When a character is brought to be obedient, loyal, friendly, or fill a specific role for another, their tamer. This is done by breaking their will, or through more gentle or kind methods such as gaining their trust. Regardless, the end result is that the tamee has been brought into accordance by the tamer. This can be a more bestial character being befriended into a pet, but can also be a person being forcefully trained into the tamer's unquestioning slave. Generally the connotation is that the character was once wild, free, or unattached before their taming.
