Small experimental animation project I did for a class Spring 2025. You may recognize it's characters from Screwypilled Tooncels as at this point in time a lot of ideas for that series were starting to come together. I was working on test animation and writing Rick's Demon Dilemma so River, Styx and Lavathorn appearing here was my way of previewing them to people. Likewise, you can see a Hellhound from Hellhounds, and Fuzzy and Fluffy from Fuzzy and Fluffy, who first appeared in a 3D animation project. You can tell I was really starting to plant the seeds for my future work here. This was actually a part of a VR installation where people could watch it in a virtual world and it was projected up drive-in style. My professor was kind of a zealot for all this dumb techy gimmick stuff that I can't even begin to understand I just wanted to make silly cartoons. My pitch for this was Roger Rabbit meets FNAF. It's actually called Liminal Locust, in reference to the name of the warehouse the final exhibition took place(some of the photos here are even from the warehouse) but obviously that doesn't make too much sense out of the building. And let me tell you, that night was PAINFUL. They focused on our VR work for like 30 minutes max and the rest of the night was devoted to listening to these awful ''experimental'' musicians who were just screeching and playing noise from a box, I was laughing so hard and holding onto my friend for dear life. Other Weirdcore Toons art Watch on the 'Tube

HellBlaze HQ) back when our sites were merged way back in 2006.. and from now on, you can also find all topics related to this series here as I was able to acquire the data for original HellBlaze Cafe forums (2004-2011), and merge it into Talk Nexus forums, and so, the two communities are now officially together once again. So, if you want to ask questions or discuss what's going on with the series and such, this is the place to be, as this is where the past, present and discussion of this series future can be found. P.S. If you are reading this notice and have already joined the forums, thank you, and your account has been validated, the reason you didn't get an email, is because I am ironing out some bugs from the conversion and merge of HBC's data with Talk Nexus. PEDRO HERMANO

The day that changed Worker Workpants' life.

It’s just a normal day for Worker Workpants until his boss introduces a robot named Workbot that can do Worker’s job faster and more efficiently than him. Worker must now find a way to keep his job before his boss doesn’t need him anymore. Worker even tries to ask Workbot for help. However, Workbot may be hiding her true intentions from everyone, and it may only take Worker’s passion for the business to stop her, despite his messy imperfections. This is an old animation I made for a school project a year ago. It was originally uploaded on April 16, 2025: my youtube channel's 10 year anniversary. I forgot to upload it to NewGrounds so I'm doing that now. Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him. WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband & wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.

Lyrics:GET ME OUT OF HERE Pick at the walls of my enclosureDays slip away all while I'm losing my composureA fleeting life, a death deniedBetween the bars, outside the box, my freedom lies Trapped in a cell built of my own designHow can that be? Beauty beholden the eye...The will to go on fated to disappear, I'm begging-(You gotta) x6Get Me Out of Here. Watching the clock as hours fall byDrawing a blank, ideas left on the floor to dieLook through the window watching all of the stars go by (Stars go by~)Time's running out, a mental drought, nothing to show Trapped in a cell wrought by my own declineHow can that be? Success is mine to define...The will to go on fated to disappear, I'm begging-(You gotta) x6 Try as I might to create~Over and over the mistake~Getting wrapped up in your head~Just stop caring go get up and make instead~ [Dance Break] Pen to the canvas and drawing the lineEnough standing here I'm all done wasting my timeIt doesn't matter if it ends my career, I've got to-(I gotta) x6I'm getting out of here.

POPPY PLAYTIME CHAPTER 5 IS HEREEEE!! As much as I loved the Prototype’s design, I do wonder what he was originally supposed to look like based on CatNap’s shrine in Chapter 3….which is why I TOTALLY snuck into Mob Entertainment’s flash drives and DEFINITELY found this lying at the bottom of a “Do Not Touch” box. Here’s the original Prototype’s design! Is it better than what we got? Probably not, will the miserable people complaining about his design be satisfied? Probably not as well. Do we have much longer until this giant factory introduces O-Block the Sock? Man, I hope not…. NOT FOR KIDDIES!!!!!! Green's Box / Teto Brainrot Medley Something

Music by Armin Jusuframić, performed 2025, https://arminjmusic.com/Thank you so much for this fantastic dark ambient reinterpretation! The original version of this comic-animatic was drafted around 2010. Dead Space was the game that motivated me to buy my first proper gaming computer back in the 2010s.Back then, during a gaming party with some friends, one of them introduced us to Dead Space which he played in his Xbox 360. I was Blown away. I was unaware of the advancements in horror gaming and loved the immersive environment and creature designs. So I started saving for both a custom gaming computer from a small PC building business(a Rig which would also serve me for art and design) and a physical copy at an Office Depot (I didn't know of Steam until the sequel came out). While I was setting apart the money to buy my gaming rig, thanks to the immense hype and anticipation I started drawing the original version of this comic. This scenario was drawn thanks to the lore that my friend who owned the game at the time, told us while he was playing, and I also listened to the lullaby posted here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpYz4EQVo1w&list=RDbpYz4EQVo1w&start_radio=1, Something to note is that, prior to drafting the original version I didn't see the marketing trailer, I didn't watch other gameplays or youtube videos, I didn't check the Wikia, and the character references for drawing were scarce on the internet. As you see that version was left incomplete. I was lacking some art skills, and the figures and books from the game were not very available in my country until much, much later. I got my PC and my game and forgot about it for a long while. I picked up this fan art piece, after many years as it was a fun exercise in graphic narrative, and now I learned a bit of extra skills to properly finish comics. For the storytelling, I took inspiration from the Lullaby and used the lyrics as symbolisms to narrate the sequence within these pages. This is the tought process and break-down of the panels you see: Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star (glowing eyes)How I wonder what you are (a lifeform, a necromorph)Up above the world so high (necromorph falls from the ceiling)Like a diamond in the sky (Necromorph's glowing eye+ The Miner looking up)When the blazing sun is gone, (Sun=Miner's life)When the nothing shines upon, (Darkness=Miner's death)Then you show your little light (Little light=Infector's Proboscis, sign of reincarnation/life, tunnel of light while dying or near death)Twinkle, twinkle, all the night. (All the night=Time Passing, transformation ongoing, preparing to return to life as a new form) Then the traveler in the dark, (Isaac)Thanks you for your little spark, (living monster=uncleared area )He could not see which way to go, (path unexplored, exit level is near)If you did not twinkle so. (if Isaac didn't find a living Necromorph) When the blazing sun is gone, (Marker blocks sunlight)When the nothing shines upon, (Darkness=Marker is the source of the nightmare)Though I know not what you are, (the necromorph looming behind)Twinkle, twinkle, little star. (necromorph glowing eyes, little star= a lifeform) I haven't checked newest sources or lore expansion to see if what I "saw" in the lyrics was accurate to the story's representation XD. But still, wanted to finish this. Thanks so much for watching! I hope to get/play the reboot and buy its artbook soon!

Stab sounds and Dave (Soldier) and Fireboi (Heavy) voice clips are also added to make it sound like the original ending of "Meet the spy mousey (tf2 parody)".

Took me about 20 hours of my free time, but here is Penny from Go! Go! Hypergrind speaking & talking! I ain't a true Spumhead yet & still learning to animate, so the weak head nod & lack of anticipation & slight smear frames show, but I still rate this a 7/10. It's far from professional level, but it's a good start! Originally a gift art for Sandy Fox (The lady I thought was Penny's VA) the IMDB & behind the voice acting pages got updated about a week after I checked them, it turns out, Lani Minella, the OG voice of Rouge The Bat (She also voiced Piggy Sue & Bob) was checkmarked for Penny's va, so I went to ask her, she said she only recalled voicing Piggy Sue, Bob, & a character named Jenny (false memory of Penny's name? You decide chat). I was a bit saddned I wont ever know who voiced Penny, but hey, that just means I gotta get the rest of these model sheets done & make each confirmed VA a small thank you animation with their characters! So lets Jam & Hype it up! 🤘 Also, this audio is something I like to keep in my pinned section of my phone because its lowkey inspiring ("I pledge, that I will entertain the kids of the real world, to the very BEST, of my ability.") Maybe if I draw this, some kid can be inspired since a talentless hack like me who fingerpainted this on mobile & doesnt even know how to shade, could animate a character! Reminder Atlus & Spumco own this game, I'm just doing some long overdue catch up it needs to look a bit better. If you want to hear some Jam Jam Hype played over this, feel free to check my profile for the youtube link (my dumbass cant understand how to embed a link on the description box yet, apologies)

A Coherent Story - EP 1

I guess I can consider this one a jumpscare animation. The antagonist in this is surprisingly NOT the monster made out of mold, it’s actually the box (or Rubix Cube) on the monsters face. To defeat it, you gotta solve it, like a Rubix Cube. In the story it’s referred to as Der Wurfel. Song: Laura - twill.beats Silent Hill (this is a remix)

A music video created for my university, flash warning!

Hi guys! This is my first time publishing here! My university wanted me to make a music video, enjoy everyone! Took around since February to make everything, deadline is in a week. Found Femtanyl's music last year and the brief was to make a music video to do with well being so I researched how extreme music can make some people feel better emotionally more than happy music. Have been learning how to use Blender since September so I have been experimenting with what I know in this music video, all the 2D animation was drawn using a light box and some paper. Made a practical puppet for this too which can be seen briefly throughout, took around 2 weeks to make for just those shots. Audience feedback is always appreciated!
