- Use for wide eyed expressions that represent surprise, fear, interest / curiosity, blank / neutral expressions, big eyes with small or no mouth.
- Similar and often overlaps with :o, which focuses on the shape of the mouth more so than the eyes.
- Often contains constricted pupils or empty eyes.
