Description
Ankylosaurians are mainly herbivorous Ornithischian dinosaurs. They are bulky quadrupeds with powerful limbs and almost entirely armored bodies. They are well known for their inability to run and their iconic plated and spiked bodies. The species with spiked and/or clubbed tails were speculated to have used them as a form of self defense or perhaps in sexual selection.
