Description

A parental figure of a character who has children. This relation is established by the presence of a grandchild. See family roles section, or associated wikis for gender associations.

Generation relations

  • great grandparent - 0th (parent of grandparent; this naming convention continues for each generation before this)
    • grandparent - 1st (parent to a child who also has children)
      • parent - 2nd (child of grandparent)
        • grandchild - 3rd (child of parent, grandchild of grandparent)
          • great grandchild - 4th (child of grandchild; this naming convention continues for each generation after this)
