In episode 2, Talon and the gang begin their search for the true Fire Champion.

The journey towards completing EPISODE 2 is now live on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/worldoftalon/talon-and-the-champions-of-saurithia-episode-2 Talon and the Champions of Saurithia is a sci-fi/fantasy indie animated epic series featuring power-wielding dinosaurs (and reptiles), expansive world-building, and extraterrestrial threats. Come along with us as we set out on this prehistoric quest! Set in the late Cretaceous period, our series follows Talon, a courageous young Dakotaraptor born with magical elemental powers she at first didn’t understand. Alongside her friends Kota and Luck, Talon must find the eight other Champions and embark on a journey that will transform the prehistoric world and save the universe from a dark fate. In episode 2, Talon and the gang begin their search for the true Fire Champion. The first step on their journey to unite the eight elemental Champions. But this time, things won't play out the same. There's more than one dinosaur who can control fire, and there can be only one Fire Champion. To choose the next Champion, our Fire Contenders (Rham, Sass, Cari, and Ace) must face a trial of STRENGTH and impress BLAZE, the Fire Master. Who do you think will be our next Champion? Be a part of our indie animation journey and help us bring the next episode of Talon and the Champions of Saurithia to life! We need your support to keep creating and telling these stories. Talon and the Champions of Saurithia is a sci-fi/fantasy narrative set in the late Cretaceous period, focusing on a young misfit Dakotaraptor named Talon. Unlike her ferocious peers, she is intelligent, empathetic, and seeks camaraderie among other species, setting her apart in a world governed by survival of the fittest. Talon and the Champions of Saurithia

A trio of dragon siblings set out on their first training hunt.

OMG IT'S FINALLY DONE! After well over a year in the making, Talons and Flurries is finally edited and finished. It's production was exhausting, with a lot of bumps in the road, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! It definitely isn't perfect, as there are a few areas where the audio and particle effects could have been elevated, as one of my first attempts at an animated film, I feel like it gets the job done. This film takes place in the Wings of Fire universe, and features some Mudwing ocs. And yes, they are PUREBRED Mudwings. Canon be damned, I really loved the color palettes I chose, as I feel like they reflect each character's personality really well. The main protag is named Ginkgo, the mostly green Mudwing, who is eager to prove himself the strongest in his tribe with completely reckless abandon. His eldest brother Gastro is the bigwings of the group, and grows frustrated upon having to reign him in during a practice hunt. Last but not least is Arion, the youngest, and most anxious about his sibling's safety. There are at least 4 other siblings who aren't featured here, but all of them are named after snails/mollusks and have some shade of orange in them. Ginkgo meanwhile is actually an adoptive sibling, making him more adamant to prove himself. I overall enjoyed animating these guys and figuring out their anatomy. I based the main run cycle off of a lion's for reference, while for every other form of locomotion, I just winged it. I'm also happy with the vocals for all these animals, as I feel like I was able to give way more emotion to the bull specifically. A scene from the book "Oh F*ck! Dinosaurs!"

Hey Newgrounds! Been a bit! Heres an animated scene from my book, "Oh F*ck! Dinosaurs!" Available now! I animated this from top to bottom; modeled the environment, animated the CG and 2D and did the post after effects editing. Its something I've always wanted to do since I saw Titan AE in theaters and played Xenogears as a kid, make a 3D environment with 2D characters. Been animating for about 13 years now and somehow this is the first time Ive done it! Hope you enjoy! You and your krakotl go on a dinner date...

This was inspired by a chat in discord with the writer of "Their Favorite Perch" by u/RhubarbParticular767 after talking with them about bird feet in discord. From that came two scenarios, a relaxing scene or a restaurant scene. They eventually did a relaxing and romantic scene, which inspired me to make this.
