meantime, please join our Discord: https://discord.gg/gY4avv5UVV I will be creating more songs in this simulator over the coming weeks. This was my first. This is an evolving art form and the way visuals are structured will change depending on the song. It will look significantly better once we have brush stabilization. How the rhythm gameplay will be structured will cause the visuals to evolve as well. If you have requests for songs you would like to see, leave them in the Tendrilab Discord server in #track-requests!

RIVERWOLF (Synesthesia Simulation in Tendril - our upcoming VR rhythm game!)

A young captain and her alien co-pilot crash-land on a planet full of dinosaurs.

A plucky space captain thought this mission would be easy. Just fly across the galaxy, Research an uncharted planet's oceans, and go home. But after a disaster on the mysterious planet she's been stranded with her alien co-pilot! Now the two have to survive wild dino attacks, avoid becoming lunch, and somehow find a way back to space. This is a cartoon adventure inspired by classic Saturday morning cartoons, sci-fi, dinosaurs, and dumb jokes. I made this for fun and to practice animation, so I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching, and let me know what you think!

Voyage to the Past

Some doofus asks a YouTuber what sound effect he used at 26:34 in his Playstation 5 video.

Well, I suppose the song/sound effect that Jim "Caddicarus" Caddick used at 26:34 in "The Expensive World of the PS5 Launch" and at 39:45 in "The Legendary World of Spyro Games" won't find itself... Here's the cheese for everybody reading this (including you, Caddy): Way back in Year 9 when I was worse at filmmaking than I am now, I had (and still technically have) a little logo by the name of "Endometrium Entertainment" (Yes, that is the actual name I'd given it). I put this logo after the credits of most of my Media Arts projects (or any short films I made with my school friends during the holidays when we had nothing better to do), and that logo fit the projects as snug as a bug. Fast forward to the current year and I'm an adult who's out of high school and also has a support worker who's worked in the film industry before. The logo I used back in high school is not only just someone else's video put into a letterbox and given a seizure-rainbow filter, but it's also just tacky compared to the stuff I've made today (just ignore the OniLink Please DM Me music video, that is the only thing I've released publicly). I'm making a new logo, with blackjack and a storyboard: ...Alright fine, I lied; it's just a shot-for-shot remake of the "original" logo with some of my own niche interests shoveled in to avoid plagiarism accusations. My mum told me I can't use it on actual professional film projects anyways because of the copyrighted anime poster in the background (apparently, I can't even post it online for the same reason - I suppose they've yet to watch an EmpLemon video), so it doesn't really matter how "original" this vanity card is in the end. At the very least it isn't Amy Schumer's vanity card with the lack of an onscreen name and the... Horrifying imagery in the 3rd logo I won't describe to spare your stomach. Go to avid.wiki and look it up if you gotta, but don't say I didn't warn you... ...Oh wait, this was supposed to be about a sound effect some million-sub YouTuber used in his console launch video. Yeah, so to be able to remake my "Endometrium Entertainment" vanity card from scratch, I'm going to need the two-note stinger sound Caddy used in the clip I "borrowed" for the original logo - a sound Caddy also used in his Spyro video right before the 40-minute mark. I tried Emailing the Caddy-man at first, but since his email is practically business-exclusive, I doubt he will actually respond to what I wrote to him. I've also tried Emailing/DM-ing some people who collaborated with him (including his cameraman Olly), but they have still yet to write back if they ever do. Thus, I'm going to do what all the professionals do and make an internet cartoon about me doing the exact same thing I'd already done before. Hopefully I don't get "BLAMMED!" for putting in someone else's live-action clip at the end, because Newgrounds is the one place I'd especially want to play by the rulebook from tip to toe. I still remember what had happened to 4cat all those years ago... Hey, that rhymed! Anyways, if YOU - yes, YOU want to help me find the sound but don't know what it sounds like (or if you're a Caddicarus fan like I am), then the 2 links below are for the time codes in the PS5 and Spyro videos where that very sound pops up: The Expensive World of the PS5 Launch - Caddicarus (26:34) The Legendary World of Spyro Games - Caddicarus (39:45) If you wanna see Caddy's other videos, then screw it! Here is his whole YouTube channel while you're at it: Caddy's channel Okay, that's the 3-embred quota finally met. Now for me to post this cartoon to the World Wide Web and inevitably have nobody see it ever (not even my own friends or family)! I've got 338 characters left until I can give myself 8K characters, might as well delay tonight's sleep even further to the point where I'll have to do an all-nighter and force my brain to eat itself again... Actually, Wednesday is boring enough as is. I might as well spice it up with a LITTLE bit of brain damage. ̶©̶ ̶2̶0̶/̶0̶5̶/̶2̶0̶2̶6̶ ̶E̶n̶d̶o̶m̶e̶t̶r̶i̶u̶m̶ ̶E̶n̶t̶e̶r̶t̶a̶i̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶

I'm aware that many people may not have seen the original Evil Dead movie. And you don't need to have seen it to have some fun in this episode, but there are a lot of references here that are connected to the Evil Dead series. If you want some more context before watching, maybe check out the last edition of the Spooky Zine. ABOUT THE SPOOKY ZINEThe spooky zine is a once a month mini mag that explores some more of the local lore and connects with the episodes and world of voodoo vids in a way that's external to the animation. They are a bit of fun, but also can contain wider context for viewers that want to have some additional context. Or maybe you just want to read more about what's happening in the wider universe. A LOVE LETTER TO EVIL DEADThis episode is a love letter to Evil Dead and nods to the horror classic in certain ways I hope you would find nostalgic and at the same time, perhaps encourage some new people to seek out The Evil dead movies if you haven't seen them. You have to have a passion for old school splatter gore horror. But it's got a great blend of gore and comic styled over the top supernatural elements that are sure to delight, and Bruce Campbell is just brilliant as Ash Williams. I'm super excited to learn that there are rumors Bruce may even return to the movies in some capacity. I know currently Bruce is battling cancer, which is awful news, but as he said himself, "Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch".I along with many fans are wishing him a good battle and hope he gets well soon! I'd love to see him on the big screen in Evil Dead again! Beyond this point there will be episode 4 spoilers so return to read the rest after you've seen the episode. BEHIND THE SCENES OF EPISODE 4This episode took a lot longer to make than the others, I hope that shows and also thank you for your patience. The script went through a few re writes and last minute changes that extended the runtime. Having every character in a single episode comes with more challenges, making sure to give each of them a good scene. But I think it was worth it as if you like any character in particular they are all present in this one. THAT ICONIC INTROIf you are familiar with Evil Dead you will have noticed I did my best to pay homage to the opener from Evil Dead 2 that explains the Necronomicon's origins. Making that was so much fun, animating the front cover of the book, combining it with some stock footage of an ocean that I tinted red, and for the "ink effect" on the page reveals I used some simple track mattes of real ink drop footage to do that. I love how it turned out.I also did the narration in the intro, I rearranged elements of the original script to work better with the set up for this parody. My goal was to allow people who've never heard of, or watched Evil dead to get up to speed as quickly as possible with the idea that "this book is bad news" TECHNICAL STUFFOne of the biggest challenges is creating new environments and props. Something you see on screen for a few seconds in a few shots has had to be created from scratch. Some times I over engineer stuff too and I probably could've made the chainsaw without an actually animated chain... but because I did, It allowed me to get some cool camera angles of it in action. Same can be said for the shotgun that Franklin is using. it is based of the same model they used in Evil Dead 2, the original film Ash used a single barreled Winchester, but the sequel it was a 12 guage double barrel Stevens model, and later in the 3rd movie it was a double barrel Stoeger Coach Gun, which is lovingly referred to now as "The Boomstick"Ash famously saws the barrel off in Evil Dead 2. Of course I needed a forest. Not any easy set to build but I made it easy by cutting a lot of corners, the whole forest set is just a simple plane with a particle system placing tree images randomly across the surface.I made it within an hour and the lighting is doing most of the heavy lifting. which is again fairly simple. I like my renders to not take AGES. Most of the animation scenes take about 4-5 seconds per frame. So the forest was as basic as it needed to be. Paul's date cutaway was another external set that required a suburban feel to it. so I modeled some simple houses and kept camera angles to a minimum and focused only on what I needed. it was a very short scene so keeping the set small was important... but I could probably use it again in future should the need arise.Voodoo Vids itself as a set is the biggest and most detailed because I wanted a space where I can point the camera pretty much anywhere and have a great shot. A lot of time was spent on that, but it still needs work and more will come to the set eventually. Another huge time save has been using multiple cameras within the same scene and swapping between them. traditionally I would've worked on one scene per camera shot, but using Blenders camera marker system I can have multiple cameras that I can cut to whenever I need. so I can animate the whole scene in one blend file. This also makes it easier to alter small parts or fix things in post easier without having to dig through a load of different scene files. MUFFINMuffin the Dog was referenced in the Spooky Zine and fun fact, he is voiced by our own dog Podrick. Recording his various noises is fun. To get his taco crunching sounds we used a Poppadom, he very much enjoys working with us when there's food involved. The next two episodes will probably be a little shorter again too not keep the gaps too long between them. AND for the finale there's going to be another great addition to the page that you can all experience and join in. more on that soon.We may even see some more new characters too!! FINAL NOTEThank you all for watching and a special thanks to Bruce Campbell and Director Sam Raimi for making a bonkers horror franchise that inspires fans and creators still to this day.As for Voodoo Vids please share it if you can, tell people about It! Your support is greatly appreciated with every like, vote, comment. It will be available on youtube next week, right now they remain as Newgrounds exclusives at launch. If you want to know anything else about production or things I've not mentioned here, then please ask. more than happy to answer any questions.See you in the next one! and look out for the next edition of the Spooky Zine for some more info soon!

Voodoo Vids - #4 In Bruce We Trust

next episode:previous episode:first episode: As we already did with Adipositron, this is a special episode made of deleted scenes and rejected concept art from Psycho Essence Season 1. In the top left corner the green number shows for which episode the scene has originally been created. An E indicates, that the scene was incomplete and has been subsequently extended. If there is no green number, the scene has been newly created for this episode. The red number shows, during which episode it happens canonically. Green and red numbers don´t always line up, because ideas often get rearranged during production and have now to be brought into a somewhat coherent story.________________________________________We see Lurlem in her office as an agent of the Duck Division, before we jump to Hubert and Spai, immediately after they were sucked underground in the Swamp Temple. There they meet the Wandering Servant and receive visions of the battles taking place parallel on other timelines. The Wandering Servant travels on to the Brain Research Institute to deliver the hints regarding the children's whereabouts to Lamaduil. Time jump to the debacle at the Textile Dynasty. Here, too, the Wandering Servant keeps a watchful eye on events. The ensuing zombie storm on Nulln, during which Lurlem decides to trade her soul for information, gives us another overview of how the software and hardware of various characters have been restructured. The Wandering Servant visits the Bumbalas and gets an infodump on their history of resistance against Mother Nature. After it's revealed that the zombies originate from the Frms, there are a few space battle scenes against the Frms while Hubert and Spai carry out their mission at the Boltzmann Brain Hotspot. Once the zombies are defeated, the Msäcke arrive to take care of the Frms. We learn what happens at the Golden Castle while Hubert and Spai are traveling in the stolen Uboot. The castle takes root, and there is a reception attended by Sime, who previously worked for the Draftsmen´s Order and the Brain Research Institute. She saves the local population from the mistake of leaving captured Frms alive, or even negotiating with them. The Frms launch a nuclear strike, but the castle withstands it and destroys the F-fleet, while on the ground the fried children manually eliminate the remaining Frms. Afterwards, with contempt for Mother Nature's imposed transience, the devastated Oucshrivland is restored, and from the root grows an offshoot of Banania. A few Frm shoots have also survived in the ground, but the wandering servant takes over the landscape maintenance and mows them down.____________________________________________Other Wandering Servant episodes:

But, I wasn't seeing much progress. So I took matter into my own hands. This website was made completely with RIVE. I had no experience with it when I started; two weeks later, we have this. It is a substantially easy program to learn. The only real code I am using is to handle links and sounds. Other than that, RIVE is handling all the interactions. No code necessary. So, let's bring back the Flash Era. Stick it to those stupid Tech Bros who have convinced everyone that websites need to be so boring and simple. First gameplay update! Space travel, galaxy map, giant mode, planet exploring and more!

Hey everyone! PC update v0.11 is now available! This update contains some of the first gameplay systems: Space travel, galaxy map, plasma pistol and the shuttlecraft. There's also a new Giant mode for characters and customisable fluid colours. For the first time you can use the shuttle to leave the ship, land on Planet X and explore an alien world. https://www.patreon.com/CaptainHardcore NEW: Space travel - select a destination in the galaxy map and the ship will take you there using its hyperspace drive.NEW: Galaxy map - Open the map from the computer screen in the bridge. You can use it to travel between locations. The ship can jump a maximum of 300 light years and you can select any destination within range. The galaxy is small for now but it'll grow once more of the gameplay systems are built.NEW: Scanner module - Used from the computer screen in the bridge, it'll reveal any nearby waypoints for the shuttle, more functions and waypoints will be added later!NEW: Shuttle that can take you down to planet surfaces. Once you've scanned the area and found a landing site you can use the shuttle in the hangar at the rear of the ship to descend to the planet's surface. To return to the ship just get back in the shuttle and press launch.NEW: Demo planet environment (Planet X). This small planet area was created to develop the look and feel of an alien planet environment.NEW: Plasma pistol (VR mode only). This is the first weapon, there's not much to shoot at yet but you can practice your aim with the bottles in the bar (don't shoot your crew members!) This is still work in progress, I've not decided how ammo will work yet so for now it has unlimited ammo. Desktop support is almost finished and will be in the next build.NEW: Weapon/Item selection menu (Opened by holding B on the right Index controller or A on Oculus). Time is slowed down while the menu is open.NEW: Customise pee and cum colour.NEW: Scale slider for all toys.NEW: Giant mode - this can be enabled on all characters and most toys. It increases the sliders range so you can create giant characters and toys!NEW: Added footstep sounds for walking on dirt.Improved: Characters now scale from their feet instead of the middle of their body, this stops them getting stuck in the ground when making them larger.Improved: ESC key now closes the main menu in desktop mode.Improved: Some tweaks to the Vive wand controls.Improved: Disabled teleport while in POV mode.FIXED: Large characters have their feet stuck in the ground when spawned.FIXED: Player falling into space when loading some scenes.FIXED: Some minor audio bugs.FIXED: Login issue caused by a bug in Patreons API.FIXED: Added "Intel OpenSSL Fix.bat" inside the FluidGame directory. If you experience crashes on an Intel 10/11th gen processor then running the game through this file instead of the .exe should fix it.Known issues: The collision settings UI can get screwed up when giant mode is enabled, but auto collision is still working.

HESTIA Mission: A voyage to the Moon

Going back to the Moon and building a Base.

Ever wondered what a return to the Moon could look like if we were to go there soon, and use execting tech? To not only return but to also build our first Lunar Base there? Made by animation students from Falmouth University, in collaboration with DSEA (http://dsea.uk) .
