Tales of Zale - OFFICIAL Trailer

A trio of dragon siblings set out on their first training hunt.

OMG IT'S FINALLY DONE! After well over a year in the making, Talons and Flurries is finally edited and finished. It's production was exhausting, with a lot of bumps in the road, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! It definitely isn't perfect, as there are a few areas where the audio and particle effects could have been elevated, as one of my first attempts at an animated film, I feel like it gets the job done. This film takes place in the Wings of Fire universe, and features some Mudwing ocs. And yes, they are PUREBRED Mudwings. Canon be damned, I really loved the color palettes I chose, as I feel like they reflect each character's personality really well. The main protag is named Ginkgo, the mostly green Mudwing, who is eager to prove himself the strongest in his tribe with completely reckless abandon. His eldest brother Gastro is the bigwings of the group, and grows frustrated upon having to reign him in during a practice hunt. Last but not least is Arion, the youngest, and most anxious about his sibling's safety. There are at least 4 other siblings who aren't featured here, but all of them are named after snails/mollusks and have some shade of orange in them. Ginkgo meanwhile is actually an adoptive sibling, making him more adamant to prove himself. I overall enjoyed animating these guys and figuring out their anatomy. I based the main run cycle off of a lion's for reference, while for every other form of locomotion, I just winged it. I'm also happy with the vocals for all these animals, as I feel like I was able to give way more emotion to the bull specifically. (It still has a few parts left if you're interested :D) Could have definitely spent more time on the background and foreground elements, But I still like how it turned out! thoguht i would post some of these. theyre in order from newest to least new and contain lots of really old things like well over a year old. not a coherent movie but probably entertaining if you just wanna see some cool monsters. alot of them are for the cos spoof maps so thats why theres so many goofy dinosaurs. the species in these parts belong to creatures of sonaria and its devs. the one with the cats has characters from warrior cats (bristlefrost and some others) ngl ive only read like 1 or 2 books when i was in middle school but i joined cuz warriors maps are always badass. the song is mine

I hate to ask like this, but I was honestly disappointed by how little attention it received. I'm not saying give it a high rating, rate it honestly. But it just hurts to see something I worked on for years to be passed up by something someone made in like half an hour (no hate to other animators on here, but ya'll know the types of animations I'm referring to lol). Maybe it was just posted at a bad time, but I figured with such a popular IP it would pick up traction fairly quickly. I don't make any money off of these, I just do it to entertain people, but like if no one's watching, what's the point? If you watched and/or left a review, thank you so much, it means a lot to me, even if you didn't like it. Welp, it's been 3 years in the making, but it's finally done. I try to do something new in each iteration of my animations, and this time the intent was to go for some more traditional 2d animation procedures (drawing in 2's, using animatics, etc.). Only problem is, it takes forever doing it the traditional way. On top of that, a busy college life, and there go 3 years. Anyways, it's done now, and I hope the pain was worth it lol. I did the voices in like 2 days, so hopefully they sound close enough to the characters. Hope you enjoy! See ya in 5 years... if I come back lol. Oh and watch my other stuff. K dats it bye. PS for after you have watched the video: I'm sorry Shrek... ...but it's all ogre now.
