Are we victims of the system, or just comfortable cowards? My dystopian animation.

Hey everyone,I wanted to share my graduation short film, "Ghost in the Machine". It’s a dark, dystopian animation that dives into media manipulation, corporate greed, and the matrix of modern control. The Concept:The film uses a TV glitch aesthetic as a narrative device. In this world, a "glitch" isn't a technical mistake—it's a momentary fracture where the polished, corporate reality slips, exposing the raw, ugly machinery of global exploitation, manufactured crises, and mass pacification underneath. The Tech:I spent months bringing this to life using Blender's Grease Pencil. I wanted to create a raw, haunting look by mixing traditional 2D line art with 3D space and heavy glitch post-processing.A quick heads-up: The voiceover is in Hungarian, but I have embedded English subtitles directly into the video, so you won't miss any of the monologue. It ends on a pretty cynical note about collective guilt and societal apathy. I’m genuinely curious to hear what you guys think about both the visual style and the message. Is it too doomer, or is it just an accurate reflection of where we are heading?Drop your thoughts in the reviews!Created with Blender (Grease Pencil).

Pushing the boundaries of 3D combat with a 2.5D anime-inspired aesthetic. This project was an exercise in Body Mechanics and Cinematic Camera Choreography. I avoided the standard "smooth" 3D look in favor of punchy, key-pose-driven animation to capture that high-energy anime "Sakuga" feel.Technical Highlights:

Hybrid Workflow: Blending 3D volume with 2D timing and spacing.

Camera Tricks: Utilized opposing-motion parallax to enhance the weight and speed of impacts without relying on the graph editor.

Custom Assets: All character designs and the neon arena environment were built to support high-readability silhouettes.

Aiming for a mainstream production feel rather than just previz. Would love to hear your thoughts on the weight of the shield impacts!Software: Blender

Franklin has an idea to get more money in the shop

Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him. WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband & wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.

Unexpected Murderers on the Harpy Express - Minecraft Animation

A psychological horror short about the monsters in our heads.

What does your anxiety look like? This is the official teaser for LATCHERS, an indie 2D psychological horror project. The story follows a student who drifts into "The Vivid": a space where our heaviest internal burdens manifest as physical parasites. Every single shot in this teaser was done solo and frame by frame. I used traditional 2D animation to capture a specific type of heavy, sluggish movement that reflects mental exhaustion and burnout. Most of the dream state visuals were inspired by old glitch art and retro tech aesthetics to keep the atmosphere as unsettling as possible. The First Internet Animation On Three-Strip Technicolor.

So….Uhh…Sonic The Hedgehog is back on my animation production after 2 years? Kinda because it actually a competition of short subjects that I created during the Late 2022-2023 Period and been rerelease (or reissue) under my film distribution “Saturn Vision Media Film Distribution” including new yet nostalgic-like title cards. but there a catch but an artistic catch to enhance my animated shorts color wise. That would be The Ol’ Three-Strip Technicolor Process from the Golden Age of Hollywood or Animation that make colors look very vibrant. Because keep in mind that I’m very fascinating on vibrant colors or the aesthetic of retro cinema for god how long. Why am I using an old technology that has now dead for 7 decades or 42 years if you count Mickey Christmas Carol being the final animated short to be produced on Three-Strip Technicolor. To revive lost aesthetic or art from the retro Hollywood. enjoy this animation competition. an isometric scene of a retro futuristic frutiger aero solar punk device

I recommend watching on fullscreen and with headphones 大家好！Hola! This is a hydroform node, made for terraforming extraterrestrial planets, a planet is bombarded with ice and water meteors to then get heated up and form clouds, a hydroform node takes the formed clouds and converts them into liquid water while distilling and purifying it from other vaporized chemicals mixed in the air, then the prepared water gets pumped out to different places of the planet. The fish is a bioindicator organism, if the fish survives the water is biologically safe, colonists use these as environmental diagnostics. for the overall design I got inspired by Frutiger aero aesthetics, and solar punk concepts for the conceptualization. I thought the result is something you would find in terraria, so i composed the soundtrack a bit like terraria's making it a pixel art Frutiger aero-solar punk mix style. I wanted to get a liminal feeling, or nostalgic feeling, I'm not sure how i got it but i did, to get it i deliberately let some elements of the composition feel off or odd, as in liminal spaces, something that has to do with the lightning, the only thing that casts shadows on this scene are the suctioned clouds and they only cast shadows within themselves, the rest is composition, for example the shadow casted by the device is actually a transparent cube, the shadows casted on the grass by the unimplied clouds are shaders, nothing casts shadows because almost every object's material has emission turned on The process i like using blender for creating 2d like stuff, playing with shaders and programming animations with geometry nodes, so a rough quick sketch took me a few hours and i got this: Then i started conceptualizing and using my references. at first i wanted to make it look as an infinite water body rendered within the boundaries of a cube but it looked as normal water but i ignored that. i used geometry nodes and the shader editor for the water, noise texture for the displacement (using geonodes) and i animated a voronoid texture for the water texturing, The caustics are a voronoid texture on a plane, also seen over the fish. animating the text was easy, i wanted it to look like a converged human language from the future, i used a font called stray (i think this font is from that game also called stray, never played it). I animated it arranging different texts and glitched versions in a 2d image, then animated the texture coordinates of the plane what will have the text.the pipes are transporting water, thats all, it may look weird but it is just moving water. i used geometry nodes for that animation specifically using a waves texture for scaling the pipe across a spline curve.the grass is just 4d noise texture setting the position of each vertex overtime.i didnt know how to make it loop perfectly so i leaved it as so. made only with blender (except the text texture, it was made using Photopea)As for the music, i wanted it to sound nostalgic and chill, i tried to get as close as the visual feeling i had at that time making the scene, So i chose the Mixolydian scale becase of the bVII, and 9th chords, a slow pace rhythm and sounds akin to the style (lofi old school frutiger, chiptune) i produced it with FL studio The sound effects are some folley, others are sounds i found in the internet and some i did with synthesizers The blend file is all yours to explore! Some other arts i've done (mostly with blender) 3D geometry dash sphere spider animated by bboybeat on Newgrounds I also make music; some of these are like the one of this animation! bboybeat's Audio. I have a Fiverr gig for music composition, no orders yet, but it exists Compose unique and immersive video game music by Just_cristopher | Fiverr. [35mm Teaser Trailer] TinasheJK's "Remake" Animated Shorts

I REPLACED THE MUSIC ORIGINALLY IN THE TRAILER WITH ONE THAT'S COPYRIGHT FREE AND NOT VERY FITTING. My dearest friends, i've finally finished my development on Trauma Pro Wrestling! Down below you find a list of all the changes that i've applied to the game over the course of the last few weeks. This has been a very long journey, much longer than i anticipated going in, but looking back i can finally say that the game is exactly the way i want it to be, and i hope that you can enjoy playing it as much as i enjoyed making it! PLAY TRAUMA PRO WRESTLING: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2836630/TRAUMA_Pro_Wrestling/ I've also put together one last neat trailer to put all the features that the game offers in its entirety all in one place, for your personal enjoyment. New Features: -Introduced the Strap Match among the selectable Special Matches! Beating it will allow you to use the strap in exhibition matches as well!-You can now select the option, at the beginning of each Career run, to limit the amount of actions that you are granted in between each match (this does not include purchases). You will also receive a slight bump in your post match rewards for choosing the option. Minor Changes: -Stat changes made on your created character for the Career mode are now also applied to normal matches.-You can now randomize colors in the character editor.-Certain stipulation of all pre-existing Special Matches have been changed.-Fixed the position of an object in the character editor/created character.-Fixed a bug that would ruin the animation loops under certain circumstances.-The damage bonus dealt by critical hits has been increased.-Critical hits now have their own particle effects.-Added new questions to the interview section in Career mode.-Touched up and redrawn a few sprites.-Lowered the price to purchase Special Matches in Career mode.-Added a new cutscene for Career mode.-Slightly improved on the Coffin Drop animation.-Touched up the physics for normal and slipper ring mats.-Actual gameplay suggestions will occasionally show up during loading times.-Other minor aesthetic improvements.-Other minor bug fixes. I've also tried updating the nearly 3 years old Unity build i've been using this whole time and all it did was turn off all the entire fucking lighting system for no reason. Alright, now i feel like i can finally move on to my next project. Very excited about what's to come next! (I'll still fix any bug that's reported to me!)

THE LAST UPDATE - Trauma Pro Wrestling

Funny red man looks worried and does stuff

Hey guys, so essentially for a sort of elective class I wanted to do, I actually decided to partake a cool looking animation class, with the final project in mind being a 1 minute (or as close as you can to 1 minute lol) animation that uses more then one form of animation (in my case it was a mix of 2D, my favourite and preferred style, stop motion and live action stuff). This took me about like a month of on/off work and two weeks of pretty intense work to complete and whilst I think that the pacing of the animation can be improved upon, with some parts feeling quite rushes, it had to fit the roughly 1 minute time limit and if I gave it any more breathing room I probably would have been marked down for it lol. I feel like in general I'm pretty happy with the results, 2D stuff is stylised well and some part look quite nice, particularly the 2D stuff in the cave. However, by the end I was kind of in a mad dash to complete it by the deadlines so some of the end character 2D and stop motion bit could have been improved upon. Regardless, I still wanted to upload it as is just cause I think its an important lesson that I guess not everything that I make can be endless tinkered at and at some point I just gotta move past, say fuck it and upload it lmao (even though with more personal projects I may not follow this philosophy since I don't have an enforced deadline). Anyways, whilst I sort of just used my upcoming game that will hopefully release in the next 100 years, Alonomoly, as a framework for characters, tone and aesthetics, I think that its pretty thematically compatible with what I want the tone of the final game to be like and could potentially use this as a base to make an intro FMV cutscene lol. Also yeah, that last quote was made by me after listening to TPAB for the first time and falling in love with the album, hope it resonates with some of y'all since I think its a nice bowtie on the general themes of Alonomoly. So yeah that's just about it, might update the description for this with any further notes if I think of anything, but if you are reading this, thank you so much for taking an interest in my stuff and actually being bother to read descriptions, its a thing that people just don't do nowadays, so yeah thanks for putting in the work dawg lol. Uhhh... yeah enjoy, more art soon, more animation soon and I'll officially start my game dev journey next year, so more stuff coming, unless I die or a solar flare strikes the earth and electricity is just completely gone for like a couple months, and if that is the case, I'll have a physical billboard where I'll pin up photo copied versions of my art, give it a gander if you care. Anyways, I've yapped on long enough. Peace! ^w^ ADDITIONAL NOTES:- Also the animation specially said it had to be rendered in 1080p, so that why its only 1080 and not 1440 or even 4K like I'd do otherwise lol.
