Description
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is an action RPG video game in the Pokémon franchise released for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles in October 16, 2025. It takes place entirely within the Kalos region from Pokémon X and Y's Lumiose City, which is currently undergoing an urban redevelopment plan led by Quasartico Inc. in an attempt to make the city a place where humans and Pokémon can live in harmony. As the second game in the Pokémon Legends series, it features open-world catching mechanics similar to Pokémon Legends: Arceus, however, it has a unique real-time battling system brand new to the franchise. The game also introduced new Mega Evolutions for several Pokémon, as well as returning characters from Pokémon X and Y, which are now slightly older due to the five year time gap between the two.
