Description

Marika is the chief deity in FromSoftware's RPG Elden Ring and the mother of most of the gods in the setting. She is depicted in iconography as a beautiful human woman with blonde hair and pale skin wearing a revealing black dress with gold inlay, but her actual body has the appearance of a disfigured stone statue missing an arm and much of its torso. Radagon is both her alter ego and her husband, making them a possible example of selfcest; however, the exact nature of their relationship is never explained, and is subject to fan interpretation.
Maliketh was created to serve as her servant, but she abandoned him after he failed to protect the Rune of Death.
The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC reveals that before Marika achieved godhood, she was the victim of a genocide at the hands of the omens. In revenge, she used her newfound powers to subject them to a genocide in turn.
