I Experimented more with Tahoma2D, however, it lacked certain tools I needed so I had to use Krita with it. I'm aware Krita is capable of animation too but... Krita's animation tool kit is simply missing things Tahoma2D has in comparison. Its odd, but both programs had things I needed and had issues with. Krita's Animation Timeline isn't the easiest thing to follow. Maybe with more practice, I could go further? I originally made this as just an art piece... but it wasn't enough. I wanted to try animation with it as well.

Franklin has an idea to get more money in the shop

Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him. WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband & wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.

Voodoo Vids - #3 The Claw

a short animation about a stickman getting in trouble with the CIA

This is an animation i have been working on this for about a month now and im proud of how it came it out! I dont know how well this movie will do, all my past movies have just gotten blammed so im just hoping the best with this oneIf your wondering why the dialogue switches to hand written to text is because when i was working on this a month ago, for some reason the text tool didnt work properly until a month later soooooo yeah...Also you might need to pause to read some of the dialogue, My bad about that

Grey vs CIA agent

A short film about a captain who underestimates a monster. An animation exercise

Few parts of the animation were surprisingly challenging. The ocean movement and waves were fun to animate, but the boat shots required a bit more thought. Since the boat is drawn in 2D and not a real 3D object, rotating and changing angles had to be done manually to keep the illusion working. For example, when the boat tilts and the camera angle changes, I had to adjust the drawing so it feels like the boat is turning in space, even though it's really just a flat drawing. The top-down shot of the boat was also tricky. As the camera pulls away, the captain had to look upward toward the viewer, and the cabin needed a slight backward tilt. In the real world you would naturally see a bit more of the top surfaces when the camera moves farther away, so I had to fake that perspective shift in 2D. Interestingly, the sea monster itself wasn't the hardest part. The most challenging bit was actually the water splash when the monster emerges from the ocean. Getting the motion of the water to feel energetic and believable took a lot more tweaking than I expected.Everything in this animation was created using Arttista, a 2D illustration and animation tool that I built myself. I've been using projects like this to experiment with different animation workflows and features while developing it. David's job at Big Papa's is making burgers and taking orders... well, that's what he's supposed to do, but instead he does the complete opposite of what people ask him to, especially with big Papa's 3-time Burger Champion: Joe. I made this animation last year in August last year on paper, compiled it together and what not. I might as well put it here since you know, traditional is cool :D The music, animation and voices were all done by me, thanks to DAWs, MIDIs and compiling everything in Flash. the VHS effect was thanks to ntsc.rc (a cool tool which btw, I recommend you try)

Short example of a Godot Engine based video creator tool.

I've been ignoring Newgrounds for quite a bit and I think I want to try more consistently upload some of the other projects I've done this year. I'm not sure this is entirely appropriate to pose to the "Animation" section, so I'm open to mods opinion on this content here, but I think it's worth showing at least one of these vids cause I think it's a unique use of the Godot engine. Oh right, this video was entirely made in the godot engine, Its a reusable tool for generating short form content videos, though I'd like to adapt it to longform video someday, though with the way it works currently that'd be harder, since all dialog audio must be chopped up into little snippets for the actual caption. Video creation still goes by pretty fast since it handles all the editing too, and I can directly run and manipulate godot scenes in the bottom screen, but I think the more files you add to the video the harder it's gonna be to keep track of when actually stitching all together in the dialog script.

So this is it I guess... (On my public MEGA folder https://the-rope-dude.com/ you can find- A version without subtitles and 2D integrations.- Subtitles .srt files in English and French- The full audio separated in Voices, Music and FX.) How was it made? This movie was almost entirely made with Blender and edited with DaVinci Resolve.- Photoshop at the beginning and Krita more recently for some texture/material related work.- Shutter Encoder for quick and easy video editing/conversion (This is a seemingly little known Open source soft but it's amazing, go check it and support it if you like it ^^). - Wan (free and open source AI) + DaVinci Resolve to make the movements you see on DevioussSama's 2D introduction drawings (with her consent of course).- Image Glass for quick and easy image conversion/resizing/browser (another amazing open source tool).- OpenOffice and Notepad++ for the script and other text related matters.I don't know what tools the other people like DevioussSama for the 2D intro and the audio people used. I would like to take the opportunity of this post to give you an idea of the resources needed to achieve this:- This movie was my full time job for almost 3 years.- The amount of money needed to pay every person who worked on the movie (except me) was about 10.000€. That means about 15.000$ of support money (because mainly of conversion + taxes + platform commissions).- This doesn't count the amount of money needed for some software, plugins, hardware, electricity... All this to say, this whole thing would never have been possible without the generous donations of every single person who supported me these past few years. I can't believe we achieved this, thank you SOOOOOO much! And thanks as well to all the people who didn't donated but liked, shared, made kind and encouraging comments etc...! One of the reason I started to make porn was because I wanted to "pay back" the NSFW community and all the amazing porn I enjoy almost every day, but I never would have thought it could lead to such a huge thing XD and it's a lot thanks to this amazing community 😊. What's next?I should take a break, but I don't know if my brain will let me do that 😅(I'm ok, don't worry ^^). I may take a long proper break at some point but anyway.I'm not sure I'll keep my weekly posting now that MC is over. What is sure, for now, is that I want to continue to do exactly what I've been doing since 2021 (with TRD and more recently with KKP) : - Produce whatever the hell makes me horny, share it for free to everyone, repeat as long as I receive enough support ^^.But I think (and hope XD) I won't get back into a big project soon. I want to give room to some of the many little ideas I have in mind and therefor focus on smaller projects, at least for now ^^. I wrote this to help you understand what drives me and therefor better understand/anticipate what could come next :- One of the many things that keeps me motivated is curiosity and experimentation. I love to explore things I've never tried before, never seen or not in a satisfying way to me, things that can help me to explore some of my kinks or show them in a new light. That led to all the rope work/capture in almost all my movies, the French kiss between Lara and Tifa, the magic strap-on for Tifa, the tape bondage and the hanging in Mei's invasion, the Goo in TA and MC, the breast physics in MC, the tentacle in the bath in TA, the violence in Lara's Hell...- Another motivator is the pleasure to build my universe and share it through the narrative part of my stories.- Of course all the nice comments and encouragements are also a big source of motivation so thanks a lot for all this 💚. ANYWAY!!! (I talk too much 🤣😝)I hope you will enjoy this video and that it will bring some positivity in your life, this is all I wish ^^. Take care 💚🍀🫶😊

penfold reboot tesear part 1

The time has come!If I remember correctly, this is my first ever dedicated Halloween post/media 🤔.(Always wanted, never had time 😝 but this year I found some time with the final phases of Mei's Corruption being a lot of render time, I could find some mental load to affect to this) Lara Croft 3D model by Wildeer StudioSound Design and Music by Mathieu HellotLara Croft’s voice by Patapon ANYWAYLet's answer the question right away because this is also and most importantly my first official prod including AI tools 😱!(Yeah I know this is fitting with Halloween because it's a scary subject 😝) I've posted some WIPs of this project for supporters (https://subscribestar.adult/theropedude) including the first version I tested as a proof of concept and a compilation of some of the sections I didn't use in the final puzzling but that I find cool. TLDR : I love playing with this, see you next time 💚. If you have been following me long enough, you may recognize the first image of the video because it was indeed the first image of a full 3D video I crafted back in the days 😊(https://the-rope-dude.com/2024/05/19/lara-breast-tease-01/). But you may also know that I've been playing with AI tools since at least 2023 and I find this kind of tech absolutely amazing. I've tried a few things and failed a lot but now I feel like the time has come to successfully integrate some of these tools in my workflow and therefore, here is the first example that I'm confident enough to call a success 😁.Of course it's not perfect and I'm not perfectly satisfied with everything but I never am and I'm always learning + the tools apparently can't stop to get better and better every 2 months 🤩. I want to share with you how using these tools make me feel (production wise)As a 3D animator I feel like a puppeteer, precisely pulling every string of my puppet to make exactly what I want. I have a lot of detailed control but it takes a lot of time. With AI Tools I feel more like an art or movie director, trying to guide actors in the direction I want and iterating with several takes until I have the "good one".Both have their pros and cons (Mostly control and speed of prod imo) so I'm looking for ways to have the best of each world 😁.Also for example a specific camera movement is a lot easier to do in 3D but animating 6 hands groping and playing realistically with boobies and flesh is a nightmare 😝.(And to quote Kurzgesagt : I want to use AI like the align tool in Adobe Illustrator.)How was it made exactly?Of course this is overly simplified but I may explain more in depth if some people are interested but to summarize the process :- Make an image in Blender.- (Optional) Generate a 3/8 sec video with Wan2.2 (I2V) and take the last image of the video.- Make an image in Blender or Edit the previous one with Qwen/Photoshop/Blender(Control-Nets).- Generate a 3/8 sec video with Wan2.2 (FLF2V with the last frame you just edited)- Repeat- Puzzle everything in DaVinci Resolve to make it as seamless as possible.- Upscale/Upframe with Wan2.2/DaVinci Resolve- Edit/Mask/FX/patchwork in Blender/DaVinci Resolve to improve/refine/hide/modify the things hard to manage otherwise. On that matter I want to give a big thanks and shout-out to IchibanFutsuJin (https://civitai.com/user/IchibanFutsuJin/posts) we share a lot of helpful technical knowledge with each other and he does some of the most creative and amazing uses of these tools I've seen so far 😍. Definitely go check his work! In any case I hope you appreciated this little comeback of Lara Croft and I wish you a great Halloween ^^! Take care 😊💚

Lara’s special Halloween Show

Experimental surreal eye- short This animation has loosely been in the works for nearly 4 years. Largely on the back burner, to pick up between other projects. In late 2022 I came up with the concept, and in 2023 did some rough draft key frame story boards. Then for practice did a 5-10 frame animated blink to get a feel for frame rate. This year was progressively working on this version. For only being 20 seconds long, it to an insane amount of time and effort. Felt like I was going mad drawing the same patch of grey 100 times, then starting back for another patch. At the start of the year I worked on the black and the eye color. The rest rest has been sculpting the face with grey. Ending with an attempt at making background music last weekend. There’s still some things that bother me, but those skills will grow with more practice I think.I’m very happy to be finishing in October- best month.Big thanks to hazyjai, for support and encouragement through the whole process.inspiration:I used to really like the art on tool album covers as a kid, the concept was vaguely inspired by Ænima. Lava lamps, inspired the movement. hiccups:about halfway through this year, my animation file got corrupted. I definitely panicked, but thankfully there was a way to recover some of it. Maybe missing the most recent few days of work, but not all lost. Both a relief and a bit discouraging in one. Definitely switching to a real animation software for the next one. Too many limitations and I don’t want to risk that happening again. When I finally felt ready to upload, ran into issues too. Some stretching and distortion. The video is smaller now, but I believe that’s fixed. I've wanted to animate for a very long time. I’m happy to finally be taking those steps.

Anger is a powerful tool

Hello everyone and happy autumn! While I am working on adding new characters, I did not want to leave you without news. Many of you have been asking me to make milking of characters for a long time and I also wanted to do it and improve it.In this update, I added a new tool that allows you to milk each breast separately, adjusting the speed and intensity as you wish. You can also group tools so that they work as a single unit. I changed the appearance of liquids to make them more like real milk, and I also had to rework the body physics. Now the movements feel more natural and do not break when stretched too much. You will also notice that I increased the number of toys available in the inventory. Each toy now displays a number indicating how many copies you can take with you on stage. In addition, I fixed a lot of bugs and made it possible to leave the player's room without interrupting the interaction with the character - I think this makes the gameplay more convenient. I will take a short vacation for a week, and then, with renewed energy, continue working on new characters. I may soon share images of the naga model I'm making. Thanks for your support and see you soon! In each episode, chibii-san adds new items and characters into the black room, eventually making it their own creative, quirky and chaotic home. THE MP4 HAS MORE FIXES TO MISSING FEATURES WATCH THE MP4 THANKS FOR Daily 2nd Place!!!!! EPILEPSY WARNING Original Title: Pico Day 2025, Sonic Vs Goku, then changed to Sonic Vs Goku Vs Pico Vs Tom Fulp, then changed to Pico Vs Newgrounds Finished on 4/18/2025, I am just going to post it today because I want this to be an early birthday present The original was boring but check it out: click here Don't worry it won't be like the 2003 one... Happy Birthday TOM! this is for your birthday also if I don't finish the other Pico Day one, I don't really like that one so I wanted to make this for you :) Happy 47th birthday Mr. Tom! BEFORE READING Keep in mind that I could not see the early 2000s, so I am trying my best to convey the 2000s! Dear Tom, I may not know you, but your site is awesome, anyway I want to share some information, I decided to get some audios from 2003 - 2005 to capture the feel of the old newgrounds you created, like Doomsday!, C&C Red Alert - Hellmarch, and Bond, James Bond... Metal. I wanted to animation to feel old so I used the pencil tool to give the feel of the old newgrounds animations when they didn't use the brush and used the pencil for some odd reason, like Decline of Video Gaming 3 and Halo: Funny Situations. (Yes I know they also used handdrawn but they used very thin lines and I ain't doing allat.) I hope you enjoy this animation Fulp. Yours awesomely, Cheppekka Tom's shirt texture: click here Fun facts: A lot of old flash animations used mk1 sound effects, which means a lot of people had mk1 back then I used this cool setting to find all these old fragments Did you know you could type ?emulate=flash to older animations that use the newgrounds launcher Tom Fulp was 12 YEARS OLD making up a concept for newgrounds The creator of the Ultimate Showdown was 14 when making his animation It takes the average self animator about 9-11 months, this took me from march 8th to april 18th There are a lot of deleted and lost media animations from newgrounds because of the rating system back then, but lets not be too sad, it's because they weren't good. newgrounds has been on national NEWS yes NEWS for the kindergarden killer game tom is a kind guy, ik shocker right?!
