Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7 We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/ We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/ We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. These games established an artistic vision that largely inspired Stage 2. We also thank Patrick Majewski for permission to include The Mud Vile from Monster Basement as part of this film.Credit: https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/ We thank Igor Stravinsky for The Rite of Spring. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:

Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.

Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.

Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.

Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.

Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.

Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. KARO NOTES:HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE DONKEY KONG COUNTRY TV SHOW!! This cartoon took alot of different changes over the time it was being made, and the first couple parts were done in January (hence I added back the PINGtreon supporters from that month) This was initially meant to be a collection of skits based on the show like my previous DK vid, until the Rasslin' idea came to me. Most the production time went to that, so for something simpler, I dug up some of my previous cartoons, and had K.Rool intrude them. Adds to the main theme of this more, that way. This is my biggest production yet in terms of the length, and that's largely because of the rasslin' part with King Koopa, which I liked because it gave K. Rool the shot to earn legit respect as opposed to trying to take respect by force. Not to say he won't take both methods, still. Just the kinda croc he is. Also not gonna turn down the opportunity to dunk on Nu DK a lil' as well. The music track I used for K. Rool's Takeover is called "Afterburner", a Nelvana stock track from "Rock Smackdown" of Nelvana's stock music library. Composed by Paul Koffman and Timothy Foy, as is the other music used in the show. There was a second song I had planned for this using another Koffman/Foy track, but couldn't fit in, so I'll have to save it for something in the future with the Kongs. This mocap monkey show means the world to me, so I'm glad I could get something like this done and out for the 30th anniversary. ~KARO '26 TO JOIN THE PILLOWFORT► https://patreon.com/CountessKARO WHERE ELSE TO FIND ME►https://countesskaro.carrd.co/ STORE►https://countess-karo-shop.fourthwall.com/

Perception is a very specific phenomenon...

Perception is a truly peculiar phenomenon. If a person sees something on a screen - say, water droplets falling onto flowers - they naturally associate it with rain and assume that it is indeed raining (even though rain might have nothing to do with it - who knows?..). This is the "first impression effect": - something that momentarily clouds our vision, leading us to realize that behind an act which initially appears to be mere mischief, there actually lie noble intentions - an attempt to transform this gloomy, gray world using something seemingly harmless... But to understand this, one must see... -Ivan

The Official Cuntavision Dress-up Game!!

The head honcho Cisernos get manhandled by a man in armor for being abusive

"I always knew that i shouldn't have hope. But for just one moment, i wanted to dream." Bola thought to herself, fighting the tears that threatened to burst forth by closing her eyes. The patrons begin to pour back into the cafe. "Hey Bola." That same raspy voice that lorded over her nightmares came to her ears. Bola opened her blurry vision only to be greeted with Cisernos's terrifying grin as she licked her lips inches from the maid's visage. "It's time for us to discuss your work performance." She said slowly, watching with glee as the fear and hopelessness truly etched itself on the maid's face with every word she says. Bola's third eye darted to the right. Juri stood there, a bead of sweat broke across her forehead. Her hands trembling, it was alien to Bola to see the sadistic maid in such a state. "Don't look at Juri, she isn't going to save you. Now about that client." Cisernos grabbed Bola's wrist, she didn't grab too hard or anything. Why would she? The look on Bola's dumb cute little face tells her that she isn't going to resist. "Follow me into my office-" Cisneros noticed that Bola's eyes widened and her lip started trembling as she took a wobbly step back, Juri took five steps back, the maids stood as still as a scarecrow. And that when she felt the scalding hot metal fingers wrapped around her throat. Searing the flesh off her neck. She was lifted off the ground like a toddler, the now heated metal burning into her throat. Bola fell on her butt as she stared at the raging inferno that was the armored warrior who saved her life. The Slayer has returned. Cisneros got slammed face first into the ground, cracks forming as her nose is caved in and lights flung wildly in her vision as she thrown into the window of Sweet Cream. "OOOOOHHHHHHHHH SHHHHHHHHHHIITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!" Cisneros screamed as she hit the glass back first, the shattering making all the patrons jump back. Some of the maids winced, not in sympathy, but some of them knew from first hand experience that getting hurled through a glass window hurted. Cisneros had been so kind as to demonstrate that to them whenever they got out of line. Lucky for her that she had access to a repairman that was pretty cheap. Cisneros felt the long jagged glass shards impale her all over. Luckily none of them hit too deep. The back of her head hit the counter of the bar, knocking over drinks. She blacked out for only a moment, prior experiences had hardened her to quickly snap out of a black out. Another factor that played into her recovering a little more quickly was her martial art. All Martial Art users have a higher tolerance for pain and damage. How much can they take depends from user to user. "And…thank Veju for me unlocking my Martial Art. But to more important matters…HOW THE FUCK ISN'T THIS BASTARD DEA-" The thought that Cisneros had died in her brain as she saw the towering inferno walking towards her like a warning from the Titans themselves. Cisernos grabbed her shotgun, her hands shaking, the melted flesh from her throat dripping onto the shotgun. she couldn't afford to make another pocket dimension. It would take a lot of time and energy which she damn sure didn't have right now. Hell when she got access to that giant napalm bomb courtesy of Reggie she placed it in the pocket dimension because she knew that if she ever had to finally take down that smug bastard Mikhali then that would be an instant win condition. "I knew he was tough but how the hells did he survive that?! It was a specially designed napalm bomb made in that other realm during a war. That bomb alone could wipe out an entire army! I paid half of Juri's college fund for that bomb!" She thought in a panic (she hated the fact that she of all people was losing her calm in this moment.) The Patrons scattered with only one female staying to watch what was about to happen. She was obliterated on five beers and three martinis and she never missed a good fight in her life. "Juri! Soda! Get him!!!" Cisernos roared, even if it pained her to do so, luckily her vocal cords weren't damaged too badly. Both Juri and Soda look at each other, and then at the burning warrior that slowly made his way to their boss. Each step blackening the wooden floor. Juri's hands tightened over the handle of the farenblade (a laser sword that can cut through most things, she was not eager to risk her life on this simple fact however.) and she took a step back. The sweet wholesome maid next to her named Soda hovered her hand near her gun holster before thinking better of it. "You fucking cowards, all of you are good for nothing-" Cisneros cut herself off, now wasn't the time for perfectly justified anger. Cisneros attempted to fire her shotgun but the Slayer jammed his fingers into the hole and the shotgun exploded, Cisneros's right arm exploded in pain as it became encased in ice. The feeling in her hand was already dead. The sharp ice shards tearing through her veins and muscle tissue. She screamed in agony, and did her best to blink back the tears rapidly making their way to her eyes. The one woman cheered as the maids gasped in shock and horror. Bola's eyes were as wide as dinner plates as Juri had a small smile at the sight of Cisernos's in pain. Soda grinned at the satisfying sight of her boss finally getting what was coming to her bitch ass. The Slayer grabbed her by the hair and forced her to look him in the eyes. All the patrons and maids watched with bated breath. "Who else does Mikhali have under him? It can't be just you, give me names." The Slayer told her as he lifted her up in front of everyone, powerless to do much of anything. And she fucking hated that. Cisernos grunts but figures she still have a shot of getting out of this alive with most of her body intact. "Mikhali you bastard, you might actually be in trouble." Cisernos thought with a grin. "Alright, I assume you want to be a hero to the downtrodden so i give you the names and you get the hell out of my establishment. Deal?" Cisnernos asked of the warrior. The Slayer nodded.

I tried my hand at animation to make a weird office short comedy thing, thoughts?

I am new to animation, took like over a month to get this thing together. Learned a lot. Had a vision for this in my head so I decided to work on it so I could learn animation for game development. I got very distracted and ended up just making a whole goofy skit type of video. Let me know your thoughts on it, I would appreciate it :)

Vision of the Oracle

(To hop on that gigi train that am very late too) It may not always be the vision i want but it’s close enough to make me satisfied with it, and hopefully that pays off as i continue this habit and to be optimistic about it bring more and more vids like this to you all in the soon future, again thank you for me fans for waiting for me and hopefully the waiting don’t have to be long as the last, till thenz sees ya laters mates (also the chain gal is named Cupqin, the goombas is Trames, and the toad is Roffy) Inspired by nottheCoatl034 Credits for themz sfx people SFX pack: @DrDabblur, @SquishSuccubus, OpenNSFW SFX: OpenNSFW sound pack Contributors: @LehornySFX3D, @DrDabblur, @SquishSuccubus Music named “Projection” by TheReaperPepper, other music by me

YouTube: https://youtu.be/I8IAUqY71t0 The episode may be called "Genie Meanie" but honestly, i think "Genie Dictatorenie" is the more accurate title! Anyways, this is the longest i've ever spent on a animation, 3 days of story-boarding, 2 days of drawing backgrounds, 4 days of animating and 10 hours of editing. I had a lot of fun with this EXCEPT the editing, my pc is just too dang week, and i had 1,053 individual frames to import (compared to the usual 400 minimum and 600 maximum) And it was a roller-coaster, some stuff went smoothly while other times, it either crashed or blue-screened (which has been an issue ever since the early summer of 2025) There's some errors that were sadly out of my control, at some point, when my PC blue-screened, my project file got corrupted and moved only a couple of frames backwards, it thankfully wasn't too drastic, but in a split second, Ibro's Mouth vanishes, and some shots have lip movements and sfx out of sync cause the frames were slightly pushed backwards and played 2 frames earlier. And i sadly didn't have the time to fix those 3 shots, but that's thankfully only 3 shots (And when i finish Season 5, i'll fix some of those issues in the "Season Marathon" like what i always do) While the editing part was exhausting, i still had fun with 90% of the production and i like the final result since my OG vision still shines through! :) Let me know if you guys wanna see more episodes like this with unapologetically evil villains, as for Max himself, he'll appear in another season 5 episode so if you like him, you'll be hooked for his next appearance Special thanks to @JunoToons for letting me use his music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjN5Adnjwso and @ Ibrox-Newgrounds for voicing himself [This part here is copy-pasted from all my previous descriptions, if you've already read it before, then you don't have to read it again] Disclaimer: The voices in this cartoon are all done by me, but certain characters have their voice modified through a voice changer, the choices to some of these voices may sound random but trust me, that is how I imagined these characters (i have a weird imagination i know). I don't have money and can't get a job to pay for VA's (they're private reasons, I don't feel obligated nor comfortable explaining why) and i am actually open to working with free VA's but I'm also skeptical cause of my previous experience, not to mention the long waiting times, or the fact that the voices just aren't it, which is why i don't work with them either (But i can and will, IF i find the right men!)

Louis the Cat struggles with the existential dread of life, love and anxiety

Join Louis that Cat and his friend Smacks (the Rabbit) as they navigate the labyrinth that is conscious altering entertainment products and socializing in the gritty cityscape they call home. ---------- This is the continuation and completed product of an animation I posted several years back. Around this time last year, I got a sudden and uncontrollable urge to bring this story to completion. This mini episode is intended to be the first of a hypothetical 6 part series, all about the same in length, for a total of roughly an hour and a half. The story, for the most part, is written but making it into an animation is a labor of love. Most of this is frame by frame animation. I used very few modern tools, for better or worse, to try and give this a gritty, old school feel. As the animation progresses I feel the vision becomes more and more realized but, there's always room for improvement. A huge thank you to the legendary Nocturnal Ron for supplying the beats and ending music on this. He is an outstanding music producer I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of working with. Please check out his work and give him some love, he's got a ton of awesome tracks and mixtapes: https://www.youtube.com/@nocturnalron69https://nocturnalron.bandcamp.com/https://soundcloud.com/nocturnal-ron Another most sincere Thank You to Alberto J Garcia for his unrivaled voice acting. Alberto reached out to me when I had posted the original short and, even though it took a few years, I didn't forget him when the beckon to finish this thing called. He's been featured in a ton of stuff this year and I'm happy to have had the pleasure of working with him. Sylvester & S. Whitfield, René Magritte, Catalogue raisonné, vol. II, Oil paintings and objects, 1931-1948, Antwerp, 1993, p. 387). Shéhérazade appears to have been painted in May 1947 and is considered to be one of the earliest pictures to feature one of René Magritte's iconic motifs, the pearl woman. This picture shows the woman, whose mouth and eyes are shown as islands of flesh surrounded by a mysterious framework of strings of pearls, against a backdrop of a sky hewn out of monumental arches of blue. Next to her on the tabletop are two tall pyramids, a glass of water and a thick, claret-coloured curtain. This manages both to invoke the tradition of the Old Masters of Magritte's native Belgium and also to create an intimacy, a domesticity, a normality, lulling the viewer into a false sense of security that is prised apart by the mirage-like vision of the woman who so bracingly stares out from the canvas like some Orientalist incarnation of the Cheshire Cat. She is some form of apparition, perhaps conjured by the rituals of which the pyramids and water may be the paraphernalia. At the same time, she is the alluring and ornate hostess introducing the viewer to a world that has been rearranged in order to reveal its infinite wonder.

The Liberator, Rene Magritte (1947)

'The Liberator' presents a mysterious scene likely intended to provoke thought and curiosity. It depicts a figure seated against a surreal backdrop of floating architectural structures, with soft clouds embedded within. The figure, shrouded in a red cloak and adorned with a straw hat, lacks a discernible face; instead, there are symbolic images such as a key, a wine glass, a bird, and a pipe on a blank canvas where the torso should be. The enigmatic character holds a peculiar wand-like object topped with a bouquet of facial features and eyes. The figure’s attire and the walking stick it holds suggest a sense of journey or pilgrimage, while the suitcase placed by its side further emphasizes this theme. The overall composition resonates with Magritte’s distinctive style, blending reality with dreamlike elements to challenge perceptions and evoke deeper interpretations.

The Rights of Man, Rene Magritte (1947)

In 1948, while musing on the purpose of the titles he assigned to his paintings, René Magritte proclaimed: “I think the best title for a picture is a poetic one. In other words, a title consistent with the more or less lively emotion we feel when we look at the picture”. Across a series of handwritten manuscripts—now preserved in the Archives of Contemporary Art in Belgium and collectively known as “On Titles”— the artist offered a collection of short statements on some of his recent work. Among these brief notes, Magritte wrote about Les droits de l’homme: "Here, man is reminded of his right to act on objects and change the world"

The Annuntiation, Rene Magritte (1930)

The Annunciation brings together many of the themes, both iconographic and philosophical, that engaged Magritte during his stay in Paris from 1927 to 1930, a period in which he was closely associated with the French Surrealists. The painting shows an unlikely combination of objects. Two large bilboquets (Magritte's term for the objects in his works, which, though imaginary, recall wooden balustrades or chess-pieces) stand next to an oddly shaped piece of paper with a decorative cut-out pattern. Behind them looms a grey metal 'curtain', hung with sleigh bells. Despite its incongruity, this collection of objects seems disconcertingly 'at home' in the rock-strewn landscape beneath the grey clouds in the blue sky. The size of the painting (it is one of the largest the artist ever executed), together with its traditional composition and subtle allusions to paintings of Old Master like Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, and Caravaggio, are signs of the ambitiousness of the work.

Amy's Terrible Vision

a short sequence of for my upcoming animation I'd like to share

🦴 JURASSIC NARC: THE FREIGHT YARD – Ghosts Don’t DieA Live Animation Adventure in ProgressBy Lude ConceptsHey everyone,Lou here — back in the trenches with a brand-new animation experiment that’s been brewing in the Jurassic Narc universe. This short, “The Freight Yard – Ghosts Don’t Die,” is a noir-crime sequence pulled straight from the darker corners of Jurassic Narc. It’s where loyalty, betrayal, and guilt collide — and where our amphibious antihero, Commissioner Olover Hopz, comes face to face with a ghost from his past: Chuck Fettuccine, his long-lost partner turned revenant with a gun and a grudge.Visually, this project pushes a hybrid style — 2D hand animation mixed with comic panel stills, cinematic camera moves, and pulpy atmosphere. Think Sin City meets BoJack Noir, with that signature Lude Concepts grimy edge. Every frame is designed to feel like a lost page from a crime comic.⚙️ What’s Happening Right NowThis project is currently deep in WIP (Work in Progress) mode — animated live on TikTok, where you can catch the process as it happens: rough sketches, frame breakdowns, voice recording sessions, and the occasional caffeine meltdown. The goal is to not just show the process — but to build the world in real time with anyone who wants to be part of it. Artists, animators, sound designers, voice actors, or even storytellers who want to throw their creative DNA into this world — this is your invite. 💀 Why This MattersThe Freight Yard story is a key piece of the larger Jurassic Narc mythology. It dives into the psychological decay that drives these characters — and sets up threads that will connect directly to the main series and future episodes. It’s personal, gritty, and full of that “animated fever dream” energy that made Jurassic Narc what it is.💸 Crowdfunding & CollaborationThis isn’t a corporate-backed studio piece — it’s a community-built passion project. If you dig the style, the vibe, or the chaos of indie animation, support and collaboration mean everything right now. Whether it’s helping fund production, offering creative input, or sharing the project with people who’d love it — every bit of energy helps bring this vision closer to the finish line.🎨 Interested in joining or supporting the project?

DM me here or hit up ludeconcepts.com

Follow @LudeConcepts on TikTok and Instagram for live animation updates

Drop your ideas, art, or sound reels in the comments — let’s build something raw and unforgettable

The freight yard is alive again.The ghosts are waiting.And this time… they’re not staying buried.– Lou Perez / Lude Concepts#JurassicNarc #AnimationWIP #IndieAnimation #Newgrounds #GhostsDontDie #2DAnimation #CrowdfundIndieArt
