A small Mustelid genus containing only two species: the striped_polecat and the saharan_striped_polecat. Despite the name similarity, they appear rather distinct-- the striped polecat (I. striatus) is mostly dark in color with thin, white stripes along the back while the saharan striped polecat (I. libycus) is mostly white with a dark underside and thin, dark stripes along the back.
